Lincoln was at home, and he was being given a cast by Lisa herself, and he was lying on the couch with his leg in extreme pain from the leg sweep Bones had given him. It was like splinters or nails being lanced or pierced into the dermis of his knee and calf, or a knife was stuck in his knee, going through both angles. Luna looked so guilty and was sitting in the corner, thinking about how she let her own brother get injured like this in the first place, and wondered if she should just leave her only brother out of this for his own safety.

"Luna, are you okay?" Asked Lynn Sr with him and his wife looking a their superhero daughter.

"No, man!" Luna exclaimed, feeling like crying her eyes out in guilt. "My own baby bro is hurt bad because of me! I never meant for any of this to happen. I... I didn't expect that scumbag to hurt him like this." then she turned away, feeling like she doesn't deserve to look at her brother for getting him injured like this. She went up to him, still looking guilty about earlier before gently putting a left hand on his tummy (she had her blue gloves off, leaving them naked). "Lincoln... I am so sorry I got you into this mess. It's all my fault."

Lincoln gave her a sympathetic look, and replied: "Luna, it's okay. It's not your fault."

"Yeah, honey." Rita said. "That guy was probably just too strong for Lincoln to handle since he doesn't have powers, and since that Bones is a professional bounty hunter with years of combat experience."

"I'll say. I've seen a few episodes of Bones and how he catches the bad guys." Lynn Sr added, "But to hurt our own son like this? It's unforgivable!"

"Some human beings only care about money and profit, father." Lisa said. "Not all people, but some. Some human beings will think dirty or unfairly enough to achieve their goals and money."

"No kidding." said Lori. "But Luna, it's not your fault."

"If we're going to blame anyone, it's that dirtbag bounty hunter." Lynn sounded angry, and cracked both her knuckles. "Just let me at 'em and I will break his neck. I swear to that."

"Easy, LJ." said the father. "We appreciate you doing this on Lincoln's account, but you couldn't last one minute against that guy."

"She's right," Mason said. "You have no idea what that Bones is capable of. He almost got us killed, and he wiped have wiped me, Luna, and Sam out if not for Yakov coming to save us."

"I may not know you very long, Lincoln." The mechanical Ukrainian admitted, "but I can see that you are a strong comrade on the inside. You're tough and you didn't even cry a single tear from your eyes. But do not worry, Lincoln, you will be alright. As long as you keep yourself off that leg."

"He's right, sweetie." said Rita, "you're probably even tired from fighting Bones after putting up quite a fight with you."

"Yeah. But I tried to give it all I got." Lincoln said before grunting a little in pain. "I tried fighting him but... he was too strong-" Luna comforted him by gentle shushing him and rubbing his large head.

"It's okay, buddy. It's not your fault, it's mine."

"Come on, Luna, don't be so hard on yourself." Lori said, "these things literally just happen."

"Okay, okay." Luna sighed, "I'll try not to be too hard on myself."

"And don't worry, Lincoln," said Sam. "We will avenge you but really hurting that guy. I'll make him feel like he landed on a power line from skydiving."

"And I'll burn him alive for this." Mason added.

"And I will make him feel like he is in a gulag once I am finished with him." Yakov added. "It will make him beg for death to come and save him."

"Whoa whoa whoa there, killer." said Luan. "That sounds a little barbaric."

"Well good luck finding him." said Lynn Sr

"Isn't Chief Duncan trying to look for him?" Leni asked

"He is working on it," said Lincoln. "But the police say it might take a whole because he is very sneaky and slippery, according to the police files- ow!"

"Man, bro." said Lynn, "you sound horrible. Not to worry though, I'll give it a nice massage to make it feel better."

Lincoln then freaked out and his eyes widened like pool balls, and he exclaimed: "No! No no no no no. That will not be necessary, Lynn." He gave a nervous smile at her, "but like my friends and sister said: I just need to stay off the leg until it gets better." Then he turned on the TV and flipped thr channels to see if there was anything good on it. So far there was nothing good for him to see.

Meanwhile, Luna and the other heroes bid him a "get well soon" type of words from their mouths and apologized that he is unable to fight crime for the time being. Something tells Lincoln that it's going to be a boring time for him for a little while. Alas, there was nothing he can do to heal his leg fsr more faster than a usual recovery rate.

Deep down, Luna still felt like it was her fault a little bit. Still, she needed to still this bounty hunter from trying to kill her or her family and friends. She didn't care if he was way up her league in combat, she needed to take Bones down by any means necessary and put in end to his hunt.

The doorbell rang and Lola answered it, revealing it to be Clyde, who gasped when he saw Lincoln with his crippled leg. "Lincoln!" He gasped when he saw his own nest friend in this condition

"My gosh, it's worse than I thought. Lori told me what happened. Are you okay?" He began hyperventilating in a brown paper bag as if he thought Lincoln was going to die of a very deadly disease very soon. He had no idea what to do without Lincoln in his life.

"Clyde, buddy, calm down." Lincoln reassured him, "I'm okay... mostly."

"He'll be fine, Clyde." Luna reassured him after. "Doctor says he needs to stay off that leg for at least a week, or maybe two or three weeks."

"Good. You gave me quite a scare, buddy." Clyde sighed in relief.

"Well, come on guys," said Mason. "We have a brute to catch and see who he is working for."

"Whoever is paying him must have a good amount of money." Sam remarked.

"Da, a human will do anything for one million dollars. It would be so enticing for someone to be offers a reward for creating a task such as killing Luna or capturing her for the client to kill personally." Yakov speculated. "He could he hiding somewhere and we need to be prepared for anything."

