"Sorry but no." Rosalie sighed as she left the last people in the area with back stage passes. Although she was proud that her mate was loved by so many right now she was cursing Bella Swan fans' loyalty. Between her and her three siblings they had approached over four dozen people and no matter how much they offered no one was willing to sell them passes. Rosalie wasn't happy that that option was off the table.
"What should we do now?" Emmett asked. He couldn't believe the amounts of money people turned down just for a chance to meet someone. He overheard Alice offer to transfer a million dollars to a pair in return for their passes and had been told no. "The fighting option is still on the table."
"We aren't fighting anyone Emmett." Veronica's voice didn't sound as stern as she would have liked. Even though it wasn't a smart way to get backstage it would probably get Bella's attention.
"I have an idea but for it to work we would need a distraction." Alice said.
"No Alice." Rosalie didn't want to do any kind of plan that needed a distraction.
"You haven't even heard the plan yet." Alice whined.
Emmett shrugged his shoulders."I think we should hear her out first. It's not like we have any other ideas."
"Fine." Rosalie gave in only because Emmett was right. They didn't have any other ideas.
"Ok great. So you guys do something to distract the bouncers and Rosalie and I will sneak in. Once inside we find Bella and you two can talk." Alice smiled widely at the genius of her plan.
"How are you going to find Bella?" Veronica asked.
"I haven't figured that part out yet." Alice admitted.
"Well I think we should at least try. What do you think Rosalie?" Emmett was pretty sure that Alice's plan would work.
Rosalie pushed aside the thoughts about how many ways this could go wrong. "I can't think of a better plan."
"Exactly. Let us get close to the doors and then do whatever it is you are going to do." Alice pulled Rosalie as close to the backstage doors as they could get without being seen.
"I got this." Emmett stepped into the middle of the crowd and loudly proclaimed. "Bella Swan is a hack. I bet she uses auto tune on all her albums."
Rosalie went wide eyed as she watched as the crowd turned towards Emmett and started to shout at him. It was when the fans escalated from just yelling to getting physical that the security guards jumped in to break up the fight. Rosalie hurried after Alice as they made it through the doors without being seen. "Jesus I didn't know he was going to start a riot."
"It was a pretty smart way to get a quick reaction." Alice said.
"Where should we go?" Rosalie was surprised by the many hallways they were faced with picking from. She had assumed that there would be one hallway with doors on either side not this maze in front of them.
"Let's just go towards the stage and ask someone for directions when we get there." Alice said.
As they walked farther down the hallway and didn't see anyone Rosalie was convinced they were going in the wrong direction. Just as she was about to bring her concerns up to Alice a dark shadow moved in front of them making both Rosalie and Alice jump. "What the hell?"
"I don't think you two are supposed to be back here." When the man stepped from the shadows Rosalie realized it was Bella's brother Sebastian.
"We were just looking for the back stage meet and greet area." Alice told him.
"So you have VIP passes then?"It was obvious to both girls that Sebastian didn't think they did.
Rosalie tried to think of a lie that would let them off the hook but couldn't. "Well we did."
"Yeah." Alice agreed picking up on Rosalie's lie. "It's just that… Well we don't want to get in trouble but we snuck back here after giving our passes away to two young teenagers."
"Aren't you the good samaritans." Sebastian said.
Rosalie couldn't tell what Sebastian was thinking but he hadn't kicked them out yet so she decided to push their luck. "Yes we are. So now that you know is there anyway you could show us where the meet and greet is happening?"
"Why is it you want to meet my sister?" Sebastian asked with obvious suspicion.
"We are both big fans." Alice said. She wasn't sure if the man was actually going to help them but hoped he would.
"That may be but I don't think she would want to meet either of you." Sebastian told them.
Rosalie had to hold back a growl as she realized she was being denied access to her mate. "Listen we aren't going to do anything to her. We aren't any kind of just want to meet her."
"Oh I know you aren't a threat to her." Sebastian chuckled."None of your kind are."
"What do you mean our kind?" Rosalie asked.
