"Hey, Hachiman!" I heard someone call out to me. "It's nice to see you here!" When I looked at the source of the voice, it was the silver haired classmate of mine, Totsuka Saika. "Glad that you could make it!"

"Yeah, I was fortunate enough to be here." I replied to his words. It has been a couple of years since I've left high school. I got a job, became stable enough to earn money so I can leave for overseas. Now, I am working as a legal counsel for one of the tech giants of the world, Banana Inc.

It's been fifteen years since I stepped foot in Chiba, let alone Japan.

I've been to various places for the last half decade, but never to my own country. I think the closest place I've been to Japan was Korea? That was when I am acting as the team manager for the upcoming tech expo. I still don't know why they chose me to become the leader of the event.

"The last time I've seen you in person was when we graduated." I replied. "That was fifteen years ago." I added as he nodded to me. "How was life for you?"

Totsuka struck a thinking pose before he answered. "It was good. After we graduated, I continued playing tennis." Totsuka said as he continued to explain. "I've worked my way up until I've reached the big leagues." He finished as he smiled to me.

"I've watched your run at last year's Wimbledon." I commented. "It was mesmerizing to see you play." I've watched how he played last year, and he was really amazing. "I hope you secure the championship this year."

"Thank you for the cheer, Hachiman!" He smiled at me once again. Even if the time has passed, Totsuka's smile is still angelic. "I've got to go, I need to tend to my wife." He excused as he walked towards his wife, leaving me at the balcony of the Chiba recreational hall.

"A yen for your thoughts?"

When I turned to look at the source of the voice, I was surprised to see Yukinoshita Yukino, who is wearing a black dress that accentuates her figure.

"If you've got a change then maybe." I responded as she smiled to my response. "You look great in that dress Yukinoshita-san." I wasn't observing her that much, but I think she frowned when I mentioned her name. "I thought you wouldn't come to this reunion at all."

"I'm more surprised that you came." Said the woman as she stood next to me. "We've been holding reunions every year since the tenth anniversary of our graduation." She explained. "No one knew how to contact you at all." She finished as she took a sip of the wine she brought.

"Komachi wanted to see me, so I came home." I responded. "It was just a fortunate timing that the reunion was within the time frame of my stay here. Though knowing Komachi, she probably planned this."

The ravenette woman smiled at me and quipped. "Fifteen years and you're still a siscon. Looks like you haven't changed at all."

"Hey, it's a brother's duty to come if his sister calls for him." I guess my banter game has become weak, since she didn't even reply to what I've said. With my reply having no reply, I started a new topic. "So, what keeps you busy?" I asked the former Ice Queen of Sobu High.

"Work." She replied as she sighed. "Ever since our expansion, it has been tiresome to manage the company." She looked angry. "Mother wants to have grandkids, but with my workload, I really can't afford to do it at all."

"How's your mother?" Yukino then became silent. Is it something that I shouldn't have asked?

"She misses you, you know?" I heard from her as she broke the awkwardness. "If you could squeeze it on your schedule, please visit my Mother, Hikigaya-kun."

She left me shortly after saying that she needs to go.

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that Yukinoshita married into the Snowden family, which is the one that owns Sweden's biggest furniture company, IKEA. That's the primary reason why their construction company has expanded globally.

It's also the reason why Yukinoshita has been sighing.

"Oi! Hikio!" It was at this moment that the blonde haired former classmate of mine decided make her presence known. "Long time no see!" she said as she embraced me from behind and almost crushed me with a bear hug. Once she's had her fill with crushing me, she let go and stood beside me.

"You didn't have to crush me, you know?" I questioned her which she just laughed off. "It's good to see you again, Miura."

"You're being too formal with me, Hikio." She pouted as her arms crossed. "It's like we're not friends at all."

"Sorry…" Was my answer. "It's been too long since I've talked to anyone from high school. I'm not sure what to call you."

"You can call me like you used to." Replied the blonde to me.

"Sure, Yumiko." When she heard her name, she smiled like a kid that got a present for Christmas. We both got silent after that, with Miu- Yumiko checking her phone and me observing her actions. Deciding to initiate a conversation this time, I asked the blonde about herself. "So what are you up to now?"

"I'm currently a teacher." I heard her answer. "Ever since we tutored those kids, I've wanted to teach." I wasn't surprised at all since she's always had the motherly instincts.

