Hello and welcome to another chapter of Kingdom Hearts RWBY. Before we start, a guest reader had asked about Rhexia's name. Honestly, I put the word Sapphire through a name generator and added an X. Rhexia was the name that stuck out to me. I just couldn't think of a good name for my main OC to have so that her Nobody could follow Xemnas' name rule. Now, let's get to it.

As usual, I own nothing.

(Flashback)

Sapphire didn't know what to think. It started off with her going to visit her mothers grave to clear her head. Only to find somone in a black hood already there. Sapphire then followed this person into a portal in the hopes of learning more about her mother from the hooded individual. Only, when Sapphire made it to the other side of the portal, she noticed that the person in the hood was nowhere to be found. She had also noticed that she wasn't in Patch anymore. But a town instead.

Wanting to find answers, Sapphire questioned the owner of a store. He introduced himself as Cid. When Sapphire told Cid about the events leading to her arrival in town, Cid gave her news that shocked the young girl to her core. She wasn't on her world anymore. Somehow, Sapphire had crossed into another world called Traverse Town. Not only that, but Cid had told her that Remnant wasn't the only world out there.

Unfortunately, Cid was too busy to give Sapphire more info about her current problem. But he did point her in the right direction. Cid had told the young Rose that a man named Leon would be able to help. So, Sapphire went to look for him. Along the way, Sapphire had met a boy named Sora. To her shock, Sapphire discovered that the boy was from another world as well. Sapphire told Sora that Leon might be able to help the two get some answers. And so the two off-worlder's decided to stick together.

The two had searched everywhere for Leon. Only to find strange black creatures that were not only familiar to Sapphire, but Sora as well. Luckily, Sapphire had brought her weapon with her to help Sora fight. A blue copy of the weapon her twin sister had made called Blue Rose. Sora was put off by the fact that a little girl was walking around with a giant scythe-gun. But after seeing how effective she was with it, who was he to complain?

The two off-worlder's had returned to the first district to rest up when they had finally encountered Leon. Leon had called the weapon Sora used a Keyblade and tried to take it from him. This led to a fight. One where Sora lost. Sapphire had joined in to help her new friend, but even with her help, Leon was too strong. In the end, Sora was knocked out and disarmed with Sapphire not far behind him.

Just before Leon could grab the Keyblade, something happened that shocked him. Sapphire had gotten in front of Sora to protect him. Even though she was barely conscious. But what shocked Leon was that Sapphire was pointing Sora's Keyblade at him. Sapphire managed to stay on her feet for a few seconds before passing out. The last thing she saw was Leon and a girl she never met coming towards her.

When she came to, Sapphire had realized that she an Sora where in a hotel and that Leon and his friend, who they found out was called Yuffie, brought them there. Leon and Yuffie told Sapphire and Sora about the existence of other worlds. They also told them about the Keyblade. A legendary weapon that chooses its wielder. But with great power comes enemies.

The Heartless. Beings of darkness that seek hearts. The Heartless fear the Keyblade, but also desire the hearts of the wielder. During the conversation, Leon had been looking at Sapphire intensely. Especially when he explained that the girl was able to hold on to Sora's Keyblade without it disappearing on her.

When Sora asked about his home, Sapphire was reminded of her own world. The girl had told Leon and Yuffie how she wound up in Traverse Town. Sadly, neither knew exactly what happened to Sora's world. Or how Sapphire could get back to her's.

Before they could continue their conversation, the Heartless had appeared. Leon had went of to protect the townspeople with Yuffie's help. But not before telling Sora to find the leader of the Heartless. Wanting to help her friend, Sapphire went along with Sora and helped him fight the Heartless.

When they arrived in the third district, Sora and Sapphire met a talking anthropomorphic duck and dog. Their names where Donald and Goofy. The two had literally dropped in on them. What was strange was that the two talking animals were looking for Sora. Or more specifically his Keyblade. Before they could ask questions, the four were ambushed by Heartless. The rag-tag team actually worked pretty well together. With Donald's magic spells, Goofy's shield, Sora's swordsmanship and Sapphires Semblance along with her weapon. The girls Aura had made it so that Donald didn't need to heal Sapphire. The four had made quick work of the Heartless. But that's when everything went sideways.

A giant suit of armor with the Heartless' symbol had appeared. The leader of this attack. A Guard Armor. During the fight, Sapphire had dove in front of Sora to defend him from an attack. When the Heartless' fist slammed down on her, the attack had almost broken Sapphires Blue Rose. Along with taking some of her Aura.

