Luna could almost hardly believe that she was having a large pig be a psychiatrist for her and to talk about her personal problems. At least it was from someone who she knows and it was free of charge. "So Luna," said Snowball, "please lie down on here and tell me your troubles."
The rocker girl did just that and laid on the therapy couch and taking her blue gloves off before placing them behind her haid as she lied down. "OK Snowball. "I'm ready."
Snowball smiled on his adorable, pig face and looked at her. "Look, i know this is weird, but i took the brain serum and 8 am smarter than any other pig now."
"I know, i know." Luna sighed. "So i Sam as my girlfriend, or i did, until she caught me making out with Mason. But... i just lost myself and i hurt Sam beyond hurt. And i didn't mean to hurt Sam."
"Hmm. I understand what you mean, Luna." Snowball stated. "Anything else you can tell me about it?"
"Yeah, there is. I just felt reallt dirty doing that. I mean, Mason is a really nice guy, and i love Sam since she's my girlfriend."
"Did you try apologizing to her?" asked the Gloucestershire old spot boar.
"In the most sincere way i could do possible. I even put in song. Mason helped me because it was both our fault."
"Ooh, that was quite the idea, Luna. Really, i do commend you for being veey sincere.:
"Thanks, Snowball." Luna said. "But we're not... fully back together... not yet."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean we decided to start over our relationship by starting with being friends. Me and Sam are good, but i just feel like such a turd about it."
"Come on, there's no need to be so hard on yourself." the pig said. "You made a mistake. Even though you got the power of cryokenesis, you are still human, and humans make mistakes, whether they are super-powered or not. As a matter of fact, the Gods of Olympus in Greek Mythology were not perfect and they had human emotions."
"True." said Luna. "I did make a mistake. I guess superheroes make mistakes too."
"Right. It is alright to make mistakes once you learn from them."
"So what can i do to be a better person?" Luna asked him.
"In my perspective, we pigs are different than humans, but from the behavior i gave seen sometimes, you can do the hardest thing you can do."
"And what's that?"
"Forgive yourself," Snowball remarked.
Thinking deep in her head, Luna realized that Snowball was right and the least she can do is move on. "Yeah. That's a good idea. I mean, i'm a superhero and i always fight to make sure everyone i love is safe. And me and Sam can start over our relationship."
"Yes, just take it nice and slow." Snowball smiled. "All humans have those feelings every once in a while and, i might be a pig, but i understand the behavior of humans most of the time."
"Most of the times?"
"Uh-huh. And i'm rather lucky to be a pig and not a human. We pigs cannot really commit a sin and we can get away with just about anything."
"So, you're saying i should turn into a pig?"
"What? No! Of course not!" the pig nodded his head. "Ridiculous. What i mean is, just build up that relationship so you can get ut back on track for when the time is right."
Gaining more confidence, Luna knew that sulking around and squandering in misery and sadness was going to get her nowhere but hurting herself on the inside. "OK. I'll just try to forget the whole affair and just focus on here and now."
"Perfect. Feel free to come on back here to talk to me if anytime else is conflicting you or bringing you down." Snowball felt his own stomach growling, and said to himself. "I really need food right now."
"When does Liam feed ya dudes?"
"Around noon for lunch, and around six for dinner. This farm produces the best kind of animals and produce in Michigan."
Playing-handheld video games while walking around the house, he bumped into a few objects once in a while, and Luna had to help him by saying: "Careful, bro. You're gonna hurt yourself if you keep bumping into stuff while playing that thing. I don't want you to get a concusion."
"Don't worry, Luna. I know what I'm doing." Lincoln said. Little did he know that: Luan, being a typical jokester and prankster, laid a banana peel on the kitchen floor while Lincoln had his eyes glued in the small screen.
Luna noticed it and caught Lincoln walking in the direction the peel was at, something Luan predicted, but the icy rocker girl caught it just in time. "Whoa! whoa! whoa!" she exclaimed, gently grabbing Lincoln and walking him away from the peel. "Sorry dude, Luan put that there to prank ya."
