Chapter 2-

"Flight 1122 to Seattle now boarding at Gate H6," I hear my flight being called over the intercom.

"This is it," I say to myself. I stood up, threw my duffel over my shoulder, and walked over to get in line to board my plane. I didn't get back to sleep last night after waking up from that nightmare. So, to say that I'm exhausted would be an understatement. I'm hoping that I'd be able to sleep on the plane, but with my fear of flying, that's wishful thinking on my part. I've always felt closer to death on a plane then I did in a car. After watching that movie, Final Destination, the one about the plane crash, it definitely made me feel differently about flying. When they finally let us start boarding, I let out another huge sigh. I showed the ticket attendant my ticket, then made my way through the boarding bridge. Not too many people on this flight today, so I was able to find my seat easily.

"Would you like anything before takeoff?" The flight attendant asks as I buckled myself in.

"Got any alcohol?" I asked, only half serious.

"Are you 21?" she asks.

"No,"

"Then sorry, no alcohol. But I can get you something else,"

"No thanks," I say to her. I couldn't help but give her a dirty look when she walked away. I needed alcohol just to get through this flight, but apparently, they're way strict about giving alcohol to minors. After everyone was finally on board, we were finally able to pull away from the gate.

After a long five-hour flight, we were finally landing at SeaTac airport. It was a relief to finally be back on the ground again. Thank God. I grabbed my duffel from the overhead compartment and headed toward the exit. After exiting the plane, I pulled my phone from my pocket and powered it back up. I've had several messages, mostly from Tim and Teddy. I had one message from Alex wishing me a Merry Christmas and to have fun with my family. I decided to read the rest of my messages later since I would see my brother and Teddy here just a few. I slid my phone back in my pocket and made my way through the crowded airport. It was so much busier here than it was in Indianapolis. Which didn't really surprise me, being that it's four days before Christmas. When I couldn't find my brother, I pulled my phone back out and tried to call him. He never answered so I called Teddy instead. She picked up on the first ring.

"Hey there," She greets. I could hear noises of people in the background so she must be somewhere where it's crowded.

"Hey, is Tim picking me up?" I ask her, "I can't find him and he's not answering his phone,"

"No. I'm the one picking you up. You didn't check your messages? Wait, what am I saying, you never check your messages," She jokes.

"Oh, you're real funny," I say sarcastically, "Where are you?"

"I'm over by the baggage claim," she says to me. Phone still up to my ear, I walk in the direction of the baggage claim. Apparently, she saw me before I saw her because next thing I know, I hear my name being called. "Arizona over here," I hear Teddy shout. I look in the direction on where the voice was coming from, and I finally see her raising her arms to get my attention. I smile, then hung up the phone and made my way towards her. "Oh, my god, it's so good to have you home," She says, pulling me into a tight hug, "How was the flight?"

"The flight was okay. Very bumpy," I say, cringing at the thought of the turbulence we all suffered. She just laughs and takes my duffel from me, and we make our way towards the exit.

"So, is Tim excited?" I ask her, climbing into the passenger seat of her jeep.

"Oh, you have no idea. Ever since you told him you were coming home for Christmas; he hasn't shut up about it. Oh, speaking of, we have a surprise for you,"

"Oh, come on, Teddy. You know I hate surprises," I whine. She knows I hate surprises, but she doesn't seem to care. She does it anyway.

"I know, but you will love this one, I promise," she says as we pull away from the airport.

Fifteen minutes later, we were finally pulling into the driveway. I could see Tim standing by the front door. Even though it was dark, I still could see a wide grin on his face.

"Hey Sis, long time no see," He greets, pulling me into a hug.

"Yeah, no kidding," I say, returning the hug. We pulled away and walked into the house.

"Wow not much has changed since August," I say, taking a look around.

"Nope, everything is still the same. Only thing we changed was your room, but that's all put back together now. But make yourself at home, I'm going to go put your bag in your room," he says before disappearing down the hall.

"Would you like a beer?" Teddy asks as we walk into the kitchen.

"What's the surprise?" I ask her, ignoring her question.

"Let's just wait for, Tim," she says, handing me a beer. We shouldn't be drinking since were underage but leave it to Teddy to never follow the rules. She used to get us into a lot of trouble with our parents after they would catch us drinking their beer or other kind of alcohol.