"It's too strong." Sapphire says.

Sapphire looks around her. She sees her new friend and the ones who helped her struggling to get up. She then looks back at the Guard Armor Heartless.

"There has to be something I can do." Sapphire thinks.

Sapphire looks at her weapon and notices cracks running through out it. She then grips it before looking back at the Heartless.

"Am I...gonna die?" Sapphire thinks. She then looks down before closing her eyes. Tears then begin to form. "Someone...please. Dad. Ruby. Yang. Uncle Qrow. ...Mom!"

The Heartless rears back it's fist before launching it forward.

"Use the Keyblade!"

Sapphire opens her eyes in surprise. She then looks around for the source of the voice.

"You have everything you need. Trust yourself. Trust your heart."

"My...heart?" Sapphire thinks in confusion while unknowingly placing her hand above her heart.

Sapphire looks at the approaching fist. She then gains a determined look as she grabs her weapon. She then charges the Heartless' fist with a yell. Ignoring all the shouts of concern for her from her friends.

Sapphire uses all the strength she has to knock the fist away from her. The force of the impact makes Sapphie lose her grip on Blue Rose. Just before the weapon can get too far away from her, Sapphire manages to catch it with her left hand. Just in time to see the Heartless' other fist approaching her. Upon seeing the fist, Sapphire begins to see a faint light shining in her right hand. Trusting whatever feeling she was getting from it, Sapphire swings her right hand at the fist. On impact a bright light shines as the Heartless is repelled. Sora, Donald and Goofy flinch at the lights intensity. As the light dies down, Sora, Donald and Goof are shocked to see Sapphire holding a Keyblade!

The Guard Armor pauses for a moment before attacking Sapphire with both of it's fist. Sapphire response by guarding with both of her weapons. On impact, Sapphire is slightly pushed back before sending the Heartless' attack back. Sapphire then takes a moment to take a deep breath. Her eyes shadowed by her hair. She then looks up at the Heartless with a glare as her eyes shine briefly.

Sapphire then starts to attack the Heartless while dual wielding both her weapons. She slashes to the right before slashing upwards. Using her momentum, Sapphire spins before slashing the Heartless again before reaching the ground. She then lunges at the Heartless and slashes upward with both weapons. Sapphire then crosses Blue Rose with her Keyblade before bringing both weapons down on the Heartless.

The Guard Armor doesn't take the attacks lining down and sends a jab at Sapphire. Sapphire is unable to guard against the sudden attack and is sent flying backwards a little. Thankfully, her Aura took some of the damage The young Rose digs in her heels and lunges at the Heartless again. It soon becomes an exchange of attacks as Sapphire and the Guard Armor relentlessly attack one another. Sapphire manages to destroy the Heartless' feet. The Heartless then attacks with it's fist and Sapphire responds with her Blue Rose. As the two clash, Sapphire destroys the Armor right fist. But at the cost of her weapon shattering.

Sora, Donlad and Goofy watch the fight with awed expressions. As do Leon, Yuffie and a girl by the name of Aerith, who showed up sometime during the fight.

The Guard Armor rears back it's remaining fist and launches it at Sapphire. The girl smacks the fist away. Destroying it in the process. With it's limbs gone, Sapphire lunges at the Heartless with a yell. She slashes the Heartless right at it's emblem. The Heartless shakes before it's head falls to the ground. A crystal-like heart then rises out of the Guard Armors torso before vanishing. With it's power source gone, the Heartless vanishes as well.

All is quiet at Sapphire takes a few breaths. Her adrenaline wearing off. "It's...over?" Sapphire stumbles back before falling backwards from exhaustion. Sora and the other rush to Sapphire as the girl in question faints with a goofy grin on her face. Her Keyblade vanishing as she hits the ground. Before she loses consciousness, Sapphire hears the voice that guided her one last time.

"You did good...Sapph."

(Flashback end)

The Emerald Forest. It's unknown how many types of Grimm live within the forest. Some Grimm have existed for many years living in caves. And it is here where Beacon's newest students will go through the initiation process for entering the academy.

However, this years initiation will be unlike the others. Unknown to the students or even Beacon's staff, a unknown figure walks throughout the forest tonight. The local Grimm had attacked this person who dared to enter their domain. Each one had perished. Even so, the Grimm were relentless. They wouldn't stop even after the losses they suffered. Why? Because this person radiated so much negativity that the Grimm couldn't resist.

