The tribunal had arrived in a blur of passing time. For their part under the watchful eyes of Marrow, Jaune and Allison reviewed his case over and over. They discussed her strategy, and what it would mean if it worked. They spoke on his wants, and his worries. His sister Saphron, her wife Terra and child Adrian were still missing; and that was weighing heavily on Jaune's mood.

"The authorities are going to find them Jaune. They're going to fine them safe and sound. I know it's bothering you, but need you to focus. This is important." Allison spoke as Jaune looked down at the table they were seated behind. "You wont be able to see them if you fall apart now. I need you to be strong. No emotions. I'll get you through this, and I'll get you through Vale. I promise."

"You know what the Arc motto is?" Jaune asked.

"No."

"An Arc never goes back on a promise."

"That's a good motto."

"You're promising."

"I'm not an Arc, but I'll do my best to honour it."

"So what is going to happen?"

"Once the judges enter they will have to address the motions I put forward first before moving on to anything else."

"Will it work?"

"We'll find out shortly."

Everyone in attendance stood as the trio of military judges entered. After being seated the judges gave their introductions, as did the prosecution and the defence. In the crowd Winter and Marrow watched from the back. Winter's appeal had gone through and Markus was able to get her short term removal from the Specialists revoked. So now she was there as Marrow's junior ranked partner, to keep an eye on things. She of course was also there to be called up to testify. At the defence table Allison reviewed the notes on her scroll, while on the prosecutions side there was no activity. At the bench the three judges discussed something among themselves before the lead judge called the court to order.

"Before we continue, there are the matter of three defence motions to be addressed. So we will do that before any opening remarks are made. First and foremost if the motion for dismissal of this case. Defence."

"If it so pleases the court," Allison started as she rose from her seat, "I would like to point out that there are many troubling factors about this case, which if even taken separately would be enough to have the charges the prosecution is trying to bring against my client thrown out."

Allison took a quick breath before continuing.

"Firstly I would like to point out that Mister Jaune Arc is not an Atlas or even a Mantle resident. He is a civilian from Vale. Which begs the question why is a Vale citizen in an Atlas military court? He is here because of the illegal and immoral actions of certain members with in our forces. Those members took him from his home, and brought him here against his will."

Allison again paused as she turned a thumbed a page aside on the tablet scroll sitting before her.

"While being held with in the confines of Atlas he was subjected to unethical medical procedures, without his consent. This is in fact a breech of his Civil Rights. SO with all of these factors to consider it can only lead to the logical conclusion that the charges against Mister Jaune Arc are invalid, and borderline illegal."

"We see. What else can you offer, in way of reasoning that should make us consider this motion?" stated the lead judge.

"If it pleases the court, it should be noted that all the actions taken against Mister Arc, for the supposed safety of the public were illegal and immoral. Atlas had no right to take him from Vale, which if we consult even just the Criminal Code of Vale constitutes Kidnapping. An indictable offence. The state with which he was held in Atlas constitutes Unlawful Confinement, which is a summary conviction offence."

Allison stopped to take a sip of water before once again continuing.

"And finally the medical procedures he was subject to. They by definition again using just the Criminal Code of Vale, constitute Bodily Harm. Another indictable offence. The prosecution's whole case is constructed by illegal means. In so far as it should be the Atlas military on trial here today for their treatment of Mister Arc."

"Interesting. Though he is being charged with multiple counts of Bodily harm causing death, against military personnel."

"While it is a tragedy that those deaths had occurred, it is a fact that if Mister Arc had not been brought to Atlas via illegal and inhumane means those deaths would not have occurred."

"If it pleases the court."

"Prosecution."

"Mister Arc was brought to Atlas because of the activation of his semblance. All the procedures my colleague is attempting to state as immoral were needed to determine the extent of his semblance, and procure information as to its nature."

"If it pleases the court." Allison countered, "While Mister Arc did suffer an uncontrolled activation of his semblance, and that lead to a Rogue Semblance incident, the question still remains. Why was he kept in the conditions he was kept in, and more importantly if the incident happened in Vale, which it did, why is he in Atlas."