"That's not surprising." I muttered. She looked at me which clearly said that I should expound on my statement. "Well I knew that you'd be attached to kids. Your mother hen tendencies have been showing since we were high school."

"You're right." Laughing as she replied. "Besides, my mother hen tendencies have amplified since Rose came into my life." That was something new. So even Yumiko have settled down huh?

"Your kid?"

"Yeah. I love her very much that her dad thinks that I'm spoiling her too much." Came her answer. Yumiko then went and showed me the picture of her daughter. "Isn't she the cutest thing?"

It was a picture of a six-year old little girl that had blonde locks like her mother. She was right, her daughter was cute, but it wasn't as cute as my little sister when she was little. So no, your daughter is not the cutest kid Yumiko.

Looking at the picture once again, I see that Yumiko's daughter resemble one of our classmates. Then when I saw her eyes, I knew immediately who it was. "Her eyes look like her dad's." My comment made the blonde woman beside me look surprised.

"You know her father? I thought you didn't have any news about any of us?" She quickly fired of questions about me knowing.

"I could tell Tobe's eyes from a mile away, Yumiko." Was my reply. "Congratulations to you two by the way."

The fiery fire queen got meek and turned red. "Thanks Hikio. That's big coming from you."

"So, who's with who then?" Was my question to Yumiko. I'm pretty confident that she knows who hooked up with who, for she always loved gossip, even before we graduated high school.

"Well this may come as a surprise, but Yui's married to Hayato." That for sure is a shocker. I couldn't even hide my surprise as she laughed at my surprised face. "Unexpected right? I was surprised to hear that they were dating!" She exclaimed at me. Seeing that I was silent, she continued with gossips. "Ebina ended up with Zaimokuza, which is good since she was his editor."

"Not surprising at all." I voiced my thoughts. "They both have similar tastes so I can see them get together."

"Get this! Saki's with Totsuka, and they've been married for 7 years now." That's another surprising thing I've heard today. Yumiko was going to explain about it more but a phone call interrupted our conversation. "I've got to go Hikio, it was nice to catch up with you."

That leaves me alone once again, staring at the moonlit sky and making ponder…

Everyone that I knew back then have settled down, but not me. Will I always be alone?

"Now, let's start our meeting!" The red haired Chairwoman, Sagami Minami, exclaimed. Hachiman noted that she was looked disinterested even if she is smiling. "Advertising, what's your status?"

The acting leader of the advertising group stood up. "The pin-up posters are about halfway to completion."

This made the redhead happy. "Really? That's great!"

"No, we're actually behind schedule." The cold tone of Yukino removed the joyous atmosphere of the chairwoman. Have you determined the locations for the posters and updated the school website?"

The advertising head replies with a "Not yet."

"Please hurry." The raven haired teen coughs lightly. "Working individuals aside, students considering applying to this school and their guardians would often check the school website." Yukino then mentions for Sagami to continue, which she does.

"Liaison, you're up next." The redhead nervously spoke.

"Ten groups have expressed their desire to participate."

"The number's growing!" Sagami claps to this. "Maybe it's thanks to the regional awards. Then, ne-" The red haired teen couldn't even finish her sentence as her vice-chair interjected.

"Are those groups only from within the school?" Yukino coldly questioned. "Have any outside organizations approached us? We use this event as a means to maintain relationships with people in the region. We need to ensure steady participation from outside." Explained the teen. "We'll also need a schedule for stage usage and staff to manage it. Please submit a timetable for those." Sternly suggested Yukino as she looked into more papers.

"Okay!" Replied the liaison leader as she sits back down.

"Wow, Yukinoshita-san is amazing!" Commended Shiromeguri as chorus of compliments also came from others. "I knew that Haru-san's sister would be great!"

"Right! She's like an actual chairwoman!"

"Really!"

Hearing this, Yukino responded. "No, I haven't done anything a-"

"Maybe she should be the one in charge!" A member of the committee exclaimed. Awkwardness hung in the air and made it much more tense than before.

"Next up, Historians." The raven haired teen call for the leader of the historians. "Historians should submit a schedule detailing which events they will cover and equipment requests."

All Minami could do was clench her fists and grit her teeth, which Hachiman notices.

Shiromeguri, sensing the tension building up, decided to step in. "How about we all take a break? We all could use refreshments!" She said as she applauded her idea. "Please come back in 15 minutes so we could continue with the meeting."

