Luna and company were practicing their powers (or in Lincoln's case, strength and skills with his beam sword and guns) in the underground training course that was also an obstacle course. Yes, it was always good to practice like this, and keep track of their skills and abilities.

While using some beams of lightning from her hands to fry some dummies, Sam was running and suddenly tripped, but Luna was next to her and caught her before she could hit the ground.

Realizing what happened, Sam began to blush and look flustered like the cheeks on her face turned into a pair of bright, shiny tomatoes. Luna herself flushed at how she caught Sam, but her hands could no longer support carrying her, for she was distracted and they accidentally fell on one another.

"Oops, sorry." said Luna. "I was a little distracted then."

"No, it's ok, Luna." Sam replied, still looking flustered. "I was the one distracted... thanks for breaking my fall."

"No problem, dude. I mean, i tried."

"Need a hand?" asked Jesse, kindly giving them a boost up.

"Yeah, that would be radical." said Luna. "So that was pretty cool. How we handled Screamo."

"I think he might escape again." Sam noted.

"Yeah, but they always return to the scene of the crime. They fight the law and the law always wins." Luna pointed.

"Ain't that the truth." said Jesse. "Plus, my dad has a way of looking for any bad guys. He's a man that always learns the name and remembers the face, and not just from mugshots or prison photos."

"I can see why your dad's the chief of police, Jess." Luna smiled.

"He's da best in the force for nothin'." Jesse proudly said. "And look at me. I'm practically following in his footsteps."

Meanwhile, Lincoln was practicing with his Chatellerault gun and his aim was getting better. Although, he was getting a little distracted by how Jenny was running super fast in her super suit.

He was a little distracted that he couldn't aim properly and almost hit Lisa with a few bullets. The way Jenny ran like this made him like her more and more.

"Lincoln!" Lisa shouted. "Watch where you are pointing your firearm, will you! You almost shot my eyes out of there corneas!"

"Sorry Lisa." Lincoln called out. "Won't happen again."

"Ignoramus." Lisa muttered, wiping the soot off of her clothes. "What is the deal with my elder sibling all of a sudden?" she then walked away to build some more training bots for the heroes to practice with. Poor Lincoln just couldn't get his mind off of Jenny while he was practicing with his weapons. Suddenly, an agile training robot came up to him, looking like a kung-fu martial artist. Lincoln knew that it was at this moment that he needed to act fast against his opponent.

"Come on, Lincoln. Focus." said Snowball, who was in the lair to observe the other heroes as they were training in the obstacle course. "Fight to defend your own life, boy!"

"Oh! Right. Sorry." said Lincoln. He used his quick wits and sliced his beam sword at the training bot, who pulled out a beam sword of his own. As soon as Lincoln was fighting it long enough, he found the opportunity to trick the robot by looking like he was about to cut it in half, but then thrust it in the chest with his beam sword, immediately causing the training robot to shut down. It was an impressive display of how well Lincoln fought.

Just when Lincoln felt triumphant in himself for taking out a combatant robot, there was another one coming , and he fired his blaster, making the robot short-circuit, and spazzing from the shocking." It gave Lincoln time to throw his beam sword at the mechanical nuisance. "wow, that was quick-thinking little bro." said Luna. "Nicely done." She gently laid her right hand on his back.

"Thanks Luna. But I got a little distracted."

"By her?" said Luna teasingly

"Oh. you mean Jenny?"

"I think we both know the answer to that, Lincoln." said Luna. She bounced her eyebrows a few times, knowing what was going on with him right now.

"Not here, Luna." Lincoln whispered. "Come here so she won't hear us."

"Ok, ok." Luna said. "There's nothing wrong with it. As long as you're paying attention to the baddies you're fightin right now."

Lincoln sighed and said: "OK, I think I really like Jenny. But I don't want to move in too fast."

"What about Gus' Games N' Grub?" Luna wondered

"That was different. We just went out for pizza and playing arcade games as friends, that's all." Lincoln pointed. "Besides, I think her dad is one of those overprotective dads for girls."

