A/N: Time for a Party! I am also switching to present tense since that's what the book is written in and I'm losing my mind trying to change it.

Tris' POV

I push my food around on my plate in front of me, not having much of an apatite. I shouldn't have pushed Eric, at the time it seemed like what I needed to do but now... He turned into Marcus and I started to shut down. Now I can't stop thinking of the similarities between Marcus and Eric. Then there's Four, I know he's Tobias, he looked far to similar for him not to be. I recognized him the moment I laid eyes on him. At first I was relieved, someone who could understand my pain. Then he yelled at Christina, and I saw Marcus telling me to shut up. He pointed a gun at Peter, not that I liked Peter at all, but he seemed to be so similar to his father in those moments. But he'd given me that sauce, which was nice, and he seemed to care after my fight. The rest of the time he was cold and intimidating, but it was unlike his father. I couldn't make heads or tales of it. In case he did end up like his father, I'm not going to tell him my history, until I know he's safe.

"You guys are still coming to the party tonight right?" Uriah breaks in to my thoughts.

"The Party! I almost forgot come on Tris! We need new outfits." Of course Christina wants to go shopping. Don't get me wrong, I want new clothing, but I dreaded the trying on clothes part. I don't know how I'm going to hide my scars and bruises in Dauntless clothing. Some of them I might be able to pass off as from my fight today, but others are obviously not new or nowhere near where Eric ever hit me. But I follow behind her as she drags me to the shops.

Christina immediately starts pulling clothes off hangers, for me or for her I'm not sure. "Ground rules, long sleeves, no back exposure, and no midriff exposure." I state.

"Ugh," she groans, "Don't be such a stiff! We are at least getting you a short sleeve. We're going to be at a party. You'll be burning in a long sleeve." I'm about to object when I see something that catches my eyes. They look like bracelets, but they are wider than any bracelet I've ever seen. Black, made of leather, they seem to have a metal clasp and a buckle on the front. I hold them up to my wrist, they are the perfect size to cover what I need.

"Okay, fine I'll get a short sleeve shirt as long as I can get these to go with it," I say smiling as I show her.

She squeals in joy, "so THAT'S your style! I gotchu! You are going to look stunning!" She starts switching out some of the clothes in her arms for different clothes on the rack. Time seems to go by quickly as I watch her try on her clothes and give my opinions. Then it's my turn, she hands me a pile of clothing. First I try on the dress. It has a deep red under color, with intricate black lace all over. It has long sleeves and goes down past my knees, while having a wide sweet heart neckline. It accentuates my average breasts making them seem larger, along with my tiny waist. I never knew that I actually had some curves under the frumpy Abnegation clothes.

"Oh my god! You look amazing! You are getting that dress, no buts!" I laugh at her insistence. I don't want to argue, I really like the dress. I go back to try the other outfit, a black tank top with a red, ripped, crop top over it. Then there's the button up over shirt that had its sleeves rolled up past the elbow. I don't button up the shirt because I'm not sure if I'm supposed to. It covers up the outfit if I do. Then we have the mildly ripped, grey jeans with some ankle high red shoes. I think Christina called them high-tops. Finally I put the cuffs on and I have to admit I really like the outfit. It screams dauntless without being revealing. I smile.

I come out to show Christina, she squeals again. It doesn't hurt my ears this time, so that's something. "That is definitely your look! Wait, just a minute, it's missing something." I wonder what it could possibly be missing as she walks over to a rotating stand of accessories. She grabs something from the stand and comes back. Walking behind me she starts to put my hair up into a neat ponytail with what looks like a chopstick sticking out. "It's a knife, plus your hair up makes the outfit really pop!" I look in the mirror and I feel like I'm looking at a different person. I hug Christina, it's perfect. We check out and head over to Uriah's brother's apartment.

Inside we can hear music and people talking. A taller Uriah opens the door, this must be Zeke. "Welcome! You are the last to arrive I think." I look around as we walk in. Thankfully, not all of the initiates made it today. I can see that Peter and Molly are here, they seem to be arguing. Looks like Will is still in the infirmary, along with Drew and Myra. I see Edward kind of standing alone.

"Glad you guys finally made it," says Al as he approaches us. "I was thinking of leaving." I see Molly doing exactly that as she pushes past us.

"May I have your attention please!" Shouts Zeke from atop a chair. "Now that everyone is here, it's time to kick off the games! First we'll start with a little never have I ever to get everyone adequately drunk for our next game Candor or Dauntless! Rules are simple! Some says something they've never done, if you've done it you drink." Everyone is handed a red plastic cup, as we form a circle to sit in, some are in chairs, on the couch, or on the floor. Various bottles of alcohol are placed in the center. "Let's start by introducing ourselves. I am Zeke." He then looked at the girl next to him.

