And we're back with another installment of KHRWBY! This is the volume 1 finale! Not much else to say, so let's get to it.

As usual, I own nothing.

(Flashback)

After the events at Hollow Bastion, Sapphire, Sora, Donald, Goofy and Kairi recuperated at Traverse Town. There Sapphire learned that she and Sora became Heartless before getting their bodies back. Sapphire when Ansem, who was possessing Riku and Sora when he used the Keyblade of Hearts to free Kairi's and the other princesses.

Leon told Sapphire and Sora that so long as Hollow Bastions Keyhole remained unlocked, the darkness will continue to spread to all the worlds. The only way to stop it, was to seal the Keyhole. Though Leon was unclear about what would happen once the Keyhole is sealed.

The gang took some time to prepare for their trip back to Hollow Bastion. Sapphire had spent some time with Kairi. Learning about each others lives. Before their departure, Kairi gave Sora her lucky charm. Making the boy promise to bring it back. The gang felt that they would be walking towards their final battle, so they decided to revisit the worlds they've been in.

Sapphire and the gang became the champions of the Olympus Coliseum. Even getting revenge on Hades for all the trouble he gave the heroes. Though, Sapphire and Sora had a strange encounter with a man with long silver hair and a long katana. The gang stopped by Traverse Town to return the pages of Pooh's storybook and found all of the missing dalmatian puppies. They even encountered strong Heartless in Agrabah and Neverland.

After their detour, the gang returned to Hollow Bastion. Where Beast was waiting for them. He told the heroes that Belle and the other princesses stayed in the castle. Once there, the princesses revealed that they stayed at the castle to keep the darkness from spreading. Afterwards, the gang made their way to the Keyhole, where they encountered and defeated a large Heartless.

Once the Keyhole was sealed, Leon, Areith, Yuffie and Cid arrived and revealed that Hollow Bastion was originally their home. Leon also revealed that once Ansem was defeated, the worlds would be restored and everyone will go back to their own world. Something that gave Sapphire pause. On one hand, she would be back with her family on Remnant. On the other hand, Sapphire would have to say goodbye to Sora, Donald and Goofy.

Before Sapphire and the gang left Hollow Bastion, they encountered a mysterious figure, one familiar to Sapphire. A man in a black coat. However, he denied being the same person that appeared on Remnant. The gang fought the mystery man, but it seemed as if he was only testing Sapphire and Sora. After the battle, the man vanished, leaving more questions than answers.

After leaving Hollow Bastion, the gang arrived at the End of the World. A world created by the leftovers of the worlds taken by the Heartless. The four heroes faced the unknown, but believed they would make it out in the end. The Heartless were stronger in this world. Some were even new to the gang. As they traveled deeper into the darkness, the gang encountered the Chernabog, who acted as a guardian. After a long fight, Sapphire and the gang defeated the black demon and continued to the end.

At the end of the road, Sapphire and the gang appeared in what looked like Sora's home, Destiny Islands. There waiting for them was Ansem in his true appearance. Face to face with him, Sapphire realized that her fear of Ansem came from the darkness he commands. However, the young Keyblade wielder was able to push her fear aside. Remembering that a Huntress fights in spite of her fear.

The battle with Ansem was hard. Just when it seemed that the Seeker of Darkness was defeated, the gang was transported to a black void, where they came face to face with the door to Kingdom Hearts. Ansem had transformed into what seemed like a fortress and the gang had to defeat the seeker section by section. In the end, the four heroes were able to defeat Ansem.

Ansem, in his weakened state, faces the five heroes who defeated him.

"It is futile..." Ansem says while holding his left arm. "The Keyblade alone... cannot seal the door to darkness."

Ansem turns to face Kingdom Hearts. He then reaches for it. "Kingdom Hearts! ...Fill me... with the power of darkness..."

Kingdom Hearts' door's open slightly. A dark vapor then begins to seep out of it.

"Supreme darkness..." Ansem says.

"You're wrong, Ansem!" Sapphire exclaims.

"I know now, without a doubt." Sora says. "Kingdom Hearts..."

"...is LIGHT!" Sapphire and Sora exclaim.

The darkness inside Kingdom Hearts suddenly gives way to reveal a bright, shinning light. The intensity of the light causes Ansem pain.

"Agh!" Ansem exclaims in pain while shielding himself from the light. "What... the... Light... Ah... But... Why...?"

Weakened and unable to withstand the light of Kingdom Hearts, Ansem is no more. But there was one last thing to do. Close Kingdom Hearts.

Sapphire and the others rush over to Kingdom Hearts and try to push the doors close.

"Come on!" Sora exclaims.

"Rgh!" Sapphire groans in exertion. "Wish I had Yang's strength right now!"

Goofy gets curious and looks inside Kingdom Hearts. What he sees causes him to yell in shock.

"Stop staring and keep pushing!" Donald says. He then looks inside the door, causing him to share Goofy's shock.

"The Heartless!?" Donald and Goofy exclaim.

"Hurry!" Donald exclaims as he pushes harder.

Sapphire and Sora begin to slow down. Their strength fading.

"I can't..." Sora says softly.

"Don't give up!"

Sapphire and Sora look to see Riku on the other side, pulling the door close.

"Come on you two!" Riku says. "Together, we can do it!"

"Okay!" Sora says with a nod.

"Right!" Sapphire says.

The heroes continue to close Kingdom Hearts, but the Heartless on the other side don't seem to want to wait.

"It's hopeless!" Donald exclaims in despair.

Suddenly, the Heartless are defeated without warning! The group looks to see a small figure with big round ears emerge in a glowing light. It was the one Donald and Goofy had been searching for. King Mickey Mouse!

