"Looks like we won't be having any requests today." Hachiman stands up, observing that there's only ten minutes left before the club ends. "So I'm going to take my leave now." Hachiman gave Yui a small box. "Happy Birthday, Yuigahama-san."

"Thank you Hikki! I thought you wouldn't give me anything!" Yui replied. She opened the box, and saw a choker inside. "Whoa, thanks for this choker Hikki!" Yui went and placed the "choker" to her neck. Hachiman tried his best not to facepalm, but he couldn't resist the body's need to shield away from cringe. "Yuigahama-san, that's not a choker." Yukino pointed out.

"Eh? What is it then?"

"That's a dog collar. I figured that Sable's collar is worn out, so I bought him a collar." Hachiman explained. Yui hurriedly removed the said collar and placed it back in its box. "Why didn't you say so, Hikki? Jerk." Hachiman quickly responded to the pinkette. "How am I the jerk? You clearly jumped to conclusions yourself." The fish eyed teen spoke one last time. "Have a good day, Yuigahama-san, Yukinoshita-san." He lightly bowed before leaving the room. Yui sent a look to Yukino.

"There it is again! Hikki can't even stay to celebrate!" Yui spoke with annoyance in her voice. "Yukinon! Let's follow him!" This time, the ravenette had no choice but to comply, as she was getting dragged towards the exit by Yui.

Trailing Hachiman was hard. Not because he is a paranoid that will check if someone is tailing him, but because he can blend with the crowd so well. The female members of the service club almost lost the fish eyed teen, two times. When they saw Hachiman enter a café, Yui quickly jumped to conclusions. "See! Hikki is on a date!" Yukino however, had another conclusion. "I don't think Hikigaya-kun is meeting someone here Yuigahama-san. This place is not only a café, it also doubles as a library and a bookstore." The ravenette spoke. "For all we know, Hikigaya-kun might be here to read those wretched light novels he enjoys so much."

Meanwhile on the back of the two, there was a person trailing them. 'Why is Yukino-chan following Hikigaya-kun? She also brought a friend to accompany her!' Thought the woman. Once the two girls entered the café, she discreetly entered the said premises.

When Hachiman entered the café, he quickly spotted the Yukinoshita matriarch. She was in the same spot as she always has been. His footsteps alerted the reading woman.

Dead eyes met red, puffy eyes.

'I'm sure there's something wrong for Fuyume-san to be like this.' Hachiman thought. "What's wrong, Fuyume-san?" The said woman motioned him to sit beside her, much to his surprise. Quickly complying to her request, the dead eyed teen sat down beside the woman. "Good afternoon, Fuyume-san."

"Good afternoon, Hikigaya-kun." The woman meekly replied. "How's your day?" Fuyume asked about his day.

On the other table, beside the Yukinoshita matriarch, Yui and Yukino were whispering to each other. "You see Yukinon? I told you that Hikki's meeting someone here!' The pinkette whispered to the ravenette. The said ravenette, still couldn't fathom the idea that their fish eyed teen was meeting someone. The two continued to observed their club mate.

"I see…" Fuyume murmured. Hachiman was weirded by what's happening. 'This isn't the Fuyume-san that I know. I don't know her that much, but she seems to be acting differently.' The fish eyed teen thought. "Fuyume-san, please answer me." He observed that the woman was dazed and was not even listening to him. "Is there something wrong, Fuyume-san?"

Once again, their eyes met.

Then, Yukinoshita Fuyume's eyes started to water. She latched onto Hachiman, crying on his chest while struggling to form a coherent sentence. "It's my husband *sniff*" Fuyume spoke out. "I found out that he was cheating on me."

"Are you sure? Where did you find such an information?" Hachiman's logical side took over, questioning the woman if the information was true or not. "It was from a trusted source." He heard her reply. "I loved him dearly. I showered him with all the love and support I could muster when he ran for his seat." Frustration was present on her voice, Hachiman observed. "Then all I would get for my support is be cheated on?" Her voice was getting louder and louder, worrying the fish eyed teen.

"Where did I go wrong?!" Shouted the Yukinoshita matriarch. Her voice was heard by all the patrons inside.

Yukino who was intently observing the fish eyed teen, quickly ran over when she heard the woman shout. "Hikigaya-kun! Unhand her right this instant!" The ravenette didn't care if the whole café was looking at her. It was then, that the eyes of Yukino and the crying woman seeking shelter on Hachiman's chest met.

