Author's Note: Thanks for the support everyone, I am nearly recovered, no longer have gastric reflux, spent time playing some games and watching nature documentaries to relax. I'm going to write some of my other stories after this chapter, please don't expect an update like three days later for this story, haha.

Here's the Q&A:

Can Ainz create new clans with consumable items?

As explained in Ainz's throughout the story, while he does have quite the collection, there is no method he has for long-term sustainability as he doesn't have access to Nazarick NPCs with Crafting Job Classes. Clans in Naruto seem to be one of two reasons for their creation: A Bloodline Limit or Closely-Guarded Techniques. So no, not with items he can't.

What about with his spells? Can he create clans then?

Possibly. While a majority of Tier Magic follows the rules of YGGDRASIL even in the New World, there are cases where it differs. How it will interact with chakra is left for debate, but it might be possible to create Bloodline Limits with certain methods. But not with any racial-changing items, as any 'Naruto Character' that used such an item will become a 'Overlord Character'. They would instead function like a New Worlder rather than a Naruto Worlder.

Ainz should stay loyal to Shizuka/Ainz should get a harem/Ainz should stay alone.

The circumstances of Ainz's relationship with Shizuka is a key aspect in this story that shall be explored over the course of it. At the moment, Ainz and Shizuka's relationship is purely political, there is no love between them. Ainz will not have a harem, though he may have admirers.

The Overlord of Nadeshiko

Chapter 11

Throughout human history, people had always been fascinated with flight, leading to many trial and error inventions that eventually accumulated in the first flying blimps and machines. At least, this was how it was on Earth, though Tanya believed that same fascination still remained even in this ninja-dominated world. However, the technological level so far known was a mix-match of different innovations, undoubtedly caused by the presence of chakra as an energy source, which made the exploration of electricity lag behind.

That's not to say electrical infrastructure wasn't present in Nadeshiko Village, but it wasn't readily available for the whole village, reserved for use in public buildings or the rich. Nadeshiko didn't have the capability to generate electricity for everyone, so certain buildings received priority.

But that was beside the main point, that being the problem of chakra.

There was no known natural way to generate chakra for civil use, it was a finite resource tied to living organisms, which each have their individual limit for how much chakra they could have and 'regenerate' at a time. As far as Tanya knew, they couldn't generate chakra like they could electricity, and without a measure to reliably generate and store it, it couldn't be used to easily fuel machines. This problem, combined with the necessity to mold and shape chakra to perform actions, made it difficult to innovate due to issues in chakra control.

Now, there were items that used fuinjutsu, which remained one of the few ways to give chakra instructions. However, practitioners of fuinjutsu were rare, along with any detailed instructions beyond those commonly known.

A fault of the ninja way to keep secrets, it made such knowledge closely kept.

While the ninja world wasn't stuck in stagnation, it was slowed considerably, especially with all the constant warfare.

The ability to fly had crossed Tanya's mind quite a few times, but unfortunately, none of the teachers in Nadeshiko knew how to accomplish such a feat. There were rumors that the Kage of the Hidden Stone knew how to fly, but even if by some miracle he willingly spread the knowledge of the technique, Tanya's large reserves made chakra control a difficult task.

Then all Lord Ainz did was say [Mass Fly] and he along with all the genin around him started to float.

And it wasn't hard to master controls either, the moment it was applied on Tanya, she just knew how the effect worked and how to fly while it was applied.

"This is amazing!" Fusae commenter.

Amazing was an understatement, Tanya thought.

There were so many tactical implications that flight provided. And Lord Ainz had the capability to make his jutsu affect multiple people simultaneously, the degree of chakra control and reserves to pull that off indicated a highly experienced and trained individual. She knew that due to the cultural law, Lord Ainz would be more powerful than Lady Shizuka, the village leader and strongest kunoichi of Nadeshiko.

How strong were leaders to do this?

She'd read about feats in history, but Nadeshiko's books were lacking. It sounded absurd what the older ninja could accomplish.

But there was always some measure of truth.

"We're going to approach, if you sense danger to yourself retreat to a safer distance," Lord Ainz said. "It may look intimidating, but the creature seems docile right now… Mhm, the boy might be the cause?" He finished.

