"Good morning, Hachiman." Saki, who is currently doing some light exercises, greeted. She stretched her left limb and panted after doing it. "Didn't take you to be a morning person." The silverette said in between huffs.

"Good morning, Saki." Hachiman greeted back. "I used to hate mornings, but I learned that I can use this time to work out." Said the teen as he started doing pushups. Silence enveloped the area, as the first rays of the sun shined to their skin. After completing his reps for the pushups, the dead eyed teen sat down. Saki also sat down once she finished her stretches.

The silver haired girl then started to speak. "You know, I've quit working on the Grand Order." Hachiman, who was surprised at her revelation, asked the girl why. Saki grabbed her bottle of water before speaking again. "W-well, I've thought about what you said that time." She stopped to drink some water and refresh her dried throat. "That and because I almost got hit by a flying bottle."

"Told ya it would be dangerous." Hachiman replied. "But I thought you needed the money? What are going to do about it?"

"I…" Saki trailed off, mumbling her next words which made the fish eyed teen look at her weirdly. Seeing the weird look, the silverette coughed to compose herself. "I decided to take up your offer. Please help me get a scholarship, Hachiman!" She bowed, which made Hachiman much more uncomfortable.

Quickly touching her shoulders and raising her, Hachiman spoke up. "You don't need to do that, we're friends right?" The silverette looked a bit sad at his remark. "What time do you want to start?"

"Really?!" Saki, becoming excited after hearing his question, exclaimed. "Then can we start next Saturday?"

"Sure, I don't have anything I'll need to do on the afternoon, so I guess we could start next Saturday." Replied the teen with the dead eyes. The silverette's face bounced the sun's rays for she is practically beaming in joy.

"Thank you so much, Hachiman!"

"No problem." He then once again stood up. "It's time for me to do my burpees. Are you going to continue exercising, Saki?" He questioned the silverette.

"N-no!" The said silverette answered. "I only do light exercises."

"Then could you please count how many reps I've done?"

"Sure!"

Hachiman once again started to exercise, giving the silverette who was sitting in front of him a treat. Sweat trickled down his biceps, his chest, and his legs. Saki, getting a front row seat, is now blushing hard. 'Damn Saki, get yourself together!' Thought the girl, even going as far as using her hands to cover her eyes. However, the purpose that action was defeated for she left a wedge in her eyes large enough to peek on the teen working out. 'I must admit, Hachiman's body is very delectable…' The girl then notices her last words and then goes into denial once again. 'What am I saying?! I sound thirsty for Hachiman…' Thought Saki as she covered her face with her hands, repeatedly telling herself to calm the hell down.

"Saki, have you kept track of my reps?" Asked the now sweatier Hachiman. Seeing that the silverette was not paying attention to him, he sighed and just sat down to rest once again.

"Oh, working out?" The voice of Shizuka Hiratsuka got the dead eyed teen's attention. The teacher, who just woke up, stretched her arms and yawned. "I honestly didn't think that you're a morning person, Hikigaya."

"Well I am a morning person. I only oversleep if I'm too tired or if I have to do something that'll make me sleep past midnight." He replied. "I expected you to be a morning person. But clearly, it wasn't the case." The teacher got a tick mark at his remark.

"What do you mean by that?!" Shizuka threateningly questions. "I am a teacher! Of course I have to be a morning person! I only oversleep because it's the summer vacation!"

"Wow, you got very defensive there, Hiratsuka-sensei." This time, it was Saki who voiced out. The said teacher just ignored it to openly stare at Hachiman, who once again started to exercise. The two ogled the teen for a few more minutes, before Shizuka ran to drink water, presumably to cool down herself.

"Hikki! Good morning!" Another girl arrived to where Hachiman and Saki was. Yui, was walking towards the dead eyed teen and stopped in front of him. "Oh, you're exercising?! I feel like I should do some myself." The pinkette said. Quickly walking to where Saki was seating, she bugged the silverette. "Saki-chan! Please exercise with me!"