The members of the committee quickly left the room to grab their own drink, Hachiman included. Sitting down a bench that overlooks the track and field, the teen then opens his can of Max Coffee.

'Truly, the drink of the gods.' Thought Hachiman as he took a sip from the heavenly drink. 'I rarely get nightmares, ever since I decided to become a better version of myself.' The fish eyed teen reflected as he recollected the events of his nightmare. 'Honestly, there's no chance Yumi and Tobe would hook up. That's the real nightmare if it happens.' Thought the teen as he remembered that in his nightmare, Yumiko and Tobe became a couple.

As the teen pondered over his recent dream, the raven haired Yukino sat down beside him.

"You look more dead that usual." Uttered Yukino, who is busy reviewing the committee papers. "I can see the deadness of your eyes from a mile away."

Noticing the papers, Hachiman then speaks out. "You're reviewing papers even on breaks? You act like the chairwoman so much that it's surprising you're still the vice-chair." Hachiman then hands her his drink, and takes the papers away from her. "Here, have a drink. The papers won't leave so you can take a break."

"But I don't like the taste of coffee." Yukino replies as she examines the can she was given. "I'd rather have tea than drink coffee."

"Try it, it tastes good."

Following the suggestion, the raven-haired teen then takes a sip from the can. "This tastes too sweet!" Exclaimed Yukino as her taste buds complained about the sweetness. "This should be banned. Why do you like this?"

"Life is bitter, so coffee should at least be sweet." Replied the dead eyed teen.

"If I didn't hear it coming from you, I would've believed it as the actual tagline for…" She trailed off as she looked at the brand of the sweetened drink. "Max Coffee."

"If that happens, I would be rich and would never work once again for my entire life." Hachiman responds to her.

"Then good thing they haven't heard it yet." The raven haired girl giggles lightly at her comeback. "Is the committee work tiring?" She asked after calming down.

"I should be the one asking you that." Hachiman quickly replies as he stares at the track and field team, who were doing their exercises. "But no, I can manage the paperwork thrown at me quite easily."

"Why are you in the committee in the first place?" Asked the wondering Yukino. "Did you actually want to join or were you forced once again by Hiratsuka-sensei?"

"A little bit of both, actually." Responded the fish eyed teen. "If I was awake when Hiratsuka-sensei asked for our section's representatives, I would've nominated myself." Explained the teen. "I just don't like that I don't have a say in this matter. It feels like I don't have a choice but to do it." After explaining, he asked a question himself. "Why didn't you volunteer to be the Chairperson?"

The raven haired girl took a deep breath before explaining. "Nee-san was the one in charge back in her senior year." Pausing to take a sip from the can she was holding, she continued. "It was regarded as the best cultural festival by everyone. I just didn't want to be compared to my sister, that's why I didn't want to become the one in charge."

"Understandable." Hachiman comments. "I wouldn't want Komachi to experience that either."

"You always find a way to bring up your siscon tendencies to every conversation." Yukino acts like she was disgusted. "Please refrain from coming near me if you're going to continue to bring up your little sister."

Deciding to change their topic, the dead eyed teen speaks out. "How's your mother? Is she still mad about the whole ditching situation?"

"Mother would smother you once you come to my apartment." The girl then pinches the bridge of her nose as if she is becoming stressed. "She would always ask about you whenever I come home. Honestly, why can't she just text or call you?"

"Do you think she doesn't do that?" Hachiman remarks. "Your mom texts me every night asking if it's alright to call." He explains. "Since I really can't reject her, she ends up calling me every night as a result." Sighed the fish eyed teen.

"My mother does that?" Asked the raven haired girl in disbelief. "Why is she so adamant to talk to you?" Questioned Yukino.

"I don't know, to be honest." Shrugged the dead eyed teen. "Maybe your mother wants to have a son, or wanted to have one? She treats me like a son or something like that." Reasoned the teen, trying to make sense with the treatment he's getting from Fuyume. "Either that or I'm going to be your Stepfather real soon."

"Don't even speak to me about that." Yukino responds quickly. "That sounds gross in so many levels that I would never entertain that thought."

The two, with Hachiman laughing heartily, and Yukino pouting at him, continued spending their break at ease.

"Sorry, but I've asked her to come." Hachiman hears as he walks towards the committee meeting spot. Seeing the commotion that was forming in the doorway, the teen takes a peek to see what it was. "We didn't have enough groups participating, so I thought that maybe she could…" The fish eyed teen sees Shiromeguri talk to Yukino, who is clearly uncomfortable with it. "Haru-san played in a band in her third year! Even Hiratsuka-sensei was in it too! It was really amazing!" the StuCo President proudly says.