She looked over in the direction where Luan was hiding, which was under the couch, who grumbled in irritation. "Curses! foiled again!" Luan got out.
"Nice try, Luan." Luna said. "Don't you ever give up on these stupid pranks? it's not even April Fools day yet!"
"I know, I know." Luan said. "But pranks are one of the many things I know how to do best. I'm a natural born comedian."
"Yeah, I mean, you can be the next Sam Kennisson or Kevin Hart someday." said Lincoln sarcastically.
"Uh, I will better than those guys. Hopefully not get in a car accident like Sam." Luan scowled.
"Just be careful who you prank, dude." Luna warned. "Or you'll be a popsicle tomorrow." she gave her the "i'm watching you" gesture at her to show how much she meant business on her.
"OK, OK. sorry." Luan said. "I'll watch it next time." she then walked away to get herself some apple juice.
"Thanks for the heads up, Luna." Lincoln said to her icy big sister. "You saved me from slipping and cracking my head open."
"Don't mention it." Luna gently ruffled his white hair playfully.
"Yet again," Lincoln said. "Maybe if that happened, Luan might feel guilty to a whole new level and it would be something she wouldn't be able to take back so easily."
"Oooh, that's true." Luna said with her gun gesture at him. "Luan might never pull pranks on us ever again, even on April Fool's day."
Lincoln made a gasp, and said: "that would be like our second Christmas!"
"True bro, so true." Luna smirked. "But there was one time at school where she pulled a prank where she hurt people."
"What's that?"
"She forced the principal to make the students evacuate the school after saying there was a rattlesnake infestation in the school."
Making a face of disbelief and had his hands over his mouth. "No way!"
"Yes way!" Luna said. "She had marbles placed at the entrance, and it made many people slip and fall on the floor from the marbles."
"Jeez. that's crazy!" Lincoln said. "How many got hurt?"
"Nineteen. Seven kids got their skulls cracked open."
This made Lincoln even more surprised and shocked.
"I know. I was just as shocked as you, baby bro. Many kids had to go to the emergency room and get stitches on their heads."
"Did Luan get in trouble?"
"Oh yeah. Big trouble. Luan got suspended for three weeks. Plus doing community service on the weekends until she got back to school."
"Wow."
"Come on, I said I was sorry!" Luan said, who came up to them with apple juice, looking irritated about being reminded of that day. "I even gave everyone that got hurt apology baskets."
"Let's just drop it." said Luna. "But if you pull any more mean pranks on April Fool's this year," she moved her face close to Luan's, "You'll have to deal with me."
"Ooh, I like a challenge." said Luan. "Just try to stop me." she made an evil chuckle before going upstairs to practice more ventriloquist woth Mr. Coconuts.
"I hope we can stand up against her when the time comes this year. We know how much of master prankster she is, Luna."
"Yeah, but she doesn't have superpowers like i do, Lincoln." she pointed her right hand up to the ceiling and created a small ball of ice, levitating above her pointer. "Don't worry, I won't kill her. She's still family."
"Oh, I know. I know." Lincoln nodded his head. "But come on, it's not April yet. Besides, I don't want to jinx it."
Luna couldn't help but laugh. "Good idea, Linc."
"So is Sam ok." Lincoln said
Frowning a little bit, Luna slightly looked down and said: "We're good now. But, we're... trying to take things slow and start over again."
"Oh. That's good." Lincoln smiled. "I know your guys' relationship will get back on track." said Lincoln. He took a bottle of root beet from the fridge, and a second one on his right hand. "You want one, Luna?" he offered her a cold bottle
"Sure little bro." Luna smiled gratefully. "Root beer me up."
"Beer it up." Lincoln promptly gave it for her to drink. "So, when we fight supervillains again, or stop muggers or regular criminals, are you and Sam going to fight side-by-side together again? I mean, you sang that song to her and you're on good terms again."
"Mostly." Luna politely corrected him. "But of course we are still going to fight crime together. We're still friends, And she forgives me. I just can't rush when me and her will be a thing again." she took another sip of her root beer. "I had a talk with Snowball about it at Liam's farm."