"I just exercised myself earlier, Yuigahama-san. I'm still tired." Came the answer of Saki. Yui pouted when she heard it.

"Mou, no need to be formal with me, Saki-chan! Just call me Yui!" Yui held the hands of the silverette, who was a bit uncomfortable with such closeness. "Then I'll go ahead and jog around the area. See you later Saki-chan!" The pinkette started to jog and left the two once again.

"Ara, Hikigaya-kun, you were not lying when you said you work out."

"Hikio won't lie about something like that, Yukinoshita." The unlikely pair of Yukino and Yumiko walked towards the two.

"Good morning to you two." Hachiman said while doing his squats. The two girls also blushed at Hachiman's state.

"Good Morning, Hikio!" Came the reply of the blonde.

"So…" Hachiman stopped squatting and sat down, ladies in front of him becoming disappointed. "Have you two made up?" Questioned the teen. The blonde and the ravenette looked away from him in denial. "I'll take that as a no then."

And like yesterday, Yukino challenges the young man. "So? What are you going to do about it?" She questioned. The now resting Hachiman walked closer to the ravenette, which made the said girl flustered.

"You'll see later. I suggest that you and her…" The fish eyed teen points out to the blonde. "Watch out for it and stay together."

"Hikio, how about we grab something to eat? I'm starving now!" Yumiko tried to divert the topic, which somehow worked. Hachiman stopped pressing about them and turned to the blonde.

"Sure." Stretching his lower body for the last time, he spoke once again. "What would you like to eat, Yumi?" The blonde smiled at him as she grabbed his arm and dragged him to grab breakfast.

"Let's see what they have for us!"

"You know guys, sometimes I think that I am a phoenix!" An orange haired girl exclaimed to her peers, who laughed at her remark.

"Really Ki-chan?" Questioned a girl. "Then can you fly?" Another egged her on. The orange haired girl frowned as the flock of kids laughed at her once again. Quickly removing the frown in her face, she smiled once more as she interacted with her peers.

"Really! I feel reborn every single day!" Her peers once again laughed.

"Ne Yoko-chan, how about we grab something to eat?" Asked a girl and they went ahead, dragging the crowd with her and leaving the orange haired girl alone once more.

"Alone once again." Muttered the girl, sadness present in her voice. She knelt down to pick up a nice looking rock.

"Hey." A voice pulled the girl from her thoughts. "Why are you alone?" Looking at the person who asked the question, the little girl saw a pink haired woman that is looking at her with concern.

"They left to grab food." Replied the tangerinette. "Who are you, pretty Onee-chan?"

"Eh?" The pinkette became flustered. "I-I'm Yuigahama Yui! Nice to meet you!" Bowed Yui, who is still blushing from the unexpected compliment.

"My name is Takanashi Kiara! Nice to meet you, Yui-nee-san!" Exclaimed the orange haired girl.

"Well Kiara-chan, how about we grab something to eat?" Yui offered, which Kiara accepted. As they walked, the pinkette questioned the young girl's hair color. "Ne, Kiara-chan, why is your hair orange?"

"Because I love phoenixes!" Replied the girl. "The books I've read describes them as having majestic blazing feathers, and orange is the nearest color to that. So I asked my Mom to help me dye my hair!" Exclaimed the young girl. "What about you, Yui-nee-san? Why is your hair pink?"

"Mama said that pink would look great on me, so I followed her advice and dyed it!" Answered the pinkette. This elicited a laugh from the younger girl.

"Ne Yui-nee." Called Kiara. "Is it easy to make friends in high school? It's really hard to make friends when they always mock me."

"How do I say this…" Yui trailed off. "Personally, I think it is much easier to make friends when you are older." She then claps her hands, remembering the words spoken by her clubmate. "Ah! I remember now. Hikki says that kids are cruel and very much mean to other kids."

"Who's Hikki?"

"Hikki's my clubmate, his eyes look so dead that you totes' be scared when you see it for the first time!" Answered the pinkette. "But even if he looks like that, he is still a nice person!"

