As she finally began to come to, her mouth felt dry and her whole body felt like a dead weight, Frisk tried to remember what had happened before her seizure, she could recall feeling really hot and thirsty but apart from that she couldn't remember anything else. Groaning, she held her hand to her hand to her head and slowly sat up just as she heard a giggle behind her.
"Well, it's nice to see that you're finally awake dearie" Frisk looked around to see none other than Muffet approaching her and that's when it all came back to her, she remembered them telling her that they were going to use her in their products and terrified sob escaped from the little girl's mouth.
"P..Please don't eat me" she sobbed but Muffet just chuckled and walked over tot he child who crawled back in fear "please, I just wanna go home."
"Oh you silly goose, I'm not going to eat you, well not now at least" she replied "you see, shortly after you blacked out, we received a telegram from the ruins, stating that you never harmed any spiders in the underground, so I had my spiders untie you and then waited for you to wake up" she examined Frisk closer "and I must say you do look rather unwell, well I'm not surprised with the heat in this place, also when you collapsed, you started shaking, like you were having some kind of fit." Frisk nodded weakly and laid back down, her body was slowly starting to feel exhausted from the amount of seizures she had down here that they were starting to take it's toll on her small body.
"E..Epilepsy" she rasped, her mouth still feeling dry from the heat.
"What was that dearie?" Muffet asked before grabbing a nearby jug, offering it to to child " here have a drink, you sound dehydrated" Frisk weakly shook her head and stated that she didn't have any money " oh dearie, don't be so silly, it's on the house, now drink up, it'll make you feel better." Feeling extremely thirsty, Frisk grabbed the jug and slowly began to drink what she assumed to be spider cider, it felt so refreshing that the dryness in her mouth slowly began to ease off and once she had finished, Frisk handed the Jug back to Muffet, the child laid back down, her body still feeling weak and exhausted.
" I have Epilepsy" Frisk said again, feeling able to speak a bit more now that her mouth wasn't dry "that's why I was shaking when I blacked out, I think it was brought on by the heat." Muffet looked at the child in confusion and asked what exactly her condition was, so Frisk explained to Muffet about her condition as best as she can, the little girl still felt tired and weak, but she still felt determined, determined to get out of this place and get home.
"I have to go, I need to get back home" Frisk murmured, attempting to stand up, only for Muffet to stop her "Please, let me go."
"No dearie, you need to rest and gain back your strength" the spider girl implied "wait a couple of days and you should be good to go." So during the next couple of days, Frisk spend her time in Muffet's parlour, recovering from her heatstroke with Muffet insisting that she kept drinking some spider cider to keep her hydrated and the child slowly began to feel a little more well enough to proceed with her journey, yet her body still felt tired from the amount of seizures, but luckily, now that she had the anti seizure pills that Alphys had given her, hopefully she won't be having them so frequently.
After a couple of days had passed, Frisk felt well enough to leave and proceed with her journey to get back home, however, she didn't leave without thanking Muffet for all that she had done for her.
"Oh it's my pleasure dearie" Muffet giggled "I know we did get off to a rocky start during our first meeting but once I found out that you were a good person, I had to make it up to you after I was about to use you for an ingredient for my products ahuhuhu, well I guess you better run along now dearie and do be careful."
"I will" Frisk replied before bidding one final goodbye to Muffet as she proceeded into the next area.
Meanwhile, back on the surface, Frisk's parents sat in the interview room at the Police station, it had been a few days now since their daughter had disappeared and ever since reporting her disappearance, the Police, people from the neighbourhood and even themselves had spent the last few days searching for Frisk but there was no sign of the little girl and her parents had started to fear the worst, did someone snatch her whilst she went off exploring that day they went on their picnic, did she collapse somewhere and become injured, they even had specially trained divers searching the river in case she had a seizure and fell in there, but despite all their best search efforts, no one was able to find the little girl and after a few days since reporting their daughter going missing, they got a call from the Police station asking them to come down and now here they were, sitting in the dimly lit interview room.
"I can't believe you're saying this" Frisk's Dad said in frustration as her Mother sat with her face in her hands, clearly sobbing "we already told you what happened, she went off exploring and didn't come back, we waited for hours and hours but she didn't come back, this isn't out fault."
"Why aren't you even out there looking for her?" Frisk's mother sobbed hysterically "our baby is out there somewhere, she's vulnerable and she needs her medication, why aren't you out there looking for her, why are you interrogating us, we already told you what had happened, she went missing, we never did anything to her." The Police officer sighed and leaned back in his chair as Frisk's mother buried her face in her hands again.
"Now look, the sooner you answer my question, the sooner we can find established what happened and I guess it must be pretty frustrating, having a child with a medical condition that you thought it would be best to end her suffering" he implied as Frisk's father shook his head.
"You're wrong, we love our Daughter and we would never do anything to hurt her, you got to believe us" he begged, but the Police officer sighed and leaned forward across the desk.
"Now, I'm going to ask you one more time and I want you answer me truthfully...did you kill your Daughter?"