After a few moments, the figure stops walking. The figure then raises their hands into the air. As if summoned by the figure, a black portal appears out of then air. The figure then vanishes in green embers. Just as a few black creatures appears from the portal.

The sun rises on Beacon Academy. Today would be the day that those dreaming to be huntsman or huntresses can prove their worth. One possible student was in the courtyard going through a few drills with her weapon. Sapphire decided to make it a habit to get a morning workout in. Just something to loosen her muscles. She was so engrossed with her workout that she didn't notice someone watching her.

"I didn't think anyone else would be up this early."

Sapphire pauses in her workout and looks to her left. Walking towards her is a tall young woman with red hair in a waist-length ponytail, curled slightly into a loose ringlet. She has light-green eyeshadow around the far upper corners of her green eyes and is quite muscular. Looking at her, Sapphire can't help but think she would fit in with a certain greek hero she knows based on her outfit.

"Sorry about interrupting you." The redhead says. "Your style is very unique. I found myself entranced."

"Oh. Thank you." Sapphire says while rubbing the back of her head. "I thought I'd loosen myself up before the initiation."

"I see." The woman says.

"Your one of the new student right?" Sapphire asked. "I'm Sapphire Rose."

"...I'm...Pyrrha Nikos." The readhead says hesitantly. "Here it comes."

"Nice to meet you Pyrrha." Sapphire says with a smile.

Pyrrha looks at Sapphire in shock. "She doesn't know me?"

Sapphire tilts her head in confusion. "Are you okay?"

"O-oh! Yes. I'm sorry." Pyrrha says. She then smiles. "She doesn't know who I am! Finally!"

"So, excited for the initiation?" Sapphire asked.

"Yes. I've been looking forward to it." Pyrrha says.

"I wonder what the test is." Sapphire says. "I heard we're suppose to be put on teams. Guess the test will determine our partners."

"I heard about that as well." Pyrrha says. "Anyone in particular you're hoping to have as a partner?"

"Well, my sisters actually." Sapphire says. "I'm hoping I can reconnect with them again after so long."

Pyrrha raises an eyebrow. "Reconnect?"

Sapphires eyes widen at her slip up. "O-oh! I was in a special program to study. I had to be away for three years because of it."

"Three years?" Pyrrha asked with wide eyes. "But you're-"

"Fifteen?" Sapphire asked. "Well, let's just say my master saw something special in me."

"Does it have to do with your weapon?" Pyrrha asked while looking at said weapon. "I've never seen anything like it."

Sapphire looks at her Keyblade. "Yeah... Something like that." Sapphire then shakes her head. "Well, I should go wake my sisters up. It was nice meeting you Pyrrha."

Sapphire walks away. But not before hearing Pyrrha's last words too her. "It was nice meeting you too Sapphire." Pyrrha watches Sapphire leave with a smile on her face "I think I might've just made my first friend here."

Back in the ballroom, the new initiatives were just waking up. Although some needed...help.

"Wake up, lazy butt!" Nora says.

Ren gets up with a groan as Nora hounds him.

"~It's morning! It's morning! It's morning! It's morning!~" Nora sings.

Throughout the whole morning, Nora kept talking to her friend.

In the bathroom.

"I can't believe we've been at Beacon for a full twenty-four hours!" Nora says. "Not that I thought we'd get kicked out or anything, I mean, you're the perfect student and I'm... well, I'm me! But it's just crazy, you know?"

"Why is there a girl in the boys room?!" A boy says.

Back in the ballroom, Nora continues to talk while brushing her hair. Ren is tightening the strings on his sleeping bag.

"We've been friends for soooooooo long! What are the odds we'd still be together?" Nora asked. "Well, not "together-together..." Not that I'm not saying that you're not handsome. You are handsome, but that'd just be weird, right?"

In the cafeteria.

"Right! What was I thinking? But still, I hope we end up on the same team together!" Nora says with a pancake in her mouth. She then slurps it up while Ren is busy cutting his food. "Oohhhh! We should come up with some sort of plan, to make sure we end up on the same team together! What if we bribe the headmaster? No, that won't work. He has the school."

The locker room.

"I know! We'll have some sort of signal! Like a distress signal!" Nora says. She then gasps. "A secret signal so we can find each other in the forest! Can you imitate a sloth?"