"Do you like this Hikki person, Yui-nee?" This prompted the older girl to blush profusedly. Waving her hands in front of her as a form of defense, she refuted the question.

"No! It's not like that!" Yui answered. "Besides, there are many girls that prolly like him." She crosses her arms as she spoke once more. "Honestly, he's not that good looking, but he attracts girls around him."

"Sounds like you really like this Hikki, Yui-nee." Sighing in defeat, the pinkette relented.

"Fine." Said Yui, still blushing. "I really like Hikki, and I hate when other girls cling to him."

"I hope you two get together, Yui-nee!"

"Thanks Kiara-chan!"

"Here's the schedule for today." Shizuka said as she dropped the pamphlet on the table. The kids are free until the night, where they'll have a test of courage before the bonfire."

"Then we're tasked with building the bonfire then?" Asked Hayato, who just finished his breakfast. Their teacher nodded.

"Use your free time after setting the bonfire up to come up with something for the test of courage." Shizuka walked towards the exit of the dining hall. "I'm gonna go and explore the wilderness."

After their breakfast, the guys gathered logs and chopped them, stacking them up in a square pattern to light up later. The entire process of gathering, chopping, and stacking took the guys an hour to accomplish.

Once done, Hachiman found himself walking the woods. 'The summer heat is really something!' He thought. 'I'm just walking slowly and I'm sweating like crazy.' Stumbling upon a stream, he sat down the bank to soak his tired legs.

"Onii-chan!" Turning his head, Hachiman noticed his little sister wearing a yellow two piece. 'Why is she wearing a swimsuit?' Thought the fish eyed teen. Behind his little sister was Yui, who was wearing a blue one that emphasized her assets. 'As a man, I can't help but be attracted to her bust. I guess this is what they call Newton's law of gravitits?' Mused Hachiman.

"Why are you two in swimsuits?" He questioned.

"When Hiratsuka-san came back, she said that we could soak ourselves here!" Komachi answered. "But enough about the whys!" The bubbly little sister then started to pose. "How's my swimsuit Onii-chan? Don't I look pretty in this?"

"Yes you are." Replied Hachiman with zero interest. Komachi pouted after hearing his monotone compliment. "Very assuring of you, Gomi-chan." She fired back, with the same monotony.

"What can you say about Yui-san's?" The younger girl pushed the pinkette to face the dead eyed teen. 'It's really hard to look away!' Hachiman thought.

"W-well, she looks nice."

"See!" Komachi pats the pinkette's back. "Onii-chan thinks it looks great on you!"

"Ara, is that a pervert I see?" Yukino said as she walked to where Hachiman and Co. is. "Oh, it's just Hikigaya-kun." Yukino was draped with another layer of clothing, hiding her swimsuit beneath it.

"Why are you disappointed?" The male replied. "Besides, I'm not the one who ogles someone else's body." This reply made the ravenette blush.

"W-what are you talking about? I can't hear you with the wind blowing." Yukino said in her defense.

"Oh, Hikigaya. You're here too?" Shizuka spoke as she patted the dead eyed teen's head. Shizuka was wearing a white bikini top with flower patterns, with a large cloth that covers the lower portion of the two piece.

"You're surprisingly appealing on that swimsuit, Hiratsuka-sensei." The unexpected compliment made the woman flustered. Giggling like a schoolgirl, she responded to his comment. "W-well, glad to see that my charms work on you, Hikigaya."

"Hikio!" Shouted Yumiko, wearing a red bikini decorated with black stripes. Passing by the raven haired teen, she smirked and thought about something. 'I win.'

"Oh, Hikitani-kun! Where are the other guys?!" Hina, who was accompanying the blonde, asked Hachiman. She was wearing a one piece that looks like a school swimsuit, with yellow highlights on the side.

"I don't know where are the others, I stumbled my way into this place because it's damn hot right now." Hachiman then turns toward their teacher. "So this is what you meant by exploring the area huh?"

"Weren't you informed about bringing a swimming attire?" Questioned the teacher.

