The Picpus cemetery was a nice little place to visit and honor Lafayette himself in his tombstone. For the next destination for the heroes and doctor Sebastien Dumas was Les Invalides, the tomb of many heroes of France, and great French military leaders throughout history and over the centuries. Of course, the most famous and main attraction of the whole historical site was Napoleon's sarcophagus. But first, Sebastien wanted to see another old friend that lived around this neighborhood in Paris, and the kids promptly followed him to what appeared to be an artist studio.

Suddenly, Jesse heard someone cry for help. "Aidez-moi! Aidez moi!" said a child's voice. "Eloignez-vous de moi, sal sac!"

A little thanks to Mason's French lesson in languages, Sam, Jesse, Lincoln, and Luna recognized that as "Help me! Help me! Stay away from me, you dirtbag!" from the person in trouble. "Uh-oh. Someone's in trouble." said Luna. "Come on dudes, let's see what's going on." everyone went to follow the voices of the person in trouble and traced it all the way back to a small alleyway.

"Aidez moi!" said the child. It was a blonde boy in a red jacket being mugged by seven armed men, and the boys parents were with him, looking just as frightened as their own son.

"Quelqu'un nous aide!" said the boy's father.

"Donnez-nous simplement votre argent et votre art et nous vous laisserons vivre (just give us your money and your art and we will let you live.)." said the leader of these muggers.

The mother tried stopping them but one of the goons slapped her in the face with his own gun, knocking her out. Luna, Lincoln, Sam, Mason, and Jesse looked pretty peeved at seeing this defenseless family get hurt.

"Aveline!" said the husband, tending to her knocked out wife. "Mon art n'est pas a vous! (my art is not yours for the taking)!"

"Tais toi! Preparez-vous a mourir (Shut up! Prepare to die)!" said the third robber.

At last, the kids couldn't stand it any longer. Just as soon as the robbers were about to point their revolver guns at the poor family, Mason blasted one of the seven robbers with a wave of green fire from his hands. The rest of the brutes looked surprised and looked at where the blast came from. "Leave those people alone, you fiends!" said Lincoln.

"Who are you?" said the leader. "You know we don't celebrate Halloween in France, right?"

"You cretins don't know who you are dealing with, n'est ce pas?" Luna asked.

"Run along before you get a bullet in your heads."

"And you do not want a bullet in your heads now, don't you enfants?" the third one asked

"Ok, you've asked for it." said Sam.

The seventh man got back up, and looked rather mad. "What kind of people are you?" He asked. Mason ran up and landed a fury of punches at the goon and he was merciless. The other men were about to shoot Mason, but Luna blasted their guns with ice waves, rendering them useless.

"Superheroes." said Mason

"Que'st-ce qu c'est?" the leader said in surprise, looking at his frozen weapon. Lincoln used his beam sword to fight with the third guy while Luna fought the second one with her fighting skills. Lincoln saw that the third man had a machete in his hands and tried landing some slices at him with his weapon, but Lincoln easily cut the weapon's blade in hand.

"That was your last mistake, garçon!" said the third robber.

"Au contraire." Lincoln smirked. He dodged many punches from the man, and began punching and kicking him int he face, making his nose bleed from so much blows. But suddenly, the fourth one grabbed Lincoln from behind, holding his arms

"Gotcha, kid!" said the fourth one. "Luc, frappez son ventre jusqu'a ce qu'il vomisse! (Punch him in the stomach until he vomits)!"

"Oui." Luc proceeded to punch Lincoln with his heavy punches. Luna caught sight of this and became very angry. Before the man could punch Lincoln a second time, Luna jumped on him, and froze him completely. The fourth goon let Lincoln go, and looked quite frightened.

"No one hurts my little bro!" she said. She froze the fourth brute next, and to Lincoln's surprise, she punched at the frozen man, breaking him in a bunch of ice pieces. She just killed him.

"Whoa." Lincoln said. "You okay, Luna?"

"Oui. I'm fine, Lincoln. I think I killed him."

"You will pay for zat, wench!" said the leader of the bad bunch. He charged at Luna, and tackled her, punching her in the face multiple times. Luna was slippery enough to kick him in the crotch, and get him off of her. Jesse himself was still using his new powers against the sixth and fifth bad guys, and he was doing great with his hand-to-hand combat.

