"I had concluded that this is without a doubt, a case of robbery and everything sums up to one person and one person alone"
Sherlock announced as he took a huff off his iconic pipe. Everyone gathered around a certain bar with everyone dressed very weirdly
Some were wearing in old steampunk fashion, old Victorian dresses and even ball gowns
And some dressed in the modern era with jeans and t shirts
"Perhaps you would have any idea what happened here, Mr. Wayne" Sherlock uttered as he turned his attention to me who was watching the scene closely
I couldn't believe my eyes, Sherlock Holmes himself calling me out from the crowd
But something seems peculiar here for some reason
"I knew from the beginning that I couldn't trust that sly face of yours Wayne" Watson stated as he clenched his towards me
"Now Now, that's now how we do things from now on" Sherlock interrupted as he eased down his partner
"Now, you'd have to tell us everything you know, lad"
I was still speechless but the thought was slowly coming up to me. I should probably respond out of respect
"Um, I have no slightest idea what you are pertaining sir Holmes" Bruce stated
"Of course you don't, that's why I'm here" Sherlock responded as he turned around off his direction
"Bruce, I just have one question for you"
I felt intrigued with the question but I knew Sherlock wouldn't just ask things for no reason; still everything seems surreal, as if everything is not real at all
All of a sudden, Sherlock turned around— but this time he looked completely different
He now looked feminine with raven locks falling down to his shoulders, sparkling sapphire eyes, pouty lips and cheekbones that resembled a lot like…
"Do you love me, Bruce?"
And just like that, the whole bar changed into a mess as everyone also had turned into the familiar form of this lady in front of me
They slowly walked towards my direction, making sure I couldn't escape somehow
They were spurting out the same phrases all throughout—
"Do you love me, Bruce?"
"Do you love me, Bruce?"
"Do you love me, Bruce?"
It was so repetitive that I wished my ears would seal on it's own
Until I finally had my limit
"STOOOO—"
Bruce opened his eyes suddenly as a beautiful sight came before his eyes
"Good Morning!" a certain Amazon greeted in a sweet tone
He was still in shambles over the happenings of the nightmare he had, and the first thing that he would see is her face
"What are you doing here, Diana?"
Diana gave him a warm smile as she sat next to him on the bed
"I rang multiple times but there was no response so I decided to just barge in" Diana responded in a very sincere way
"It's very nice watching you sleep Bruce"
One could easily forget how creepy it is for a person to barge in and watch someone sleep but if that person is no other than Diana, then Bruce has his lips sealed for any complaints
He knew damn well how Amazons operate
And so he rubbed his eyes and heaved out a yawn. He then diverted his attention to the little clock at the table
It was 10: 00 AM
"You really overslept this time, huh Bruce" Diana asked while folding his blanket
Bruce took notice of this and a certain question then popped to his mind
"What are you doing here?"
xXx
The sun was nice and out and the trees were emitting the same wonderful vibe. The radiant sunshine shining on everything that has colors in it
It was certainly a nice day
Diana was humming a certain happy melody while skipping by the road of Gotham City which was surprisingly very empty. A very big smile was painted on her face as she went on with her happy demeanor
" La La La— It's very refreshing to see Gotham without the busy roads and people, don't you think?" She uttered
Bruce, who was walking next to him in a very sluggish fashion, was definitely the opposite of how Diana is right now
"It's a freakin Sunday Diana, Sunday!— can you please remind me again where we are going on such a perfect rest day?"
