I spread my legs doing the splits, reaching up and catching the volleyball as it flies over my head. The boys from Karasuno, the ones who lost the ball, stare blankly in amazement as I naturally slide back up, not even bothered by doing the splits so suddenly. They start whistling and hooting, making me smile as I prepare myself to give them something they're more familiar with. I get into position, tossing the ball into the air, running forward, jumping high, stretching my body like a butterfly. My hand slams into the volleyball, my whole body curling with the force I put into it, sending it slicing through the air with a crack. It slams right into Noya's waiting arms, knocking him off balance but bouncing right off for Suga to catch. "Damn girl! Where the heck did you learn that!" Aima gasps, watching my perfect landing. "I have my secrets." I laugh, walking over and grabbing my phone, searching for a new song to play. "Nice serve!" Daichi finally calls, out of the shock I had placed them in. "Thank you!" I call back, the boys all echoing the praise as I feel my cheeks begin to burn. "That was awesome. What even was that?" Aima asks as I press play on the next song.
"It's my serve, I call it the butterfly effect." I say, setting my phone down and stepping back, beginning to dance again. Kuroo had a raging boner. He had been receiving a serve when he heard someone call a warning, and his eyes automatically looked over at her, the Tiny Dancer. She did the splits, caught the ball, and slid up like it was nothing. And then she served the ball, which was absolutely incredible, sending it flying across the court, into the waiting arms of the libero. Like it was nothing. She just went right back to doing her own thing, being the Tiny Dancer she was. He had totally failed the receive, it had bounced right off his left arm, out of bounds. He had been too busy staring, fascinated with the Tiny Dancer and her perfect spike. She was so perfect, so irresistible, so... undeniably attractive. She hated him and he loved it, it made her a challenge, and he was going to win. He wanted to receive her serve, to see her stretch out like she did, watch her spread her angelic wings. He would purposely fail to receive of course, so she would do it all over again. Kuroo wondered what else she could do with a volleyball. "Kuroo." Kozu calls, bringing him from his thoughts.
Kuroo tears his eyes away from her, looking at the brain of Nekoma, who was looking at their current opponents. "You're staring. Make her stare instead." Kozu says, and that sounded like a really good idea. So Kuroo would do that; he'd do it all during the camps, trying to catch her eye. He could stare at her between their games all he wanted. His grin slid back on his face, getting into position as he felt his blood pumping through his body. Watch me, Tiny Dancer. I panted for air, walking over to my bag and wiping the sweat from my brow using my towel. "Okay! Team stretch, you go first." Aima says, gesturing for me to sit as I do, stretching out with her help. "Everyone is in the zone! It's scary how well they work together." Aima says, drawing my attention to the boys. They were diving on the floor, having lost another set to an opposing team. "Yeah, Hina-Kun and Yama-Kun have a really nice quick spike. It's not always going to be that easy though." I say, spreading my legs open and leaning down, stretching those muscles. A sickening smack and thud caught my attention, turning my eyes over to Kozu's team, seeing Kuroo had just blocked a spike.
