Luna looked uneasy since the abusive parents of Elroy just called her and demanded her and Elroy to come and meet them both alone with no help. No other heroes, no cops, no service animals, or any other family members, only Luna and Elroy. Obviously, they were both out for revenge. It made the icy superhero cringe at the feeling of encountering those horrible kind of people that would just brutalize their own child in cold-blood just for supposedly ruining their lives. Most people know that having a child in life is a blessing and not a curse in life, and how nice it is to have a son or daughter to love and care for until they are independent enough to live by themselves or go to college.

Still, the rocker girl had to do something, for she didn't know what else to do. Elroy's abusive parents were at the restaurant and had countless hostages in their grasp, including Jeff and Tammy. Luna couldn't just sit here and do nothing, she had to do something to save those innocent lives!

She sighed and got off the booth after she hung up the phone. Luna didn't want to see the poor boy sad again, or have something bad happen to him involving him and his parents, but she needed to save innocent lives once again. Looking serious, Luna slowly, but calmly went up to Lincoln and Elroy, who were playing Blaster Disaster against mercenaries sent by an evil galactic overlord. "Dudes," Luna said under her breath, "We gotta talk. Please, turn off the game and come outside with me. We have to chat."

Both Lincoln and Elroy frowned and were a little bummed that they were stopped in the middle of this good game. "What's the matter, Luna?" Lincoln asked

"We got a problem." Luna said. "Come on, we can play latter." the boys were reluctant, but they still went outside in the winter atmosphere to talk with Luna about what was going on at the moment. "Now, I was on the phone and Elroy, don't get scared, but... it was your mom and dad calling."

The boy gasped and he did get scared, despite what his babysitter said. "what?"

"Calm down, buddy. Calm down. Just listen. I will not let anything bad happen to you. Just listen carefully" she then explained to the boys, while Dave was listening, about what was going on at the restaurant hostage crisis. Lincoln carefully unleashed the flat-coated retriever and the dog happily walked next to Elroy. "So listen, we need to go over there, alone. And don't worry, Elroy, I will make sure they won't hurt you."

"But what if they do shoot me?" Elroy was starting to cry a little, and turned his back away from the three friends he had. "They are dangerous and you... you don't know what they are capable of as much as I do."

"Maybe," said Lincoln, but they don't have powers. And whatever Luna has planned, it is good. Right Luna?"

"Totally. We just have to catch your rents by surprise, dude." Luna explained. "Here's what we need to do." she and the others huddled around together, with Dave sitting next to Elroy, and panting with his tongue out, Luna explained to them something rather sneaky and very well-thought out. Lincoln and Dave liked this idea, whatever it was, even Elroy liked where this was possibly going. The Loud Family may be... chaotic at numerous occasions, but they do all have goo plans (Most of the time.) This plan sounded like it was going to work, and they all had to act fast. "Lincoln, I need you to tell the others back home about what is going on, and wait until i give you the signal."

"You got it, Luna. Be careful with these guys, Luna." Lincoln said. "They could be unpredictable."

"Don't worry about me, baby bro. Just stick with the plan." then Luna looked at the boy, "Elroy, don't worry. I will protect you and save your aunt and uncle." she knelt down on her right knee and gently places her left hand on the boy's shoulder. "I promise. Cross my heart. Now come on, we need to save them." While still looking nervous about this whole plan, he nodded his head, which meant he agreed to go along with this idea.

In front of the restaurant, Luna and Elroy noticed that there was no one in front of the building. Either everyone heard about the little hostage situation, or Elroy's highly abusive parents have taken them hostage as well. Still, Luna had to do something to save all those innocent people from having a bullet in their heads from these two sick, twisted people from causing any more destruction. "It'll be okay, little buddy." Luna said to him, holding his little hand. "Are you ready?"

Still a tad bit uncertain about this idea Luna came up with, he ultimately said: "Yes. Let's save Uncle Jeff and Aunt Tammy."

Luna smiled and said: "At a boy. Now come on, and let's save them." they boy slowly went inside the building where a line of employees were tied up against the walls and gagged with duct tapes over their mouths. They all cheered in a muffled yell when they saw Luna Frost, knowing they will be saved soon enough.