"If it pleases the court. Mister Arc was brought to Atlas because Vale was unable to deal with him, due the current state of affairs in that kingdom immediately after the Battle and Fall of Beacon. They did not have the resources needed to deal with Mister Arc."

"If it pleases the court. If Vale did not have the resources, but Atlas did, why then was Mister Arc kept sedated while being tested on? Even the SCS states that all relevant attempts to identify a semblance must be done with the FULL consent of the individual in question. Mister Arc was unable to give that consent due to being heavily sedated. Hence the actions taken by Atlas were immoral, unethical, and illegal."

"If it pleases the court. All actions taken in regards to Mister Arc were for the safety of the public. Mister Arc's semblance when activated was shown to be extremely violent and capable of causing not only great harm to individuals but also property."

"If it pleases the court." Allison took a sip of water before continuing, "If the prosecution wants to tout the for public safety argument, which I must agree is partially valid, I must point out, that just locking individuals up and saying it is for the safety of the public without due process is paramount to living in a police state were the rights of the individual no longer matter. Again I must stress that ALL the actions taken in regards to Mister Arc were unjust, unethical and immoral."

"If it pleases the court. Mister Arc is accused of slaughtering upwards of thirty Atlas military personnel. That itself is a testament to how dangerous he is and can be."

"If it pleases the court. Those military personnel, would not have been put into the regrettable position they found themselves in if not for the choices of a select few members of the upper command of the Atlas military. Those deaths should be brought against them in the form of gross negligence; and not be thrown at my client. The actions of Atlas lead to those deaths. Those needless deaths."

"Enough." the second judge, "Is this case as one sided as you seem to believe it is Lieutenant Richards?"

"Your honours. Yes it is. The prosecutions whole case revolves around my clients actions while he was being held captive. While he was being subjected to medical procedures that took no regard to his well being or mental health. I have affidavits from reputable doctors that speak to Mister Arc's current and probable mental states. In regards to the unfortunate incident at Site 51, my client was under almost as much duress as he had been at the Battle of Beacon; and as such he lashed out in self defence."

Allison took another sip of water and flipped another page.

"My client will admit to causing the unfortunate deaths, but they happened do to no fault of his own. He was put in a situation beyond his control; and the court needs to see the actions of Atlas itself as the contributing factor. Again I will reiterate, if Atlas had not proceeded as they had, and committed the actions which they did, none of this would be an issue. Mister Arc was not given the assistance he needed as outlined in the SCS, in fact it was the exact opposite."

"Thank you." the lead judge spoke up. "We will take your arguments under advisement, and will deliberate on their merits after we address the remaining two motions. Motion to have a change of Venue?"

"If it pleases the court. Mister Arc is a Vale citizen, and a civilian. I would ask that this proceeding; if it is to continue be moved to a civilian court to be tried before a judge and jury. It is Mister Arcs right to be tried in a matter that is as neutral as possible. Having a civilian tried by a military tribunal, even if the victims were military personnel interferes with his rights to a fair an impartial proceeding."

"Are you trying to insinuate that this court would be impartial to the evidence disclosed during this proceeding?"

"No your honours. What I am saying is that this court deals with the UCMJ, which has no bearing on Mister Arc as a civilian. If he is to be charged and tried under a breach in Criminal Code, and under the Semblance Control Statues; then it should take place in a forum that meats those needs."

"Prosecution?"

"If it pleases the court. We have no counter to this argument and will leave it to your discretion."

"Very well. When we adjourn we will also deliberate this motion. And finally a notice of a counter suit? Defence."

"If it pleases the court. Mister Arc was taken from Vale, his home kingdom. He was held without due process, and confined without regards to his person. As his legal representation we are seeking through the civilian channels to bring suit against the Atlas military high command for Kidnapping in the first degree, and unlawful confinement."

"And this is being brought before us why?"