"You woke me up, threatened me to come, then you're going to ask if I was informed about bringing a swimming gear?" Hachiman pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to stop the stress from making him lash out.

"Hiratsuka-sensei?" Yui spoke out. "Why is Hikki saying that he was threatened?"

"D-don't believe what he said!" Shizuka defends. "He wanted to come here!"

"From what Hikigaya-kun said, it sounds like he wasn't." Yukino chimed in, surprising the fish eyed teen as the ravenette was in his favor. Something that doesn't happen that much.

"Oh, Hachiman!" Totsuka called out. The silver haired teen was wearing a gray jacket, which is too long to show if he is wearing anything underneath. He was with the other guys and Saki.

Saki was wearing a black two piece that complemented her figure.

"Saki-chan! You look nice in that swimsuit!" Ebina complimented the silverette. They played in the waters, splashing each other and laughing while doing it.

Leaving them, Hachiman walked towards a tree and sat down, enjoying the shade. 'What a nice view.' Thought the teen as he looked them playing in the water. The teen then closed his eyes, feeling the wind blow.

Right then, a young girl with black hair sat down the same tree Hachiman was resting. The pink haired clubmate of Hachiman noticed the girl and went ahead to meet her. "Hey Rumi-chan! Would you like to play with us in the water?"

"No." replied the younger girl.

"Why are you alone, Rumi-chan?" Yui asked her another question.

"When I came back to our cabin after breakfast, no one was there." Rumi sighed as she spoke once again. "Hey, Hachi-nii." She called out to the resting male. "Did you have friends back in elementary school?"

"Nope, not really." He replied honestly. "Mostly because of my eye, that I was cast out, but it doesn't matter. I don't have any contact with any of my classmates back then." Hachiman finishes. "You don't really need to try that hard to make some friends with cruel kids."

"Hikki! Don't say that! You're just a unique case!" Yui, the ever positive girl, barked back at the teen.

"I don't have any contact with my classmates back then too." Chimed Yukinoshita.

"But you two are unique cases! You're both loners!"

Hachiman sighs as he goes on to explain. "What's the problem with that? Tell me Yuigahama-san, how many of your friends back in elementary were still talking to you?" Hachiman asks the bubbly pinkette.

"Uh…" The said girl trailed off. "Two?"

"How many were you in class?"

"Three sections with thirty students."

"So if we calculate it. The odds of it happening is at 3-6%" Hachiman pulls a stick and begins to write down. "That's factoring the fact the Yuigahama-san is an attractive person from all angles." Yui, hearing the sentence, blushes at the compliment. 'Hikki thinks I am attractive huh?'

"That wasn't a compliment, Yuigahama-san." Yukino tried to burst her bubble, but the pinkette paid it no mind.

"But not all of us are attractive from all angles, it's close to 90 degrees if we're talking about average looking people, so divide the remaining percent and you'll get 1%. That is the margin of error."

"My mom always asks me about my friends." Rumi started to speak. "It's why she gave me this camera, so I could take pictures of them and show it to her. But I really don't think I'll have one now that I'm the target of the shunning." The young girl frowns. "But then again, I did the same to others, so I think this is warranted."

'That's the look of a person who completely gave up trying.' Noted Hachiman. 'I really couldn't blame her. The cruelty of children is too much to bear, especially for someone as young as her.'

"Yui-nee-san!" A voice calls out to the pinkette, causing the members of the service club to look at the source.

"Ah, Kiara-chan!" Yui motions her to come closer, which the orange haired kid did.

"Hello, Onee-san, Onii-san! I am Kiara!" The orangette introduced herself at the two. "What's your name?"

"I'm Yukinoshita Yukino." The ravenette introduced first.

"I am Hikigaya Hachiman. Nice to meet you, Kiara-chan." Hearing the person's name, a light bulb sparked at the young girl's mind. "Are you that Hikki Yui-nee-san talks about? The one that she li-" Before she could even finish what she was saying, her mouth was sealed off by an embarrassed Yui.

