"Would you like to sit with your family or would rather sit with me?" Isabella asked Rosalie. The had just boarded the Volturi's private jet and the Cullens had been positioned in the middle with Felix, Alec and Dimitri behind them and Heidi and Athenodora in front of them. Isabella was of course going to sit with her mother but didn't want to force Rosalie to as well incase she didn't want to.

"I'll sit with you." Rosalie wanted to stay near Isabella. Not only to be close to her mate but to have protection from the others on the plane. She wasn't sure what was going to happen but felt the best course of action was to stay close to Isabella.

"Ok." Isabella led Rosalie to the two seats across from her mother and Heidi. She could tell from Heidi's expression that the vampire was holding back from teasing her and knew that her mother had probably warned Heidi to wait until they didn't have an audience.

Athenodora waited until her daughter and the Cullen girl sat down to speak. "Is it safe to talk?"

"Yes." Isabella didn't have to ask what her mother meant. The queen wanted to know if Isabella had shielded them so that no one could hear them talking.

"Good now we can get to know Rosalie without eavesdroppers." Athenodora held back a smile at the way the blond vampire seemed to lean into Isabella's side. She didn't want to intimidate the poor girl but it was her place as Isabella's mother to make sure her mate was a good person and would treat her right. "How old are you?"

Rosalie was now rethinking her decision to sit with Isabella. The queen was even scarier when she had her compete attention on you. "I was born in 1905 but changed in 1923."

"I see so you are almost the same age as our Isabella. We aren't sure when she was born but she was changed into a vampire in 1885." Athenodora was pleased that the two were around the same age. That meant that Isabella would be better able to relate to her mate.

"You don't know when you were born?" Rosalie was surprised to hear that.

Isabella shook her head. "We believe because my turning was so violent that I lost all my human memories due to the trauma."

"Like what happened with Alice. She doesn't remember her human life either. She only found out recently that was because she had been in a mental institute before she was changed and received shock treatments that affected her mind making her forget." Rosalie explained. She wanted to ask what happened to Isabella but felt that it wasn't a subject they should bring up at that time. She knew she wouldn't want to bring up the events that led to her turning right then.

"Interesting." Athenodora hoped that Alice was innocent because it would be nice to talk to someone who went through what her daughter went through and learn how it affected her. She knew that Didyme would be interested. The queen was interested in anything that would help her understand their daughter better.

"So our little princess has been saving herself for her mate. What about you?" Heidi asked unable to resist.

"Heidi!" Isabella scolded. Turning to Rosalie she spoke. "You don't have to answer that."

Although it was a personal question Rosalie wasn't ashamed of her answer. Not only was it the same as Isabella's but it pleased her to no end that her mate had saved herself so they could share that experience together."I have also been saving myself for my mate."

"Excellent." It was obvious Isabella was pleased to hear that and Athenodora knew that her other mothers would be as well. They had had many talks about how they would deal with Isabella when she finally found her mate. As Isabella hadn't shown any interested in either men or women they weren't sure what the gender would be but they all had hoped that they had the same conviction as Isabella and had saved themselves for their mate.

"Anyway can we move on to a different topic." Isabella didn't want to talk about her sex life or lack there of. It was something she only wanted to speak to her mate about and that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. They had many more important things to deal with before she could spend alone time with Rosalie.

"Yes let's talk about how your other mothers are going to react to the news of you having a mate." Heidi was excited to see the queens' reactions and hoped that she got to be in the room when they found out.

"I'm sure they will be happy for me." Isabella said.

"I'm sure they will be as well." Athenodora predicted that the other two would put on a brave front but there would be some unhappiness that Isabella found her other half. Her mothers wanted their daughter to be happy but Isabella being bonded to another vampire would limit the queens time with Isabella. Poor Didmye would be the one most affected and Athenodora wasn't looking forward to the moment her mate was in private and the inevitable breakdown.

"What are your other mothers like?" Rosalie wanted to know what she was getting into. Athenodora was turning out to not be so bad and had yet to be hostile to Rosalie so she hoped Isabella's other mothers were the same. Rosalie figured they had to be because Athenodora was considered the most dangerous out of the triad.

Isabella thought about how to answer. It wasn't something she was asked often. "My mom Sulpicia is a big history buff and we spend a lot of time in the library studying or in the museum looking over artifacts. We both like Egyptian history the best and a few decades ago my mom took me there so I could see the pyramids. That was fun because we got to go inside some that had been considered to dangerous for humans and acquired some really cool stuff."

"And yet she claims she doesn't spoil you." Athenodora said.

"I'm not spoiled." Isabella grumbled causing Heidi and Athenodora to laugh.

"Sure you aren't." Heidi knew all about how the queens indulged her friend. Since Isabella had started living in the castle it had been remodeled several times just to add room for Isabella's various things. Before Isabella had come Heidi had never known the queens to change anything now they had a movie theater and arcade. Not that she or the rest of the guard complained of course because Isabella was nice enough to share her things with them. They had even started a tradition of movie nights when most of the guard that weren't on duty would gather in the theater where they would watch newly released movies. Heidi hadn't even known half of the guard before Isabella came but because of her wanting to spend time with everyone they were all closer than ever.

"Let her tell Rosalie what Didyme is like and then we will see if she can tell us she isn't spoiled." Athenodora teased.

"Momma doesn't spoil me that bad." Before the other two could voice their disagreement Isabella continued. "My momma Didyme is very sweet and caring. That doesn't mean that she is a pushover. She won't put up with disrespect and believes everyone should have manners. She also loves to garden and we spend a lot of time in her many gardens around the castle grounds tending to each different one."