"Your Majesty!" Donald and Goofy exclaim in relief.

Mickey pulls out a Keyblade similar to Sora's, only gold. "Now, Sora, Sapphire! Let's close this door for good!"

"Close it, quick!" Donald says.

"But..." Sora says hesitantly.

"If we close the door, Riku and the King will be trapped on the other side!" Sapphire says in concern.

"Don't worry." Mickey says calmly. "There will always be a door to the light."

"Sora, Sapph, you can trust King Mickey." Goofy says.

"Now!" Riku says urgently. "They're coming!"

The glow around Mickey fades as he glances back at his long time friends. "Donald, Goofy, thank you."

The gang give one final push. Just before the door closes, Riku turns to Sora.

"Take care of her." Riku says.

Sora looks at Riku and nods in determination. He and the gang then close Kingdom Hearts' doors. Sapphire and Sora jump back and raise their Keyblades. Knowing that Mickey was doing the same on his side. Light gathers from their Keyblades and with a shimmering light, Kingdom Hearts vanishes. Finally, their quest has ended.

Sapphire and the gang stand still as they honor Riku and Mickey's sacrifice. After a moment of silence, Sora looks behind him and sees Kairi! He then rushes off to her.

Sapphire looks back and frowns. "It's not over, is it?"

Sapphire looks to see a bright light shinning around her. She then sees an image of her family waiting for her to return to them. The young girl reaches out to them, but then looks back to see Donald and Goofy waving goodbye to her as they disappear into the light. Sapphire then sees Sora and Kairi holding on to each other as the ground beneath them separates.

Sapphire looks down in deep thought. She can finally go home. Back to Ruby, Yang, her dad and her uncle Qrow. But... Sapphire knew that Sora wouldn't quit until he brought Riku home with him. She knew that it wasn't over. And that her new friends still need her.

Sapphire takes a deep breath before looking back at her family. She then gives a sad smile.

"I'm sorry." Sapphire says with tears in her eyes. "Please... just give me more time.

Sapphire wipes away her tears and runs towards Sora. Taking the boy by surprise.

"Sapph?!" Sora exclaims in shock. "What are you-"

"After everything we've been through, you really think I'm gonna just leave?" Sapphire asks with a pout. She then smiles. "I made a promise too, you know. I said I'd help you find your friends. As a future huntress- as your friend, I have to keep that promise."

Sora stares at Sapphire. Touched that the girl would turn down going back to her own world in favor of keeping her promise. The boy smiles as he and Sapphire turn towards the light. The two then vanish.

Needless to say, Sora wasn't the only one shocked that Sapphire chose to stick around. Though Donald and Goofy welcomed her all the same. The group had wound up in a large forest, walking down a long road.

"Well, now what do we do?" Donald asks.

"We gotta find Riku and King Mickey." Sora says. "Then make sure Sapph gets home too."

"But, uh, where do we start lookin' for that there door to the light?" Goofy asks unsurely.

Sapphire looks at her friends in slight alarm. "Wait, I thought you guys knew where to start looking."

The four heroes stop walking before slumping with a sigh. Sora then looks up to see a familiar yellow dog walking across them with a letter in his mouth. At the sight of the dog, Sapphire gasps happily.

"Doggy!" Sapphire exclaims cheerfully.

"Pluto?" Donald asks as the dog stops.

"Hey, Pluto." Goofy says. "Where have you been?"

The group looks closely at the letter Pluto's carrying. Seeing a familiar seal.

"Gawrsh, that's the king's seal!" Goofy says.

"Hey, have you seen King Mickey?" Sora asks.

"Here boy." Sapphire says patting her legs.

Pluto then takes off in the opposite direction. As if to lead the four heroes to their destination. The gang exchange a few smiles before taking off after Pluto.

"Guy's, let's go!" Sora says.

"And the adventure continues!" Sapphire says happily.

(Flashback ends)

{Play Dive into the Heart KH3 version}

Weiss opens her eyes to find herself in a unfamiliar place. A black void as far as she can see.

A few days ago, Weiss discovered that her teammate Blake was not only a Faunus, but a member of the White Fang. Though that last part is still up in the air. When Sapphire realized Weiss was the reason Blake ran away... Let's just say the Keyblade Master wasn't happy with her. Neither was Rhexia, seeing that Blake was the first friend the former Nobody made on Remnant. After getting chewed out, Weiss began to realize that she should at least give Blake a chance to explain herself. For now though, she had to focus on her current problem. The heiress had went to bed some time ago. So where was she?

"What is this place?" Weiss asks as she looks around. "And why am I wearing my combat gear?"

Weiss looks down and gasps. The white haired heiress finds herself on a glass surface that is primarily white with her snowflake emblem decorating it. There's an image of her sleeping along with eight small circles. Three of them had the faces of her teammates. The other five were people Weiss was intimately familiar with.

One picture was a man with white, slicked-back hair, a large, thick mustache and cold blue eyes. The second was a woman with slate-blue eyes, wearing her white hair tied up in a bun, low on the right side of the back of her head, while her bangs are shaped around the left side of her face and a small curled lock of hair reaching almost to her shoulders. Next was a young woman with slate-blue eyes, dark eyebrows and long white hair. The latter of which tied back in a bun that is high on the left side of the back of her head, along with bangs along right side of her face and a small curled lock of hair down the left just above her shoulder. The fourth picture was a young boy with white hair and light blue. His hair is mostly pushed to left, although he does have a cowlick. The last picture is a man with balding brown hair, a large mustache and light brown eyes.

These people are Weiss' father, Jacques Schnee, her mother, Willow, her older sister, Winter, her younger brother Whitley and her butler Klein.