Jesse even created gloves out of rocks and began flailing more painful punches at the fifth goon.

"What kind of people or these?" said the leader

"Luna Frost, Lincoln, Electrifier, Color Fire, and Meteor." said the boy. "Super-hero d'Amerique!"

"Quoi?" said the dad. "Les memes? (The same ones)?"

"Oui, papa."

"Non, ce n'est pas possible!" the leader exclaimed. he pulled out a pump-action shotgun from his trench coat, and aimed it at the heroes, but Sam caught notice of this and zapped a wave of electricity at the goon with her right hand. It was like a line of lightning had crashed into the human on a clear day in the capital of France. The boss of this vile gang was blabbering gibberish as he was being shocked, and he was knocked out cold.

Jesse then noticed the sixth guard charge at him with what looked like an AK-47 assault rifle, ready to gun the newest hero down. Luckily, Jesse raised some earth from the ground and used it as a shield from the bullets, and threw it at the crazed gunman, killing him instantly. At last, all the robbers were down and the fight was over. Luna went up to the family with Mason. "Are you ok?" asked Mason

"Oui. Thanks to you." said the father. "So you're ze American superheroes we've heard about."

"Wow, word is spreading fast." said Sam.

"Content que tu vas bien." Jesse said

It was just then the mother came back up and asked: "Qu'est-ce que c'est?"

"maman, Ce sont les héros dont je t'ai parle." the boy replied. "They saved us."

"You're the heroes we have heard about?" asked the mother.

"Oui. Je m'appelle Lincoln, madame." said he.

"Who were those guys?" asked Luna

"They were-"

"Gerard?" said a voice. The father looked to see the doctor, who was hiding in a safe distance from the fighting before. "Is that you?"

"Sebastien?" asked the father of the blonde boy. They both smiled and hugged one another as if they were brothers. "Sebastien. It is so wonderful to see you again. It's been so long."

"Je sais, mon frère. Je sais." Sebastian said after he let go of his friend. "It's been ten long years since we have seen each other."

"Where's Mason?" asked Gerard.

"Right here, Monsieur Senghor." Color Fire uncovered his mask to reveal himself. "It's good to see you again after all this time."

"Same, Mason. Look at how you have grown since the last time."

"Was it a good idea for you to remove your mask like that, Mason?" Jesse asked with concern.

"Don't worry, Gerard is a good friend," Color Fire replied. "We can trust him and his famile. They won't reveal my secret to random people. Right Claude?" he looked at the little boy."

"I won't tell. I promise." said the blonde child.

"Well, this is the man I told you about, kids." said Dr. Dumas. "Gerard Senghor."

"Bonjour." said everyone except Mason and his father

"Comment allez-vous?" asked Luna

"Ca va bien. Merci a toi." Gerard replied warmly. "This is my lovely wife, Aveline. And this is my son: Claude."

"Allo." said the boy while his mother just gave a small wave with a smile. "We've heard about you guys. But, shouldn't there be another?" he looked at the heroes. "Where is the Steel Soldier?"

"He's back home in America so that no trouble can arise while we are on vacation here." said Sam.

"And besides," said Jesse, "He's been here to Paris many times before. So it's not that big of deal. But I'll tell him you're a fan of him."

Claude looked a little bummed and he remarked: "Well I was hoping to meet him and get an autograph. But, oh well."

"Hey tell you what." said Luna, "When we come back here and bring Yakov this time, we'll be sure to have him autograph for you."

The blonde boy smiled. "Merci beaucoup." then he hugged Luna to show gratitude. The ice rocker girl blushed and she hugged him back to show how much she cared about him. Yes, Luna loved kids so much and she is good with them. "So how long will you all stay in Paris?"

"Oui, like a week?" asked Aveline.

"Uh-huh. It's for a week, and we just got settled in today."

"Parfait." said Gerard. "You all want to see my art collection? I have made a lot of paintings over the last few years."

"So that was your art studio we were going to?" asked Lincoln

"Oui. It was my lifelong dream to become an artiste and open my own studio for a person who wanted to become an artiste as well."

"Well, who were those guys trying to rob you?" asked Luna

"Thos were Les Loups Enrages." said Claude.

"Or Rabid Wolves." Aveline remarked. "They have formed recently under some man who has caused so many deaths among a number of people."