Diana rolled her eyes in tease as she turned to Bruce's direction while skipping backwards to their direction
"Hmmm… I called you out for sparring in this very special day!" She yelled in response
"Can't we just do it at the Manor, we do have rooms for that after all"
"Nope!" Diana responded sharply in a sweet tone
"I wanna spar outdoors this time, to breathe in the fresh air as I keep you on my submission… hee hee"
Bruce was overly confused at this point that he didn't even bother to respond, he just watched the lady herself give him a look of triumph
"What will we do if someone would see us?" He asked
Diana tapped her lips with her finger while looking up, indicating thinking, as she got deep in her thoughts
And after a few seconds of thinking, her eyes gleamed wide of a bright idea
"You said so yourself Bruce, It's a Sunday, no one would goes out in Sundays"
Bruce heaved out a sigh of defeat as Diana giggled to herself for coming up such a wise thought
"So we're just gonna spar right?" He asked
"mhmm" Diana nodded in a mellow hum
The man then shook his head off to set himself straight back to reality. Nothing would happen if we would just sulk all day and be lethargic
This could also be a good education on how he could learn more about Diana's moveset in battle
And so he looked forward with a determined look on his face
"Alright, I'll take you up on that offer princess" He responded while looking straight at Diana's baby blues
Diana paused for a second there upon seeing his face properly today. She felt a warm rush of heat come up to her face as Bruce stared at her
"S-sure.. Bruce—"
"What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Bruce asked "You face is all red for some reason"
"Oh it's nothing.." Diana uttered as she shook her face and looked forward.
When she did, Diana noticed a certain bookshop that sells wonderful books on the windows. Her eyes widened in awe as the pile with such beautiful covers caught her attention
She then stopped in her tracks to admire such things from the window. Bruce however didn't notice and went on his way.
Suddenly, he felt a force pull, keeping him from moving coming from behind. He turned around and saw Diana herself grabbing his waistcoat while staring at the books presented on the windows
"Look at how they look all piled up, Bruce!" Diana smiled in delight
Bruce took a closer look and saw an old fashioned book of some sort with flailing details on the cover
He slowly turned his head to see Diana, and when he did…
"Can we please take a detour, Bruce…"
A certain Amazon giving him such a look on her face that could even melt even the Batman himself
Which means himself.
Bruce tried to look away, especially knowing that taking her up on this offer would only hinder their time on the sparring planned, but as he did, he found himself staring at her even more as she would lean closer whenever he would take a step back
"I uhhh…"
Diana leaned even more closer to him as Bruce could almost smell her scent even more up this close. A combination of fresh jasmine and lavender which makes it even more harder to resist
And just like that…
"Fine."
Diana jumped in delight as she took his hand and led him inside the bookshop where the shelves are kept.
Inside, the whole mood was different. It was silent and every footstep echoed through the empty halls.
It was a big shop for a bookshop indeed
They made their way through the bookshelves, from encyclopedias to the dictionaries, from the newspapers to the old tabloids strewn all over the table
And after a whole minute of searching, they finally stumbled upon the book that Diana was searching
"It looks very wonderful, don't you think?" Diana bubbled in joy
Bruce took a closer look at the book and noticed the unique markings from the seams
"It looks very old fashioned…"
"Actually it is from an old library that my grandmother had back in the day"
A certain voice coming from behind caught their attention. It was a nice old lady who seems to be tending the shop
"Oh forgive me for prying, my name is Emma"
"Not at all" Bruce responded sharply
Diana immediately came next to the old lady with her nose twitching of interest
"You know the history of this book, ma'am?"
The old lady chuckled in response as she led Diana to a chair near the bookshelf
"It actually belonged to my Grandmother who used to keep books that radiated fairy tales and such" Emma narrated
Diana's eyes widened upon hearing the word 'fairy tale'
"I love Fairy Tales, I didn't know this book was one" she babbled in excitement
"What's the story about?"
Emma gave a smile of assurance as her attention was caught by Bruce who was reading a book across the table
"It's actually a very romantic story of a love that sees no boundaries whatsoever" she explained
"A love that has no boundaries?" Diana repeated
"Yes, I'm pretty sure that you and your husband would love that one" The old lady nodded with a wink
Diana blushed upon hearing her statement, it wasn't everyday that you'd hear such a jest about them being together
"We're not actually together, ma'am" Diana murmured with hesitance
The old lady got confused there for a second
"You and that young man over there aren't lovebirds?"