Angry blues met the puffy ones.

"Mother?" Yukino questions. "What is the meaning of this?! Are you cheating on father with that thing?" Yukino points her finger to Hachiman. Hearing the accusation, Yukinoshita Fuyume's anger surged again. "Are you accusing your mother of cheating?" Fuyume questioned. Fuyume pulled up her smartphone and showed her daughter the wretched picture of his husband. "When it's clear that your father has been the one doing that?" Yukino, seeing the photo felt like she was slapped.

"Yukino-chan? Kaa-chan? Why are you guys shouting in a library?" The elder daughter of Fuyume, Yukinoshita Haruno, decided to make her presence known. Fuyume asked her a question. "Haruno? What are you doing here?" Haruno smiled sheepishly and answered her. "Well, I saw Yukino-chan tailing Hikigaya-kun, so I followed her and this is where we are now."

Hachiman, who heard Haruno's explanation, narrowed his eyes when he looked at Yukino. "Why the hell are tailing me?" The intrigued male questioned the youngest Yukinoshita. "I-it was Yuigahama-san's idea." When Yukino glanced at their table, Yui was already gone. 'Yuigahama-san, why did you leave me here?!' Thought Yukino.

"Really? I don't see Yuigahama-san at all." Hachiman pointed out. "Now, who's the stalker between the two of us?" Yukino turned red in embarrassment. "Mother, are you sure this is real?" Haruno, who snatched the phone from Yukino when she was questioned by Hachiman, asked.

Their mother, who was still holding onto Hachiman, replied. "Sadly, yes."

"This can't be real." The youngest exclaimed. "I know father is a good person. He will never cheat on you!" She paused to sit down. "This is probably sent by a rival of father!"

"It was sent by one of your father's staff. He saw what was happening and quickly snapped a photo." Fuyume explained. "I never thought that what I was reading would happen to me." The woman once again cried silently on Hachiman's chest.

Haruno, sat down beside her mother and rubbed her back. "It's okay Mother." Haruno spoke as she drew circles on her mother's back. "We'll find a way to resolve this." Hachiman, asked the crying woman that was embracing him. "What are you going to do now, Fuyume-san?"

"I don't know Hachiman-kun…" When Haruno heard her mother call out to him, she looked at Hachiman and quipped. "Heh, so you let my mother call you that huh?" Hachiman gave her a light glare before speaking. "Please don't start, Haruno-san." The fish eyed teen gave a warning. "I'm not in the mood to argue with you."

"Yukino-san." Hachiman called out to Yukino, who was blushing because he was calling her by her first name. "You live on an apartment right?" Yukino questions the male. "Yes, what of it?" The gaze of the youngest Yukinoshita was that of a scrutiny. "What if your mother lives with you for a bit?" Yukino's gaze turned into a questioning look.

"I figured that your mother would be reminded of your father if she continued to stay in your house. So by giving her a new environment, maybe it will help her, even if it's not much." Hachiman explained. Haruno chimed in to give her two cents: "I agree with Hachiman-kun here!" said teen rolled his eyes. "It would be better for mother to live in your apartment, Yukino-chan!" The older sister notices the stare she's getting, courtesy of an irate Hachiman. "What? You let my mom call you Hachiman, then you ban me from calling you the same?" The fish eyed teen nodded, making Haruno pout like a child. "Mou, it's so unfair!"

"Fuyume-san, are you okay?" Hachiman turned his attention to Fuyume, who fell asleep, now cutely snoring. "Great, your mother's asleep."

Hachiman woke up with a headache. Not only he slept late, but also because the ringing of his phone woke him up violently. "Hello." He grumbled. The voice that greeted him, was even angrier than him. "Thank heavens you finally answered!" The voice said. "I have been calling you for five minutes now! Now that you're awake, you have five minutes to pack your stuff and get your ass down here!"

"Wait, who am I even talking to?" Asked the groggy teen. "This is Hiratsuka Shizuka, you idiot!"

"Is this about that summer camp that you mentioned before?" He asked. "Yes it is, so bring your ass down here so we could go!" answered his teacher. "At least give me ten minutes." Bargained Hachiman.

