Intro: (NOT A NALU STORY! IT IS NASHI X STORM) Nashi and Storm go on a mission, which leaves Storm to get hurt, and leaves Nashi to face it all. What will happen on this mission?
(A/N: This story was requested by...Amanny! Thank you so much for requesting this!)
Nashi looked over at Storm, making sure he was okay. They had taken a job request to fight a dark guild, but the paper made it seem much easier than it was. They had said there were very few members in the guild, so only Nashi and Storm took it, thinking it was easy. Somebody definitely got their numbers wrong…there were 4 times the amount of members than they were told! Currently Storm was fighting the guild master, and Nashi was trying to finish up all the guild members. They weren't really tough fighters, but since there were so many it was taking her a good amount of time, and it seemed like Storm was having a hard time with the guild master.
While they don't always get along, they do care about one another. Some would even say, love one another. Nashi isn't sure about love, but she does know she cares for him as more than a friend, though she wasn't about to let him know, she already knew he didn't feel the same. It was most likely just a silly crush anyways. Finally finishing off the last few guild members, Nashi turned around ready to help Storm when it happened. Storm had already taken on many blows from the guild master, trying to cover Nashi so she could take out his men, but then fighting the guild master by himself took a lot of energy. That's why when the guild master had cast a dark spell, probably one that was supposed to be banned, all he could do was stand there and take it. He couldn't let it reach Nashi, but he didn't have the energy to fight it, he could've easily dodged it if he hadn't known that Nashi was behind him.
Taking the blow threw Storm off of his feet and into the air, making him go 15 feet back before he landed and rolled a few times. He finally stopped rolling, landing face down, but you could still see the many bruises and scratches he had endured. Nashi could feel how low on power he was, and smell a good amount of blood he was losing. After a few moments, the guild master let out an evil laugh, obviously happy with the outcome. "Well, looks like he couldn't take me down afterall. What a stupid kid, obviously too weak, why even try?" He kept laughing harder. Time seemed to slow for Nashi though. Just looking at Storm on the ground had her upset, but hearing the guild master make fun of her friend like that, had her pure angry. Smelling the blood and seeing the damage done just added to the flames. Turning around, she could feel herself turning into her dragon force form.
"Oh? Has the little girl decided to come out and play?" The dark guild master couldn't help but let out a chuckle as he got ready to cast another spell. The boy was so easy to get rid of, this little girl would be even easier. No form would scare him off.
Nashi let out a low growl before lighting her arm on fire, if he wanted a fight, she would give him one. Noticing the guild master starting to cast the same spell he did on Storm, she leaped up into the air to avoid it. She definitely got her fathers way of fighting. She was past caring how much damage was done to the area. All she could focus on now was getting revenge for the harm done on her friend.
The moment she landed, she let blow after blow happen, not pausing once in her fighting. If you were to witness the fight, you would have believed she was the one from the dark guild. She was not holding back an ounce of strength.
The dark guild master let out a grimace as he managed to escape Nashi's never ending blows. If he didn't do something soon, he would actually lose to this petty little girl! He couldn't let that happen, not a chance. He got himself ready for another one of his spells, but never had the time to cast it and Nashi was right back into dealing him blow after blow. The poor fellow never stood a chance with her relentless attacks. After about 2 minutes, he was finally down, no way of waking back up anytime soon.
Nashi took a deep breath, that was a lot of magic power to burn in such a short amount of time. Looking back at Storm, she could see that he just had a few small injuries, probably not too extreme. It looked a whole lot worse earlier than it did now, so that was a relief.
After tying up the dark guild master and the rest of the gang members, she alerted the magic council of the location of where they would be, and left. As much as she knew it was probably best she stayed until the magic council came, she did have to get Storm to a doctor, no matter how small the injuries may look. After about 20 minutes of walking, she made it back to the village they were helping and had easily found the hospital thanks to several kind people who led the way. This town wasn't so bad, they had lots of nice people!
It took them an hour and a half to get back to her, since they made her wait out in the lobby while they worked on healing Storm. All they had to do was stitch some cuts up, and put some healing ointment on the bruises and small cuts that didn't need stitching. In all honesty, it did look a whole lot worse than what it was. It slightly surprised Nashi with how little damage the attack did, then again, it didn't surprise her too much because Storm is a Fairy Tail wizard after all. They don't go down that easily! Her parents taught her that.
Once she got back there, Storm was asleep, so she decided to just sit down in the chair beside his bed and daydream for a while. It couldn't hurt anything after all, right?
Storm blinked several times before his eyes adjusted to the dark. By how dark it was, it was probably about 10 or 11 oclock. How did he even wind up in the hospital again? He had no idea. The only way he could tell it was a hospital was by the beeping sound of the machine, and by the bed he was laying upon.
Looking over to his right, he saw Nashi leaning over with her head on his bed, fast asleep. She looked exhausted, and he figured she must be if she was able to sleep in that position! Take it from him, these hospital beds aren't comfy at all. With as much as Nashi and he fight, he knows how uncomfortable these things are to sleep in just by being the patient who sleeps on the full bed, not just the bed rail. He couldn't help but smile though. Obviously she must have done a lot, seeing as it's so late, and he's in the hospital and not on the ground where they were fighting the dark guild. He knew she could do it. While Storm and Nashi fight a lot, they're still a family and will protect each other until the very end, just like the rest of their family. With a soft smile, he kissed her forehead before closing his eyes and letting sleep take him. He was still pretty exhausted after all. However, he missed a very important blush on little Nashi's face as she opened her eyes and looked at him. Maybe someday… she thought to herself. Maybe someday.
"And that, my kids, is how I met your mom!" Storm said to his children. They had asked him for the story once again on how he and their mom started to fall in love. They had three children. Zuri, who was 13, she was the oldest. Then there was Sakura, who was 7, she was the middle child. Then their youngest, Haku, he was 5.
"So y'all just worked out y'alls feelings and came back from the mission…dating?" Zuri asked. Honestly, it was just so confusing. Then again, her parents have always been confusing. "You could say that." Storm responded. Around the corner Natsu and Lucy came in, ready to receive hugs from their grandkids. They had decided to come visit for the day. "Your grandfather over here about killed your dad when he found out!" Lucy giggled as she told the children this. Natsu's reaction the day his oldest daughter came back from a mission to tell them she was dating Storm was hilarious. Nobody would ever forget it.
Honestly, it all worked out in the end, and all was well. Obviously it did if Nashi and Storm were happily married with 3 children 17 years later. They sure had came a long way. Nashi rounded the corner and smiled as she took a picture of her family without them knowing. The kids were hugging her parents, and her husband standing there smiling and welcoming her parents was just beautiful to her. She giggled as she saw the picture come out quite nicely. She sure was lucky with her family.
(A/N: Hello everyone! I'm so sorry about the BIG delay in this post. It may not be Lucy and Natsu, but I did put a lot of time and effort into this story, so I do hope you enjoy it! I'm trying to get back into my writing, it's just been difficult trying to come up with ideas. So please give me some ideas in reviews! And if you would like to further your idea, feel free to PM me extra details! I would love to write stories y'all suggest! Anyways, I plan to start back writing a whole lot more often. I have several stories that are half finished…I just need to come up with the idea on how to finish them. Until then, take care! Thanks for reading!)