"I know, I've seen their performance." Yukino replied.

Deciding to take the matters to her own hands, Haruno grabs Shiromeguri by the shoulder. "Oh please, Meguri. I was just playing around." Letting go of Shiromeguri's shoulders to hold onto her sister's, the alumnus pleads. "Come on, Can't I join, Yukino-chan? I want to do whatever I can for my lovely little sister!"

Distancing herself from her sister, Yukino responds. "You're free to apply. I'm not the one approving the applications anyway."

Feigning her surprise, the older sister then asks her. "I thought you're the committee chair. If it's not you, then who's in charge?"

Cue the actual chairperson, Minami, entering the room. "Sorry I'm late!" The red haired teenager greets everyone in the room by waving her hand to them, walking up to Yukino, Shiromeguri, and Haruno. "I checked up on my class and got stuck there!"

"Haru-san, this is the chairwoman." Said the Student Council President. Haruno then observes the newcomer with a scrutinizing look.

Feeling pressured under the woman's gaze, the chairwoman nervously introduces herself. "I'm S-sagami Minami, nice to meet you." She bowed.

"Hoh, the chairwoman was late because she checked up on her class." Points out Haruno. "I see how it is."

Wanting to explain herself, Minami tried to speak, but was interrupted when the older Yukinoshita spoke once again.

"That's only way to go!" She exclaimed with a smile. "Only someone who enjoys the festival to the fullest deserves to be the committee chair!"

"Thank you very much!" bowed the red haired teen as she was happy with the compliment.

"So, I have a request for you, Chairwoman!" Hachiman then notices the switch on the older Yukinoshita's emotions. "I want to participate too! But Yukino-chan doesn't want me to."

'This woman is really a master manipulator.' Thought the dead eyed teen.

The chairwoman, sparing a glance to the younger Yukinoshita, smirks as she gives her verdict. "Sure, why not. We need more participants anyway." Her reply caused Haruno to spring up and embrace her, while making Yukino walk back to her seat. Feeling smug, the red haired teen speaks once more. "Maintaining relationships with people on the region, right?"

Hachiman, seeing the commotion ended, decided to discreetly walk into his desk.

"Ara, if isn't Hachiman!" Exclaimed the older Yukinoshita, which the fish eyed teen ignored. "Mou, you're being cold to me like Yukino-chan." Pouted the woman.

"I have the right to." Replied the teen. "Please don't interact with me." He spoke as he sat down.

"Attention, everyone!" Exclaimed Minami as she walked in the middle of the room. "I've been thinking, and, like, I think committee members need to enjoy the festival the most!" She starts out. "Like, you can't make something enjoyable unless you enjoy it too!" Pausing to look at her friends, the chairwoman then speaks once again. "We've been on top of our schedule so far, and I think helping our classes is important too. Why don't we give ourselves a little breather?"

The first to answer her was Yukino, who stopped typing from her laptop. "Sagami-san, I don't think you should take our work so lightly." Lectured the raven haired girl. "We've been proceeding with Haste early on so we can have some leeway-"

"We helped our classes back when I was the chairwoman." Haruno interrupted, stroking the chairwoman's ego even further.

"Yukinoshita-san, I don't know what's going on between you and your sister…" Once again, Minami looks at Yukino smugly. "But we should listen to our elders, you know? Let's keep personal matters out of this and think about what everybody wants."

"Wow! You know how to say it!" Praised Haruno. "Right?" She looked towards the fish eyed teen for confirmation.

"Stop stroking her ego even further." Hachiman replies and stands up. "Just because we're ahead of the schedule, doesn't mean you should take it for granted." Started the teen as he looks to the red haired Chairwoman. "You don't even help with what our class is making, you're just watching them and gossiping with your sidekicks." Criticized the teen. "But fine, you're the committee head anyway." Finished the teen sarcastically as he sat back down.

With the cultural festival nearing, everyone was busy. Hachiman's class was busy preparing a play, which is titled "The Little Prince." Upon the Committee Chairwoman's advice, more and more members of the committee were helping out their respective classes. This led to those that were staying to get bunch of paperwork stacked up on their desks, with even the fish eyed teen getting some papers. The biggest victim of piled up works was Yukino, as she was responsible for everything the committee was doing, since it's head was spending more time helping her class.

