In case anybody doesn't pick up on it, 'Kozu' Is Kenma Kozume.
"Fine! I won't invite anyone to the competition." She sighs, so I nod and pass her, heading to the gym. "You're no fun, Kimiko! You know you want him to!" Aima calls after me, but I don't respond as she grumbles to herself. I arrive at the door, realizing my hands were too full to open it, sighing as I wait for Aima to catch up. "Need a hand?" A familiar voice says, making me jump as I turn and see my friend, Kozu-kun. "Kozu-kun, it's you! You're here!" I say, smiling as he opens the door for me. I step inside, Kozu following as I take the equipment over to the designated area. "Yeah, when I heard you were going to be acting as a cheerleader in Tokyo, I figured you were going to be here." Kozu says as I carefully set the bags down. "And you didn't bother to tell me? Jeez Kozu-kun, I would've brought my games had I known!" I say, crossing my arms and turning to face him. "It's okay, we can take turns on mine." He says, making me smile as I wrap him up in a hug. "I missed you!" I say, squeezing him as he hugs me back, squeezing me gently. "I missed you too. How's your family?" He asks softly as I pull away, sighing softly. I rub the back of my neck, dropping my gaze to the ground.
"My little brothers stable, my mom's her usual busy self." I say, Kozu reaching out and giving my hand a gentle squeeze. "That's good." He says softly, making me smile at his subtle comfort. He had never been one for outright comfort, but his little notions showed me that he genuinely cared. "Yeah, it is." I say, gently squeezing his hand back. "So! You're playing volleyball? Are you going to show off for me?" I ask, clapping my hands and glancing around at all the groups of people. "I play with Kuro, I don't really think I could show off, but if you show off then I'll try to make my team look nice." Kozu says, making me smile. "I'll definitely make sure to put on my best performance, so do your best, Kozu-kun! Or, wait, you're our rivals? But we're here as cheerleaders, we never specified who we're supposed to cheer for. Oh, whatever! Do your best!" I laugh, before pausing again, furrowing my brows. "Eh? Kuroo-Senpai plays on your team? As in, your friend Kuroo-Senpai?" I ask, tilting my hand as Kozu's eyes look over my shoulder. "You know pudding head huh? But how do you know my name?" I recognize the voice from earlier, the one that makes me tingle all over.
"Yeah, this is Kimi-chan, she's that one friend I play with all the time." Kozu says, gesturing to me as I slowly turn around, looking up at Kuroo. "Well, if it isn't Tiny Dancer. I thought I recognized you from somewhere." Kuroo says, grinning down at me as I look back at Kozu, confused. "Wait, what?" I ask, Kozu shrugging his shoulders. "I showed him some of the videos you sent me. Well, he made me show him, he thinks you're cute." Kozu says, making my cheeks burn as I look back up at Kuroo, surprised. "You look way better in real life." Kuroo says, settling his hands onto his hips as I feel my face burn up. "Y-you! I told you not to call me Tiny Dancer!" I stammer, shaking my head as I try to get the blush to go away. Kuroo points at me, his eyes roaming all over me. "Sure, you're average size, but…." Kuroo says, turning his finger to point at himself. "I'm big, so that makes you tiny to me." Kuroo says, making me purse my lips as I look over him. He was pretty big, I mean, he was almost as tall as Kei, but instead of lanky and thin, he was well built. "Bite me." I snap, meeting his gaze as I glare at him slightly, now knowing who he was; my greatest enemy on video games.