"If it pleases the court. It is a courtesy, as well as an underlying point. Mister Arc was illegally treated. We will be seeking reperations. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Mister Arc has had to suffer on that road, and has the right to see his assailants brought forth to answer for their good intentions."

"Very well. We will take this notice under advisement. Court is adjourned until ten o'clock tomorrow morning."

Everyone rose as the trio of judges did, and stayed that way until they had left. The gallery began to also file out as the prosecution quickly packed up his own materials and left. Soon the only ones still in the court room were Jaune, Allison, Marrow and Winter.

"So will it work?" Marrow asked as he took a seat on the edge of the table near Jaune.

"I hope so."

"So what's next?" asked Winter as she stood just off from Allison.

"We wait, and I prepare some further arguments in case the tribunal wants further information. I have Doctor Jekyll and Doctor Watson on call and ready to speak on his behalf before and during the trial, so if I have to I'll refer to them."

"So are you really launching a counter suit against Atlas?"

"Yes."

"That is not going to be a pretty fight." Marrow commented.

"Pretty or not. This bullshit all needs to come out, and I only know of one way to do it."

Jaune remained silent through the back and forth. His mind not on the case, but on the well being of his sister. Allison's performance today, and that's all he could compare it to, a performance. Was intense, and focused, but still he had doubts. Was anyone actually on his side. Winter was here because she was being punished. Marrow as nice as he was; was only here because his semblance could stop him. Was there anyone really there for him? He wanted to believe Allison was, but then the things she had said about her own office, her own people were causing him trouble. IF her office couldn't be trusted, could she?

"So what happens if this all goes through, and ends up in a civilian court? I mean you're a military lawyer and can't really represent him there right?"

"I'm already working on that, and Vale."

"Vale?" Jaune asked finally fully tuning into the conversation.

"After we are done here, we'll be heading back to Vale. You'll be facing a similar situation there."

"You said we?" Jaune asked.

"Yes I did. We will be heading to Vale. I'm going to represent you wherever and whenever you need me too. I'm already making arrangements."

"What arrangements?" asked Winter.

"I've applied for a civilian barrister's license here in Atlas and Mantle, as well as one in Vale. When the paperwork all goes through I'll be one of a few lawyers capable of practising law in both kingdoms."

"Why?" Jaune asked.

"I promised you Jaune. I promised you I would get you home, and I'm going to do it."

"So what does this all mean for your military career?" Winter asked.

"I'm going to resign once this tribunal ends."

"Resign?"

"I can't work for an office that treats Jaune like they have. I can't be part of an organization that will toss rights aside just because it's easier and faster to do what they feel is best without them. No, I'm done with it, once the tribunal is over."

Lisa Lavender had finally made it to Atlas and was in the process of trying to secure a meeting with Jaune Arc. While she was a well known video celebrity, as well as an award winning journalist; she had no military credentials and was being stalled by the bureaucracy of that institution. She understood why. No organization truly wanted a journalist of any calibre not associated with it running stories about it. Embarrassments might come to light. But Lisa was trying to impress on them that she was here to speak with Jaune Arc about Vale and not Atlas, or that was what she was hoping they would believe. In her mind she was already planning out what and when she would ask and say things.

If the interview goes through she would have to take care of everything, having been sent with no crew. She was going to have to rely on her scroll for video and audio. She hoping her being alone would also speed up the process, with only having one person to vet. But it was as she and her editor had thought. It was going to be an uphill battle to get access to him, and currently for Lisa that hill looked like a mountain. So she electronically files a second and third request.

"Come on someone. Give me access." she talked to herself as she took some stock footage of the gathered protesters outside the military base. She made a mental note to ask Jaune about them as well, seeing as there were even bigger groups in action around Vale. Most notably picketing the makeshift Beacon grounds.

/=/

Like Lisa, Arthur Watts had finally made it. Although he restricted himself to Mantle, as the security in the lower city was far more inferior than the floating city of Atlas. He had noticed through his attempts to gather further information and possible blackmail materials that he was loosing his trojans.