The dead eyed teen looked to where Yukino was. Seeing her get more and more paperwork as time passes. Speaking of which, someone just added bunch of new papers for the raven haired girl to check, which made her sigh.

"Maybe I should've vetoed Sagami-san's suggestion." Hachiman heard the StuCo. President say as she placed a file for the teen to encode. "Sorry, but we won't make it unless we split up the work among everyone here."

"It's fine for me." Answered the teen. "I'm used to getting overwhelmed with paperwork. I used to work for a convenience store. You're going to be surprised with the amount of paperwork that you're gonna have to do there." Explained Hachiman, who didn't stop typing. "She on the other hand, deserves everyone's apology here." He pointed to Yukino, who just received another file.

"Excuse me!" A voice rang from the door. "I'd like to submit an application for a group's participation."

"The applications go in the back left bin." Yukino tiredly replies to the newcomer.

The newcomer, which is very familiar with the dead eyed teen who is typing at a rapid pace, noticed the division of labor and the shortcomings it has. "Do you have enough hands?" The person asked towards the fish eyed teen, even walking to where he was.

"I have enough hands to finish my work. I can't say for others though." Quipped the teen as he continued typing. "Help would be appreciated by others though, Hayama. We even have subcommittee and others still lag behind."

The newcomer, Hayama, was surprised. "What Subcommittee?"

"I've become an assistant Historian. I'm even doing some accounting work."

"But as far as I can see, it's still Yukinoshita-san who is taking care of everything." Noted the blond teen.

Yukino stopped typing to reply. "It's more efficient this way."

"But it would turn into disaster soon enough." Countered Hayama, who once again spoke. "You should learn to rely on others before worse come to worst." Seeing the vice-chair continue her work, the blond teen speaks once again. "I'll help." This surprises Yukino, who even voices her surprise with an audible huh. "I'll handle the paperwork for participating groups, as a representative from the participants. Does that sound good?"

To his question, Shiromeguri then appeals to the raven haired girl. "Teamwork makes the dream work, Yukinoshita-san. Even Haru-san delegated tasks in times like this." This brought unwanted tension inside the room, with everyone looking at Yukino and waited for her to speak.

'While Hayama and Shiromeguri-senpai's opinions are correct. In fact, by saying their opinions, it makes others want to rely more and the sense of fellowship increases. But does that really mean that doing everything by yourself is wrong? Should someone be criticized for working alone, even if she has been doing so from the start? I don't think so.' Thought the teen as reflects on his observations. "Sure, relying on others are important, but everything that we are facing now was because of others' reliance to someone else in the first place." His opinion made everyone in the room look at him, waiting for further explanation. "We used to be ahead of the schedule, but that "breather" the Chairwoman gave us put us into much worse situation. If you guys really want this festival to happen, make sure you work your damned hardest so we could catch up to our timetable." The teen finished explaining. "Give me some of those papers Yukinoshita, I'll check them for you."

"Alright, I'll reconsider the division of labor." The vice-chair relents. "As for extra help, as Shiromeguri-senpai's suggestion, we'll welcome you with open arms. I'm sorry."

"We just have to hang on just a little bit more!"

"Hey Hikki, what do you think Yukinon's apartment looks like?" The pinkette questioned the dead eyed teen, who was fiddling with his phone.

"It looks fine. I've been there frequently, and it looks like your typical apartment, but a bit larger." The teen tries to remember how the apartment looked like.

"Eh? You've been meeting Yukinon behind my back?" The bubbly pinkette stares at the teen. "Are you dating Yukinon, Hikki?"

"N-No, we're not dating." Replied Hachiman. "It's her mother that wants me to visit there often." Clarified the teen.

"You're dating Yukinon's Mom?!"

"Your logic is flawed Yuigahama-san." Spoke the fish eyed teen. "She's married, and a mother!" Luckily for the teen, they are at Yukino's apartment building. "We're here."

Once they are in front of Yukino's apartment, the dead eyed teen knocked on the door.

The door was opened by Fuyume, who smiled like a kid when she saw the dead eyed teen. "Ara! I wasn't informed that you are going to come here, Hachiman!" The woman immediately glomped the poor teenager. He shot a look of help to the pinkette, but the pinkette just smiled nervously at him. "Yukino! Your friends are here!" The mother shouted. "Come inside, I just finished brewing tea." Fuyume drags the fish eyed teen to the couch.

