Super Comrade: We won't see much of Eldia for the next few chapters. Right now, I want to introduce our Season 4 cast and take a step back from Paradis.

October 2nd, Northern Front Military HeadQuarters

As the Warriors headed down the hall, a dark-skinned man wearing a helmet passed by them. Seemingly disinterested in their conversation, in reality he was anything but.

'Bertholdt Hoover and Marcel Galliard…the Colossal and Jaw Titan wielders were captured and killed during the Paradis Operation?' The man thought, he smiled. 'Kor-general Nishte will be pleased to hear this…and I'll finally be out of this country which has forsaken their soul for the power of the devil!'

He quickly walked down the hall, gritting his teeth, he removed his bulky Marleyan helmet and made his way out of the headquarters.

As he moved through Liberio, he took off his Marleyan disguise. Right now, he was Erich Hapelbringer, a paper-pushing ensign. There had to be hundreds in the Headquarters doing various takes, a spy could easily slip in and out.

He headed into the Internment Zone, slightly gagging at the sight of all the Eldians. 'Devil filth' He scoffed, he could barely tolerate their stench. But his personal preference had to be put aside for the sake of the Sultanate.

He turned a corner, and found an isolated trap door buried under deliberately placed piles of trash. Pulling out a key, he opened the door before entering and locking it again…

"(Allah protect the Sultan.)" 'Erich' waited for a response before descending.

"(And may he shine His grace unto our comrades.)" Came the response, as another Olturka officer came, "(What news do you bring Ashäd?)" He asked, utilizing their native Olturk language.

"(Great. The Colossal and Jaw Titans have been lost to Paradis.)" Ashäd smiled,

"(Great news indeed, Kor-general Nishte will have to pull us out of this filthy Zone now.)" The officer smiled, "(I'll send the telegram right away.)"

Constabul, Ecahrt: Mid-East Alliance Military HeadQuarters

An aged Olturka general with a graying beard peacefully smoked a pipe in the corner of a room. This was Kor-General Nishte Amäli of the Mid-East Allies intelligence.

Nishte was a professional in intelligence. Growing from frontline reconnaissance missions during the Europa Wars thirty years ago that saw the fall of Francia, to spying missions during the Klatsky Skirmishes, finally, to the Head of Intelligence of the Mid-East Alliance.

"(Kor-General.)" His adjutant entered the room, "(I have a telegram from our spies in Liberio.)"

He inhaled again, waving for the adjutant to continue.

"(Colossal and Jaw captured PIO. Cart Titan Armor Unit KIA, thus incapacitated.)"

Nishte coughed, "(The Jaws and Colossal were captured during the Paradis Island Operation? And the Cart Titan lost the Baron of Steel?)" His mind whirred, the closest Marleyan forces to them was the 9th Home Army. Meanwhile, the Olturka had two Armies ready to launch an assault into Northern Europa. With the Himalan Raj and Astagan Empire contributed an army each, with the smaller nations contributing a single combined army of their own.

"(Call Büyük General Izzet Ahmed and the Or-Generals. We have much to discuss.)"

The Warriors were finally allowed to return home, Ensigns would be quietly dispatched to the Galliard and Hoover families about the fate of their relatives. However, the information was to be kept suppressed.

The Warriors undertook the long walk to the Internment Zone.

"Now that we're back it all seems so…gray." Evangelica sighed.

Reiner nodded. "Or maybe we're just seeing things that way." Reiner told her,

"Spare me the philosophy." Annie nodded, and Evangelica chuckled.

"It's you guys!" An aged PSA guard came up to them,

"Nice to see you Sergeant Killen." Evangelica waved, "I'm surprised you haven't kicked the bucket yet."

"I don't plan on doing that for a while yet." His eyes narrowed, "I don't see Marcel or Bertholdt,"

Evangelica didn't respond, and he came to an understanding. "I see." The guard nodded, "I'm sorry."

"They died honorably." Pieck placed a hand on Evangelica's shoulder, reassuring her more than Killing.

"I bet they did."

They entered the Internment Zone in silence.

"I'm home!" Reiner called out,

"Reiner…!" His mother came at him and gave him a relieved hug. "When…when did you get back?"