"It would appear they had discovered the deficiencies in their current system. Pitty." he commented to himself as he settled into his cheap third floor motel room.

He glanced down at his personal scroll. Checking to see if there was any response from his plant with in the military base. The time frame for his confirmation of Jaune's location was almost up. Once his location was confirmed Watts could make the arrangements needed to deliver the special scroll to Jaune, and make his contact; to give the young man directions in what Watts needed done. With enough damage being done and lives being sacrificed, Watts would be able to not only bring Atlas down to its knees but he would also gain a route to the target to the target that would return him to his Lady's favour.

"So close." he muttered in the curtain dimmed light of the rented room. "So close."

/=/

Allison and Jaune sat in the small meeting room that was quickly turning into Allison's other office. Under the watchful eye of Marrow whom Jaune had allowed to attend all these meetings between him and his lawyer they talked. Marrow knew everything he was hearing was confidential, and had been given special privileges to treat his own knowledge of the happenings with in the small room with the same degree of confidentiality that Jaune received from Allison. Everything he saw and heard unless it consituted a direct threat on or to the base could not and would not be disclosed.

"So first things first. We've received requests from the media to have interviews with you. In particular one Lisa Lavender has made several submissions."

"Why would the media want to talk to me?"

"To supposedly get your side of the story, though the going ons of the tribunal are considered confidential aside from the final ruling." Allison informed him, "So it's up to you if you feel like going through with it."

"What do you suggest?"

"As your legal representative, I would do so cautiously. I could require a list of the questions they would be asking to filter out anything that I feel would be detrimental to you and your cases. But in the end it is still your decision."

"You mentioned if this goes to a civilian court we would need to do something about my public image. Right?"

"Yes I did. It would help your case if everyone heard of the good you accomplished in Beacon. It would prove you are not just some random huntsman causing chaos."

"Good? What good did I accomplish there?"

"The grimm dragon. You ended its threat before it could do any damage. I have the transcripts from Ironwoods carrier. He was going to throw everything Atlas had at the dragon in an attempt to keep it from Vale. You not only prevented a huge loss of life in Vale, but also of Atlas resources."

"So this interview would be a good thing?"

"It could be, but it could also stress you out, and that is something I want to avoid."

"So it's a good and bad thing."

"It could be. Like I said I can review all the questions and veto any that I think would be detrimental to you, and your cases."

"Could I bring up my missing sister? See if anyone in the public could help find them?"

"You could. It might also force the local authorities to ramp up their search."

"Then I think I should do it."

"Okay. Do you want the questions before hand?"

"No."

"Are you sure. They may ask you some very difficult questions. You might get triggered."

"You're not always going to be around to hold my hand. I need to start handling things, regardless of how difficult they be."

"Okay as long as you're sure. I'm still going to be there, just in case."

"So will I." Marrow added., "So just say the word, and I'll make them a statue. I'll even bring a marker for you to draw a moustache and monocle on them if you want."

"I might take you up on that." Jaune actually chuckled.

"I hope you do." Marrow commented with a sly grin. "It would be hilarious."

/=/

Watts pulled out his scroll when it chimed. Opening it up he tapped the chat program icon.

"Confirmed."

"Good."

"What's next."

"I need to get something delivered to him. Are you able."

"No. I have no access."

"To him or the base?"

"The base."

"How'd you confirm?"

"Protesters."

"Do you have any ins?"

"Might know a guy. Need time."

"How much?"

"Couple days."

"Granted."

Watts closed down the program and closed his scroll. He'd need to come up with alternate method of delivery in case this route didn't pan out. He was so close. He knew his failure to eliminate Jaune had displeased his Lady, but he was sure that his current plan would bear the fruit he needed to win back that favour.

Reopening his scroll he thumbed open the chat program and sent a quick and short direction to his other accomplice in Argus. It was quick and short.

"Things are moving forward. Stand by."

"Fine" came a quick response.

Once again Watts closed the program and his scroll.