"What... is this?" Weiss asks.

Suddenly, three bright lights appear in front of Weiss. Out of the lights comes a sword, a staff and a shield all floating on a pedestal.

"Power sleeps within you."

Weiss gasps slightly as she frantically looks around.

"Who's there?!" Weiss exclaims.

"If you give it form... It will give you strength. Choose wisely."

"What are you saying?" Weiss asks.

Weiss is answered back with silence. Seeing that the mysterious voice wasn't talking to her anymore, the heiress stomps her feet in frustration. She then glances at the three weapons. Ultimately, Weiss picks the staff. She was then forced to give up the sword. Once the sword vanished, a ornate door appears in front of Weiss.

"Well, that's not ominous at all." Weiss says sarcastically.

Weiss grabs the doors handle and opens it. She is then consumed by a bright light.

Weiss opens her eyes. Not realizing that she had closed them. She then gasps as she looks around. Weiss finds herself in what looks like a two story library. Bookshelves set into alcoves line the walls of the room on both levels, and the center of the first floor was set with multiple lounges, chairs and low tables. A large rug covered the ground, and a multi-tiered chandelier hung in the center of the room. There were a few pillars holding up the walkway for the second story with wall candles on each and more in each corner of the room on both floors. A large staircase curved from the upper floor to the center of the ground floor.

Weiss takes a step back in shock and slight fear. "N-no. Why... Why am I... back home?"

Weiss looks up to see her family and butler around the library. Jacques was sitting behind a desk with his hands folded, Willow was sitting in a lounge chair sipping wine, Winter was staring outside a window with Whitley on the opposite side doing the same and Klein stood near the door.

Unsure of how or why she's here, Weiss hesitantly walks towards her father. She then curtseys in greeting.

"Father?" Weiss asks.

"What are you so afraid of?" Jacques asks coldly.

Weiss flinches at her fathers tone. His question then full registers to Weiss. She looks as if she is about to deny Jacques question, but feels compelled to answer truthfully. Weiss takes a deep breath before facing her father with a determined look.

"You." Weiss says.

Jacques scoffs before vanishing. Taking Weiss by surprise. She then looks around for any sign of her father. After a moment, Weiss gives up before walking towards her mother.

"Mother?" Weiss asks.

"What do you want out of life?" Willow asks after taking a sip of her wine.

"More questions..." Weiss mutters. She then thinks for a moment before answering. "To repair our broken family."

Willow raises her wine glass to her lips, but stops mid-way. She then puts her glass down before giving Weiss a tender, but sad smile. Willow then vanish.

"I think I'm starting to see a pattern here." Weiss says.

Weiss walks over to Klein. "Klein?"

"What best describes you, Ms. Schnee?" Klein asks.

Weiss smiles. "A snowflake."

Kleins eye color changes to yellow before he vanishes with a smile. Weiss then takes a moment before moving towards her brother.

"Whitley?" Weiss asks in a clipped tone.

"What is most important to you, sister?" Whitley asks without turning around.

Weiss gives Whitley a stoney look. After a few seconds, Weiss sighs.

"Living my own life." Weiss says.

Whitley glances at Weiss with a frown before vanishing.

"Only one left." Weiss says.

Weiss makes her way to Winter. "Winter?"

"Weiss, what do you wish?" Winter asks without turning around.

"My wish..." Weiss says before trailing off in thought.

The question itself was a difficult one compared to the others. ...No. Deep down, Weiss knew what her answer was.

"To make things right." Weiss says in determination.

Winter turns to Weiss with a hard look. Her look then softens as she gives a small smile before vanishing.

Suddenly, a snowstorm appears in the library. As the winds become harsher, the library slowly fades away. But even so, Weiss looks on in resolve.

{End OST}

Weiss appears in the same black void she was in before. Only she seems to be floating in place.

"I think I get it now." Weiss says while placing a hand on her chest. "All those questions, they were the ones I always avoided. I never had the courage to face them. ...Until now."

"Do you understand now?"

Weiss gasps as she looks to see a doppelganger of herself. Only her copy had darker blue eyes.

"All your life, you chose to refuse the truth in front of you." The copy says. "You claimed that you wanted to be a huntress to restore our families honor. But you always had doubts about if your family was worth salvaging. You didn't want to acknowledge how bad things really are. Always striving to be the perfect daughter."

"But I'm not." Weiss says. She then gives a small smile. "I told Ruby the same thing, but I never admitted to myself. I'm not perfect. And I'm okay with that. My flaws... my fears... are a part of who I am."

"And who are you?" The copy asks while crossing her arms.

"I am Weiss Schnee." Weiss says with a smirk. "An heiress, a huntress in training and a member of team RWBY. And anyone who says different can go to hell."

Weiss' copy stares at her original before smiling. "Well said. Now go get our teammate back."

Suddenly the void is engulfed in a bright light. Causing Weiss to shield her eyes.

"W...s."

"We..s!"

"Weiss! Wake up!"

Weiss' eyes snap open in surprise and immediately raises out of her bed. She then looks around to see Ruby and Yang looking at her with concern.

"You okay?" Yang asks. "I know you like your beauty sleep and everything, but it's almost noon."

"...I slept in?" Weiss asks after a pause.

"Yeah." Ruby says. "Kinda had us worried."

Yang sighs. "Look, I know you think Blake's with the White Fang, but-"

"Excuse me." Weiss interrupts as she gets out of her bed and walks to the bathroom.

"Where are you going?" Ruby asks.

"To get ready." Weiss says without turning around. "We have a teammate to find."

Ruby and Yang stare at Weiss as she enters the bathroom. They then look at each other in confusion.