"Five minutes is all I can give you. If you take more than five minutes, I'll barge in to drag you out." Threatened Hiratsuka. "Ten minutes or I won't come with you." Hachiman ignored the threat. This irritated the teacher. "I'm only giving you five. Any more than that, and I'll really drag your ass out here."

Hachiman, who is suffering a headache, is not going to have it. "Go on woman, once you barge in here, I'll use necessary force to drive you out." He replied. "I won't care if you're a woman, or that you're someone I respect. Don't threaten me in my home." He dropped the call and went to packing.

Hachiman spent exactly ten minutes to get ready, with half of it spent on taking a bath and cleaning up. 'I probably scared her for her not to do what she was saying earlier.' He thought. When he exited his house, he saw his teacher looking annoyed at him. "Good morning, Hiratsuka-sensei." Greeted the teen.

"Good morning my ass!" Hiratsuka angrily replied. "If you took more than ten minutes, I would've dragged your ass out here." She added. 'So now she extended it.' Hachiman thought. "And I told you, if you tried that, you're going to get hurt. Don't threaten a person in their own home." He replied. "When a man is backed to a wall, he will claw his way forward." He finished. Observing the van behind his teacher, he asked a question. "Where are the others?"

"We're meeting them on the station." Hiratsuka answered. "I just personally fetched you, god knows if you'll really come if I ask."

"And I told you, I would've come if you asked nicely." Hachiman fired back. "Next time, try to be a decent person rather than acting like a possessive girlfriend or something." When he looked at his teacher, she was glaring at him with a murderous aura. "Look Hiratsuka-sensei." Hachiman spoke once again. "I got a searing headache, and I'm in no mood to entertain your pettiness. The sooner we go, the better." He opened the front passenger door to sit inside.

Sighing angrily, Hiratsuka entered and sat on the driver's seat. The drive towards the station was silent, with Hachiman looking at cat videos and Shizuka stealing glances at him. When they arrived at the station, Hachiman saw the "gang" that were going to with him.

'Yukinoshita-san, Yuigahama-san, Yumi, Saki, Ebina-san, Totsuka, Hayama, Tobe, and Komachi? That's why she wasn't at home earlier.' Hachiman thought. Stopping in front of the group, Hiratsuka motioned Hachiman to come out.

Complying to his teacher, he went out and was greeted by the people outside. "As expected of a slug like you Hikigaya-kun. Your actions are slow that you wasted precious hours of ours."

"Hikki! What took you so long?"

"Hikio! You took so long!"

"Hachiman? Why are you late?"

"My ship is complete! Hello, Hikitani-kun!"

"Hachiman! You came!"

"Good Morning, Hikitani-kun."

"Heyo, Hikitani-bro!"

"Took you long enough Onii-chan!"

"Get off my case women, especially you, Yukinoshita." Hachiman replied, rubbing his temples due to his headache that's getting worse and worse. "I have a migraine right now and you guys scrutinizing me won't help." The fish eyed teen then warns them. "If you guys don't have anything important to say, then don't bother speaking." The teen went back inside the car.

Hiratsuka clapped her hands to catch their attention. "Now that I'm here, go ahead and load your bags on the back." The students did what they're told, and loaded the bags on the back of the van. Once the bags have been packed, they all went inside and drove to Chiba Mura Park. The drive was mostly silent, with Yui talking to Yumiko about shopping and girl stuff. When they arrived, they were introduced to the kids as their guides for the camp.

"If you guys ever need anything, just tell us okay?" Hayama spoke out to the kids. "Let's make some fun memories at the summer camp!" He finished. The camp director started the camp with orienteering, and Hachiman and the gang were tasked to guide the kids. Hachiman and the gang were touring the area, making sure that no group of kids would be lost.

"Hey, what's happening there?" Ebina noticed. She saw a group that was circling up and thought that they're looking at something. "I'll go and check it out." Hayama walks to the group of children. Hachiman and Yukino, noticed a little girl that is a bit far from the others. "Oh, it's a rat snake." The blond grabbed the neck of the reptile then threw it away. "They are not venomous, so you guys won't have to worry."

"But still, we won't touch something like that!" The group of girls exclaimed. One of them, spoke out to the blond. "Onii-chan, can you help us find the next check point?"

Hayama smiled at them and replied to the girl. "Sure! But let's make this our little secret. Do you guys agree?" The children all exclaimed in agreement.