"Nora?" Ren says while grabbing his weapons.

"Yes Ren?" Nora replies.

Ren sheaths his weapons in his sleeves. "I don't think sloths make a lot of noise."

"...That's why it's perfect! No one will suspect we're working together!" Nora says after taking a brief pause.

Ren smiles before shutting his locker. "Come on Nora, let's go."

"Not "together-together..." Nora says with a giggle.

Ren heads out while a skipping Nora follows. Passing Ruby and her sisters as they are busy readying themselves.

"Wonder what those two are so worked up about?" Ruby asked.

"Who knows?" Yang says.

"From what I've seen, Nora's very excitable." Sapphire says.

Sapphire reaches into her locker and summons her Keyblade. Sapphire and Rhexia had decided on making it look like their weapons were in their lockers. That way, no one would ask any questions. Ruby had even given them the idea of keeping Dust in their pockets for when the two wielders use their elemental attacks.

"Gotta wonder how her friend puts up with her." Rhexia says. "Guess they've been friends for a long time."

Rhexia reaches into her locker and summons her Keyblade. The two wielders then enchant their Keyblades to make them stay in place on their belts.

"Maybe." Yang says. So Ruby, you seem awfully chipper this morning!

"Yep! No more awkward small talk or "getting-to-know-you" stuff." Ruby says while stroking Crescent Rose. She then sighs happily. "Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking."

"Well, remember, Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation." Yang says. "If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together."

Ruby sighs in frustration. "You sound like Dad!" Ruby shoves her weapon into the locker. "Okay, first of all: What does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly: I don't need people to help me grow up! I drink milk!"

"Sapph's still bigger then you." Yang says with a deadpan.

"Would you drop that?!" The twins exclaim.

"Yang's right though Ruby." Rhexia says. "What about when we form teams?"

"Um, I don't know, I... I'll just be on your team or something..." Ruby says nervously. "I'm actually hoping we'll all be on the same team."

Yang brings her hair around her shoulder and strokes it. "Maybe you should try being on someone else's team?"

Before Ruby can reply, Sapphire beats her to the punch.

"Sis, we've been apart for THREE YEARS." Sapphire says. "You really think we should be on different teams?"

Ruby looks at her twin with a smile. She then looks back at Yang. "See? Sapphire get's why we should all stay together."

"I'm not saying that exactly." Sapphire says.

"Huh?" Ruby says in confusion.

"I'm saying that I would like us to be on the same team." Sapphire says. "But if we do end up on different teams, we should try to make the most of it. I mean, it's not like we won't still see each other."

"Like what Leon said?" Rhexia asked with a slight smirk.

"Right." Sapphire says. She then puts two fingers to her face while striking a pose. "We may never meet again, but we'll never forget each other."

Ruby and Yang pause...before Yang burst out laughing. "Oh my gods, that's so cheesy!" Yang straightens herself up. "Anyway Rubes, I'd like all of us to be on the same team too. But being on different teams might help you...break out of your shell."

"What the-?! I don't need to 'break out of my shell'!" Ruby exclaims. "That's absolutely-"

"Ridiculous!"

The girls turn to see Jaune as he walks in between them holding a map and looking lost.

"There's no way I put my gear in locker 636 yesterday! I would've remembered having to count that high! Why does this have to happen today?" Jaune says with a sigh.

"I'm gonna go help Jaune." Sapphire says. "Seeya in a bit. Hey Jaune! Wait up!"

Sapphire jogs to Jaune. Unknowingly passing Weiss and Pyrrha.

"So, Pyrrha, have you given any thought to whose team you'd like to be on?" Weiss asked. "I'm sure everyone must be eager to unite with such a strong, well-known individual such as yourself!"

"Hmm... I'm not quite sure. I was planning on letting the chips fall where they may." Pyrrha says.

"Well... I was thinking maybe we could be on a team together." Weiss says.

Pyrrha knew why Weiss was asking her. Still, Pyrrha wanted to be polite.

"Well, that sounds grand!" Pyrrha says.

"Great!" Weiss says happily.

Weiss then turns around and adopts a scheming pose and manic smile in her head.

"This will be perfect! The smartest girl in class combined with the strongest girl in class! Together we will be unstoppable!" Weiss thinks. "I can see it now! We'll be popular! We'll be celebrities! We'll get perfect grades! Nothing can come between us now!"