"Come on, brother." said a voice that sounded like it came from the dinning room. It sounded a lot like Jeff. "It doesn't have to be this way!"

"Shut up, Jeff!" said a voice that sounded like Elroy's abusive father. "That kid is responsible for the death of our firstborn son, it's his fault Tommy is gone!"

"It was not his fault!" Tammy exclaimed on the other side of the room. "Elroy is just a child, he didn't kill his own brother!" then she felt her face being smacked by Elroy's mother.

"You be quiet! Tommy was everything to us!" said Elroy's mother. "It is all Elroy's fault that he is gone! He has to pay!"

"Uncle Jeff and aunt Tammy!" Elroy quietly screamed.

"Relax, relax, just keep holding my hand and we'll be fine." said the rocker girl. She took a breath, and kicked the dining room door open with her right foot with such force, and she found the abusive parents holding the guests, employees, and everyone else as hostages. "Hey! Dirtbags!" she called. "You looking for us?"

The parents looked and they smiled evilly as they saw their targets come right to them, "perfect." said Elaine. "you both came along. How delightful."

"Indeed. Now we can have our revenge on both of you." Kirk smiled. Both these horrible parents had AK-47us in their hands, and they looked more than ready to cause a shootout.

"How did you guys even do this?" asked Luna

"Simple, we met a little friend that was more than happy to help us kill you." Kirk said. Barging in from the chef's kitchen, came a familiar face, large and intimidating. It was none other than Johnathan Krunk himself, along with the Stephenson brothers: Frank, Malcolm, and Paul.

Luna and Elroy gasped at what they were meeting with. "Miss us, Luna?" Abomination said, looking smug.

"Not even a little, Krunk." Luna said with her eyes narrowed.

"No matter. We both want the same thing. Revenge." Abomination said

"What is your deal with him, rents? He is just a kid."

"That kid is the one responsible for the death of our Tommy." Elaine pointed her finger at Elroy. "Our firstborn son. He was just passing his driver's test, and Elroy was driving with him and he wanted to go with him on a ride in his car, then he got in a little argument of what kind of music they wanted to listen to, and Elroy distracted Tommy from driving."

"And then his car crashed and he died from it." Kirk added. "So it is all his fault our firstborn boy is gone!"

Elroy shed more tears from his eyes. "It wasn't my fault." he said. "I never meant to kill him. It was an accident!"

"an accident you cause!" Kirk pointed his right finger. "Now we will avenge our first son!"

"How did you come across Abomination?"

"Simple," Elaine replied in a more calm voice. "He busted us out of jail and we made a deal. We have the head of Elroy, and he has the head of Luna on the wall."

"What kind of sick and twisted pair of parents are ya? You guys are insane!"

"Just a word." Kirk brushed it off. "Give us Elroy."

"No! Never! Let these people go!"

"After you give us the boy!" Elaine remarked.

Luna then gave a smart, sassy smile, and she whistled. Suddenly, the roof of the restaurant broke and it revealed to be a bunch of armed soldiers that looked like they were from the government. Not only these soldiers, but Mason, Sam, Yakov, Lincoln, and even Dave showed up (the dog came from the door Luna busted open that led to this room. Kirk, Elaine, Abomination, and the Stephenson brothers looked surprised. "What is this?" Frank said

"This is the plan of mine." Luna said with a smirk. As a matter of fact, her own brother and friends looked bold, minus Elroy, who was still a little sad. "Your time is up."

"You think you have your backup?" said Abomination. "I have my own henchmen, too."

he snapped his finger and a bunch of his henchmen came out from the kitchen. the hostages that weren't bound by rope immediately got out of the restaurant and fled for their lives. Some of the government soldiers freed the hostages and every one of them was out of the building so no innocent life would get hurt or killed. "Elroy get to cover!" Mason said.

"Okay!"

an all-out brawl happened in the restaurant. Vases broken, booths and chairs being punctured by bullets. Luna dodged many of the bullets by doing athletic dodges and it looked like something from the Matrix movie series. She froze a bunch of henchmen that Abomination hired and froze many guns.

Mason seemed to be the one who was fighting ferociously. He punched a dozen of his opponents with his fists of flame, making them fly into tables and walls, and he gave a powerful uppercut kick to Abomination, making the former-human fall on his back with a loud thud, and making him dizzy with his eyes rolling. He was fighting mire fiercely than usual, same with the rest of his friends.