"So, what will you guys do about it?" Hiratsuka questioned the group. Their early dinner just ended, and they were discussing about the little girl that's being ostracized. Taking a puff from her cigarette, she observed the teenagers.

"I want to my best to change the situation." Hayama started speaking. "Maybe that way, we can help." A skeptical Yukino, quickly looked the blond with skepticism and summoned a reply. "Whatever you can do? I see." She paused before speaking again. "You can't do it. Not before, and especially not now."

"Oi." Hachiman then follows up, massaging his still aching head. "Don't bring up your past or whatever happened between you two." This prompted the ravenette to glare at the fish eyed teen. "This is going to be a request for the Service Club, isn't it?" Asked the teen.

Hiratsuka, who is nearly finished with her cigarette, answered him. "Since supervising the kids is your summer camp, then I guess this can be a request." She places the used cigarette on her portable ashtray, then stands up. "I'm going to hit the sack. You guys have until tomorrow to do something about her situation." The teacher left, leaving them in silence.

"The problem is, how would we get Rumi to ask for help." Yukino voiced out.

"I don't think that's going to happen Yukinon." Yui then starts to explain. "Rumi-chan said that she also did the same thing. This means that she won't ask for help, because it would be unfair for the other girls."

Once again, the silence returned.

"But, like, she's a cute girl, why can't she just hang out with, other cute girls like her?" Yumiko opens up. "She could try talking to them, then they'll be friends. It's that easy right?" The blonde finished. The orange haired Tobe agreed to her statement.

'Her being alone is not the problem.' Hachiman mused. 'The problem here is that she's being forced to be alone by the ill will of others.' The teen then recalls the conversation with the said child. 'Though I can't say that Rumi herself is innocent. She also partook in shunning other girls. Maybe they are harsher than normal because they're jealous of something?'

"I think it's fine." Ebina started to speak. "She might be alone today, but if she focuses on her hobbies, she might make some friends!" The grey haired girl exclaimed. "She'll meet nice people when she attends cons or something!" By this time, the girl with glasses is getting overly excited. "She can start with BL! There's no girl in the world that'll say no to homo!"

"Yumiko, how about accompanying Ebina to grab a drink?" Hayama spoke out. "It looks like she need to drink something to calm her down." Yumiko, agreed to Hayama's proposition and proceeded to drag the howling woman. "Wait! I'm still not done with spreading the BL verses!"

Most of them sighed.

"We need to find a way to make them friends again." Hayama suggested. That suggestion however, was quickly shut down by a glaring Yukino. "You think that will solve everything?" The tension made the cold outdoors even colder. "Just admit it Hayama-kun, you can't do anything about it."

"I've had enough of you, Yukinoshita." Yumiko angrily marched towards the ravenette. "we're thinking of ways to make them go along, but you are just shutting us down, all while looking at us like we're inferior!"

"Then you must be inferior for you to feel that way." Yukino replied, with venom in her voice. "Rumi needs help, but not in the way you guys think." She explains. "Your idea is only going to temporarily solved her problem. She'll be shunned once again after the camp ends."

"But it's worth a shot!" Shouted the fiery blonde. "If you remain like that, like a person on her high horse, then you're just going to suffer all your life, Yukinoshita." Yumiko rebuts. Hachiman shoots Hayama a look, wanting to observe what the blond was going to do.

The said blond is just silent, watching the situation unfold.

"Are you insinuating that I am suffering? Don't bring up things that you don't know about." Yukino icily uttered.

"Then don't be judgmental to others! You don't want to be judged yet you are judging people quickly. You're a hypocrite." The fiery blonde fired back. The ravenette, was offended when she was called a hypocrite. "What did you call me, Miura-san?" questioned Yukino

"You're a hypocrite!" The two were sizing up each other, glaring towards each other. 'If nothing is done to intervene, then these two would probably throw hands. Yukinoshita might look like she won't do something like that, but I think she will retaliate if Yumi tries something.' Thought Hachiman. Deciding to intervene, he stood up to speak.