Lisa almost cheered in excitement when she received notification that her request was being conditionally approved. She sat down on the queen sized bed that took up most of the room in her single hotel room as she reviewed the conditions.

"Lawyer can end it at anytime. Fair." she read the short list aloud, for no particular reason. "Need to disable all CCT and local transmission functions which will be confirmed via inspection. Again fair. Nope this has to be a joke. A STRIP search, is not happening. I think I'll counter that one with a full body scan."

Closing and tossing her scroll onto her bed, she flopped backward into its feather soft cushioning.

"Two days. I can hold out until then."

/=/

Tyrian had reached Mantle, and hidden in an abandoned building he attempted to plan out his next more. His rival would be in Atlas. That was going to be difficult to gain access to. Not impossible, just difficult. Maybe he could lure him out. It would be what Watts would do. He'd formulate some overly convoluted plan. That wasn't Tyrian's style. He much preferred the direct approach. But that begged the question as to what would be the best approach. He could just start killing people. Up his own count, and make Jaune defend his honour as a mass murder.

That would be fun, he cackled from his shadowed hiding place. Below him a lone security guard entered the building. Her flashlight swung back and forth as she made her way along the bottom floor. Tyrian watched her from his hiding place with in the rafters. It would be so easy, drop down and she would have no chance. Yet he held back. It would mean he'd have to find somewhere else to hole up, and he wasn't in the mood to do that tonight. So he let her progress unmolested. His mind more focused on how to draw out Jaune then his own perverse form of entertainment.

/=/

Hazel has reached Vale. Hidden outside the walls he considered his limited options for gaining entry. He could strong arm his way in by using the contacts he knew Cinder would have cultivated. He could hope no one would recognize him and try one of the gates. He could also wait for darkness and use his immense physical abilities to crawl up the side of the wall. Each had merits and demerits. Settling down he waited, and watched. Mercury and Emerald were still inside the walls and that meant getting out was nearly impossible for them, and by association he would have just as hard a time getting in as he would getting out once his task was completed.

/=/

The next day Jaune and Allison found them once again seated behind the defence table before the trio of judges. The court had been called to order, but the judges were busy with an discussion between themselves, that lasted about five minutes before the lead judge cleared his throat to speak.

"We have deliberated upon the two motions that were presented yesterday. We would like to ask the defence if there is any further arguments they wish to put forward before we announce our decisions."

"If it pleases the court," Allison started as she stood, "I would just iterate that Jaune Arc's treatment at the hands of Atlas, was immoral, unethical, and illegal; by the statutes of the SCS, Vale and Atlas Criminal Code; plus the Uniform Code of Military Justice. While the UCMJ does not applied to Jaune specifically it does apply to those in charge of Mister Arc's treatment and the conduct of this tribunal."

"Thank you. Prosecution and final comments?"

"If it please the court," the prosecution rose as Allison took her seat, "No matter which way or argument my colleague makes; the fact of this whole matter is that Jaune Arc is dangerous, and a threat to anyone who could happen to run awry of him depending on the mood that strikes him. While the prosecution does not feel he is intentional in his actions, it still remains a fact that he was SOLELY responsible for multiple deaths of Atlas military personnel. He slaughtered them as if they were no more than insects. That type of raw power needs to be contained."

The prosecution took a short break for continuing.

"I would also like to point out the SCS makes provisions form activation of semblances, which by interpretation means a semblance that can also be deactivated. Mister Arc's semblance has remained active, and as such regardless of his supposed control, the incidents at Site 51 and here at base, can and should be considered as a singular event in conjunction to what transpired at Vale. An event that has continued for weeks, and that continues even now. He was and is dangerous."

"Defence a rebuttal?"

"If it pleases the court," Allison spoke as she stood and the prosecution sat, "Mister Arc is a traumatized young man, not some soulless killing machine. The events of Site 51,and Vale weigh heavily upon him. However as you are aware this tribunal can only deal with the events of Site 51, and by association the incident that happened during is interment here on base. The deaths he caused were done so indirectly, and without his control. He has gained control, and instead of trying to punish him for his actions; the focus of this court should be on the actions of Atlas in regards to creating the situations that enabled the horrific and needless events that happened."