Meanwhile in downtown Vale, Sapphire and Rhexia had began their own search for Blake earlier. The two had split up to cover more ground, but were still unable to find their missing friend.

"Any sign of her on your end?" Sapphire asks.

Rhexia shakes her head. "Nothing. Gotta give her credit, Blake knows how to hide when people are looking for her."

Sapphire hums in thought. "She has to be somewhere in Vale."

Rhexia narrows her eyes. "To be honest, I'm more worried about Ozpin."

Sapphire matches her others expression. After discovering Blake's identity, the two questioned Ozpin about the fact. Only to learn that Blake was already on Ozpin's radar. The fact that their headmaster was aware that they had a possible White Fang member in the academy and didn't tell them put Sapphire and Rhexia on edge.

"I've said it before, that man seems like he knows everything." Sapphire says. "It makes you wonder what other secrets he's hiding. His secrets probably have secrets."

"Not only that, but why hasn't he told us about the Keyhole?" Rhexia asks. "He's gotta know about that."

"Either he does and isn't telling us, or Ozpin actually doesn't know." Sapphire says. "Something tells me he needs us for something."

"Oh? And what might that be?"

Sapphire and Rhexia are put on guard in response to the mysterious voice. However, for Sapphire, it was a voice she was more than familiar with.

"I should've known." Sapphire says with a growl.

Suddenly, a dark corridor appears in front of the two girls. Maleficent and Pete then step out of the portal.

Pete mockingly puts his hands on his hips. "Hmph. That's the kind of greetin' we get after all this time? And here I thought we were pals."

"You're no friends of ours!" Rhexia says.

"You two are the reason the Heartless are here, aren't you?" Sapphire states more than asks.

"And what if we are?" Maleficent asks with a smirk.

"We already have enough problems with the Grimm." Sapphire says. "We don't need you two causing trouble."

"Ah yes, the Grimm." Maleficent says. "Curious creatures. They are like the Heartless, but act on instinct. They are drawn to negative emotions and not the hearts of others. It makes me wonder how such creatures came to be."

Sapphire glares. "I'm only gonna say this once. Get off my world and take your Heartless with you."

Maleficent narrows her eyes. "You dare to think you can make demands of me?"

"Seems to me that someone's a little too big for her britches." Pete says. "Being a master gone to her head."

"Remnant is under our protection." Rhexia says. "You two are trespassing. Last I heard, you two were suppose to be looking for some black box." Rhexia smirks. "What's wrong? Found out it doesn't exist?"

Maleficent sneers. "There are things in the worlds even you do not understand. We've wasted enough time here." Maleficent turns to face the dark corridor. She then smirks. "Though, it would be a shame not to leave you with a parting gift."

Maleficent taps her staff on the ground. In response, a dozen Armored Knights appear, surrounding the two wielders. Maleficent turns her head to Sapphire and gives a mocking smirk before vanishing in the dark corridor.

"Later losers!" Pete says with a chortle before following after his boss.

"Wait!" Sapphire exclaims.

Unfortunately, the portal closes. Leaving Sapphire and Rhexia to contend with the Heartless. Sapphire clenches her fists before facing the Heartless as she and Rhexia summon their Keyblades.

In another part of town, Blake can be seen walking down an alley with a blonde haired monkey Faunus. His name is Sun Wukong.

Team RWBY first encountered Sun when he stowed away on a boat to Vale. When Blake's secret was revealed, Sun approached her and stuck with her after leaving Beacon. Today, Blake revealed her past to Sun. The cat Faunus was a member of the White Fang back when it was peaceful. She stayed when her father stepped down as the leader of the group, believing that they were getting results. However, things got really bad and Blake decided to leave the group... and her partner. Seeking to right the wrongs she helped commit, Blake joined Beacon to become a huntress.

Sun puts his hands behind his head. "So, what's the plan now?"

"I still don't believe the White Fang is behind these robberies." Blake says. "They've never needed that much Dust before."

Sun widens his eyes in realization. "What if they did?" Sun lowers his arms and paces in front of Blake as he continues. "I mean... the only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go to if they were to do it, and not find them there! Right?"

"The only thing is, I've no idea where that would be." Blake says.

"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of Dust coming in from Atlas." Sun says.

"How huge?" Blake asks.

"Huge." Sun says as he spreads his arms. "Big Schnee Company freighter."

Blake slightly narrows her eyes as she leans towards Sun. "You're sure?"

"So, Blake is your friend?"

The remainder of team RWBY had begun their search for their missing teammate in Vale. Weiss was especially was determined to find Blake. It was kind of weirding Ruby and Yang out that their resident "Ice Queen" had changed from accusing Blake to wanting to find her. Along the way, the group ran into Penny. Once she heard that Blake was missing, the cheerful ginger wanted to help. Though her enthusiasm was a little... much.

Ruby sighs. "Yes, Penny."

"But you're mad at her?" Penny asks.

"No, Weiss is." Yang says.

"Correction, I was mad." Weiss says. "Now, I just want to find her and get the truth from her.

Penny tilts her head in confusion. "The truth?"

Ruby grimaces. "Blake... might not be the person we thought she was."

Penny gasps. "Is she a man?!"

Ruby, Weiss and Yang freeze at Penny's question. Like a door creaking, the three turn their heads to Penny with dumbfounded expressions. Said girl simply tilts her head in confusion.

"Did I say something wrong?" Penny asks innocently.

"Something tells me Penny's been sheltered her whole life." Yang whispers to Ruby.

Ruby shakes her head and the group resumes walking. "We don't know what she is. She didn't exactly talk to us before she decided to run off."