"Both of you, shut up." Hachiman used the deepest voice he could muster. 'Oh no! Onii-chan used his deep voice!' Komachi panicked. His brother only uses that voice when she's into real trouble. Hearing something unexpected, everyone turned towards the fish eyed teen. "Tell me, what is your argument about?" He questioned. Yukino and Yumiko, who were still surprised, weren't able to answer. "See, you can't even remember why you're fighting." Hachiman then stretches his arms. "The only thing you two accomplished is to waste oxygen. Your arguments are pointless, and you're only fighting because of your wounded prides." He finished as he stopped stretching. "You only made my migraine worsen. I'm going to sleep, make sure you two are okay before this night ends."

"And if we aren't?" Challenged Yukino.

"If you and her…" He points to the blonde, who is glaring at the ravenette. "are still on bad terms tomorrow, then I'll do something you two won't like." Hachiman then walked out, leaving them in total silence.

The silence continued, emotionally choking the people present. One by one, they all made excuses to leave the place. The girls went to their confines while the boys also did the same.

When the night came, Hachiman woke up from his nap. 'Thank heavens my migraine finally stopped.' He stepped outside the room to walk around. When he reached a shallow river, he saw the kid they were talking about, Tsurumi Rumi. She was playing with the water.

A ring caught Hachiman's attention. Seeing that it was his phone that was ringing, he looked at the Caller ID before answering. 'Fuyume-san?' "Good evening Fuyume-san."

"Hachiman!" The woman on the other line cried out. "Are you safe?! Have you eaten yet?! Where are you staying?" Questioned Fuyume. Hachiman sweatdropped at her questions.

"I'm safe Fuyume-san." The raven haired teen answered. "We've already eaten dinner, and we're staying somewhere in Chiba Mura Park." He continued to answer the questions. "How about you Fuyume-san? Have you eaten yet? How was your day?" This time he asked the woman.

"Oh, I've eaten already! Haruno and I had sukiyaki for dinner." The woman answered with enthusiasm. "And about my day…" She sighed. "It's been so-so. The company is faring better, and we currently have no issues."

"That sounds great." He answers. "So, why did you call, Fuyume-san?"

"Mou, don't you want to talk to me, Hachiman?" The woman on the other end playfully asked. "I was just checking on you and my daughter. Who knows, something must've happened."

"Something did happen." Hachiman replied. "Your daughter almost got into a fight. Thankfully, I stopped them before they could throw hands."

"Thank you for stopping them Hachiman." Yukino's mother thanked him. "To be honest, I don't know how my daughter is when she's angry. When she's at home she's usually annoyed but never angry." Fuyume points out. "But still, thank you for taking care of my daughter Hachiman. Please continue to take care of her."

"Sure."

"And me."

"And you." Hachiman affirms her. 'Why did I feel like I set up a flag?' He thought. Seeing that Fuyume already dropped the call, he sighed in defeat. 'That woman is as scheming as her own daughter.' He pondered. 'She calls whenever she wants, and always clings to me whenever given a chance. She wants me on her sights as much as possible, and gets pouty whenever her requests get denied. If she's my age I'll probably call her an overly possessive girlfriend, but thank the romcom gods that she's not. I don't know what'll happen if she's my age.' The teen concludes.

"Hikigaya-san?" Called out a female voice. Hachiman noticed that it was Rumi that was calling out to him. "What are you doing? Are you here for me?"

"Well, I had to answer a call." Hachiman answered. "And yes, I'm here for you. The camp director noticed that you are missing, and sent me to get you." He felt bad for lying, but he figured that this will have a positive effect on the girl.

It did. The young girl looked relieved and smiled slightly. "Thank you for finding me, Hikigaya-nii-san."

"That's too formal." The teen then ruffles her hair. "It's much better if you call me Hachi-nii or something. But don't let my little sister hear you." He puts his finger on his mouth, signifying to keep it a secret. "She gets jealous if other kids call me their brother."

"Then I'll be careful not to call you that in front of your little sister, Hachi-nii." Replied Rumi. She sat down beside the fish eyed teen, and leaned on his right shoulder. "Hachi-nii… What's your definition of a friend?" Questioned the girl.

Hachiman softly brushed her hair with his hand. "A friend is someone who will never bring you harm. Someone who will be sharing you his or her burdens, and you'll be able to do the same. You better treasure them for they're the closest thing you'll have after family."

Rumi looked up to the full moon. "Someone that'll share my burdens huh? I wonder where can I find someone like that." The little girl murmured. The two continued to stare on the full moon.