Allison stopped to take a sip of water before continuing.

"As to my colleagues interpretation of the SCS. The provision he is referring is worded for the activation of a semblance, but contrary to prosecution's interpretation it does not differentiate between those semblances that remain active, and those that can be deactivated. It refers to the initial activation, with further statues dealing with training, control and the mindset during the initial event. The initial event took place in Vale, which is not being disputed. What is being disputed is the events that happened at Site 51, and here at base. Mister Arc, was denied his absolute rights as outline in the SCS. Access to resources to allow him to gain control in a monitored setting, under the direct direction of a person or persons capable of helping him gain control."

Allison again paused to take another sip of water.

"This case is ignoring the facts. Vale and Atlas Criminal Code, in addition to Individual Rights, and the provisions of the SCS were ignored; by those in the position, with the duty to make sure they were enforced. At the end of the day by Atlas' actions and inaction Jaune Arc was victimized, in the most horrid of manners. He was treated not as individual, but as an object."

"Thank you." the lead judge spoke up as Allison sat down. "We will take these final arguments, and make a final decision on the motions. Court is in recess for fifteen minutes."

Everyone rose as the trio of Judges got up and left. Allison and Jaune sat down. Marrow moved from

his place at the back of the gallery to stand next to Jaune. Winter stayed where she was. She was here this time just as a possible witness, and not as an assistant to Marrow.

"Those were mouthfuls." Marrow commented.

"That's an attorney's job. To talk, and that's what I did."

"So what do you think?" Jaune asked of Allison.

"I think we have a good chance. A very good chance."

"Why?"

"The judges asked for additional arguments. They wouldn't do that unless they were almost at a decision, and seeing as they started with me, and ended with me; feels like they are seeing our side of the argument over that of Atlas."

"And if not?"

"If not, we still have the change of venue, which they can't ignore. The UCMJ does not apply to you, and I refuse to allow your acceptance of it earlier to cost you. In reality my motion has basically overruled your previous acceptance; and as your representative that means you refuse to be tried under a code of conduct that does not apply to you."

"If it moves to a civilian court?"

"I'll try to get the charges dismissed again, and if not I'll prove you innocent. Believe me Jaune, I'm in this for the long haul, and I'm going to keep at it regardless of what happens. You deserve you freedom, and I'll make sure you get it."

"I should get back to the gallery. Looks like they're about to start again. Trust in her Jaune. She seems to know what she's doing."

"I do know what I'm doing."

Marrow left and a couple minutes later everyone once again rose as the judges entered. Once everyone was seated, court was called to order.

"Jaune Arc please rise."

Jaune and Allison stood up as they had been instructed.

"We have come to a decision in regards to the two motions that require our attention. Motion that was just a notification of intent is beyond our scope of responsibilities to rule on. In fact we have no right to speak on it. With that said, we will make our determinations now public. In regards to the motion to dismiss all charges. We've had a split in regards to it, and as such I will let my colleagues speak on their own prior to giving the final ruling."

"My decision is," spoke the judge to the lead's left, "to grant the motion for dismissal of all charges. All the for and against arguments of the motion are valid, but the underlying factor is in my opinion that those in charge showed complete ignorance to Mister Arc's situation in regards to the SCS. The SCS is the only determining fact in this case, and by blatantly ignoring its accords has put the institution of the Atlas Military and it's principals in ill repute. So to iterate I hereby grant the motion fro dismissal."

"My decision is," spoke the judge to the lead's right, "to hereby also grant the motion for dismissal of all charges levied against Mister Arc. While I agree with my colleague's summation, I also wish to underline the fact of Mister Arc's violation of Individual rights. By perpetrating such actions those in places of command have caused our enlisted members to besmirch Atlas' good name, along with the reputation of the institution they are a part of. Motion to dismiss all charges granted."