Diana only gave a hurtful smile in response which the old lady immediately caught upon
"That's a shame, I saw the way you were looking at him. I knew that look from a mile away and it only indicated one thing"
Intrigue caught upon the Amazon while listening to the old lady's remark
"Love." Emma finished
Diana didn't know what to respond as she found herself literally speechless and tongue tied. She never really saw Bruce on that light before, nor had feelings of this "love" thing
But perhaps it could be it
The old lady then gave the book to Diana with a warm smile on her face
"Keep it young lady, I know you'd take care of it better" Emma stated
"but, I thought this was important to you?"
"It was, but I know that it would be better in your hands. Besides nobody cares about Fairy Tales that much anymore nowadays"
"Well, I'd gladly take it if that's what you want ma'am. I would take good care of it" Diana responded
"I know you would— but that's it for now, I have some more calls to tend to. Do enjoy the rest of your day with your husband… I mean friend" Emma stated
"Likewise ma'am" Diana responded with a warm smile
xXx
"What did you guys talk about anyways, that sure took long"
"Oh it's just about the book, nothing important at all"
"Really, what about it?"
"I didn't take you for the bookworm type, Bruce" Diana responded as she gave him a leer
"We literally have a library at the Manor, what did you expect?" He responded
"Really, I didn't know that. Maybe I should take a look for myself sometime…" She uttered in a more teasing way
"Yeah, be my guest." Bruce sharply responded
Diana heaved out a sigh of disappointment upon hearing his half-effort response. Its things like this that makes her think otherwise if she really did have something going on with the insensitive Bat
On their way, Diana remembered that she had to go buy bread for tomorrow's breakfast and some vegetables for dinner
And so they stopped by the grocery which was completely not what was on the plan of their Sunday
Bruce had no complaints though, He also needed to buy something for himself like a new box of his favorite cereal
Upon entering the grocery, Diana immediately leaned to Bruce's side and whispered
"Brings back memories, isn't it?"
He immediately turned to her who had a big smug smirk on her face
"I sure di'nt know you had such a voice in you, Chuck" Diana teased in a southern accent
Immediately, Bruce remembered that awfully embarrassing day where he had to impersonate a fake southern accent just to get suspicions out of the way
Which unfortunately, were all witnessed by the Amazon that is the last person that he wanted to
He then hid his face with his palm as he cringed on the spot
"You still remember that?" He asked
"Of course I do, that's something that will never be erased in my mind"
"Please, that was ages ago"
"More like a few months ago…" Diana responded with a teasing look on her eyes
"You really enjoyed that, huh. Well what about that time when we went to New York and you thought the statue of liberty was Giganta"
Now it was the Amazon's turn to cringe as she literally remembered that embarrassing day
And now the mischievous Amazon was all quiet. This brought a smile to Bruce's face knowing he found a way to counter her feeble teasing
"I don't understand Bruce, remembering that awful scene is painful to me for some reason— as if I want to go hide myself under a rock or something" Diana mumbled
"It'd do that sometimes, it happens often when you mature. You reminisce things about your past which would really hit a nerve"
"Really, that's new for me… at least" Diana responded
"Does this happen to you often, Bruce?"
"Sometimes."
"Really, you must've had an eventful past huh" Diana jested yet again
"Yeah. Eventful."
Bruce stated in a sudden gloom which Diana instantly noticed. She was confused at first but eventually caught up
"I'm sorry, Bruce." Diana mumbled slowly, her voice lingering of regret and guilt
Bruce took notice of this and had decided to alleviate the mood
"Anyways, look at this Diana, It's the cereal that I eat every morning" He stated while showing her a row of cereals on a shelf
Diana watched the vibrant colors coming from each box, all with different flavors in them
"Is it really that good, Bruce? Donna said she really likes them though" Diana wondered
"Maybe I should try some for myself."
"Yeah, we always have a whole load at the refrigerator every time" Bruce responded as he shifted his attention to the boxes
He awaited for an answer or even a witty comeback from the Amazon herself which unfortunately never happened. A sudden surge of silence engulfed between the two of them for some reason
Bruce turned around and saw Diana flustered for some reason while looking at the ground.