Penny looks down. "I don't have a lot of friends, but if I did, I would want them to talk to me about things."

"That's exactly why we're looking for her." Weiss says.

Ruby and Yang raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"Okay, you've been acting weird all day, Weiss." Yang says. "You weren't exactly in a hurry to find Blake before. Now it's like you're a different person."

Weiss awkwardly looks away. "Look, I know how I acted before. Let's just say I've had an epiphany."

"A what?" Ruby asks in confusion.

"Epiphany." Penny says. "A sudden realization of great truth."

"...Thanks, Penny." Ruby says after a pause.

"My pleasure!" Penny cheerfully says.

"The point is, I've realized that there is room for improvement in my behavior." Weiss says. "I should've given Blake a chance to explain herself."

"That's an understatement." Yang mutters.

Weiss hears Yang's comment and frowns.

"So, does this mean you're gonna be nicer now?" Ruby asks.

Weiss nods. "That's the idea."

Ruby leans towards Weiss with a smile. "Sooooo, we're besties now?"

Weiss gives Ruby a dry look. "Don't push it, you dolt."

Night had fallen at the docks. Amidst the chirping of crickets and darkness of night, Blake lays flat on her stomach on the rooftop overlooking the shipment of Schnee Dust containers. She hears movement as Sun lands next to her with a bundle of fruit.

"Did I miss anything?" Sun asks.

"Not really." Blake says. "They've offloaded the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there."

"Cool." Sun says. He then holds out one of the green apples in his arms to Blake. "I stole you some food!"

Blake gives Sun a questioning look. "Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?"

"Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?" Sun asks. Resulting in an angry glare from his companion. "Okay, too soon!"

Suddenly, the winds blows all Blake and Sun. The two look up to see a Bullhead's searchlights flashing around for a landing spot, descending in the middle of the cargo containers and extending a ramp for a black hooded individual with a metallic fanged mask to come out of.

"Oh no." Blake says with a gasps.

"Is that them?" Sun asks.

One of the members turns around. Revealing a bloody wolf logo on the back of his uniform.

"Yes... It's them." Blake says dejectedly.

"You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?" Sun asks.

Blake stares sadly at the scene before her. "No. I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right."

Blake closes her eyes in despair, only to open them suddenly when she hears a new voice.

"Hey! What's the holdup!?"

The soldiers look up to see Roman Torchwick gesturing widely as he walks down the ramp.

"We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace?" Roman asks.

Blake shakes her head. "This isn't right. The White Fang would never work with a Human." Blake stands up and unsheathes the Katana of Gambol Shroud before walking off the edge of the roof. "Especially not one like that."

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Sun asks in alarm.

Blake falls to the ground in a crouch, then continues on to hide behind one of the containers, peeking around the corner to see Roman berate a White Fang member holding a coil of rope.

"No, you idiot!" Roman exclaims. "This isn't a leash!"

As he looks around, Blake suddenly appears behind Roman with her blade at his throat.

"What the-" Roman exclaims. He then rolls his eyes. "Oh, for f-"

"Nobody move!" Blake interrupts.

The White Fang soldiers ready their guns and equip their swords in response.

"Whoa!" Roman says nonchalantly. "Take it easy there, little lady."

As the White Fang closes in on her, Blake uses her free hand to go for her bow and remove it, causing the ribbon to fall away as her Faunus ears are shown to the world.

"Brothers of the White Fang!" Blake says. "Why are you aiding this scum?"

The White Fang members lower their weapons a little at this development, unsure of what to do.

Roman laughs. "Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?"

"What are you talking about?" Blake asks.

"The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together!" Roman says cheekily.

Blake presses her katana at Roman's throat. "Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation."

Suddenly, the air is filled with more turbines blowing the wind wildly around the holdup.

Roman looks up. "I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation..."

Two more Bullheads are hovering above the heist. As Blake watches in horror, Roman smiles and manages to fire his cane at Blake's feet, resulting in a large explosion.

Across town, Ruby, Weiss, Yang and Penny turn around upon hearing the noise, seeing the smoke rise from the docking bay just a few buildings away.

"Oh, no..." Ruby whispers.

"That's gotta be her." Yang says. "Come on!"

The group rushes towards the docks.

Back at the docks, Blake, dazed but relatively unhurt on the ground, quickly rolls and runs out of the way of Roman's continued attacks. Flaming missiles destroy the cargo behind her as she flips and uses her semblance to dodge before retreating behind more containers.

Roman slowly stalks the container. "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty..."

Roman's taunt is interrupted when a banana peel lands on his head, causing him to toss it aside. He then look up and growl at the assailant before his eyes suddenly widen.

"Woohoo!"

Sun leaps from the container above Roman and drops down on the criminal's face feet-first, rolling up and readying himself to fight.

"Leave her alone!" Sun says with narrowed eyes.

The Bullheads open to let more White Fang members descend on the scene, standing by Roman as he gets up and surrounding Sun.

"You are not the brightest banana in the bunch, are you, kid?" Roman asks condescendingly.

The White Fang charge at the monkey Faunus, but he manages to dodge their slashes and get some off the soldiers with his fists and kicks until he rolls out of the way of one's sword. He then pulls out a collapsible red staff. Sun quickly uses his weapon to beat down on each opponent that nears him, felling each one in a single flaming blow when he twirls it around, even creating a scorching shockwave to beat the last of them.

Blake peers around the corner of the container to watch Sun jump around and beat another White Fang soldier, landing on his back and causing him to fly over toward Roman's head. The crime boss ducks then growls in annoyance. Roman then aims his cane at Sun, firing a shot that the monkey Faunus defends himself from just when Blake leaps into the action.