My decisions is," the lead judge spoke up as his companion finished, "To deny the motion for dismissal of all charges. While I recognize the breeches of the SCS, Civil Law in addition to Mister Arc's individual rights; I feel that two wrongs do not make a right. Atlas was in the wrong, but also Mister Arc. Mister Arc should be held accountable for his actions; but in that regard I feel Atlas should also fall under public scrutiny. The only way that I can see that being accomplished would be by way of public trial."

The lead judge took a minute to regard the collected individuals in the gallery.

"While I may disagree with my colleague's decisions, and tribunals make every effort to come to unanimous decisions, it can not be ignored that the bulk of this tribunal sees merit in the defence's motion; by the rule of law we hold to as per the UCMJ. This court is meant to uphold the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which as the defence has pointed out if the governing principals of this court. The defence's motion for dismissal of all charges levied against one Mister Jaune Arc is hereby GRANTED."

"Order in the court!" the leader judge announced as the gallery crowd began to react a very few in a positive manner, while the majority did so in a negative way to the ruling. "Order in the court!"

Once order was restored the lead judge continued.

"Before we adjourn, we will rule on the second defence motion as a matter for the record. In regards to the motion to change venue. That motion was granted. Mister Arc even though he consented at an earlier preliminary hearing, is by rights not subject to the UCMJ regardless of where his activities happened. However as the charges have been dismissed, this ruling again is just for the record."

Again the crowd in the gallery began to react. Not taking any chances Marrow moved through the rising observers and took a position behind Jaune and Allison facing the crowd, ready to use his semblance to protect the pair.

"Order in the court! Order in the court!" snapped the lead judge. "Bailiffs please step in."

The two bailiffs moved forward and began to motion for the spectators to all take seats, Those that were continued to resist directions were pointed out to the MP's stationed at the doors and were physically removed. It took about three minutes for order to be restored.

"I will remind those still in the gallery, you are all members of the institution of Atlas military, and should be acting accordingly."

The gallery grew even quieter at the admonishment by the lead judge. After another minute of complete silence the lead judge spoke again.

"It is also ruled that all matters in regards to the activities of this tribunal will be made part of the public record. The Atlas military must hold itself to a higher standard than it has demonstrated. With that said bailiffs and security will remain in the court to ensure the safety of Mister Arc as the gallery exits. Court Adjourned."

Everyone rose as bid, allowing the judges to leave, before under the direction of the Military Police and bailiffs the gallery of spectators were funnelled out. It took a couple minutes before Allison, Jaune and Marrow found themselves alone.

"It worked." Marrow stated as he moved to take a seat on the side of the table near Jaune.

"It did, and now after your interview we'll need to prepare for Vale. That will happen in a very public civilian court. I'll need you to be as strong as you were here. Okay Jaune?"

"I think I can handle that." Jaune replied. "When will Vale happen?"

"Sooner rather than later. Maybe a few days. First you have a interview to handle, and then we'll have a hearing in a civilian court about the extradition. Do you want me to argue against it?"

"No I think I should go back to Vale. It's where this all started."

"You realize I'll be going after Beacon during that trial, like I did Atlas here."

"I do."

"It was your school. You comfortable with that?"

"They let this whole Atlas thing happen."

"They did."

"They should have protected me, right?"

"Yes, they should have."

"Then why should I do something for them, that they wouldn't do for me?"

"You shouldn't."

"Then I wont."

/==/

So the Atlas arc is ending.

Hope I did justice to the first "trial". Point out any inaccuracies if you find them, or feel there is some.

There is probably a bunch of types. I was working on this as I'm doing a data entry contract. Seeing as I want to give some closure for all of you that have been following and offering advice I just finished this up.

I wasn't sure I was going argue the dismissal, I knew I was going to do the change of venue, but I think it worked out for the best this way.

Couple more things to try and line up and it's on to Vale.

As always hope you enjoyed. Comments, suggestions and critiques are always welcome. Thank you.