"Is there something wrong with what I said?"
"Bruce—" Diana slowly muttered
"You said the cereals at the Manor will always be available…"
"Yeah, and?" Bruce interjected
Diana took a deep breath before looking at him in his eyes
"So you expect me to spend every morning at the Manor?"
The shock that invaded Bruce was like a quick jolt from Zeus himself upon realizing it. It was definitely a blunder for decades and he didn't even realize it
"Well, umm…"
And just as quick as Zeus' bolt, Diana's expression also shifted from gloom and fluster to confident and smug
"Oho, so you do want me to stay at the Manor that bad—"
"Shut up." Bruce retorted in embarrassment
"Since we're gonna share the same Manor, perhaps we should also share the same room, the same cereal," Diana teased even more intensely as he leaned close unto his ear as she whispered
"Perhaps the same bowl and spoon?"
Bruce almost dropped his box of cereal upon hearing that
"Would you please stop that!" Bruce yelled which caught a lot of attention from the grocery
"Sorry…" he added in a more passive shy tone
Bruce felt defeated and embarrassed, with what just happened
Diana however is all shambles laughing feintly at the man himself to the point that she had tears on the corner of her eyes
Bruce couldn't help but watch make a fool out of himself yet again in front of the annoying lady in front of him. It was like before, and now she has another embarrassing memory of him that would last for decades
xXx
It was almost Afternoon as they found themselves in a coffee shop. The whole Grocery incident was still fresh in his mind but it didn't happened just once
For when they were about to pay for everything, he realized that he had forgotten his wallet back at the Manor and he was yet again met with the barrage of laughter from the Amazon
And of course, she ended up paying for everything
As if his pride couldn't be crushed even more…
The whole day was eventful indeed for after the bookshop and grocery, they stumbled upon a certain dress shop that had all the colorful dresses that would attract any woman's attention
Which includes an Amazon
And now they ended up in this shop enjoying a nice starbucks coffee in each other's table
Bruce couldn't help but notice how Diana seemed happy throughout the day. And it was evident with how she is at the moment
He found himself staring at her more so than usual that eventually she caught him on the act
Of course, Bruce looked away in desperation of not making it seem awkward for the both of them. Diana however smiled to herself knowing Bruce was probably thinking at her
And so she decided to start a conversation
"You know Bruce, this also brings back memories.."
"Really?" he responded
"Remember that rainy day when we met at the grocery but had to leave in separate?" she stated
"I actually came in this coffee shop and I saw you all drenched up from the window"
"You saw that also?" Bruce asked
"Of course I did"
Bruce groaned in response as he takes a sip of his black coffee. He never expected someone to see him in such a state, especially her.
Diana leaned in on her palm as she was just enjoying watching Bruce at the moment. He always were adorable to her in his own little ways
Such as when he gave her that umbrella
"I hope you didn't catch a cold because of that, Bruce"
"I actually did." He responded sharply
Diana froze into thick ice upon hearing that
"You did?" She asked in frantic
Bruce uttered a slight chuckle upon seeing Diana's all worried face
"Well, it wasn't anything serious." He said
It was clear from the Amazon's face that she wasn't very satisfied with his response, especially the look that she was giving him
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Bruce asked in a joking manner
"Because—" Diana whined
"You put yourself in a terrible state because of me…"
"That doesn't amount to anything, so you don't need to worry about that" he replied
"But I am worried!"