The boy from the boat before? Lord Ainz can truly see through this fog cover?

"Lord Ainz," Tanya interjected. "We can ambush them from the sky." She wanted to exploit their aerial advantage.

"While that may be, we lack sufficient information. Besides, I don't think the enemy's control will hold," He replied, and on cue, the pillar of energy which had been visible for the genin due to its towering size vanished. "Let us observe, the fog is beginning to fade- Get behind me!"

Without hesitation, Tanya and the others grouped behind Ainz.

"[Shield Wall]!" He shouted and Tanya spotted for the briefest second a translucent barrier form in front of Lord Ainz, just in time to block a large pressurized bullet of water that impacted against it.

"I think that was from that giant turtle!" Uraku keenly pointed out. The mist faded to reveal a rampaging turtle kaiju with its focus directed at their group rather than the nearby boat that was pushed away by the waves made by its movements.

"So it's chosen to focus on the larger threat?" Ainz questioned. "Alright, you four, track down the boat and the boy on it, he seems important for this operation. Use the [Invisibility] scrolls, the rogue ninja of the group seems to have abandoned his allies so the danger level is lessened. Still, the woman is present, but the scrolls should keep you concealed if you stay silent," He ordered.

Did he see what occurred on the boat earlier?

Well, orders were orders, and it wasn't to engage directly, rather a stealth operation. Which was far more acceptable for Tanya than engaging a Gamera-reject kaiju.

Tanya reached into her weapon pouch and pulled out the scroll, "As you command, [Invisibility]." She tossed the scroll lightly into the air and it unfurled, burnt into a crisp with a flash of blue flame, and Tanya, along with the others who followed suit, vanished unseen to the eye.

With the genin out of the way, Ainz directed his attention back to the boss monster below. He originally planned only on observation, but his curiosity as to how Tier Magic could face against a chakra-using monster was an opportunity he sought for a while. Since the assassination attempt never occurred at Nadeshiko, he'd lack a good moment of practice to experiment. A defensive-type creature such as the kaiju-sized turtle below was practically presenting itself as a decent experimental target.

Of course, he couldn't just focus entirely on the boss, the faction responsible for its appearance likely desired it as well. And since they purposely sought it out, they would have the means to deal with the creature. The crystal pillars surrounding the massive turtle didn't hold it for long, but during the moment where the boy was exerting chakra, it was pacified.

A taming attempt perhaps? There were Job Classes that sought out promising mobs to tame and add to their arsenal of combat additions.

It had interested him, which is why he sent the genin to pursue and learn about the boy. And since the only identifiable Bingo Book target had fled the scene with high-speed movement at the boss's rampage, a skill that was typical of the [Ninja] Job Class, that left the less dangerous opponents.

Concerning the rampaging boss…

Its attention had targeted Ainz rather quickly after the presumed taming attempt failed. In games, monsters would normally target lower-level players, weak players tend to generate aggro which could be mitigated by higher-level tanks if actively done. Ainz, however, did not have any aggro-inducing abilities, the guild's primary crowd control fell on players like Bukubukuchagama.

But considering that this was a real living animal, perhaps it just identified him as the greater threat. Blue Planet did comment on how animals can sense danger.

"[Life Essence]," Ainz used a buff that allowed him to see the health value of opponents. "Peculiar, it appears to have a lot of health, but the spell seems to vary. Is it because of chakra? No matter, I'll put it about the health of a mid-level raid boss."

The creature roared and fired another bullet of pressured water, Ainz avoided it by dropping from the sky to above the water's surface.

He chuckled briefly, then announced, "Very well, creature! You will serve to satisfy my curiosity, let's see how you fare against Tier Magic!"

The three-tailed monster rushed forward with astonishing speed, displacing the water with its size and movement, causing ripples the size of small tidal waves. It sought to physically tackle Ainz Ooal Gown, which was a correct action to take against a Magic Caster.

Ainz raised a finger towards the incoming opponent, "[Dragon Lightning]!" He casted the 5th Tier spell, as it dealt lightning damage which helped pierce through a target's armor.

