"You could just run?" Misaki offers and I exhale slowly. "Yeah, he runs faster and if he did this…" I say, raising an eyebrow at the girls as they giggle. "Maybe that isn't a bad thing! I mean, why do you hate him so much anyway?" Aima asks, and I just shake my head. "He's so infuriating, he just makes my blood boil all the time! He drives me insane!" I exclaim, shaking my head and scowling at the counter. "Maybe you're so irritated because you're so attracted to him?" Aima says and I give her a look of pure disbelief. "I mean, you see fury, I see chemistry." She says, shrugging her shoulders as I just stare at her like she's crazy. "Um, should I take you to an insane asylum? Get your head checked maybe?" I ask, glancing at Misaki for backup. "Well, Kimiko, I agree honestly. But Aima, I don't think Kimiko can tell, being so inexperienced and all. This might call for some… divine intervention." Misaki says, the two of them giggling as I stare at them both in disbelief. "The fuck is wrong with you two?" I whisper, shaking my head as Misaki puts her makeup away. "That's as good as I'm getting it!" She says, offering me her compact mirror just as Kiyoko steps into the bathroom.
"The boys were worried because they heard screaming. What the hell happened to your neck?" She asks, looking genuinely concerned as I take a deep breath. "I'm going to kill him. I'm really going to. Misaki, Aima, consider this my confession." I say, setting down the compact without even bothering to look at the monstrosity as I run for the door. "No no no! Kimiko! Breath!" Aima and Misaki speaking in unison, both of them grabbing me as I just let my head fall back, glaring at the ceiling. "Oh, boy problems. I'll go get my makeup, you guys hold down the fort till I get back and we'll have a girl talk." Kiyoko says, stepping out of the bathroom without another word. "Please? I'll be in and out, book me a flight to Canada, as soon as possible. I'll be on a plane out of the country before you can say hopscotch." I beg, both of them laughing as they settle me back on the counter. "No, Kimiko, you can't kill him. If he really truly deserved it, we'd be standing right beside you with a bag and a knife." Aima says, and I cross my arms, scowling at them. "Don't I get a one time pass?" I mumbles both of them laughing at me. "Save it for something else, trust me." Aima laughs as she shakes her head.
"Besides, that's when someone has wronged you unjustly three times." Misaki says, brushing my hair off my shoulder so it's out of the way. "Oh! It's been three times! See, one… two…" I say happily, pointing at my hickey's before flipping them the bird. "Three!" I say, smiling at them both as they laugh hysterically at me. "You're so fucking sassy when you're upset, Kimiko, it's adorable! I can see why he is always teasing you!" Aima says, though I just roll my eyes and just run a hand over my face. "Whatever. I can't make it go away, so I guess I'll just have to cut it and deal." I mumble, finally picking up the compact mirror and looking at the disaster that was my neck. I scrunch my nose at it, letting out a frustrated sigh as Kiyoko steps in the bathroom with Hitoka, her assistant, in tow. "Holy cow! What happened to your neck?" Hitoka asks, furrowing her brows as I look at Aima. "Come on, Aima, just this once. Lemme kill him, and I'll do whatever you want. Do I need to get on my hands on my knees?" I beg, though she just rolls her eyes at me. "As tempting as it is, I'm gonna have to say no on this one. I want to see it play out." Aima says, patting my shoulder and giving me a pitiful smile.
