The remaining three Superheroes were fighting off a bunch of goons that were robbing a hazardous material power plant led by Living Taser and Hairdoom themselves. "Come on you morons!" said the unhinged electric man. "Put your backs into it! They are just amateurs!" Turns out he and his new deranged girlfriend were watching the whole thing from afar at a safe distance since they were mildly cowardly when it comes to fighting their foes or enemies. Typical for some supervillains to do; being mildly cowardly and having their hitmen do the jobs for them. Of course, Hairdoom and Living Taser were not completely cowardly. No, they would fight if they had to as a last resort.
"Graahhh! These henchmen can be useless! Why can't we find more capable men?" Hairdoom complained. "I guess we should take care of them ourselves, my darling."
"I concur with you fully, sugar-lips." Taser agreed, "Like that old saying: if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself... whoever said that. It had to be someone famous. Do you know Hairdoom?"
"Unfortunately... no." Hairdoom replied. They were silent for a few brief seconds, and then they both cackled in the sky before going down from the ledge and taking care of the three heroes. It was a piece of cake for Mason, Sam, and Yakov to take down the henchmen that the crazed lunatics, for they were all on the snowy ground, knocked out and unwilling to fight. A large bucket of hazardous material even leaked after one of the henchmen accidentally turned it over after Sam punched him in the face.
The substance was a green, glowing substance and the three heroes stood clear (Of course, none of the henchmen touched the toxic substance.) And it seemed rather acidic, for the snow and some of the cement was burning, as if the substance was as hot as the earth's core. Angered, Hairdoom and Taser growled, and were more than ready to fight the three heroes more than ever. "Do you heroes have any idea how hard it is to look for those kinds of substances?!" Taser screamed.
"Sorry to have a storm over your heads." Sam said. "But your days are numbered!"
"We'll just see about that, Electrifier!" said Taser. Then an all-out fight broke out between good and evil once more. Mason was fighting Hairdoom, who was briefly caught in her clutches, making her laugh maniacally.
An idea came to Mason's head and he said: "Wait! Wait! Wait. Parodnez-moi, Hairdoom, but I see a couple of flies in your hair."
The hair villain made a shriek and immediately, and unintentional let Mason go to tend to her own hair. Something that she cared about more than almost anything in the world (Except for her own daughter of course), and she was waving her arms around her long, mutant hair to get the supposed flies out of it. Little did the crazy villain know that this was only a petty trick and a distraction. "Get out of my beautiful hair, you pesky, buzzing vermin!" she exclaimed at the supposed flies.
"Psych!" Mason said before kicking her in the face, knocking her out, instantly losing consciousness.
Living Taser was fighting with Sam and Yakov, and the Ukranian cyborg man was firing his prized AK-47 assault rifle at him and shot as many bullets at Living Taser, but the bullets had little effect. Still, that did not stop Yakov from picking up a nearby car and throwing it at him with his arms' immense strength.
The vehicle hit Living Taser like a fly swatter, and it made the villain crash into the snowy ground like a falling comet from outer space. "That's how it's done." Yakov said triumphantly. A couple of men with hazmat suits from the nearby factory, and took care of all the toxic waste the two supervillains had tried to steal before the heroes arrived and carefully got a hold of the large barrels. "Thank you so much for saving our supplies, Color Fire, Electrifier and Steel Soldier. The consequences would have been deathly if you had arrived too late." said one of the hazmat workers.
"Not that we're not grateful for your help, but where's Luna Frost and Lincoln?"
Sam, Mason, and Yakov didn't want to giveaway the secret location to protect them, so Mason replied. "They are a little busy at the moment."
"Yeah, very very busy." Sam added sheepishly. "But they will go back to fighting crime again."
"Da. It just takes a little time. For now, it is just us three heroes and comrades against the forces of evil here."
"Well, at least we do have some superheroes." Said a third hazmat man. "Thanks again." Then the factory workers put the toxic waste back in the factory so it wouldn't cause any more damage. They do not call the substance "toxic waste" for nothing. Suddenly, it was just then when the police came and arrested Taser and Hairdoom, along with their hitmen.
Looked like another day was saved by good. However, somethijg surprised tbe three heroes. A grenade just appeared in front of them, and Yakov wss the first one to recognize what it was, and made a small yell before hurriedly grabbing the grenade and tossing it under a sewer hatch before it could blow up and turn the three heroes into cooked pieces of meat.
The loud explosion was mildly felt underground like a small earthquake, and the blast of it was still loud, but slightly muffled. "Where did that grenade come from?" Sam asked.
"From me." Said a sinister, familiar voice. It was Bones, who had done an acrobatic landing from one of the roofs of the public buildings. He pulled out his two swords and he wss ready for a fignt. "Where is Luna? Give her to me!"
"Not a chance, you sloppy scum!" Yakov said. He charged and dodged ma y swings from Bones' sowrds, then the two were fighting one on one again. Yakov was still fighting as fierce as ever, and he had hit Bones a couple of times in the chest, and the face, but the mercenary dodged and gave the Ukranian man a painful uppercut to the face.
Before Yakov could get it, he felt the bounty hunter press his right foot against his neck, intending to crush the windpipe, but Yakov was clever and kicked Bones in the groin.
It did hurt, but Bones was tough, and je tried swinging his swords at the Steel Soldier, but Yakov would use his metal arms to block the swings, and he gave the bounty hunter a painful headbutt on the forehead. This fight was getting more intense every second.
Still, Mason and Sam rushed to help their friend, snd Sam shocked Bones a couple of times by placing a hand on his shoulder, but it only stunned him by making him fall to his knee, and grunt. "Not bad." Bones panted.
Mason had the opportunity to give him a powerful punch with a fist made of green fire. Indeed, this battle wss getting more intense.