"Kiara-chan! What we talked about earlier was a secret!"

"Yes, I'm that Hikki person." The dead eyed teen admits. The orange haired kid continued to chat with the trio, before noticing the frowning Rumi and the look on her eyes.

'Rumi-chan? Why is she sad?' Kiara thought. 'Those eyes…' Her sight darted back to her classmate's look. 'It's like mine, when I'm being left out.' "Rumi-chan? what's wrong? why are you sad?" The orangette calls out to the sad girl. Rumi's eyes darted to her, which gains a look of shock.

'Kiara-chan? Why would she be concerned for me? I shunned her before.' Sensing a feeling of guilt, the young girl then flees the place.

"Rumi-chan!" Kiara's call was ignored.

"What's your relationship with Rumi-san?" Yukino asks the young girl.

"We used to talk a lot." Kiara answered. "But then, one day, the girls from my class started to ignore me. It only lasted for a day, but Rumi-chan really didn't talk to me after that." The tangerinette looks up to the blue sky. "I guess she still feels guilty about what happened."

Hachiman, coming up with a plan, then speaks to the young girl. "Kiara-chan, I would like to ask for your help."

"What for, Onii-san?"

"I'll talk to you about it before the test of courage starts." The dead eyed teen reassures the orangette. "Helping me would help Rumi with her situation." Remembering the eyes of her classmate, Kiara made her decision.

"Then I'll gladly help, Hikigaya-onii-san!"

"Oi Hikio! What have you done?!" The fiery blonde, Miura Yumiko questioned the fish eyed teen's action.

"Hikigaya-kun, why did you cuff Miura-san and I?" Asked Yukino, who was confused.

"Didn't I tell you that you need to watch out?" Hachiman explained to the two. "I asked if you guys made up and you said no, so I figured that shackling the two of you would make you see the error of your ways and really get along together."

'Scary.' Was the thought of the others who were in the room. Shizuka then speaks up. "So, have you guys thought of a plan about Rumi?"

"Sensei, did you borrow that get up from Orimura-sensei?" Hachiman asks, taking note of her soldier like state of dress. Confused about the question, Shizuka tilts her head. "Orimura-sensei wants her clothes back."

"Har har Hikigaya. It's not like Orimura-sensei's the only one allowed to wear this." Shizuka rebuts.

"Well you're right Sensei. You make it look good just like Orimura-sensei does." The fish eyed teen compliments.

'That was smooth.' This time thought the others.

Blushing profusely, Shizuka leaves the Sobu High students to themselves.

"So, Hikigaya-kun." Yukino, still cuffed with Yumiko, turned to Hachiman. "Have you thought of a plan?"

"So now I am the one in charge?"

"A leader knows when to let others lead." Replied Yukino. Muttering a quick touche, Hachiman the goes ahead and explains what he thought of.

"My plan was, if they are a circle of friends that bullies Rumi, how about dissolving the circle?" He started. "But that was before another variable came in."

"You're talking as if they're an experiment, Hikitani-kun." Pointed out Ebina, who was checking out the costumes provided to them.

"Well that was the plan." The fish eyed teen responds. "But now I think we can kill two birds with one stone."

"What did you mean by that?" This time it was Hayama who asked the teen.

"We break up the bullies, and we also give Rumi a friend." He proposed. Hayama, hearing the concept of his plan, made up his mind.

"Then I agree with what you have in mind."

Hachiman then went and explained the execution of his plan, to which all of them reluctantly agreed.

Once the night came, and their preparations were done, it was time to execute the plan. Walking around the groups of kids, Hachiman spots the orange haired girl from earlier. "Kiara-chan." He called out, making the young girl look at him. "I'm here to tell you about how to help Rumi."

Like a kid getting a new toy, Kiara's eyes brightened. "Then what can I do to help Rumi-chan?"