Of course, many of the soldiers on the hero's side suffered some casualties as well. The side with the most casualties. Sam was firing some lighting bolts from her hands at her opponents and Yakov was pounding away at his woth his mechanical fists. The parents looked nervous, for they, Abomination, and the Stephenson brothers were outnumbered five to one.

Dave the retriever was being as vicious as a Rottweiler or a pit bull at Abomination's henchmen and he was biting and clawing at his enemies.

At last, the majority side which consisted of the heroes overpowered the forces of evil in this fight and a dozen police officers came the building and surrounded the parents. Instead of surrendering, and as a last resort, held their guns at the police and heroes, not wanting to go back to prison. They both appeared hesitant, mostly because they were outnumbered.

Luna raised her hands and froze the Stephenson brothers in their place, and Sam pulled out her hands to zap the two deranged parents into unconsciousness. "There. They are neutralized." Sam said.

Elroy couldn't help but run up to his parents while they were out cold. "Mommy, daddy?" he said as he knelt on his knees. Luna and the other heroes walked up to Elroy and Lincoln stood next to him. "Are you okay, Elroy?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." he closed his eyes in sadness. "But it wasn't my fault. I never meant for my brother's... accident to happen."

"Of course not, child." Yakov reassured him. "No one would ever mean for those kind of things to happen at all. After all, you are just a boy."

"Yeah, don't ever let anyone ever tell you that it was your fault." Mason said. "These things just happen unexpectedly. But it was not your fault."

Jeff and Tammy ran up to Elroy and hugged him tightly, along with Dave. "Elroy, are you okay?" asked Jeff.

"Yeah, I'm fine." the boy replied. "I just don't understand why a mommy and daddy would do this to their own kid. What kind of parents would just be mean to kids like that?"

"There are some people out there that are like that, sweetie." Tammy said. "No doubts about it. But not all parents are like that. Always remember that you have us, and we will always love you."

"Always." Jeff added. "So, if you want us to take you home, we understand."

"No. It's okay. I'm just glad you're ok. I want to stay with Luna a little more."

"Of course, champ." Jeff said. "Luna, what do you say?"

The rocker girl smiled and said: "totally, man. I'll spend more time with him longer. Besides, you probably didn't finish your dinner yet."

"True." Tammy admitted. "But perhaps a small bistro would be nice since the place is... a little trashed."

"Yeah, doesn't look romantic for me and my love here."

The police came and arrested the parents, along with Abomination and all his subordinates, hauling them off to jail. Elroy was a little sad seeing that police car who had his parents go down the road like that, but he knew that he was safe. "Luna, who are these soldier guys?"

"These are some of Jackal's finest soldiers in his security force." Sam replied.

"Who's he?"

"A friend of mine." Luna said.

Later in the Day

Elroy was playing with Lincoln, and Clyde at the arcade again. Dave was in this time since Luna persuaded the manager to let the dog in Gus's Games N Grub, and he was sitting at one of the booths next to Luna and having some pizza for himself that Elroy bought him.

Mason was with her as well and he watched as the kids were having fun together. "I hope Elroy will be ok."

"Me too, Mason. But, Jeff and Tammy said they will help him be brave and be happy." Luna said before taking a sip of her root beer. "Thanks for coming to help me."

"Always a pleasure, mon ami. Always." Mason replied. "We're superheroes and we all stick together."

"Got that right."

It was a little silent and a little awkward for these two, but Mason said at last: "so when we fight more villains, how should we deal with them?"

"Same as usual, put them in jail."

"And when we get to Paris, what would you like to do?"

"Well, I was thinking the Eiffel tower. Might be a good place to kiss and make out with Sam." Luna blushed a little. Mason,"

"Hmm?"

"Have you had a girlfriend before?"

"A couple, but some things just don't work out for all of us."

"Yeah, that's true."

"Why do you ask?"

"No reason. Just curious."

"I see. But oui, the Tour d'Eiffel is a nice little make-out spot under the moonlight." Before they knew it, the heroes slowly locked lips and they were suddenly kissing and making out. It was like fire and ice had formed into one element.