"Ah, he'll like you. Many dads are like that to their daughters. I mean, yeah, not our dad, but other dads."

"He was kinda scary." Lincoln confessed.

"But you're a hero."

"Just give him some time." Luna urged

She can see that Lincoln was blushing and looking at his supposed new crush again. She gave a small frown at hoe much he wanted Jenny to be with him. "Look," she said, "Why not just go ask her out if you really want to be her boyfriend."

"Even though we have only met a week ago?" Lincoln pointed. "I can't just move too fast on her."

"True, but it looks like the pressure is killing you on the inside. Looks like it's more than a feeling when you see Jenny walk away."

"Didn't you and Sam needed some time to get to know one another for a little while before you guys started dating?"

"Lincoln," Luna said flatly while smiling, "Remember the love letter thing that was a misunderstanding but we did them anyway to our crushes?"

"Oh... touche." Lincoln realized. "Yeah, you got me there."

"Then just go out and ask her out just to let it out. Or at least tell her how you really feel about her." Luna gently encouraged him. "It can make you geel better if you just let it all out. Granted, Paige rejected you, but you can't let that bring you down. Even if you get rejected, it will feel good just to get it out of your system."

"Yeah..." Lincoln was having some time to think things over about what his big sister was saying.

"You really should listen to her, Lincoln." an elegant voice said. It was Snowball, who just appeared behind the two siblings while they were talking. "Luna speaks wisely. Just talking to Penny will get the butterflies out of your small stomach."

Lincoln then saw Jenny taking a breather with her mask off and drinking some cold water while taking a break. Ultimately, Lincoln decided to listen to the advice, along with the large boars' advice as well, and took a little breath.

"OK." Lincoln gave in with his eyes closed. "I'll do it."

Luna made out a small squee of joy with a small hop, and Lincoln looked over to Jenny again, walking over to her slowly.

He was as nervous as a puppy coming inside his new home after being adopted from the humane society. Alas, Luna was one of the most helping and encouraging sisters to him and she has helped him many times a great deal.

The more Lincoln grew closer to her, the more nervous he got. But he was a hero and he was better than just a nervous or scared kid. Jenny stopped drinking her col, refreshing water and dropped her water bottle in a nearby recycling bin.

Finally he stopped two feet away from her and it was when Jenny noticed him. "Oh, hi Lincoln. What's going on?"

Blushing, Lincoln slightly looked away and was silent for a few seconds. As he was quiet, Jenny gave him a rather concerned look on her face.

"Jenny, I have something I want to tell you."

"Sure, what is it?"

Lincoln cleared his throat, and began saying: "I like you." his heart sank to his feet saying that. "I know we just met, but i'm in love with you."

Jenny looked surprised, and she blushed herself hearing this. Nonetheless, she allowed him to speak some more.

"I mean, you're like me. We love video games and comic books and Ace Savvy so much. i've been feeling these emotions about you. But i've been told that's best to know you first, but these feelings have been building up inside of me." Lincoln continued. "We're both superheroes and i've wanted to tell you for a few days now."

"Wow." said Jenny. "That's pretty deep."

"Yeah. But the guys told me that if i confessed to you, it would make me feel better."

"And... do you feel better?"

"I..." he looked at his gloved hands. "I think i do feel better."

Jenny smiled. "Good."

"I don't want you to think i'm weird or a creep or anything like that."

"Calm down Lincoln." Jenny laughed. "It's ok. And... I've been wanting to ask you out for some time."

It was quite a shocker for Lincoln, and he didn't see that coming. "Wait, you did?"

"Yeah. I mean, you are so cool. And... I thought you were too cool for me. I mean, look at you. You saved France before and you're a national hero of two countries now. How many kids like you would be able to do something like that?"

"Even if I didn't save France by myself?" Lincoln asked.

It just made Jenny laugh more. "Yeah. I mean you can't just save a country by yourself, unless if you were like Superman."

"Very, very true."
