Luna was looking at the crime monitor for anything in case Ronnie Anne would show up on the radar, like a hostage crisis or some thing that could happen from her.

Alas, being a superhero and all, she can't just ignore some certain crimes popping up, because that would would not be the proper way for a superhero to follow.

Hours passed and nothing came up... yet. Something will happen some time, something has too, for a crime happens every day. And one will never know when an opportunity will come up. Many events pop up out of nowhere like ghosts or poltergeists.

She needed to keep her eyes open at any given moment. Luna then realized that she shouldn't really jump to conclusions, and, after all, the alarm had a loud blaring sound in case a crime does happen so she decided to have herself a small hoagie sandwich from the fridge.

All in all, she was still worried about how her brother was doing from the Ronnie Anne thing.

She might not know the girl that much, but Luna knew that Ronnie was tougher than most girls her age.

Patience was needed and the heroes will find her some time. It was also nice for Jackal to help the heroes in the search for her. Question is: can it work?

Speaking of which: there was Lincoln coming in the kitchen to have some root beer for himself. He didn't look so depressed and he seemed a little more happy than before.

It made Luna happy to see Lincoln happy, and she asked: "You ok, dude?"

"Just fine." Lincoln said. "I'm trying to think positive about Ronnie Anne. I know we'll find her."

Luna smiled again and said: "That's the baby bro I know." she gently patted his right shoulder.

"And I just keep saying to myself that it isn't my fault. I keep telling that to myself over and over again to help me cope with what's going on."

"Totally! I'm proud of ya."

"Thanks Luna. Besides, we just need to look for more clues." then he had a thought. "Or maybe that bat monster kidnapped her."

"Ooh, maybe.: Luna thought herself. "If it come attacks tonight, then we can try to follow it and lead it back to where it came so that way: we can find out how it came to be."

"Right! But I'm surprised that Wernicke, or former Wernicke employees have no saying about it. They went through Lisa's polygraph while she was visiting the prison, and they had no part of it."

"That is strange." Lincoln thought. "I mean, before we stopped them, didn't they experiment on humans and mox them with animal DNA?"

"Mostly against their wishes, then yeah." Luna said. "If it wasn't them, who was it?"

"That's what I wanna know, Luna. I don't know any more villains that can do something like that."

"Me neither."

Alas, they enjoyed their snack and drink before heading to the living room for Luna to watch TV and Lincoln to read some comic books.

Turning on the television, the news broadcasted something interesting. "This just in, a large terrifying bat monster attacked in the suburbs of Royal Woods in the middle of the night." the female reporter stated. "But thanks to the work of our beloved heroes, the beast has been driven back and made a hasty retreat."

The two siblings smiled at the triumph last night.

"That thing, whatever it is will probably show his face again tonight, being bats and all, but we can always count on Luna Frost, Steel Soldier, Electrifier, Meteor, Lincoln, and the most recent edition to the superhero posse, Zap, the new fastest human in the world." Deep down, that thing will get dealt with by this team of heroes against this monster, and figure out where it came from. That thing had to come back at night sometime to look for food and all. "If there is one thing we in Royal Woods, then it would be; always have fate in these bold, and good-natured heroes."

"Got that right, dudette." Luna said. "That monster will have to deal with us before barking at the moon again tonight." she took another bite of her hoagie. After gulping down her bite, she looked at Lincoln. "You ready to face that monster tonight?"

"Luna, I am more than ready to deal with it." Lincoln cracked his knuckles. "The police might give us a hand tonight."

"I bet they will."

In a certain lab, there was Abomination, and the Stevenson brothers within, along with a bunch of henchmen that Abomination hired to protect him as his private security force. Abomination was looking at the bat monster who was in a large cage, sleeping upside down in the daytime from a large branch. "Well, my creation. This is going to be interesting." said Abomination. "You will create more mayhem tonight no doubt."

"But those heroes will be more prepared." said Frank

"Maybe, but we're going to lure these heroes into a trap once they follow our friend here." he pointed to the bat thing, snoring heavily. "No doubt, they will go after her, and we will give those heroes an ultimate payback that they will never forget."

"But what if it fails?" asked Frank.

"Look, the other villains just go out and do things without thinking things through, too consumed and blinded by vengeance and not thinking things over enough to plan ahead. But we? We are smarter than that."

"True." said Malcolm.

"What are we going to do with the heroes when we trap them?" asked Paul

"You'll see." Abomination sneered. "She will take care of them personally." he pointed at the sleeping beast again. "And it will be all the more interesting and sweet in our revenge. All we needed was to plan ahead and be more like Les Loups Enrages. They thought ahead of time, and waited with patience in order to put their plan into motion."