A bolt of lightning with the head shape of a serpentine dragon launched out of Ainz's fingertip, electricity conducted by water surged across the lake as it passed over its surface and struck the three-tailed behemoth. The dragon lightning struggled against it head-on, electrocuting it as arcs of energy course throughout the creature's armored exterior.

The spell only lasted the briefest few seconds before it dispersed, having stalled the turtle's movement but not halted it. There were only the slightest singes, an indicator that while it did damage, it was minor.

"As expected, it surely is a mid-level raid-type boss," Ainz felt satisfied by his confirmed hypothesis. "Let's see how much punishment it can take."

Upon reaching Ainz, the massive animal raised its paw and swiped at him with speed rather quick for its size. Still, Ainz avoided it by retreating with [Fly], although he was a level 100 player, a mid-level raid boss was still a raid boss. It could likely damage him, especially considering his vulnerability to bludgeoning-type attacks, though it would be minor due to the level disparity.

"[Triplet Maximize Magic: Fireball]," Ainz directed his hand and three sizable fireballs shot forward in succession, all blasting apart on impact with the boss, dealing the spell's maximum damage output, steam rising from the collision of water with flame that covered the creature's sight of Ainz. "[Body of Effulgent Beryl], [Protection Energy - Water], [Penetrate Maximize Magic: Dragon Lightning]!"

After casting high and low tier defensive spells respectively to defend against the bludgeoning capabilities so-far shown, as water damage tended to also have additional bludgeoning attack strength, another instance of [Dragon Lightning] augmented with metamagic pierced through the steam and lit up the raid boss turtle with a bright blue glow as it electrocuted the monster.

"That's a decent chunk of damage," Ainz commented, observing the boss's status with [Life Essence]. "A bit harder to discern, its health values shift now and then. Is it showing me false information?" It was possible, hiding your HP values with spells like [False Data: Life] was a standard PVP tactic, but he never encountered an NPC with a skill like that.

Suddenly out of the steam, three large tails swung wildly at Ainz's direction in spite of the visual cover. As if it could see clearly through without difficulty.

"[Teleportation]," Ainz vanished from his previous position just as the tails swiped at him. He reappeared a few dozen meters away, a relative safe distance from any melee attacks by the boss monster.

In response, the three-tailed kaiju curled up into a ball and began to spin rapidly with such force that it displaced the water entirely and began to dig into the earth below, the displaced water attempted to fill the hole, forming a sort of whirlpool.

"Oh? I didn't expect a turtle to have such a skill," He commented. "If you attempt to flee by digging, then I'll prevent- Huh!?"

Unexpectedly, the turtle launched itself like a catapult, becoming its own spinning projectile coming right at Ainz Ooal Gown, covering the distance in a matter of seconds.

Ainz quickly cast, "[Widen Magic: Wall of Skeleton]!" In response, a massive fifty-meter long wall erupted out of the lake in front of Ainz, directly in the path of the incoming kaiju projectile. It was a construct of undead creatures of bone, animated and moving despite being meshed together into a defensive structure.

The collision was a spectacle.

As the creature struck against [Wall of Skeleton], bones shattered and flew apart, yet it held and stopped the momentum. It continued to spin, shredding apart the skeletons, who attempted to claw and grasp at it continuously, but before long the turtle's spinning came to a complete stop, unsuccessful in its attempt to breach pass the defensive spell.

Ainz decided he had enough experimenting for now, "[Maximize Magic: Call Greater Thunder]," He used one of his favorite 9th Tier Spells, a key signature spell for an [Overlord Wiseman] summon. A brilliant magic circle formed in front of his hand and in the sky, multiple strands of lightning formed and accumulated together into a great thunderbolt that came down upon the three-tailed animal.

The beast stilled as its body smoldered from its injuries, Ainz knew it still lived, but the damage it took so far seems to have stopped any further hostilities. He wondered what kind of loot it would drop on killing it, would it respawn afterward though? This wasn't a game where animals just returned after a set period of time.

As Ainz wondered what to do with his defeated opponent, the indicating sound of [Message] drew his attention. He raised a hand to his head, "Yes? Who is this?"

Jonin Kluke's voice spoke, ["Lord Ainz, I have received key information related to the issues at hand."]

"Go ahead, I have managed to defeat the beast," Ainz replied.