"Totally," Luna said. The heroes then went out the house, into the snowy atmosphere of Royal Woods in winter, and went to search for Bones, and possible the client who hired him to take care of the rocker girl. Poor Lincoln was bummed that he has to missed this, but he had no choice but to follow the doctor's orders.

Lisa looked very sympathetic for her elder brother and frowned as she looked back at him while going back upstairs to finish whatever experiment she was working on. A new idea came into her head. Maybe she can create an elixir or a vial that could heal his leg in a snap, in a very painless manner of course. It might take a little time for her to create the brew or elixir, but she loved Lincoln just as much as the rest of the sisters love him.

She knew how much Lincoln wanted to spend time with her sister Luna in fighting crime and stopping bad guys from running amok, and Lisa wanted to make him happy. At least, she wanted to tru and heal that leg faster than how it would normally heal for a person. In the meantime, got started on it and promised herself not to give it to Lincoln until it was perfect and have no side-effects whatsoever.

Meanwhile, out searching for Bones, Luna looked back at the direction where her house was and worried about her only brother, knowing that Lincoln was bummed out that he was not going to be able to fight crime for a little while now. At least he was in good hands at home with the other family members looking after him.

There was a small explosion below in the ground and Yakov pulled over his car to the side of the road to check it out, and the flying heroes come down from the sky to look for themselves. From one of the buildings, it was a jewelry store robbery and it was Abomination with the Stephenson brothers backing him up. "Well boys, I hope you like all the money we make when we sell these jewels online." said Abomination.

"Robbing jewelry stores, Abomination?" Luna said, stepping in front of then by about ten feet and looking smug. "That's more like something a girl can do."

"Oh shut up." Frank said. "Anyone can rob a jewel shop, just as long as they are one of the most priceless things on her. I can finally open my own bar."

"And I can get dad out of jail." Paul added

"And I can finally go to Tahiti!" Malcolm added.

"The only places you will be seeing," said Mason heroically, "are the in the Royal Woods prison."

"Come and get us, heroes- wait. Where's that boy who helps you?"

"Lincoln is..." Luna tried to explain it without being silly, but she couldn't find the right words for a response."

"Out of action." Sam blurted.

"Yeah! Totally. Out of action." Luna snapped her fingers at the idea.

"Oh, is he sick or something?" Abomination had mock-sympathy in his voice.

"That is not important, you foul beast!" Yakov said, "now you will face the wrath of justice!" A big fight broke out between the forces of good and once more, Yakov got in a fistfight with Frank, and he easily outmatched by the cyborg as he felt his right hand about to be crushed like a walnut as if he had his hand caught in a metal claw.

Frank yelled in pain and he kicked Yakov in the right shin, but it just really hurt his own leg considering how the outside of the cyborg's armor was made of metal shd steel.

Luna, Mason, and Electrifier were all aiming their arms and giving him all they had got with their powers. "You stupid heroes are getting on our nerves! You have been a thorn on my side for so long, Luna Frost!"

"That makes one us, man!" Luna retorted.

"I am not a man anymore!" Abomination shouted before he felt his back being shocked by Sam.

"How do you like that, freak?" Sam shouted triumphantly. Before she knew it, he saw Abomination make a great jump and slapped her face with the back of his left hand, knocking Sam out and landing on a car, making the alarm go off.

Luna gasped and she got really angry with fury at the supervillain. She gritted her teeth and zoomed down on Krunk's face with an ice fist in her hand, knocking the former-man out into a brick wall. Yakov seemed to have easily dealt with the Stephenson brothers and had them tied up.

Mason then finished off Krunk by giving him a great punch in the chest and dragging him on the streets, scraping the pavement on the road. "That was for hurting Sam!" Mason shouted before spitting at the direction the beast was at. Luna immediately ran to the car where Sam fell on and she cradled her in her arms.

"Sam, speak to me." Luna said.

"Ugh... Luna. I'm fine." Sam said. "No sores or bug bruises. Although... I think there is some sores on my back."

Luna chuckled and said: "oh, you're fine, Sam." Then a new thought came in her head, and she was still worrying about Lincoln so much. "Guys... I wanna go back and keep my baby bro some company. I don't want him to be bored or all alone if no one's home. I mean... it's just for a while."

"Oh. Well... I guess that's fine. I like a person and comrade who puts family before anything else." Yakov said.

"We're fine with it, Luna." Mason added. "We know how much you love him, and I think it's sweet you want to be with him right now."

"Yeah, and besides," Sam said, "that Bones guy could be anywhere in Royal Woods. He can be uptown or downtown."

"Good point, Sam. A sister's gotta do what a sister's gotta do." Luna promptly created an ice slide and flew back to her own house. She opened the door and saw Lynn writing on Lincoln's cast, much to his annoyance. "Lincoln?" Luna said

"Oh! Hi Luna." Lincoln noticed. "Not that I'm not happy to see you, but what are you doing back here? I thought you were fighting crime out there."

"Yeah but... I couldn't leave ya here like that, dude. I think you deserve some quality time with your big sis to keep ya company."

"Really?" Lincoln looked flattered. "Thanks, Luna."

"That's what sisters are for." Luna gently patted his head. She sat down next to him while Lynn left the room, bummed that she was not going to be able to write words on her brother's cast anymore. It was a nice thing for Luna to come spend some time with Lincoln and have a little fun with him.

Sometimes, she would create ice packs for him every once in a while to make his leg not hurt so bad as it once was.