"It's simple." Hachiman says as he ruffles the young girl's hair. "Stick with her group tonight." The fish eyed teen leaves the girl, but not before saying one last thing. "Lastly, make sure you save her when the time comes." Not sure about what the teen meant, Kiara had a thought. 'Save Rumi-chan? I don't know what Hachi-nii meant by that, but he can count on me! I won't fail him!'

The bonfire raged on, with most of the kids enjoying and dancing around it. There were kids that are not happy though, as they stare at the raging fire saddened, and reminiscing from what happened earlier. Rumi, one of those kids, thought back into what happened earlier.

"Hey, it's the blonde Onee-san and the weird Onii-san! Not at scary at all!" The "leader" of the group pointed out, making others laugh.

"Eh? How can you say so?" Yumiko puts up her intimidating face, lightly unnerving the kids. "If we liked, we could abduct you and make sure you never return alive!" The orange haired Tobe spoke, this time scaring the kids.

"Oh, now you're scared." The blonde smirks. "We could let you pass, but you have to sacrifice one member of your group." Hayama, who was hiding in the bushes, showed up and spoke.

The girls, who were shunning Rumi, instantly pushed her to be the sacrifice.

"You'll let us pass now right?" Asked the "leader."

"I changed my mind." Tobe smiled maniacally. "I want one more of you guys." The kids, looking at each other, then landed their eyes on Kiara, who was at the back much like Rumi was. Hurriedly pushing the orangette forward to offer her.

"How about now!? You'll let us go now right?!" Exclaimed the girls.

"No. I changed my mind again. Give me one more, and this time I'll let you go." Tobe spoke again. 'This is actually fun to do!' Thought Tobe. The girls, who doesn't have anyone that they'll gladly sacrifice, began to turn into one another.

"Ne, Yuka should go right?" The girl in the back spoke up.

"Eh? Why me?" The girl named Yuka questioned.

"Because you angered them! You said that they're not scary at all." Another kid said. They pushed Yuka, who was resisting. In the end, the girl got pushed.

'Hachi-nii said that I should save Rumi-chan. Is this what he meant?' Thought Kiara.

Meanwhile behind the trees, Yukino and Yui was hiding.

"Hikki's plan seem to work so far." Yui points out.

"Hikigaya-kun's plan is so effective that it scares me." Yukino stands up, intent on finishing the plan. "Time for us to show there and say that it was just a prank." Before she could walk, she was stopped by Yui.

"Yukinon, look!"

"Ano!" Kiara raises her hand, getting the attention of Yumiko, Tobe, and Hayama. "Rumi-chan! Flash them!" Shouted Kiara to the girl with camera, who used her camera's flash to blind them temporarily. Kiara then grabs Rumi's hand and says that they should run away. Kiara, Rumi and the others run back to where they started.

"Rumi-chan, are you okay?" The orangette asks Rumi.

"Why?" The ravenette kid asked. "Why did you save us earlier?"

"Because we're friends!" Came the reply of Kiara. "When I saw you earlier, it reminded me of my friend Calli, she used to look so sad."

"Even though I ignored you like them?" Rumi then points out to the girls they were with earlier, who are distanced to one another.

"Yeah! Because deep down, I know you didn't mean to do it." The orangette replied. "Besides, Hachi-nii told me that friends needed to be saved sometimes!" She exclaims. "Hachi-nii is really cool, right?"

"Yeah…"

The two continued to talk, rekindling their once broken friendship once more.

"Well… I guess it's time to say goodbye." Hachiman spoke as the raven haired kid kept him locked in a tight embrace. The said girl crying and sniffing at his shoulders.

"I'll miss you Hachi-nii." Rumi continued to cry on his shoulder. Hachiman rubbed her head and spoke once again. "Well, if you want to, I can give you my number so you'll have someone to talk to when you're bored or whatever." The fish eyed teen offered. "Besides, Kiara-chan will make sure you're never lonely. Isn't that right, Kiara-chan?"

The orange haired kid nodded affirmatively. "Of course Hachi-nii. I won't ever leave Rumi-chan!"