"A few hours ago, I would've come here immediately but there was a briefing."

"I understand."

"Aunt Karina?" A brown haired girl came down the steps,

"Ah, Gabi!" Karina tucked the girl under her arm, "You remember your cousin Reiner yes?"

Her eyes widened, despite Gabi being only three when he left for Paradis, she could never forget how Reiner used to play with her. And her few memories only gained more detail as she was told about all his accomplishments as a Warrior of Marley…

"Cousin Reiner!" Gabi ran to him, and hugged him.

"Hey Gabi!" Reiner rubbed her on the head, much to her delight.

"I heard about everything you did! I want to be just like you! That's why I'mma apply for the Warrior Unit!"

Reiner gasped, and looked up at Karina, expecting her to chide her for expressing such a wish. Instead, all he saw was delight.

"How wonderful, I bet you'll even get to inherit Reiner's armor!"

"My…armor?" Reiner said, the words thick on his throat. 'The same Armor that has charged into countless battlefields. Murdered millions. And now Gabi is going to inherit it?'

How fate was cruel.

"Reiner, I've made dinner, why don't you come and eat?"

"So. Reiner, how have you been?" His grandfather asked,

How have you been. As if he'd merely left for vacation, and hadn't spent the past five years becoming a mass-murderer and betraying every friend he'd ever made.

"Fine." He said simply, 'You know. Just breaking Wall Maria, causing one of the largest genocides in the past 100 years. Nothing unusual. All in a day's work.' He thought sarcastically.

"I see…" His grandfather nodded,

"I heard the Mid-East is making moves against Echart." His own aunt, Katrina, interjected.

"Keh, the Mid-Easterners. A bunch of desert rats." His uncle scoffed , "No match for the Marleyan Army."

"Hey, speaking of Army, tell us, what was it like on the Island?" Gabi leaned over the table to Reiner, and everyone fell silent.

"Gabi…that's classified!" Her mother Katrina hissed harshly,

"No it's alright…" Reiner said, "I can tell you some things." He inhaled, and braced himself to tell lies.

"They were devils on that island. Once, there was a time when I was training with their military, and a girl offered the Kommandant half a potato, but instead, rather than half, it was only a third." He said it as if it was the most evil thing in the world, and they hung on his every word. They needed someone - something to direct their hatred at.

Someone to blame aside from the guards at the gates, the cruel recruitment officers who dragged eight-year old children away from their families to become soldiers. The government who treated them as weapons and livestock.

"Oh…I'm so sorry Reiner, it must've been so difficult." Karina offered her pity,

A horribly misplaced pity.

"Annie!" The door opened, Heron Leonhart swept the girl behind her up in a hug, and Annie - in a rare display of affection - hugged her father passionately.

"You did come back!" He cried, and Annie nodded tearfully. "Come in, you need to eat!"

"Pieck!" Her father wrapped her in a hug.

"Father…" Pieck hugged him, "I trust you've been taking your medications while I was gone?"

"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't." He smiled,

She smiled, and followed her father inside.

Evangelica slid a few dozen Marleyan dakars to the receptionist, who nodded before handing her a fancy looking room key.

She straightened out her armband, unlike the rest of her family, she chose to wear the Eldian armband with pride. As if to say - "I'm not just a pretty face".

She headed up to her room, and collapsed on her bed, despite it being high quality sheets, she couldn't sleep.

"You're so beautiful." A disembodied voice behind her whispered, she whirled around, expecting to find Ambros smiling at her as he had years before.

She sat up, her legs dangling out, and began to cry.

If Ambros was with her, she'd have some semblance of strength, something to keep her from falling apart, or at least have a shoulder to cry on.

Instead, she was here, back to living her life alone. Bouncing from hotel room to hotel room, receiving uneased stares from the high society she played the role of prodigal daughter for.

But…what else could she do? This was the life she was born with, as a Tybur…

She could never be free.

Suddenly, a knock came on the door to her suite.

"Ms. Tybur, there's someone…in the lobby for you."

Evangelica wiped her tears, and made sure there were no leaks of her struggle in her face.

She turned to the door, and speaking as regally as possible, stated: "I'll be right there."

