Lincoln couldn't stop moping and he was just in his shower getting ready for the day, although his day wasn't going to be a bright one like it normally is for him. He felt like crying again, but he didn't want to do it anymore and he already cried enough tears at the funeral of his deceased friend. "In my dreams, it's still the same." he sang, "Your love is strong and still remains." turns out he was listening to Dokken recently and that was one of his favorite songs from that timeless 80's band. Lincoln's own friends would be there to help support him; and of course the rest of his own family. "Lincoln, are you in there?" said a voice. It was Lori

"Yeah it's me." Lincoln said with a sigh

"Well Mason, Yakov, Jesse, Sam, and Jenny are here." said Leni. "They wanted to know if you're doing ok. And is there anything me and Lori can get for you? Like... a new video game, or a cool new super suit? I got some ideas for you on what Ace Savvy should look like just in case you get bored with the original look he has. You know... something cooler or more... modern?" Lincoln was touched to hear those words, but he sighed again.

"No, it's ok. I just need to be alone. Maybe listen to some music." Lincoln called back. "Thanks for caring guys, but I don't need anything."

"OK." said Lori. Both the two eldest sisters walked away from the bathroom door and left Lincoln alone. It took the boy longer than usual and his shower lasted for thirty minutes instead of the usual fifteen so he can think things over.

When he was finished, he dried himself off with a towel and brushed his teeth, but he was moving slower than usual considering how depressed he was right now. Putting on his usual orange polo shirt and blue pants, he walked out and while brushing his hair, found the rest of his superhero team looking at him, and looking worried. Not only the heroes, but the five brave Gendarmerie soldiers were there as well. "Hey Lincoln," said Jenny walking up to him, and putting a hand on his left shoulder.

"I'm fine, Jenny. I still can't believe she's gone." Lincoln let out yet another sigh. "I wish there was something to bring her back from the dead." he slightly looked away from his new girlfriend.

"Come on Lincoln, it wasn't your fault. said Jenny.

"Then why did Bobby scream that it was at the funeral yesterday?"

"He was just as shocked as everyone else was." said Paton.

Chevalier cleared his throat and added: "Besides, we didn't hear anyone else in her family lash out at you at all."

"We were zere after all." Leclerk pointed.

"And it was absolutely not your fault at all. Zees things happen for no reason." said Adewale.

"Bobby doesn't know squat." said Jesse. "He wasn't there when it happened. If he was, then he would have perfectly understood."

"Besides," Mason added. "He was just so sad and heartbroken over losing his sister. It's like what you said about being a superhero: You can't save everyone."

"We have dealt with zat situation countless times before." said Sabre. "We have lost some friends on the battlefield, since we are highly trained soldiers."

"Terrorists can be a little bit of a problem at home." Adewale pointed.

"Not just in Etats-Unis." Paton added

"But everywhere else in the western world." Chevalier pointed.

Lincoln was quiet for a moment, and looked at Jenny. "I know. Come on, Bobby will get through this."

"He has to." said Yakov. "Now he feels the pain I felt, when I lost my father during the Great Purge when he was accused of associating with Leon Trotsky himself."

Jenny couldn't help but look at the meta-human. "Yakov, how old exactly are you?"

"Jenny!" Lincoln scolded.

"No, it's quite alright, Lincoln. I am perfectly fine of being asked that question. You haven't forgotten about when I told you that countless people have asked me that peculiar question?"

"Oh, that's right." said Mason

"I was born in the early nineties, but when I got in a car accident that almost killed me, a scientist found me and reconstructed me into this. So... it slowed down my aging process."

"Right." Jenny said. "I was only curious, that's all."

"Understandable. What I mean, Lincoln," said Yakov, "Everything will get better over time. All you have to do is get back into the swing of things."

"He's got a point." said Sam. "Is there anything we can get for you? Ice cream?"

"or do a song with me and Luna?" Mason added.

"You might know this but I play really good at guitar." Jesse boasted.

"Or do you need some time alone?" Luna frowned.

"Yeah, I think the last option is a better idea." Lincoln said. "thanks guys for trying to help, but I just need a little hot chocolate to help me."

"That's fine." said Luna. Suddenly, the crime Indicator was blaring, and everyone (minus Lincoln) went up to see what was going on.

"Screamo's at it again!" said Jesse. "He be crazy!"

"Well that's what we're here for." said Sam.

"Looks like it's up to us to stop him again." Jenny said.

They all rushed out the door where Luna saw Lincoln get himself some hot chocolate for himself. "Are you coming, Linc?" she asked softly

"Nah, you guys go on without me."

"OK." said Yakov. "Come on, comrades. Evil never sleeps."

"Well we have to ship us and our men back to France." Sabre said. "Nous sommes desolee that we can't help you on zis case."

"Don't worry about it." said Mason. "We csn handle Screamo.

"Besides, you guys are more needed in France than here." Luna smirked. The team went back to the hotel to regroup with the rest of their platoon.

Lincoln got in the dining room table and je was sipping his glass of hot chocolate to help him drown his sorrows. next to him was a box of tissues (both clean ones and used ones). He just wanted to find a way to bring back his now-deceased friend somehow and wish he had the answer. Lincoln rested his hands under his forehead and wondered what he should even do next.

About two hours passed and Lincoln watched TV while drinking more of his hot cocoa. The news came up as he was flicking the channels over and over again, and caught a glimpse of the tragic event that happened last night.

He immediately flicked the channel and groaned to himself. "OK, I just need to get my mind off this." he said to himself. "I don't wanna be reminded of what happened again." then he flicked to Operation Dessert Storm.

Suddenly, he got a text from what appeared to be Sid Chang, Ronnie's best friend when she moved to Great Lakes City, and it was a video.

Curious, Lincoln played it and it was Ronnie Anne, practicing for her graduation after school. She began saying a speech on the video

Hello, my name is Ronnie Anne Santiago. This is a shoutout to all the people struggling in the world. I know times can be tough, but... there is always a glimmer of hope. Lincoln for instance, i know it can be so annoying being with a large family, for my family can be the same. But there is always a light of hope and I share that pain with you. So... always remember that you got them to back you up, and we're friends till the end. Even if i get killed by someone or a freak accident, don't ever lose hope. You're a superhero now, and you're trying to make the world a better place. So don't worry about me. There is nothing you can do or say that will make me not be your friend anymore. Even after death, we're still friends. Always remember that and don't beat yourself up. You are making the world a better place and I am so happy for that. Good luck, Lincoln, and I'll always be there for you.

This speech was very moving and Lincoln wondered when his now-deceased friend made this video. Lincoln was so happy to hear those kind of words, and he realized that Ronnie Anne would never hate him no matter what, no matter what mistakes he has committed in the past. He was really glad to see a video of this, and it showed how much of a friend Ronnie Anne was to him, only behind Clyde, Stella, Zach, Liam, and Rusty.

A newfound confidence built up in him, along with great relief. After all, before her last, dying breath; Ronnie said that it was not Lincoln's fault and what happened that night was a sacrifice for him. If she him after what he angrily said to her, she wouldn't even care if Lincoln was killed by Abomination.

Yes, he couldn't let her death bring him down like this, although he was atill traumatized about the whole ordeal, he still had his whole life ahead of him.

"What about Bobby?" he thought to himself. "Does he really hate me? I can just try to talk to him and tell him it wasn't my fault."