"Then I'll have to ask for your number, Hachi-nii." Asked the ravenette kid. Hachiman complied and gave her his contact details. "I'll treasure this, Hachi-nii!"

"It's time for us to go, Rumi-chan!" Kiara offered her hand, to which Rumi grabbed and the two walked to their bus. They stopped walking and turned around once more.

""See you soon, Hachi-nii!"" Exclaimed the two, who boarded their bus and went ahead.

"Siscon." Hachiman heard the girls mutter under their breaths, even his little sister chimed in.

"They're not even related to me." He argued, to which Komachi responded. "That's even worse, Gomi-chan."

"So…" Hiratsuka rounded them all up. "Time for us to go. Make sure you guys haven't forgotten any of your belongings." The teens checked their bags once more, looking for something missing. Once they were done, Hiratsuka spoke once again. "Once you guys are done checking, get in the van."

"I wanna go home, Onii-chan." Komachi said to her brother, who was busy checking his bag. "I wanna lay down my soft bed once again!" Exclaimed the teen.

"Me too Komachi-chan!" Yui agrees.

"Then get inside the van." Hachiman replied. "The quicker you get in the faster we'll be going home." The two obliged and went inside the van. Once they were all inside, Hiratsuka stepped on the gas and they went their merry way towards home.

Reaching the station where they met up prior to the camp, the group of teens bid farewell to each other. Yumiko and her friends all went together to have more fun. Totsuka quickly left too.

This left the members of the service club, Saki, Komachi and Hiratsuka.

"I better return this car to the rental." Hiratsuka stated as she drove off, leaving the five in awkward silence.

It didn't last long though, as Saki started to speak. "How about you Hachiman? Are you going home?" questioned the silverette to the only remaining male.

Before Hachiman could reply, a black car stopped in front of them. Yukino, who was familiar with the car, sighed. A woman in her early 20s stepped out, and quickly turned her attention to the fish eyed teen. "Hachiman-kun! Welcome back!" Spoke the woman as she made her way to the teen. The teen in question pinched his nose for the upcoming stress.

"Good afternoon, Haruno-san." Replied Hachiman, who used her given name to distinguish her from her younger sister. "Why are you here?"

The elder Yukinoshita pouted at his question. "Mou, don't you want me to be here? Kaa-san said you'll be delighted to see me." The woman turned her attention to her younger sister. "Come on Yukino-chan, Kaa-san wants to see the souvenirs you've bought." Yukino didn't need to be told twice, as she quickly entered the black car she was very familiar with.

"Well, I guess it's time for us to go." Hachiman, who sensed that he will be dragged too, spoke to try and escape the situation.

"Kaa-san wants you to come too, Hachiman-kun."

"Tell her that I'm tired." Refusing to bow down to the situation, he attempted a last ditch effort to leave. "Come on Komachi, Saki." He spoke as they started walking.

"But Kaa-san would be sad, you know? She wanted to see you, Hachiman-kun." This stopped the fish eyed teen on his tracks. "She would be hurt once she knew that you didn't want to see her." The woman once again spoke. "Are you sure you want to make my Mother sad again?" That was the nail in the coffin as Hachiman grumbled.

"Alright fine, I'll come." The young man then turned his attention to his younger sister. "Make sure you get home safely, and shoot me a text once you do." He said to her. "Saki, could you please walk my sister home?"

"Sure." The silverette replied.

"Yuigahama-san, take care going home." Hachiman bid farewell to his clubmate, who was uncharacteristically silent the whole time.

"Y-you too Hikki! Take care!" Yui then joined the fish eyed teen's younger sister and the silverette, and walked towards the train station.

Once the girls left, Hachiman grumbled his way to the black car that was waiting for him. Opening the door, he was faced with a surprised Yukino. "H-Hikigaya-kun? What are you doing?" Questioned the ravenette.

"Your Mom wants to see me for some reason." He answered. "Could you please scoot over? The faster I get in the faster we could get your apartment. Yukino scooted over, giving Hachiman ample seat to sit on. The drive to Yukino's apartment was silent, mostly because Yukino struggled to come up with a good topic for them to talk about. Hachiman on the other hand, ignored the elder sister who was sitting shotgun beside their family driver.