"He's mine!" Blake exclaims.

Blake goes in close and becomes a blur of afterimages as she slashes both blades at Roman, who backs away and deflects each would-be blow with his cane at unbelievable speeds. Blake continues to dash, hop over and slide around Roman to try and find a weak spot. After Blake finally lands a blow, Roman quickly recovers before deflecting several more attacks before attempting to punch her in the face. Only to hit a clone as she flips away. The two clash weapons again, then Torchwick jabs her in the side. With a laugh, he lands a few more hits on Blake until one final beating to the head with his cane causes her to go down.

Just as Roman deals with one opponent, Sun appears right behind Blake. Vaulting over her, Sun kicks Roman in the chest and disconnects his staff into two spinning circles of flame-firing shotgun nunchucks. Sun swings each gun at Roman while firing everything he as at him, but even with the rapid series of shots and flying bullets, Roman manages to defend himself against every bullet and hit until a millisecond-long pause allows Blake to get a slash in and knock him back.

On his back, Roman notices a container hanging by a crane right above the Blake and Sun. He gets up and fire his cane at its supports. Blake leaps behind it, but Sun barely misses when he jumps forward, ending up right below the nozzle of Roman's cane. Just as he's about to fire, Roman and Sun's attention are drawn to a familiar voice.

"Torchwick!"

Ruby, Weiss Yang appear on the rooftop overlooking everyone. Their respective weapons at the ready.

"Get away from our teammate!" Weiss exclaims.

Blake gasps softly at Weiss' comment.

Roman, losing interest in Sun waves at the newcomers. "Well, hello, Red! I see you've brought friends. Isn't it past your bedtime?"

Penny nervously approaches the girls from behind. "Are these your friends?"

Ruby looks back. "Penny, get back!"

"Find some cover!" Yang says.

With their her attention is diverted, Roman snarls and fires his cane at the girls. Only for his blast, to his and the girls shock, be blocked by a familiar looking barrier. The girls look behind themselves to see Sapphire and Rhexia with their Keyblades drawn.

"Sapph! Rhexia!" Yang exclaims in relief.

"Sorry we're late." Sapphire says as the barrier goes down. "Traffic was terrible."

Rhexia steps forward with her Keyblade held behind her head. "This a private party or can anybody join?"

Sapphire launches herself at Roman, who barely blocks her slash with his cane. Sapphire then smirks.

"Remember me?" Sapphire asks.

Roman snarls. "How can I forget Red's blue colored clone?"

"At least I'm not wearing makeup, Guyliner." Sapphire retorts cheekily.

Roman growls at Sapphires comment before the two separate. The two move to engage, but just before Sapphire can strike, something blocks her. Sapphire looks to see a White Fang member blocking her with his blade.

Seeing his adversary stopped, Roman chuckles. "Nice job. Guess you lot are good for something after all."

Roman retreats. Sapphire tries to pursue the crime boss, only to be blocked by the same White Fang operative.

Sapphire growls. "Move it!"

"Key...blade..." The White Fang member says with a raspy voice.

Sapphire is suddenly shocked as the White Fang member starts to ooze darkness.

"...Light dang it." Sapphire mutters.

To Sapphires horror, several other White Fang members move towards her. All muttering the word Keyblade as they ooze darkness.

From the rooftop, Yang and the others can see the White Fangs members strange behavior.

"Aw, hell!" Yang exclaims in worry. She then looks towards Ruby. "Rubes, you better get ready!"

"Got it!" Ruby says.

Ruby holsters Crescent Rose before summoning her Keyblade. Something that surprises and amazes Penny. Ruby and Rhexia then jump off the roof as they move towards Sapphire.

Weiss looks at Yang. "They're gonna need help."

Yang nods as she and Weiss rush towards the scene. Leaving Penny to watch.

Blake, who has regrouped with Sun, peeks out from behind a container. Once she sees the White Fang grunts oozing darkness, her eyes widen.

"Oh no..." Blake whispers in horror.

Sun peeks his head out from behind the container. "What's going on? They're acting weird."

"Things just got a lot more difficult." Blake says. She then narrows her eyes before looking at Sun. "Listen, stay out of sight."

Blake rushes out, leaving Sun shocked and confused. "H-hey!"

The White Fang grunts give a collective roar before the darkness suddenly explodes around them. Leaving an army of Shadow heartless. The Heartless then bunch together into a mass of Shadows. Suddenly, a twister made from the Heartless springs forth.

At the sight of the massive twister, Sapphire takes a step back in shock. She then narrows her eyes.

"It's a Demon Tower!" Sapphire exclaims.

"Sapphire!"

Sapphire looks to her left to see Blake rushing towards her.

"No, Blake!" Sapphire exclaims in worry. "Get back!"

The Demon Tower turns it's attention to Blake. It then rushes towards her. Seeing the mass of Heartless charging towards her, Blake freezes up. Just before the Demon Tower can attack Blake, a white blur rushes in-between the two. The blur is revealed to be Weiss.

"Weiss?!" Blake exclaims in shock.

Weiss says nothing as she quickly summons a glyph to block the incoming attack. However, much to her shock, a bright light shines in Weiss' left hand, repelling the Heartless. The light in Weiss' hand dies down to reveal a Keyblade!

The Keyblade has a ornate handle, bearing a sky-blue and azure color scheme. The guard has spikes surrounding it and the blade is long with spikes from the inside emerging from the outside and a faint snowflake appearing at one end. The teeth is a ornate golden and blue hollow snowflake with the center being a diamond star. The Keychain's links are bright and the token is a simplified version of the teeth. This is Weiss' Keyblade. Diamond Dust. *Union X 2nd upgrade*

Weiss stares at her new weapon in shock. "What...?"