Yui sat on the single seater couch, while Hachiman was forced to sit to the larger couch as Fuyume clung unto him. "I'm not letting you go this time Hachiman, you're going to sneak away if I do."

"I won't, Fuyume-san." Muttered the teen. The mother continued to cling to him, however.

"Ah, Yukinon!" Exclaimed the pinkette waving at her friend. Seeing her look unwell, she ran towards her to support her. "Are you okay, Yukinon?" Worried the teen.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry for making you worry, Yuigahama-san." Assured the raven haired girl. When she saw the fish eyed teen on the couch with her mother, she pouted.

Fuyume, seeing her daughter, decided to get up and away from the three. "I'll leave you three to yourselves. Be a good host, Yukino."

Once the mother was gone, Yukino asked them about their visit. "What do we need to talk about?"

"Well…" Yui started. "You were out sick, so I was hoping you were okay."

The raven haired girl leaned onto the wall and replied to the pinkette. "I was out for one day. You're overreacting, Yuigahama-san."

"But you look really tired!" Argued the worried Yui. "And you're like, really pale!"

"I was somewhat tired, but not enough to be a problem."

"But that's the problem." Responded the pinkette. "You don't need to take on all the work yourself."

Sighing, Yukino responded to her statement. "I know, that's why I divided the tasks and reduced the workload on m-"

"But not enough." Yui cut her off. "I'm kinda mad, okay?" The pinkette then looks towards the dead eyed teen. "I'm mad at you too, Hikki. You said you'd save Yukinon when she's in trouble!'

"I said I'll try, Yuigahama-san. I even asked Yukinoshita if there are any work that she needs help with."

"You don't need to be concerned, Yuigahama-san." Assured Yukino. "There's still time, and I can work from home, so the schedule is unaffected."

"But that's just wrong…" Yui's shoulders slumped down. "Isn't it much better to rely on others?"

"Relying on others, asking for help, is not bad." It was Hachiman that spoke this time. "You might say that it is idealistic, that someone will always draw the short straw. But it is better than doing things alone, at least when it comes to the cultural festival." The teen explained.

"Rely on us! Hikki and I!" Yui exclaimed, surprising the two. "Not on everyone, not on others, Rely on us, Yukinon!"

"Hachiman! Come and sit beside me." Fuyume pats the vacant part of the couch motioning for the dead eyed teen to sit. "Did the both of you come here because you're worried about my daughter?" Asked the mother.

With Yui leaving the apartment earlier, it was up to the fish eyed teen to answer the question. "It was Yuigahama-san's idea." The teen then speaks once more as he explains the decision to visit. "She got very worried about your daughter's health, and dragged me here to check up on her."

The mother smiled and teased the teen. "Fufufu… you just can't admit that you're worried, Hachiman."

"A bit." Replied the teen as a whisper, making sure that the raven haired teenager won't hear him. "It's just that I've predicted that this will happen."

"Hoh, so you're really keeping an eye on my Yukino then, huh?" The woman questioned.

"That's because I know that you're going to ask me about her if given the opportunity. That is why I decided to just accept it." Explained the fish eyed teen.

"How about Haruno? Do you also keep an eye on her?"

"She's keeping distance ever since I met your husband." Answered Hachiman, which surprised the woman.

"You've met Yamato? When?" Was her question, clearly not knowing about the encounter.

"I thought that Haruno have told you." Replied the teen. "But yes, I met Yamato-san when Haruno decided to drag me to your mansion after the fireworks festival. He's a good person at heart, it's just that when your daughter joked about me being her boyfriend, he got a bit angry and decided to be the "strict father."

"Yeah, that's just how he is." Giggled Fuyume. "Is that why my eldest doesn't want to come here when I texted her that you're here? Because that's what I did and she said that she's a bit embarrassed seeing you."

"I don't know Fuyume-san, maybe." Responded the teen. "I just want an apology for her putting me on the spot you know? It was so humiliating that I never wanted to experience that once more." The teen looks at the clock and sees that it was late. He tried to stand up but the firm grip of the mother disabled him from doing so. "I think I should go. It's getting late."

Donning the best puppy dog-eye impression that she could, the Yukinoshita matriarch pleaded to the teen. "Would you please stay, Hachiman?"

Sighing, the teen knew that he wouldn't be able to talk his way out.

A/N: Hello
