Peter went to his old office. He had managed to get a flight a day early, and he wanted to surprise Neal with pastries he had brought straight from Morocco. The office was locked, the lights were off. He went down the hall to Hughes's office. The senior agent was there, flipping through a report.

"Peter," said Hughes, warmly, when Peter knocked on the doorframe.

"Hello, Reese. Do you happen to know where Diana and Neal went?"

"Diana and Jones are out. Neal is downstairs."

"Downstairs?"

Hughes got an amused look on his face, "that's right, you've been gone almost a month."

"Did something happen?"

"No, everything is fine."

Hughes looked at his watch, "go down to the 19th floor, room S28. He'll be done soon."

Peter did as Hughes had suggested. He found a hall of conference rooms and classrooms, and then the one labeled S28.

He opened the door. A room full of young agents, including Perry and Reyes, looked at him. Neal was near the front of the room, seated in his chair, as he showed one of the young agents something on one of the many locks on the tables before them. When he turned to look at Peter, his face lit up, "Peter!"

He waved at the group of agents, "keep working, I'll be right back."

He came up to the door, beaming, "I didn't think you were back until tomorrow."

"I got an earlier flight, I surprised El at the house, came here to surprise you. Hughes told me where to find you. I brought you fresh Briouat."

Neal's eyes widened, and he took the bag of Moroccan pastries with excitement, "Peter, you didn't!"

Peter grinned, "I did."

Neal took a deep sniff, "I am so excited, thank you. I'll be free in like 10 minutes."

Peter kissed him, enthusiastic but gentle. Neal kissed back, making a happy hum, and then a little moan, as they came up for air. Peter grinned, and kissed him again.

There was a sudden giggle, Peter broke the kiss to look at the door, just in time to see several agents jump back from the opening and scuttle a retreat into the classroom. Neal laughed, "I think they're onto us."

"Indeed," chuckled Peter. He kissed Neal again, and Neal gasped softly, clenching his hand in the back of Peter's hair.