Weiss is broken from her evil inner monologue when Jaune comes between her.

"You know what else is great? Me. Jaune Arc. Nice to meet you." Jaune says with a suave attitude.

"You again?" Weiss says with slight anger.

"Hi Pyrrha!" Sapphire says as she suddenly appears with a wave.

"Hello again Sapphire!" Pyrrha says. "Nice to meet you, Jaune!"

"Yeah, yeah." Jaune says as he pushes Pyrrha aside and talks to Weiss. Posing slightly. Sapphire raises an eyebrow before going to stand by Pyrrha. "So, Weiss, couldn't help but overhear your fondness of me the other day."

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" Weiss says in disbelief.

"Don't worry! No need to be embarrassed!" Jaune says. "So, been hearing rumors about teams! I was thinking you and me would make a good one! What do you say?"

"Uh, Jaune?" Sapphire says trying to get the blonds attention.

"Actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students each, so-" Pyrrha said.

"You don't say." Jaune says as he advances on his new target. "Well, hot stuff, play your cards right and maybe you could join up with the winning team."

Sapphire looks between Jaune and Pyrrha in confusion. "...I am so confused here."

Weiss then steps in to separate Pyrrha and Jaune. "Jaune, is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"

Pyrrha notices what Weiss is about to do. "No. No No!"

"Not in the slightest, snow angel." Jaune says.

Pyrrha's eyes widen slightly before quickly reigning in her surprise.

"This is Pyrrha." Weiss says as she gestures to the redhead.

"Hello again!" Pyrrha says with a wave and a smile.

"Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum!" Weiss says.

"Really?" Sapphire thinks while raising an eyebrow.

"Never heard of it." Jaune says.

Weiss scoffs. "She's won the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row! A new record!"

"Really?" Sapphire thinks while her eyes gain a glint to them.

"The what?" Jaune says in confusion.

Weiss, having enough of Jaune's stupidly, waves her arms rapidly. "She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes box!"

Jaune suddenly gasp. "That's you?! But they only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters!"

"Yeah, it was pretty cool." Pyrrha says. "Sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you."

"So, after hearing all of this, do you really think you're in a position to ask her to be on your team?" Weiss asked.

Jaune hangs his head in sadness. "I guess not... Sorry..."

"Actually, Jaune, I think you'd make a great leader!" Pyrrha says.

"Me too." Sapphire says. "Who knows? You might be better than all of us."

Jaune looks at Sapphire in shock. "Y-you think so?"

Not noticing Weiss' shocked face, Sapphire continues. "There's no way to know until we see what you can do. So I'd like to keep an open mind." Sapphire then turns to Pyrrha. "Say Pyrrha? You think we could spar one day?"

Pyrrha looks at Sapphire in slight shock. "You...want to spar with me?"

"Sure." Sapphire says. "Who knows? Maybe we could teach each other a few things."

"Excuse me." Weiss says steering the conversation to her again. "You want to fight Pyrrha? After everything you've heard about her?"

"Words alone don't make a difference Weiss." Sapphire says with a frown. "Until you've actually fought someone, you should never put them above or beneath you. There's always more you can learn. About yourself and your opponent."

Weiss takes a step back as she begins to think about Sapphire's words. Sapphire then turns back to Pyrrha.

"So, what do you say Pyrrha?" Sapphire says with a smile.

Pyrrha returns Sapphires smile with one of her own. "I would like that."

An announcement then plays on the intercom system. Bringing everyones attention to the announcement. Glynda's voice rings from the intercom.

"Would all first-year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation?" Glynda asked. "Again, all first-year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately."

"Well, that's our cue." Sapphire says. "Good luck out there you guys."

Sapphire then leaves the others. After taking a few steps, Sapphires sisters meet up with her and start chatting. Not noticing Weiss staring at Sapphire with critical eyes.

"From what I heard, she's that other dunces twin sister." Weiss thinks. "She definitely seems more mature than her twin." Weiss then begins to head to Beacon Cliff for the initiation. "I suppose if I can't have Pyrrha on my team, she'll be a second option."

Overlooking a forest is Beacon Cliff. Where several students are standing on silver tiles in front of a mug-holding Professor Ozpin and Glynda with her tablet.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors." Ozpin says. "Today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest."

Glynda takes that as her cue to step up.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Glynda says. "Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today."

"What? Ohhh..." Ruby whines.

Sapphire glances at her twin with concern.