"You call each of your mothers something different?" Rosalie was leaning towards the queens being not so bad if Rosalie was respectful and well mannered. That would be easy for Rosalie. Her upbringing had shaped her into a well to do woman and that meant acting a certain way. She never thought that she would ever be grateful of her mother's constant pushing so that she would be the perfect lady but now it seemed those lessons would come in handy.

"Yes I call Athenodora mother, Sulpicia mom and Didyme momma. I started doing that on my own. They were more than content for me to call them by their first names but as I started accepting the bond it didn't feel right calling them that." Isabella told her.

Athenodora smiled as she remembered the first time Isabella had asked her and her mates if it would be alright if she called them by those names. Didyme had started sobbing and Isabella panicked thinking she had done something wrong. It had taken a few minutes to get Isabella to believe that Didyme was just happy and she hadn't upset her. Even after all these years with their daughter sometimes when Isabella calls her momma she tears up. That doesn't mean it didn't affect her other mothers though. Sulpicia had held Isabella tightly and every time she called her mom after that she would give Isabella a hug or just touch her in some way. It was like she had to prove to herself Isabella was actually there with them and Anthenodora although stoic usually had smiled brightly and kissed Isabella on the cheek and that feeling of happiness had never dimmed. Even now just hearing Isabella call her mother brought that same amount of happiness to her.

"So have you been with Carlisle and his coven most of your life?" Isabella asked.

Rosalie shot a look at her family and noticed that Carlisle was glaring at them. She knew he hated the queens but didn't understand why she was on the receiving end of that look. If anything he should be nicer to her than he usually was because Rosalie would probably have a chance to plead for the family's safety. "Yes, he turned me and I've been with him ever since."

"Is it true that you pretend to be high school students and go to school year after year?" When Isabella had learned of that she had been confused why someone would want to repeat the same thing over and over again. There were so many ways for vampires to blend in with humans that you could do almost anything.

"Yes, we do that so we can stay in one place longer. The earlier we start out the less likely humans will catch on to us not aging." Rosalie told them.

"How long do you usually stay in one place for?" Heidi asked.

"No longer than ten years. Most of the time five." Rosalie said.

"So you spend most of your time in one place pretending to be human so you can stay in one place longer. You could easily do that without having to do that so what is the point. Do you like going to high school?" Athenodora also found what the Cullens did odd. It was like they didn't want to enjoy life.

"It allows Carlisle the chance to work at hospitals longer." Rosalie explained.

"So you go through high school over and over so that Carlisle can enjoy his life?" Heidi wanted to make sure she understood exactly what Rosalie was saying.

Rosalie hadn't really thought of it like that but now that it was being pointed out to her it seemed like they did just do what they could to allow Carlisle to fulfill his desire to be a doctor. "Well I guess we do."

"You don't see a problem with that?" Isabella asked.

"Well I didn't really think about it. I mean we do travel by ourselves." Rosalie said.

"You have traveled by yourself?"Athenodora didn't believe for a second that Carlisle would let one of his coven members leave without supervision.

Rosalie shook her head. "Not by myself but I have traveled with the others. I was actually planning on taking a trip after the fight with Victoria was over."

"Where were you wanting to go?" Isabella noticed Rosalie was becoming uncomfortable with the line of questions so decided to change the subject.

"I hadn't decided yet." Rosalie was glad for the subject change but was a little embarrassed to admit that she was actually going to travel with hopes of finding her mate. Not that it was something to be embarrassed about. She just felt silly now that she found her mate.

"Well maybe when we get settled you can figure it out and we can go together."Isabella wouldn't mind going on a trip with Rosalie.

"You will have to talk to your mothers before you work out the details." Athenodora was already predicting the hurt feelings from her two mates when Isabella told them she wanted to travel. It was one of Sulpicia's biggest fears that Isabella would leave the castle and decide that she didn't want to come back.

"Of course we will mother. I wouldn't go anywhere without your permission." Isabella assured her.

Rosalie thought it was odd that Isabella would have to ask for permission but when she really thought about it if she or one of her siblings wanted to do something they had to ask Carlisle if he would allow it. She wondered if the queens would allow them to travel or if they would insist they just stay in the castle. If Athenodora personally came to take care of a newborn problem because Isabella was there as it was obvious she did then Rosalie wondered if one of the queens would insist they traveled with them. She wasn't sure how she would feel traveling with the queens. Rosalie promised to talk to Isabella more about it later.

"It looks like we are about to land." Heidi said.

"What will happen when we get there?" Rosalie asked.

"When the plane lands we will be met with members of the guard who will escort your coven to the castle where they will be held until they are questioned. As for you, you will be accompanying Isabella to the royal wing where you will be introduced to the other queens because there is no way they aren't going to not only want to see Isabella but meet you as soon as possible." Athenodora explained.

Noticing Rosalie's nervousness Isabella reached for her hand and gave it a squeeze. "Don't worry my mothers are going to love you."

"Let's hope." Rosalie mumbled as the feeling of dread washed over her. The idea that she was not only going to be meeting the queens soon but that the fate of her family was up in the air was causing her great concern. Hopefully Isabella would be able to keep them all safe and if she couldn't then Rosalie would deal with the fallout and not blame it on Isabella or the queens. The laws were broken so there would be a price to pay. What that price was she wasn't sure but she hoped that it wouldn't be death to her entire family.