"Nothing for you to worry about."Sebastian dismissed Rosalie's concern.
"So is there a way for us to meet Bella?" Alice asked trying to get back on track.
"I will ask my sister but I wouldn't get my hopes up." Sebastian said cryptically.
"Thank you." Alice said.
Sebastian pulled out his phone and typed a message. His phone dinged with a response and Rosalie felt herself holding her breath waiting to know their fate. "She said that she appreciates you being fans but would rather not meet with you at this time."
"Wait she knows who we are?" Alice didn't know how Bella would know about them without meeting them.
"You were the ones in the front row who caught her sunglasses." Sebastian told them.
"And even without meeting us Bella decided she didn't want to interact with us?" Rosalie had a feeling something else was at play here. Something that she didn't understand.
"Look my sister is very busy. She doesn't have time to meet every fan." Sebastian motioned to the hallway they had come down. "Let me escort you back the way you came."
Rosalie knew they were being kicked out and felt the need to try one more time. "I know she is busy. Is there a way for us to meet her in the future when she has some free time?"
"Bella doesn't like for her free time to be interrupted. If you want to see her again she is preforming three shows in Portland next weekend." Sebastian opened the door for Rosalie and Alice to exit. He nodded to the security guards. "These two ladies were just leaving."
"Of course sir." One of the burly guards closed the door and glared at Rosalie and Alice.
Taking the hint Rosalie pulled Alice away and went to go find Emmett and Veronica. "Well that was a bust."
"Emmett said they are waiting in the car for us." Alice put her cell phone away. "I don't think it was a complete bust though."
"How could you say that Alice. Her brother kicked us out." Rosalie hadn't wanted to leave but knew that fighting Bella's brother wasn't a good idea if she wanted to get on her mate's good side.
"Did you guys meet Bella?" Emmett asked from the backseat of Rosalie's car as she slid into the driver's seat with Alice following her into the passenger seat.
"No but we did meet her brother." Alice told him.
"That's a good thing right?" Noticing the looks on their faces Emmett asked. "Is that not a good thing?"
"I'm not sure if it was or not." Rosalie said. "He shot down every attempt we made to see Bella. He even texted her to ask if she would be willing to meet us."
"Did he know who you were?" Veronica asked.
"Apparently both he and Bella knew exactly who we were. Something didn't feel right though. It was like he knew something we didn't" Rosalie still couldn't figure out what it was about Sebastian that made her so suspicious.
Alice nodded. "I felt the same way. Especially when you told him we weren't a threat and he said that thing about your kind."
"What did he mean by your kind?" Veronica wondered if they knew they were vampires.
"I asked him but he ignored the question. I do get the feeling he knew we were vampires." Rosalie said.
"Is he something supernatural as well?" Emmett thought it would be cool if someone so famous was like them.
Rosalie thought about their interaction. "He seemed human. He had a human heart beat at least. Plus he didn't smell like a shifter. What else he could have been I'm not sure."
"I think he's human." Alice hadn't detected anything unnatural about the man.
"So what did you learn from your meeting?" Veronica had no idea how they were going to meet Bella if Rosalie and Alice had been denied by Bella herself.
"We learned that Bella knew who we were but didn't want to meet us and that she is doing three shows in Portland next weekend." Alice was already on her phone looking for tickets and VIP passes.
"Ok but that is a week away. What are we going to do until then?" Emmett was already making plans on how to meet Bella including one where they scaled the side of her hotel building to gain access to her balcony.
"Until then we go home and regroup. If we can't figure out anything by Friday then we go to Portland for her concerts and try to get VIP passes again. I'm sure someone will be willing to sell." Even though she said it Rosalie wasn't that hopeful that they would be able to get backstage. She should have tried to get tickets to those concerts as well and not just focused on Seattle. The only thing for them to do now was to get home and put in a group effort to get tickets and VIP passes. Edward and Lauren would be useless for this but Rosalie knew she could count on the rest of her family to help her get a chance to meet her mate.