Evangelica swept down the stairs, where her family was waiting.

"Evangelica." Her mother - Elisa Tybur - fluttered over to her, wrapping her in a quick hug Evangelica returned.

An eight year old girl came and ran over to her, and when she looked up with shining eyes and a bright smile complemented with golden hair she instantly knew-

"Fine!" She squealed with delight, lifting the girl up. "Oh how my sister has grown!"

"Evie!" The girl cried, hugging her neck. "I've missed you so much!"

Evangelica smiled, still holding Evie, she turned to her father.

"Hi Father." Evangelica nodded respectfully.

"Evangelica." They didn't hug, her father never hugged her, at least that she could remember. They instead shared a warm handshake.

"I'm glad you're back." Wilhelm Tybur told her,

"I'm glad to be back." Evangelica told him,

"Pleasantries can wait, there are a few people I want you to meet."

Evangelica raised an eyebrow, but suddenly, Seira Penzak - the latest in a long line of servants for the Tyburs - walked in, carrying one child in her arms.

"Is that her? Big sister?" One of the four children said, a boy.

"Be nice! Your sister has been fighting the devils since before you were born!"

Evangelica turned to him, and Wilhelm smiled. "In order from left to right - Alois, Bruno, Rico, and Zara. The newest Tyburs."

Evangelica smiled, and kneeled before Alois. "Do you know who I am."

He turned his body nervously as he spoke, "Evangelica Tybur, my big sister."

She smiled, kneeling before him "For you, it's just big sis. You'll be getting to know me as well now."

The boy beamed as the other three children crowded her.

"Evie!" Zara hugged her, quickly adopting her nickname.

'So cute…' Evangelica hugged the children, even if it was just for a moment. She could be Evangelica again.

"She's grown. Hasn't she?" Elisa noted,

"Yes." Willy nodded, he looked saddened. "She's grown up. And I haven't been there for her once."

"It's not your fault."

"She's suffering, Elisa." Willy said, "She may not think we know, but I do. She's suffering because of the curse of the Warhammer. Not just the limit on her life, but the memories. The lie we've maintained for one hundred years."

Elisa placed his hand on hers, "Your relationship is not unrepairable." She assures him, "Our daughter has matured. She isn't gone."

'Daughter…' Willy looked out the window.

Three days later...October 5th, Pokolova Internment Zone

A white-haired woman looked out the window.

"Mama…" A girl came up to her, "...are you thinking about Papa?"

"Yes, dear." The woman lifted the little girl up onto her lap, "I'm thinking about papa."

"You've never told me about him." The girl told her,

"Soon, little feuerfox. Soon." She rubbed the girl on the head. 'One day…my fire fox. One day.'

The woman stood, a quiet dignity carried by royalty. "Right now, you need to rest. You should be asleep!"

The eight year old nodded, yawning.

The mother led her daughter to her bed, tucking her in, she began to sing.

"Little boy bunny never had to worry,

He had little girl fox and they were never in a hurry

Then one day the witches came

And tried to snatch their freedom away

Little girl fox tucked him away and gave him a kiss:

'Stay right here I'll handle this.'

Snarling and snapping she went out to fight

To protect the one with which she felt so right

The witches came with the devil in tow

And he prepared to deal her a great mighty blow

But her determination shone so bright

Her fur caught fire and gave them a fright

The witches and devil were all burned away

And only little girl fox remained…"

She quietly finished singing, and the girl was fast asleep, straightening the girls similar white hair, she headed downstairs.

Where she suddenly heard knocking.

"Yes? Who is it?" She called,

"Kikiva!" The man called, "Hurry, there's no time!"

The urgency in his voice flew her to the door.

"What is it?" She asked, already fearing the dreaded words.

The man was pale, and only one word fell out of his mouth.

"Aktion."

A/N: And so it begins.

I don't want to spoil anything. But I'm just going to say that what happens next is going to be...kind of dark, But important. Not only because we're introduced to a major character, but also because it shows the darker side of the Marleyan regime.

Just a hint - Aktion was the codename for several mass-deportations/executions committed in Poland and other Nazi-occupied territories during WWII primarily targeting Jews.

With that, I think you know where this is going.