"Aren't you going to have one too?" I ask her.

"Yeah, I'm going to have one," she says, pulling a couple more out of the fridge.

"Okay, so are you ready for our surprise?" Tim asks, joining us in the kitchen.

"Yes, I want to know. Tell me, tell me," I say with a little bounciness.

"Okay, as you know, Teddy and I have been together since your guy's freshman year,"

"Yeah, anddd?" I draw out.

"Well…" he stops, moving to stand next to Teddy then puts his arm around her.

"Oh, for fuck's sake, just tell me," I say impatiently, taking a sip of my beer.

"Okay, well we decided to get married," he finally says. I start to cough as beer flies from my mouth and nose.

"Eww, Arizona, that's gross," Teddy says handing me a napkin.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting that," I say to them, "You're seriously getting married? Now? At our age?"

"What do you mean at our age? Arizona, I'm 20 years old. I have you and Teddy by two years,"

"Okay, but still, don't' you guys want to wait a while longer? You know when you both are a little older?" They were a little taken back by the tone in my voice. I'm happy for them, really, I am, but it just seems all too soon for them. I, for one, wouldn't be getting married, let alone thinking about marriage at 18. I mean, I just started college. I want to wait a little bit before I got married. But that's just me.

"Arizona, come on, we love each other. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mom and Dad get married young?"

"Yeah…"

"Okay then. Besides, I'm happier than I've ever been. Ever since Mom and Dad died, Teddy's been by our side through everything," He's right. She has and I don't know what I'd do without her, "Please, just be happy for us. We both want this, okay,"

"Okay," I say to them. I give them a small smile, "I am happy for you guys, really. It just caught me off guard. So, we have what, a year to plan?"

"Actually," Teddy says, looking at Tim, "The wedding is going to be New Year's Eve,"

My eyes went wide. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "That soon? I figured you'd wait and plan things out,"

"Well, we did plan. We made the plans while you were at school. We decided like a month ago, that we didn't want to wait. Then we picked the date just after you told us you were coming home. So, since we knew you weren't leaving until after New Year's, we went ahead and decided to have the wedding while you were here,"

"Okay then. Well like I said, I'm very happy for the both of you. You both deserve to be happy and if this is what you want to do, I'm all for it,"

"Thanks, Zo," Teddys says to me, "Means a lot. Oh, I almost forgot, Derek is going to officiate the wedding. We got him ordained last week, so he's going to be doing the ceremony since the courthouse will be closed. Oh, we are also hosting the Christmas Eve party this year,"

"Oh, good. Who's all coming? And how big of a wedding are you guys having? Is it going to be in a church?"

"Nope. It's going to be at Meredith and Derek's. They said that we can use their living room. Then once the ceremony is over, we're moving the after party to Joe's to celebrate. I heard that they had started doing karaoke, so I figured we'd go celebrate and do some singing,"

"Okay, well this should be fun. How are we supposed to drink if were not 21?" I ask her, raising my brow.

"It's called fake I. D's," she says to me.

"Fake I. D's? Seriously? That's your plan?" she just shakes her and smiles, "Are you insane? We could never pull that off again. No, no, I take that back. We almost got away with it the first time if you hadn't mouthed off to that female cop, the night of our graduation. That same cop who happened to be Derek's Mom, if I recall,"

"I didn't get cocky with any cop," she says, furrowing her brow in confusion.

"You were drunk, how would you know? You got mouthy with her, telling her that it was graduation and were just trying to have fun and needed to pull that stick out of her ass and just leave us alone. Then Mrs. Shepherd ended up calling you a cocky bitch, remember?"

"Oh yeah, now I remember," she says laughing, "That was a fun night. But seriously, not to worry. We will pull this one off this time,"

I just gave her a dirty look.

"Oh, come on, Arizona. You need to chill out. You need to live a little bit. Stop getting your virgin panties in a tight bunch. It will be fun. You will see. Now we need to get to bed,"

"Okay fine, I will see you guys tomorrow. Love you," I say to them as I make my way down the hall to my room.

"We love you too," I hear them both say.