Now in front of Yukino's apartment, Haruno rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door opened and greeted the fish eyed teen was Yukinoshita Fuyume.

In casual clothes.

Wearing a gray camisole, and black shorts, the appeal of the mother skyrocketed. 'Even though I've seen her outside her favorite state of dress, it's still surprising to see her in casual clothes.' Thought the teen.

When her eyes landed on the male's form, Fuyume quickly ran towards him. "Hachiman!" Spoke the woman as she embraced the teen. "I thought you wouldn't come at all!" Said the mother with obvious glee in her voice.

"Good afternoon, Fuyume-san." Greeted the teen. Looking around, he saw the daughters look at him with an annoyed expression.

'Mother clings to Hikigaya-kun like they're newlyweds.' Thought the youngest Yukinoshita. 'Why does it feel… irritating?'

"Come in, I've made something to eat." The quartet walked inside, with Fuyume clinging on the teen. Once inside, Hachiman was instructed to sit down by the mother as she went ahead to finish cooking.

Looking at the sisters, they were looking at him the same way they were earlier, annoyance plastered on their faces.

"Hachiman-kun, if I didn't know any better, then I might've suspected you and Kaa-san to be married, you know?" Spoke the elder sister.

"Please stop clinging to my Mother like that, Hikigaya-kun." Chimed the younger. Hachiman can't help but roll his eyes and pinch the bridge of his nose in frustration.

"Your Mom is the one that clung on me, Yukinoshita." Replied the fish eyed teen. "I didn't even want to come here in the first place, I just don't want your mother to be sad again. You know that she's still hurt right?" Hachiman explained has he turned his attention to the television.

Silence returned and enveloped the Yukinoshita apartment. After a few minutes, Fuyume emerged from the confines of the kitchen and ushered the three.

Once settled down, they all helped themselves with a serving of curry and pork tonkatsu.

"How's the taste Hachiman? Is it good?" Asked the mother, who was staring intently on the teenager.

"Well it's good." Replied the fish eyed teen as he chomped on a piece of tonkatsu. Fuyume smiled at his response, which didn't go unnoticed to her daughters. "Then I'm glad you liked it." Said Fuyume.

'Mother looks at him the way she used to look at dad. Should I be worried?' Thought Yukino.

"How was summer camp?" Haruno asks, curious about what happened.

"Summer camp was tiring." Came the reply from Hachiman, who is currently chewing.

"Hikigaya-kun, please refrain from showing those caveman tendencies of yours." Reprimanded Yukino, with Fuyume giggling at her daughter's antics.

Once the dinner was over, the four of them went back to the living room, watching a romantic movie about a ship sinking. Hachiman was forced to sit in the middle of the couch, with Fuyume cling on his right, and Haruno on his left.

Yukino was pouting as she sat on the other couch. 'Why must I have to lose against Nee-san?' She reflected as she chose paper, with her older sister choosing scissors.

"Jack?" The actress, who was on a floating piece of door, asked the man she loved. Getting no response, she tried nudging him awake, which proved futile.

"No! They could've fit on the door! Why must it be like this?!" Came the voice of Fuyume, whose tears are flowing freely as she felt the emotion of the scene.

"So we could cry like this, Kaa-san." Voice Haruno, who was also crying her eyes out. Yukino was already sleeping, so she didn't witness the ending of the movie. The movie ended with Fuyume and Haruno both crying.

"That was a masterpiece!" Exclaimed Fuyume, with Haruno agreeing to her mother. "So, did you like the movie, Hachiman?"

Said teen wasn't able to answer, for he is sleeping soundly like Yukino. Fuyume smiled and both she and her eldest leaned on the fish eyed loner to sleep.

When Hachiman was jolted out of sleep, he saw the Yukinoshitas sleeping soundly. Not even bothering to check the time, Hachiman went back to sleep.
