The body of poor Ronnie Anne was collected by officials and brought to the morgue for cleaning and a proper burial the following morning. At the house, a dark cloud loomed over household. Lincoln was rather depressed at how his own friend that used to be a bully was dead. He could still hardly believe what just happened. Was all of this his fault? Could he have saved Ronnie Anne Ronnie Anne in time before Abomination would have killed her in that gruesome manner? One thing for sure was: she did not deserve such a a fate like this, even if she did betray Lincoln's trust like this. He had five boxes of tissues in his room as he was crying and lamenting the loss of his own friend and Lincoln laid on his bed as he was thinking of the good times he had with her (even though she wasn't very nice to him at first).

Despite that, it was almost bed time and everyone int he household was concerned about Lincoln and his well-being. They all knew that his spirit was below sea level, even below Lake Assal in Djibouti. Everyone was in their rooms after they were done brushing their teeth, but they couldn't sleep because of what Lincoln and Luna have been through against Abomination. It was a really good thing that deranged villain was dead, but it came at a terrible price and a terrible loss.

Looking concerned and worried about Lincoln, Luna went into her only brother's room and slowly creaked the door open to check on him. She frowned as she saw Lincoln under the covers and sniffling at the loss of his own friend. Luna really hated seeing him like this and she walked up to the bed before sitting on it slowly, and gently. "baby bro?" she said. "Are you ok?"

Lincoln was silent for a few long seconds and said: "I can't believe she's gone. I could have saved her." he revealed himself with his hair messy and tears running down his face like a waterfall. "This is all my fault."

"Shh, don't say that." said Luna, gently soothing him. "It wasn't your fault. Some things just happen." she pulled him in for a soothing hug, a most wholesome hug that a big sister can give her little brother when his spirit was at his lowest. "Lincoln, you know that you can't save everyone."

'But... she... she..."

"Shhhhh. Don't cry." Luna comforted him some more.

"But I was so mad at her, and... I told her that she wasn't my friend anymore."

"If she felt that way, then she wouldn't have saved you at all." she kept on hugging him as Lincoln was crying and sobbing some more. "She forgave you and... she's the one who's sorry for joining the enemy like that."

"Ronnie Anne joined the enemy because of me." Lincoln closed his eyes in guilt. "But Jenny... she's not a bad guy."

"No, of course she isn't." said Luna. "Look, I know this is... so much to take in, but... look, you wanna sleep on my bunk again to make you geel better, dude?"

The white-haired boy looked up at her with tears still in his eyes. "Yeah... that would be a good idea." he wiped the mucus from his nostrils and used a tissue to clean that up. "Let me wash my hands."

"Got it. don't take too long" said Loona. As Lincoln did just that, he went straight to Luna's room and got on the top bunk with her.

"Looks like Linc is gonna have a rough night on this." said Mr. Coconuts.

"Seriously?" said Luan. "This is hardly the time."

"Luan, we're in no mood." said Luna, looking stern

"What? it's Mr Coconuts talking, not me!" Luan protested.

Lincoln rolled his eyes and ignored the comedian sister. Over the night, Lincoln fell asleep, although he was crying himself to sleep next to Luna.

The morning came and everyone was at the funeral of Ronnie Anne, wearing black outfits and mourning gowns. Not just the Loud family of Ronnie's family were there, but; Clyde, his dads, Sid Chang, some of Ronnie's old friends when she lived in Royal Woods, and her friends in Great Lakes City.

Sabre and the GIGN boys were also present, along with Sam, Yakov, Mason, Jesse, and Jenny.

Lincoln's new girlfriend noticed Lincoln and walked up to him in concern. "Lincoln? are you ok?"

"Yeah... I'm fine, Jenny."

By the sound of his voice however, he wasn't alright. "It's ok, Lincoln." said Jenny.

"Everything will be fine." then she hugged him to try and make him feel better.

"Thanks." Lincoln sighed.

"Poor big brother." said Lucy. "He is really devastated."

"Try not to mention it." said Lana.

They all eventually sat down and as soon as everyone was seated, Hector, Ronnie's maternal grandfather, came up to the pedestal, indicating that he would be the one to host this funeral service. Bobby sat next to Lori, who was still crying with his mother and father. They all took it the worst since Ronnie was part of the immediate family.

Frida was crying like crazy that not even Carl could hold back his own tears. Alas, they were quiet when Carl's father began talking to them.

Next to him was a nice portrait of Ronnie Anne, smiling. Behind Hector was the coffin with Ronnie's lifeless body, looking like she was sleeping instead, and her eyes closed. As soon as everyone was in their proper seats, Hector knew that it was the perfect opportunity to give his speech.

"Everyone," said Hector, "I would like to thank you all for coming here, especially Lincoln."

Bobby just rolled his eyes and made a rather hateful look at the boy. Lincoln was confused and didn't know why Bobby was mad at him.

"So, today... we have suffered a very terrible loss." Hector continued. "Ronalda, or Ronnie Anne Santiago, was a good girl, brave, kind, a good friend, and a wonderful family member to have. For that, you all have the right to know exactly how she died." He felt like crying, but he closed his eyes, and he sounded angry when he revealed the cause of her death. "You see, Ronnie Anne was brutally murdered in cold blood."

At last, there was more crying from Ronnie's family.

"By A supervillain named Abomination, formerly known as Johnathan Krunk." Hector revealed. "And we can all express our disappointment in Ronnie Anne when she decided to team up with the enemy... but she learned her lesson. So, the pain, we all feel inside, I'm sure it will bring us all closer than ever before. And, Ronnie did not die in vain." he looked at the heroes. "You see, Abomination was rightfully killed by Luna Frost, and these wonderful heroes that tried to save my beautiful granddaughter. And Lincoln," he looked at the boy, "it wasn't your fault."

"Lies!" Bobby cried out in anger. "It was all Lincoln's fault my sister's gone!"

"Bobby!!!" Hector shouted down on him. "Sit down!" looking calm again, he looked at Lincoln, "Sorry about that. Bobby is only saddened by the loss as you are. It would never be your fault."

"We all know who's fault it was." Lincoln said

"Yes. Abomination." Hector clarified. "Now, like I mentioned: Ronnie didn't die in vain because justice has been served against Abomination. Always remember that Ronnie Anne died for every one of us, and remember all the good times we had with her. She was a girl who was kind, brave, and honest to the very end. Ronnie Anne, we will all miss you." They all bowed their heads in silence as Hector was finished talking.
