Fall to Pieces by Velvet Revolver plays

The funeral was over and everyone had candles lighten up with their eyes closed to honor Ronnie Anne and her passing. More crying was heard and more tears were shown from almost all the people attending. The French soldiers just sat in silence without saying a word. Luna was given the honor of playing a beautiful guitar solo to honor her memory with her ice guitar. The solo was really stinging and there were long notes on some, and it lasted for a whole sixty seconds. As soon as the song ended, Lincoln was in even more tears than ever, and loud sobbing was heard from Ronnie's whole family as they clung together for support and comfort.

Everyone else didn't know what to say and casket of Ronnie Anne's coffin closed. Almost everyone said something as kind words to honor her memory, except for the French soldiers who didn't even know her at all.

The coffin was then buried in the marked spot and the hole will he filled up in a matter of days. Everyone laid flowers on the coffin and over time, at least around thirty minutes, everyone was slowly leaving the place and finally, it was Lincoln, who shed a few tears from his face and one tear landed on the coffin. More snow began falling from the sky as it was a usual, grey and cloudy winter sky, but he didn't care.

As more tears escaped his face, he noticed someone gently tapping his finger on his shoulder. It was Maria. "Oh, Mrs Santiago." said Lincoln. "About what happened with Ronnie Anne... I am so sorry."

"No Lincoln, it wasn't your fault." Maria pointed. "We all know who's fault that was. But, you kill that monster after all he did to my daughter."

"But it was my fault." Lincoln said. "I said she wasn't my friend anymore after betraying me and the guys to Abomination."

"But you were just mad at her. And shocked." said Maria. "None of us saw it coming. I know her death was not your fault. You are a good kid, Lincoln. I know you."

"I... just wish she was back." at last, they embraced one another as they cried for Ronnie Anne again.

"Me too, Lincoln. Me too."

Both of them had a moment to catch some air and Lincoln asked: "what about Bobby?"

"He's a wreck." said the woman. "He is taking it the worst. I've never seen someone cry so hard before in my life... or someone suck their thumb or rock back and forth in sadness."

"Where is he? I don't want him to think it's my fault."

"He's just angry and torn over everything. It's like a very bad dream."

"I wish it was a dream, Mrs. Samtiago." Lincoln sighed.

"We all do."

"Is there anything I can do for you? anything at all?"

"Thanks Lincoln, but you don't have to do anything for us. You stopping Abomination and killing him was good enough."

"OK. I forgot I can't save everyone."

"Right." said Maria. "It's harsh reality. Will you be ok? is there anything I can give you?"

"No thank you." Lincoln sighed. "But maybe I can look for a psychiatrist or a therapist." He was possibly correct, after losing one of his best friends like this, he could really see a shrink or someone similar to help him with this new kind of trauma. He never thought he would lose a friend like this. Perhaps... this could help him grow a little. With every mistake, someone will learn from it (even if Ronnie Anne dying was not his fault at all.)

"I understand how much it is for you to take in. but if you do need one, I know someone who can help you."

"Who?"

"Before I moved to Great Lakes City," Maria then gave him a card. "I had someone to help Ronnie Anne with her anger problems. He goes by the name of Dr Winchell."

"Dr Winchell?"

"Yes. He's one of the greatest psychiatrists in Michigan. He even has five phds in many subjects through college."

"Oh. Thank you."

"You're welcome. I guess... I'll see you around."

"What about Bobby?"

"He'll be fine."

"Alright." She went back to the rest of her family as they went back to Great Lakes City. Lincoln looked back at the van the family drove in heading to the direction to that very city.

"Lincoln?" said Luna, accidentally startling him. "Sorry, didn't mean to frighten ya."

"No it's ok." said Lincoln.

"Are you ok?"

"I don't know. This feels like a very bad dream that I can never wake up from." he bowed his head.

"I know. We a wish this was a dream." Luna hugged him from behind to help make him feel better. "Is there anything I can give you? Or we can get you?"

"No. I just wanna go home." Lincoln sighed.

"I understand." The family all drove home while Lincoln rode off on Luna's ice slide with her. As soon as everyone went home, Lincoln's sadness didn't go away.

Sabre went up to Lincoln and put a gentle hand on Lincoln's right shoulder. "We're all very sorry, Lincoln." he said.

"Oui, everything will be alright." Adewale added. "Just keep pushing forward and live life to ze fullest."

"Yes, just don't beat yourself up about zis." Paton added

"And we'll still answer your guys' call if you need us again." said Chevalier

"As long as you are our allies and friends, we will always answer your call." Leclerk said.

"Merci beaucoup, guys." said Lincoln. "I'll be fine. I just need to let this all sink in me. I mean, i know i can't bring her back."

he felt himself being hugged by Jenny warmly, showing how much his new girlfriend cares about him. "I know I've said this many times before, but I'm really sorry Lincoln."

"It's not your fault, Jenny. Stuff happens for no reason."

"Got that right." said Mason.

So everyone went back to their normal businesses and Lincoln went up to his room, changing into his underwear. He didn't even care how cold it was anymore. He just covered himself in his blanket and lamented what happened

Luna peaked through the bedroom door that his brother sleeps in and looked sad and worried about him. "Oh Lincoln." she said. "I hope you will be ok."

She wanted to go in there and comfort him as much as she could, but Lincoln probably needed some alone time, especially the kind of sadness he is in right now. Lincoln looked at a few pictures of him and Ronnie Anne together and the more he looked at them, the more Lincoln felt like crying.

At last, when he saw her and him at Dairyland wearing udder hats, he couldn't hold them back any longer. he broke down on the pillow and sobbed his sorrows away after all that happened.