"I'm Shauna."

Then there's Lauren, Four, Lynn, Marlene, Uriah, Al, Christina, Me, Edward, and Peter.

"Uriah, start us off!"

"I got this guys! Never have I ever TRANSFERRED!" Almost everyone rolls their eyes as the transfers drink, along with Lauren and Four. The liquid tastes bitter, and then I feel some heat in the back of my throat. How do people drink bottles of the stuff? I quietly wonder where Lauren transferred from. Most of the initiates look at Four shocked. Next is Al.

"Um, never have I ever, um...had a pet." Christina, Uriah, and Zeke drink.

"My turn! Never have I ever had alcohol before today," says Christina.

"Well, that's a lie if I ever heard one," says Peter.

"Shut it Peter, that doesn't matter." All of the current Dauntless, Peter, and I drink. I can feel every head on me as I look around.

"When has the Abnegation drank?" asks Peter.

"I accidentally got my drink mixed up with a factionless once while I was volunteering," I explain, not the truth, but I wasn't going to tell them the truth. "So never have I ever... pointed a loaded gun at someone's head." I say deliberately targeting Four. He doesn't drink when everyone stares at him.

"Um, Four?"

"It wasn't loaded. I have a clear conscience." It wasn't loaded? He still used intimidation to get us to listen.

"Well, never have I ever had a sibling," Edward continues. The Pedrad brothers, Shauna, Lynn, and I all drink. I'm starting to feel a small buzz, is this why people like alcohol? Peter's next.

"Never have I ever hoarded food," I roll my eyes at Peter's attempt to try to get me to drink. The abnegation don't hoard food. Well, most... I think of Marcus seeming to always have plenty of food. Shockingly Zeke and Uriah both drink.

"I knew you were hoarding the Dauntless Cake!" Yells Lynn. Peter must be bored as he stands and leaves as everyone else laughs.

"Never have I ever been beaten in a fight!" Proclaims Zeke loudly. Shauna, Lynn, Lauren, and Four all give him a look. "During training..." Zeke adds on. Christina, Marlene, Shauna, Lauren and I drink. We've only had our one fight so far, which all the male initiates in the room won.

"Never have I ever...swung from the chandelier completely nude." Shauna smiles at Zeke.

"Hey that is not fair!" Zeke drinks. Lauren's up and she smiles maniacally.

"Never have I ever had sex." I debated for a minute of what exactly she considered 'sex' in this context. I don't mean that I don't know what sex is. I know what it is, but I just wonder where the line is drawn as when it's considered sex. Your erudite is showing, I think to myself. Is this what alcohol does to me? I guess it's up to the interpreter as I watch as half the room drinks. The people who don't are Lauren, Four, Al, Marlene, Lynn and I.

Now it's Four's turn. "Never have I ever had more than four fears," he says smirking. The older Dauntless groan in unison, as the initiates all stare confused.

"They don't even know their fear numbers!" says Zeke as Shauna and Lauren drink. He proceeds to drink as well.

"Consider this payback," he smiled. Payback for what?

"Never have I ever been scared of an imaginary person." These are starting to feel very targeted. Uriah drinks. We look at him for an explanation.

"What 'he sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake.' Does that not scream threatening stalker to anyone else?!" Everyone seems to laugh, but I don't understand.

"Um can someone please explain?" I ask. Everyone quiets and stares at me. Four gives me a knowing look like he was sorry for me.

"You mean you don't know who Santa is?" asks Uriah. I shake my head. "So you've never celebrated Christmas?" I remember hearing the name of the holiday in my factions history class in the culture section, but I don't remember anything else. I shake my head again. Everyone seems to give an exaggerated gasp!

"How cruel are the Abnegation?! I thought they would be all over the holiday considering it is an entire holiday dedicated to giving!"

"The Abnegation... consider it Selfish to request... or accept gifts though," Edward said through slurred words.

"Haven't you only had to drink twice," Al asks.

"Yeah... but no one... said I couldn't drink ...in between." He slurred his words again.

"It's probably best if you go back to the dorm," says Instructor Four.

"I'll take him," offers Al. I get the feeling he's not really enjoying the game. Al helps Edward lean onto his shoulder before walking out with him.

Finally it's Marlene's turn, "Never have I ever skipped school." Uriah, Zeke, Shauna, Lynn, Lauren, Four, Chris, and I drink.

"You are just not the ordinary stiff, are you? Skipping school, drinking, who knows what else!" says Zeke, thoroughly drunk at this point. I guess that's all of us now that I think of it. I'm starting to feel real light headed, but I guess that's the point.

A/N I tried to get all of the party into one chapter but apparently it took way to long and was too long so I have split it. So you guys get 2 chapters in one day for the long wait.
