That night after ending her talk with her brother at the Zacchara warehouse, Claudia had went to see Nikolas Cassadine-to thank him for looking after her when she couldn't care for herself. Maybe she did like him, would that really be so bad? Claudia had ended up acting on her feelings due to the whiskey they'd consumed…blinking awake, the dark prince's arms were still wound tightly around her naked body. Claudia couldn't recall a time that she'd had such strong feelings for a man…her escapades with Ric were nothing of any substance. Her night with Sonny was pure lust but that was over, from the moment the man had her baby brother shot. With Nikolas? It wasn't just an unnerving lust they actually understood each other. After making out a couple of more minutes both got dressed, something seemed to be on his mind.
"Cat got you're tounge?" Claudia arched one brow, walking into the main room of Wyndemere.
"I'm-worried about my sister. I know that the two of you don't exactly get along but…I don't like how obsessive Logan's become. If it continues he's going to become violent, Lucky and I have always feared this would happen. Lucky thinks that you're brother will be what brings her down but, I think Logan will be what breaks her. Then, she'll be just like our mother. I can already see history repeating itself." Nikolas was troubled as he spoke.
"Listen, I might not like Lulu but…you've got to give her more credit than that Nikolas. We don't always end up like our parents. I'll have to have a word with you're brother…because that's the last thing John will be. John loves that girl-he'd give his own life in exchange for hers. I agree Logan has become obsessive and creepy but, I think Lulu's stronger than that. Just some food for thought-trust her. I can tell she doesn't have a lot of that/I can relate." Claudia looked at him, surprised.
"I've seen it before and I don't like the choices she's made." Nikolas defended himself, striking a nerve with Claudia.
"You don't know what she's going through, Nikolas. It's unfair of you to label her as weak, or to label my brother. You nor Lucky even know him, I thought better of you. I really did. I'll see myself out." Claudia all but snarled, stalking towards the door.
"Claudia, wait!" Nikolas sighed in discontent but, she was already out of the door.
"I would have to ruin it." Nikolas wipes a hand over his slick forehead, not even bothering to chase her.
"I thought you were different-that's what I get for thinking." Claudia rolled her eyes boarding the ferry, making it back to land. Once she made her way back to solid ground, she walked over to John's Penthouse apartment.
"What the-where's the door?" She squinted, pulling the blue tarp back and entering the apartment…to see her brother drinking a cup of coffee as he leaned against the bar in the kitchen.
"You have a party last night? Who stole you're fucking door?" Claudia threw him a confused look, as she gazed around the disheveled apartment. The older woman kneeled down to look at a stain on the carpet-wait a minute. Blood.
"It's Lulu's. Hayes attacked Maxie Jones last night at Crimson-Lulu saw From my window and Hayes came up here." Johnny had a blank look on his face.
"Oh my god! Is she alright?" Claudia gasped, hand flying up to her mouth in shock.
"Hayes broke the door down with an axe because she wouldn't unlock the door. When Maxie and I got up here last night, he was on top of her…beating the shit out of her. She might have head trauma I don't know, she has a black eye. Claudia, I was so afraid that I'd lost her. I wanted to kill him. I've never wanted to hurt someone as much as I did in that moment." Johnny relayed putting his cup down on the counter as he ran a hand through his hair, taking a seat on the couch.
"I'm so sorry…I know how scared she must have been. I'll call and get you a door, you can't be unprotected. I just came from Nikolas's. Logan deserves to die but, I'm glad you didn't kill him. Leave that to me. I'll call someone to have the carpet cleaned…how is she doing? How are you doing? You should have called me." Claudia shook her head, ditto by her brother.
"She's a mess right now, I couldn't get her to sleep until about four this morning. What were you doing at Wyndemere? Trust me I really wanted to kill him but, I care about Lulu. She needed me. Me? I'm fine, I'm just worried about her. I didn't want to interrupt you." Johnny sighed, keeping an ear out in case Lulu had another nightmare.
"That's understandable. I slept with Nikolas but, I regret it. Nikolas and Lucky seem to think that Lulu's going to snap and go crazy like their mother. I guess what turned me off is the fact that they think Lulu isn't strong enough to handle it…because the same has been said about me. Of course, the fact that they both judge you without knowing you doesn't help their case. John, you know you can always call me. I might catch an attitude sometimes but, you know I'm always here." Claudia admitted.
"Claudia, barely anyone even attempts to know me. It's always been this way, I've gotten used to it. The only person who gets as triggered over that fact as you do is Lulu, I accepted it a long time ago. Lulu is strong, I think that's why you two butt heads…because in some ways you're so alike. You shouldn't blame Nikolas." Johnny shook his head, Lulu and Claudia were the only ones who would fight someone over him.
"Well from where I'm standing, my brother can go to hell."