"Weiss!" Ruby exclaims as she rushes towards her partner. Sapphire and Rhexia following her.

"You two okay?" Rhexia asks. She then sees Weiss' Keyblade. "Whoa!"

"Weiss, you have a Keyblade!" Ruby exclaims joyfully.

Weiss examines her Keyblade. "This is... mine?"

Weiss, along with Ruby and Rhexia, around to see a group of Neoshadow's appear behind them. One of the Heartless tries to attack Ruby, only for it to be impaled and destroyed by a sword. The group looks to see Penny standing on the rooftop with of a number of thin floating sword-guns around her. She then launches off the rooftop and lands near Ruby and the others as her sword returns to her. Yang and Sun following behind the cheerful ginger.

"Penny?" Ruby asks.

Penny smiles at Ruby before giving her a salute. "Don't worry, Ruby. I am combat ready!"

"Uh, what is that?!" Sun asks in alarm as he points at the Demon Tower.

"Later!" Sapphire says. "Blake, Yang, take Penny and monkey-boy and deal with the Neoshadow's."

"Got it!" Yang says with a nod.

"My name is Sun- Whoa!" Sun says before he is dragged away by Yang.

Penny follows her new friends as they move away from the group to deal with the Neoshadow's. Blake lingers as she stares at Weiss. After a few seconds, she follows her partner and the others.

The Keyblade wielders turn their attention to the Demon Tower.

"Get ready!" Sapphire says as she, Rhexia and Ruby take their stances. Sapphire then looks at Weiss. "Are you up for this, Weiss?"

Sapphires question knocks Weiss back to her senses. She then gives a determined nod before taking her stance, which Sapphire notices looks like her fellow Keyblade master, Aqua's stance. Only in reverse.

"Let's go!" Sapphire says before charging forward.

Rhexia, Ruby and Weiss follow Sapphires lead and rush towards the Demon Tower.

"It's a combination of hundreds of Shadow Heartless." Sapphire says as she slashes at the Heartless spire. "Doesn't matter where you attack, just hit it hard!"

Spurred by Sapphires advice, Ruby and Weiss tag team the Demon Tower with a rush of attacks. The amalgamation doesn't take the constant attacks lying down as it twists it's body and strikes three times with its tip from the side. Luckily, Sapphire, Ruby and Weiss avoided the barrage. Ruby with her Semblance and Sapphire and Weiss by cartwheeling away. Rhexia comes in with Shadowbreaker. Sapphire then follows up with a Barrier Surge. The Demon Tower retaliates by twisting it's body, springing up, then lunging at Sapphire and Rehxia. Sapphire defends with her barrier while Rhexia pulls a reversal. Sapphire quickly cartwheels away as Rhexia counterattacks.

"Tch, fighting this thing is annoying." Rhexia says with a scoff.

"Let's try some magic." Sapphire says.

Rhexia nods before preparing her spell. "Waterga!"

A large stream of water surrounds Rhexia briefly before it forms into a projectile. The spell hits the Demon Tower, soaking it with water.

"And now that your all wet." Sapphire says as she raises her Keyblade to the sky. "Thundaga!"

The sky darkens as a large cluster of lightning strikes hit the Demon Tower. Thanks to Rhexia's previous attack, the water acts as a conductor and electrifies the amalgamation. Causing a lot of damage and stunning the Heartless.

"Now, while it's stunned!" Sapphire says.

The four Keyblade wielders rush the Demon Tower with a barrage of attacks. The barrage continues for ten seconds before the Demon Tower attacks it's prey. The amalgamation twists it's body and thrusts it's tip upward. Launching the four wielders back. The Demon Tower then dives before scattering itself along the ground. The Shadows gather together at Sapphires position.

"Areo!"

Sapphire is launched back as the Shadows recombine. Luckily, the damage Sapphire would've taken was halved thanks to a wind barrier. The bluenette looks to see that Ruby was the one who cast the spell. The barrier goes down as Sapphire nods at her sister in gratitude. Sapphire then regroups with Rhexia, Ruby and Weiss.

"It's hard to tell if this thing is on it's last legs." Rhexia says.

Sapphire glances around to see Yang's group fairing just fine against the Neoshadow's. After seeing that her older sister and friends are alright, the bluenette turns her attention back to the Demon Tower.

"I have an idea." Sapphire says. She then glances at Ruby. "Ruby, remember that technique we've been practicing?"

Ruby gasps in realization before smiling brightly. "You mean...?"

Sapphire nods. She then glances at Rhexia and Weiss. "Ruby and I will create an opening. When you see your chance, rush in. Got it?"

"Okay." Rhexia says with a nod.

"Understood." Weiss says.

The Demon Tower lunges at the four Keyblade wielders. The girls dodge the attack by leaping away.

"Let's go, Ruby!" Sapphire says before dashing towards the Heartless.

Ruby follows her twins lead and dashes forward. The two then use their Semblances to dash at the Demon Tower at blinding speeds. The twins then rapidly spin in the air, causing red and blue petals to surround them like two mini tornados. Sapphire and Ruby pierce through the Heartless while leaving red and blue petals scattered in the air. Creating a large opening in the Shadow amalgamation. This is Sapphire and Ruby's Limit attack. Twin Petal Burst.

Sapphire and Ruby come to a stop before turning towards Rhexia and Weiss.

"Now!" Sapphire yells.

Rhexia and Weiss rush towards the Demon Tower as the hole Sapphire and Ruby made begins to close. Rhexia dashes forward and slashes horizontally at the Heartless, splitting the amalgamation in two. Weiss then leaps into the air and with a yell, slashes the top half of the Demon Tower in two. The two halves suddenly regroup before leaving the docks.