"They wanted my arts and my money for something, and I don't know why." Gerard bowed his head. "But now since you are here, you can probably take care of them and get rid of Les Loups Enrages once and for all."

"Well, we'll certainly look into it, monsieur Senghor." Lincoln said. "Right Luna?"

"Right you are, little bro." she gave her brother a gentle pat on the back with an encouraging smile. It was just then the police came by and booked the remaining Loups Enrages. "On s'en est occupe, officiers." Jesse remarked to the police.

"Oh, you're ze American heroes that we've heard about." said one of the officers. "Sacre bleu. Zis is quite a surprise." he smiled. "Never thought you would came here to France."

"Glad you monsieurs heard of us." said Sam

"Are you kidding?" asked a second officer.

"Word has it that you, Luna Frost and Color Fire have made one of he greatest accomplishments ever: exposing Wernicke for the corrupted corporate paranoics zey really are."

"And you ruined the evil image of Wernicke. Congratulations, kids. Especially you, white-haired Garcon." he obviously was referring to Lincoln.

"Well, i'm not a superhero."

"Don't be modest." said a fourth officer.

"Oui, you can be super without superpowers. You, Lincoln Loud, deserve to be a hero like your friends here." The chief said.

"Yeah, je suis d'accord dude." Luna agreed.

"What brings you all to France?"

"We wanted to see what it was like and how beautiful it was." Lincoln said. "Je suis desole about Les Loups Enrages, officiers."

"No, there's no need for you to apologize, children." said the second officers.

"Those freaks have been a thorn on our side for quite a while now. Some man started this organisation and we are trying to find out who he is."

"And it's not him?" Mason asked, pointing at the first bad guy.

"No, of course not. He is just a captain of his squad. But we will find out soon enough." the third officer said. "I know this is a vacation, but you should really keep your eyes out for any more of Les Loups Enrages. They can be very crafty and sneaky."

"We will, monsieurs.

"In the meantime, enjoy Paris." said the chief. "And make zis trip an unforgettable one."

"Absolutely." Sebastien said.

After the cops booked the thugs in their cars and rode off, Sebastien bid Gerard a temporary farewell, but he will see him and his family again later on today. For now, They still wanted to see Les Invalides a few miles from where they were standing at. They all awaited Arno and his van to pick everyone up and when he arrived, Arno said: "Did you all have a good trip at Lafayette's grave?"

"We did, uncle Arno." said Mason. "Come on. We're heading to Les Invalides next."

"Parfait." Arno drove off to the historical landmark and it took about five minutes because of the traffic here and there. But it will all be worth it. After all, traffic in Paris is not as bad as traffic in New York or Los Angeles. At last, when they arrived, they could hardly wait to see Napoleon's burial site and his sarcophagus. Sebastien told everyone that Napoleon would be under the gigantic dome that towers over the main building.

"Too bad Lucy's not here to see this." said Lincoln. "She would have loved this."

"Don't worry," said Mason. "There is always another time."

"Absolutely. We will be sure to have Lucy here to see the burial sights." Sebastien said. Everyone, except the professor was amazed and intrigued by how beautiful and nice the interior of the building looked. Of course, it would look like that in many other European landmarks such as this one, like in Britain or Germany. There was a round chamber under the dome and the kids went downstairs to see what it was in this room. They were all happy to see Napoleon's grave like this.

Of course, they were not happy because he is dead, but they were glad to have found it. Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb. The coffin was very fitting for the esteemed emperor of France himself, for he earned this kind of sarcophagus to be in his rest. "Wow. Look at it." said Lincoln

"I know. And I thought he died on that island, until you mentioned they brought him back here."

"Oui." Mason smiled. "As I have mentioned: Napoleon made great contributions to France. Even to this day, many French civilians love him."

"Yeah, he might have been a... megalomaniac, but he's still awesome." Jesse said

"I am so getting a picture of this." Sam added, pulling out her phone. As a matter of fact; everyone pulled out their phones to take a photo of the coffin. "But is this as close as we can get, Doctor?"

"Oui, I'm sorry. But Napoleon was a savior and everyone is expected to treat with as much respect as they can give."

"Well, I think it's a good thing Lucy's not here." Lincoln admitted. "She would have probably tried to get in the coffin and sleep in it."

Everyone laughed with Lincoln and Mason said: "That would be a problem, but as least she is not here."
