"She finally gave in to the chance that my dad's side of the family would help. She reached out to my uncle, and once he heard, he came up with an opportunity. We made our arrangements and moved to Japan with him, and he'd take my son as his own. I could see him, be there for him, raise him- I could tell him he was mine when I was ready, and they'd never tell him anything about me being his mom. Every day I am grateful for my uncle, he saved my son, and he raised him alongside his own son, true to his word, like he was his own. It was all so touch and go…" I say, looking at my finger as I remember feeling Nen wrap his fingers around mine. "I regret nothing. Nen is everything, absolutely everything to me. That is the bottom line, and I will do what I need to do to make sure my son is safe and happy." I say firmly, clenching my fist and lifting up to the light. "I will fly." I whisper, feeling determined. "I've waited far too long to stretch my wings, and I will set the path ablaze until there's a road that leads to a happy ending for us." I say, taking a deep breath and letting out a determined yell that makes the boys jump. "Nen! Mommy's got this!" I yell as tears gather in my eyes.

"You set the path, and we'll pave it for you." Daichi says, smiling at me as he gives me a fist bump. "And we'll keep you in the air." Kozu says, gently squeezing my hand. "And keep you safe from anyone who tries to get in your way." Kuroo says, laying his head on my shoulder as I laugh at them all. "Thank you! Please, take care of me!" I say, before I realize I had to thoroughly apologize to Aima. "Shit! I gotta go hunt down Aima!" I gasp, sliding from all the boys as I bow extra low to them all. "I'm sorry you had to deal with me, but… It really means a lot to me! I appreciate you all and everything you've done for me!" I say, dashing out the door to hunt Aima down. "Fuck. She's so…" Kuroo says, running a hand through his hair. "I'm hooked on her." Daichi sighs, running a hand through his hair. "Get in line, then." Kozu finally pipes up, shocking Kuroo as he stares at his friend. "I'm not backing down, Kozu." Kuroo says, meaning every word he said. "I expect nothing less when it comes to Kimiko. I won't hold it against you though, because I'm the same way." Kozu says, making Kuroo grin as he nods. "Don't forget me." Daichi chuckles, crossing his arms.

"I'm back! God, I couldn't find the disk in the room, and the gym was locked and the teachers were out drinking." Misaki says, making all three of the boys jump as she looks over the room. "Okay, what'd I miss?" Misaki asks, letting her hands fall back to her sides. "AIMA!" I scream as I smack into her back, almost knocking her over. "Fuck! What the hell!" Aima gasps as she turns around. "I'm so sorry Aima! You're right- I'm an idiot! I get it now, okay! I'm going to spread my wings, and I'm going to fly, and I'm going to show everyone that I can live! And- and I'm going to tell Nen that I'm his mom! So please, bear with me for a little longer?" I ask, panting for air as Aima slowly peels me off of her, slowly turning back to me and pouting her lip. "You're the bestest friend I could ever ask for, Aima! You're always there for me, supporting me no matter what! I don't think I could make it without you, and I'm sorry I've been dragging my feet, but, please! I need you! I'm sorry! I love you!" I yell at her, panting as I feel my cheeks burn, bending at the waist. "Okay, okay! Stand up, I'll forgive you if you owe me five favors, anything I want!" Aima says and I nod furiously, making her smile.