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon." Ozpin says. "So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Ruby groans. "That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years."

Ruby looks shocked as she feels like her world's shattered.

"Whaaaat?!" Ruby exclaims.

"See Ren? I told you-! Nora says to her friend.

Sapphire sends Ruby a supportive glance. "Hang in there sis."

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest." Ozpin says. "You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die."

Jaune laughs nervously and then gulps loudly.

"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene." Ozpin says. "You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing and grade you appropriately."

"Sounds like the worlds ultimate game of find the needle in a haystack." Rhexia thinks. "Except the haystack is a Grimm infested forest."

"Are there any questions?" Ozpin says.

Jaune raises his hand. "Yeah, um, sir?"

"Good! Now, take your positions." Ozpin says ignoring Jaunes question.

Everyone strikes a pose on their tile to prepare themselves. Jaune however is still raising his hand.

"Uh, sir? I've got, um... a question." Jaune says. The tile under Weiss rises up into a springboard, rocketing her into the air and over the forest. "So, this landing... strategy thing... Uh, wha-what is it? You're like, dropping us off or something?"

"No. You will be falling." Ozpin says.

One by one, the students are flung into the air and over the forest.

"Oh, uh, I see... So like, did you hand out parachutes for us?" Jaune asked.

"No. You will be using your own "landing strategy." Ozpin replies.

Nora and Ren are then launched.

"Uh-huh... Yeah." Jaune says nervously.

At her turn, Yang winks at her sisters, puts on a pair of aviators and flies off with a "Woo-hoooooooo!" a second before Ruby joins her. Sapphire and Rhexia exchange a glance and a nod before being launched.

"So, what exactly is a landing strategYYY!..." Jaune says before being interrupted. The blond is hurled with the cloud of students now making their way down into the forest below under the eyes of the teachers.

Ozpin, for his part, simply takes a sip of his drink.

One by one, the students make their landings. As Sapphire gets closer to the ground, she uses an Areo spell just before she hits the ground. Sapphire then ends the spell and lands on the ground in a crouch. She then dust herself off before placing her Keyblade on her belt.

"Are you here?" Sapphire says looking around. The sound of someone landing causes Sapphire to look behind her. Revealing Rhexia.

"Hey." Rhexia says. She then walks to her other half. "He said the first person we make eye contact with."

Sapphire smiles. "Couldn't have asked for a better partner."

"So, what's the plan?" Rhexia asked. "Do we find Ruby and Yang? Or head to the temple?"

Sapphire folds her arms in thought. "Hmm. I guess-"

Sapphire is broken from her thoughts as she suddenly looks to her left. Rhexia follows Sapphires lead and looks towards the woods. A pair of red eyes stand out of the bushes. A lone Beowolf appears in front of the two before four more show up.

"Looks like we're surrounded." Rhexia says as she warily looks around.

Sapphire and Rhexia draw their weapons and prepare to fight. But as soon as a Beowolf begins to attack, it freezes up as if it was struck from behind. The two Keyblade wielders look at the Beowolf in confusion. The other Beowolfs then freeze up just like the other one. The first Beowolf then falls to the ground. Revealing it's killer.

"No...!" Sapphire says in horror and disbelief.

"It can't be!" Rhexia exclaims.

The killer possesses a humanoid body structure and has pitch black skin and spherical, glowing yellow eyes. It has crooked antennas that are quite long and fall back behind it. The creature seems to be rather muscular and has very large hands, each one sporting five clawed fingers. Its feet resemble boots and it's body is lined by several faint blue veins of color.

It's name... Neoshadow. A Heartless.

The other Beowolves then fall to the ground. Revealing more Neoshadows.

"How did the Heartless get here?" Rhexia asked.

"I don't know." Sapphire says. She then narrows her eyes as she takes her stance. "But they won't be staying long!"

Rhexia follows Sapphires lead and takes her stance. Black puddles then seem to form on the ground. They then take shape. Revealing the weaker versions of the Neoshadows. Shadows. The bodies of the Grimm then fade away as the two Keyblade wielders prepare themselves. One thing is certain. The Heartless have invaded Remnant.

And done! So, someone's brought the Heartless to Remnant. I'm pretty sure you can guess who. And right on the day of initiation. Looks like Sapphire and Rhexia are going back to work. Again, thank you TPoynt for the suggestions.

Seeya next time. Until then, ja nee! And Happy Halloween!