["Y-you defeated it? Lord Ainz defeated the Three-Tails?"] Kluke sounded amazed.

Ainz was confused, he understood it was a mid-level raid boss, but it was still mid-level, it wasn't castmuch of an accomplishment to solo it. It was honestly easier than Ainz expected it to be.

"The Three-Tails is it?" He responded, thinking it was a rather simple name. "Yes, it is subdued, though it may recover in a few hours," He admitted, eyeing the boss's health. While it did vary in values, it appears to be regenerating its hit points over time.

Kluke trailed off a bit in awe, ["So this is the strongest in Nadeshiko… Ah, ahem,"] She cleared her throat audibly. ["The Three-Tails is one of nine Tailed Beasts, it's impossible to truly kill, so we need to seal it. The team from Konoha has offered to seal it in its abode temporarily, but they'll need to call reinforcements."]

"Deny them," Ainz ordered, he didn't want to give a foreign faction access to a rare boss monster if only nine existed. Though he wouldn't frame it that way, "Inform them that they are overstepping their boundaries in the Land of Water as ninja from the Land of Fire. They are to leave immediately, their target, Kabuto, has already fled the region."

Of course, Ainz did not truly know if the rogue ninja had left the region entirely, but Kabuto had fled the scene of the Three-Tails during its initial rampage.

["As you command."] Kluke replied, ending the [Message].

Satoru glanced back down at the Three-Tails, unable to be killed? From Kluke's reaction, while it was astonishing to defeat it, it must not have been unheard of, as she seemed certain it couldn't be truly killed. Did that mean it respawned after killing it? Or was it rather resurrection rather than respawning?

He was curious to see but was unsure as to the length of time it required to respawn if it were the case.

On the other hand, information from the Leaf Ninja spoke means to seal it. Which provided two notes, that sealing was possible for the 'Chakra Ninja' Job Class, and that it could be sealed away.

The capability to seal an entity was rare in YGGDRASIL. While there were many ways to store Tier Magic into items, such as [Sealing Crystals], or create items that cast spells, like with scrolls, the ability to entrap something was much more difficult. A summoning item did not bring forth an entity trapped within, rather just summoned them similarly in a way to Tier Magic equivalents.

That didn't mean it was unknown.

A World-Class Item, [Depiction of Nature and Society], could seal away an untold number of entities into its false dimension within a certain radius. They could be trapped in the World Item for an indefinite period of time if unable to find the single exit. This had been used against the Guild of Ainz Ooal Gown, they had been trapped into the World Item.

It had been a difficult challenge, but on their successful escape, [Depiction of Nature and Society] ownership went to the guild.

Unfortunately, like with most, such an item had vanished along with Nazarick.

That really hurt.

His emotional dampener eased the mental pain of such a loss.

No, there was still the possibility that somewhere out there, Nazarick and his friends might exist. All the hard work they put together might not have been for naught.

"Sealing, hm," Ainz thought about it, but the taming seemed more possible given the boy, maybe if the genin team were successful he could do something with the Three-Tails, perhaps make it an asset for Nadeshiko?

Of course, there were a few other ways, but he doubted they would work on a boss creature.

The Three-Tails started to move again, but Ainz Ooal Gown directed his open hand towards it, "[Extend Penetrate Boosted Magic: Paralysis]." He cast this Tier Spell to limit its movement, enhancing it with metamagic to extend its duration, penetrate through innate resistances, and boost its capability to 10th Tier Magic.

That should keep it here for now, [Wall of Skeleton] had expired and dispersed into nothingness. The debuff should prevent it from venturing off or attacking anything.

"[Create Low Tier Undead: Bone Vulture]," He continued to create a dozen [Bone Vulture] out of blue magic circles that appeared in response, these zombie-like birds had exposed rib cages and old worn features. They began to circle the Three-Tails, guarding it against any would-be individuals that would try to use its paralyzed state to their advantage while Ainz was away.

This also marked his final use for the low tier skill for the day, he would not be able to create anymore free low tier undead for another twenty-four hours. At least with the skill anyway; he could still create more with Tier Magic spells by expending MP.

"Now, let's see how my genin team is doing, [Perfect Unknowable]."

With that, Ainz Ooal Gown turned invisible to human perception.