{End OST}

"It got away." Rhexia says as she looks in the direction the Heartless left as she desummons her Keyblade.

"Should we go after it?" Ruby asks as she and Sapphire regroup with Rhexia and Weiss while desummoning their Keyblades.

Sapphire shakes her head. "No. Something tells me we'll see it again. Besides, that Heartless wasn't the only thing that got away."

Ruby looks around and notices what's missing. Or rather, someone.

"Torchwick." Ruby says with a frown.

"Must've used the Heartless to escape." Rhexia says.

The sound of sirens blaring indicates that the police have arrived on the scene.

"You guys okay?" Yang asks as her group walks towards Sapphire and the others. Blake had put her bow back on after the battle. However, one person was missing.

"Where's Penny?" Ruby asks while looking around.

"Don't know." Yang says while shaking her head with a shrug. "She disappeared after we took down the last of the Heartless."

"Is that what those things are called?" Sun asks.

Weiss and Blake's eyes meet. Weiss' eyes narrow slightly as she walks towards Blake. Said girl copies the heiresses actions and the two meet halfway.

"Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang." Blake says calmly. "Back when I was with the-"

Weiss raises her hand, interrupting Blake. She then sighs before looking Blake in the eye.

"...I'm sorry." Weiss says.

Ruby, Blake and Yang's jaws drop in shock. Weiss Schnee... apologized.

Blake stands slacked jawed for a few moments before snapping out of her stupor.

"You're... sorry?" Blake asks in confusion.

"I acted rashly." Weiss says. "I should've asked for your side of the story first. You're my teammate and I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable being around me." Weiss looks to the side in shame. "My father had influenced me more than I'd care to admit." Weiss takes a breath before looking back towards Blake. "But I promise, I'll be more understanding."

Blake wipes a tear from her eye. "Apology accepted. And I'm sorry too."

Weiss points at Blake with a stern expression. "Just make sure the next time something major happens, you come to your team first." Weiss glances at Sun. "And not someone else."

Blake gives a small smile. "Of course."

Ruby slings her arms around Weiss and Blake. "Aw yeah! Team RWBY is back and better than ever!"

Yang looks at Weiss' Keyblade. She then grins as she crosses her arms. "Looks like you'll be learning the hard stuff with me and Rubes from now on, Weiss."

Weiss looks at Yang before looking at her Keyblade.

"You look a lot happier now, Weiss." Sapphire says with a smile. "I'm glad."

Weiss looks at Sapphire. She then gives a small smile. "Yeah. Feels like a weight's been lifted."

Sapphire, Rhexia and team RWBY smile at one another. Though the moment doesn't last long.

"Is anyone gonna tell me what just happened?" Sun asks while looking at the gang from Beacon.

Meanwhile in Ozpin's office, the headmaster is seen holding a Scroll showing a "LIVE FEED" of Ruby and the others at the docks. He closes the video and opens up a communication with Qrow, whose team name and other information is left blank and his only message is: "QUEEN HAS PAWNS."

Roman stumbles into a warehouse, holding a briefcase. He didn't sign up for this. It was one thing to work with the White Fang. Roman didn't like the Faunus, but he didn't outright hate them. However, those black creatures at the docks were another thing. Seeing some of the White Fang he was working with turn into those creatures before becoming a amalgamation of those shadowy monsters? One thing Roman knew for sure, those creatures were not Grimm.

Roman slumps against a table after placing his briefcase on it. He then lights a cigar and takes a long relaxing drag.

"What a night." Roman mutters. "I could use some of that bouillabaisse Neo cooked a few days ago. I need a good meal."

"How very disappointing, Roman."

Roman is startled by the sultry voice. He then turns to face the darkness in the warehouse as a woman steps out with two others.

The woman was in fact the same one Ruby and Sapphire confronted during Roman's Dust robbery. One of the two is a young man with pale skin, gray eyes and gray hair, partially slicked back while unkempt at the front. The other mystery person is a young woman with medium-brown skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair is a light, mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back.

These three are Mercury Black, Emerald Sustrai and their leader, Cinder Fall.

"Whoa!" Roman exclaims nervously. "Hehe... I wasn't expecting to see you guys so soon..."

"We were expecting... more from you." Cinder says.

Roman laughs a little before getting serious. "Hey! You were the ones who suggested working with the White Fang. And did you do something to them? Because half of the group I was working with turned into monsters akin to the Grimm."

"Oh, you don't have to worry about those creatures." Cinder says. "Just continue working with the White Fang." Cinder glances behind her with a smirk. "Our new... associate will handle any problems."

From behind Cinder a figure steps out from the shadows. A figure wearing a black coat.

"Looks like we'll be working together for awhile." The mysterious figure says.

And done! That's it for volume 1. So, to recap, Weiss goes through a Dive to the Heart and comes out a better person, Sapphire and Rhexia are starting to question Ozpin's motives, Maleficent and Pete reveal themselves to to our heroes, the battle at the dock occurs with the Heartless crashing the party, Weiss gets a Keyblade and Cinder and her gang are working with who looks like a member of Organization XIII. But who?

Sorry if Weiss seemed OC in this chapter. It just kinda happened when I was thinking on how I wanted her Dive to go. I basically made it so she's like her volume 4 self earlier on.

Also, Sapphires Limit attack with Ruby is based off Ruby's distortion drive Petal Burst from Blazblue Cross Tag Battle. Just two of them happening at the same time. I also meant to mention last chapter that Sapphires Limit with Rhexia is called Unison Raid.

See you in volume 2. Until then, ja nee!