"I told you already princess, I'm expendable…"
"Bruce!" She grunted in fury
Bruce heaved out another chuckle upon seeing how worked up the Amazon is getting
"Don't ever say that again, even as a joke. You know how mad I get when you even mention something of the sort" she added
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry"
"I'm serious Bruce, you always put yourself in such situations for others. You need to take care of yourself every once in a while too." Diana nagged in a sluggish manner
"Hah, if that really is a big deal for you, then how about you take care of me when I get sick again?" Bruce jested as he takes a bite of his doughnut
The doughnut was definitely good, especially dipped in an exotic chocolate syrup exported straight from Sweden. It tasted so good that Bruce immediately forgot what he just said
And so there was silence between them
"This doughnut is really good Diana, you should try them ou—"
Bruce raised his head and saw a particular Amazon with her face all red for some reason. She was just staring at the ground which seemed peculiar. It was like earlier from the grocery all over again
"Diana?" He called out
"Oh umm— yeah it is!" Diana stuttered in nervousness
Bruce was definitely suspicious of her sudden demeanor but he didn't mind that much
"You need to go to the bathroom or something?"
"not really."
"Okay, was it something I said?"
There was no response from Diana, which only meant it was. Bruce heaved out another sigh as he finished his doughnut
"Look Diana, if it was about that joke earlier then I apologize" He stated
"Well its… different" She responded
"Different?"
Diana gave him a quick glance and looked away immediately afterwards.
"Alright, how about I make it up on you on the sparring later?" Bruce suggested
"I can teach you a thing or two about reversals"
"That sounds wonderful" Diana responded in delight
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure we would ha…."
Bruce suddenly got taken aback upon seeing how dark it had gotten from the window outside. It was definitely something that he wasn't expecting
xXx
"Well I guess we'll have to reschedule."
Bruce stated as he stood in front of Diana's apartment door. It was too dark for them to go on with their plan and so they decided to just call it a day
"I guess we will, Bruce." Diana responded in a sincere manner
"I'm sorry we didn't really carry out the plan that you wanted, you must be really disappointed with how this day turned out to be"
A sudden gush of wind then blew out of nowhere as Bruce's disheveled hair is flowing with the breeze. It was starting to get cold indeed
"Didn't know it was this cold here during nighttime"
"Bruce"
He then turned to the Amazon upon hearing her call his name
When he did, he felt something in reflex as Diana leaned in close to his cheek, planting a nice kiss on it. Donna, who was watching from the door, was blushing very hard on the background when she saw this
"I enjoyed being with you today…" She whispered softly
Bruce couldn't believe it as he caressed his cheek. It was something that he didn't expect all throughout
But if she did enjoy their Sunday, then there should be nothing to be worried about. Bruce then gave her a smile of reassurance as response
"Have a good evening, princess" he stated alongside with a small nod to the little Amazon watching them from the door before slowly walking away to the opposite direction
Diana was just watching him slowly leave as she found herself waving at him
After a few moments of just waving at thin air, Diana finally comes back to her senses as she goes inside of her apartment. Upon doing so, she immediately collapsed to the bed out of embarrassment
"I can't believe I just did that…" she uttered with her voice all disheveled from the bed sheets
Donna took notice of this and decided to comfort her older sister
"He didn't seem to mind that much" Donna jested
This statement made her fluster even more as she got even more red as seconds went by.
"How am I supposed to face him next time we meet!" Diana whined
"I'm so dumb, why did I even do that!"
Donna chuckled nonchalantly seeing her sister like this, but it was true overall
Even though she would deny it multiple times, there was no denying the fact that she is head-over-heels in love with him
"Why can't you just tell him how you feel sister?"
"I HAVE NO SUCH THING!" Diana immediately denied in defense
"Yes you do!"
"I don't!"
"You invited him over a sparring on a Sunday— Sister, you never do exercises on Sundays." Donna explained
"It was just an excuse to be spend the day with him isn't it?"
Diana may have been irritated from her little sister's feeble jests but a big smile formed on her face. She knew it herself already but her stubbornness still gets the best of her
Despite being an Amazon, Diana is still indeed a woman at heart
A woman in love that is.
And that concludes Diana's wonderful Sunday which ended on a happy note….

"Do forgive me for being out Master Bruce, I had some affairs to take care of" The British butler stated
"I didn't cause that much trouble, did !?"
Bruce chugged a portion of his orange juice as he sat from the veranda from the Wayne Manor
"You have no idea, Alfred."