"It must have been weird talking to a pig for some guidance." Lincoln admitted
"Yeah. Really weird." Luna said. "At least he can talk, otherwise people will think I'm crazy." she then took another sip of her root beer. "At least it was free, and that Snowball is a good pig. He says he plans to be the hero of Liam's farm since he is the smartest animal there."
"Wouldn't surprise me." said Lincoln. "Maybe he can be the brains of our hero group. Maybe... he can be good at computer skills Though I don't know how he can type things with those hoofs on his arms." Luna couldn't help but laugh.
"Yeah, but he can still use them. Besides, there's a video of a pig playing a joystick video game."
"Oh yeah. I think I saw that." Lincoln remembered. "And there was a video of a pig playing guitar."
Luna laughed some more. "Right. I'll have to look at that."
"Well, I gotta help Clyde with something at his house. Something about helping him instal the Y-Crate three-thousand council." Lincoln remembered, "But it won't be long. I'll try not to catch a cold out there in the snow."
The rocker girl smile and said: "I know you'll be careful out there, dude. Don't be embarrassed if I do this, but..." Luna brought her head closer to Lincoln's head, and gave him a kiss on the forehead, leaving blue lipstick on it, leaving Lincoln blushed and touched. "Sorry Linc. I couldn't help myself. I just love you so much."
"It's OK, I love you too, Luna." Lincoln smiled gratefully. he went out the door (with his winter gear on himself to keep him warm), and walked over to Clyde's house. While walking on the sidewalk, he didn't know there was a smooth line of ice and he suddenly slipped and tried not so hard to fall on the ground. Granted, with all the snow around, it would cushion him from the fall from breaking anything in him. Slipping and sliding he bumped into someone and fell on her. "Ow." he groaned while feeling dizzy.
He saw a girl around his age looking dizzy herself and grasping her head with a hand. She was wearing a red winter coat, and some earmuffs to keep her ears warm, the color of purple, and her hair was like a bob-cut hair, being longer than Luna's a little bit. Her head was round and rather beautiful, and he had sparkling green eyes and slim eyebrows. She had to be one of the most beautiful girls Lincoln had ever met. If some girls had met her, they would have been jealous at how beautiful she was for his age (or somewhere around his age).
"I am so sorry." said Lincoln, trying to help her up gently. When he saw how beautiful she was, he was absolutely awestruck. "Are... are you ok?"
"Yeah. I'm just fine." said the girl in a nice voice. "I guess it was the ice that made you come crash towards me."
"No kidding. The ice sneaks up on you like snow snakes."
The girl couldn't help but make a cute laugh with her hand over her mouth. "You're funny." she said.
"Are you new here? I haven't seen you before."
"Uh-huh. I've come from Maine." the girl remarked. "We moved her so my parents can look for better job opportunities. Maine's not as populated as Michigan, so if there is a city with more people, then there would be more opportunities for them to look for jobs."
"Good point." Lincoln smirked. "When did you move here?"
"A week ago." said the girl. "My name's Jenny. Jenny LaRue."
"Nice to meet you, Jenny. I'm Lincoln."
"Oh, i know. You're a hero in Michigan... And France."
Lincoln smiled, knowing about more recognition he was getting at being a hero. "Yeah, the Ace Savvy thing is kinda new to me. He's my idol."
Jenny made a gasp and smiled. "I love Ace Savvy too! I've been reading his comics ever since I was a little girl." Lincoln was rather surprised to hear those words. He hasn't met a lot of girls who love Ace Savvy. Only a few of them. He wondered who else Jenny liked. Alas, he just met the girl, and he couldn't just move too fast on her. If he knows there's one thing girls do not like at all, it would be; boys moving too fast on them, or coming on too strong.
"That's cool." said Lincoln. "Well Jenny, are you going to go to school here?"
"Uh-huh. I am. Royal Woods elementary"
"Nice! That's where I go." said Lincoln.
Jenny smiled, hopping that she and Lincoln will be put in the same classroom together. "When school reopens, I hope to see you there."
"Me too."
