Naruto had heard of the invasion of the Eastern US the moment he boarded the submarine. Thankfully, his wife, Hinata, who was also Japanese-American, lived in San Francisco with their two young children. Naruto just hoped that they were okay amidst the current military crisis, even though they were on the other side of the United States.

His next mission was to help secure a prisoner, known only as 627, from a gulag in Russia, who allegedly is hated by Makarov (their current target) more than anyone.

Naruto, Soap, Ghost, and Roach were aboard the USS Chicago, riding inside a deep-water transportations (A/N: idk what they're called). They had rode underneath their target: an oil rig that is being used by the Russians as a SAM site. They made it to the insertion point up to the lowest platform, after Soap and Roach each killed a guard.

"Alright, let's get these hostages out of here, and those SAMs secured."

I still think it's pretty fucked that the Russians are using oil workers as human shields, as if it's not a goddamn war crime, Naruto thought.

They made it to an upper platform, where the first batch of hostages were located.

Foxhound (that's Naruto's codename), Roach, and others stacked up behind one door, and Ghost and MacTavish on the other.

"Are you two ready?" MacTavish asked Roach and Naruto.

"Ready when you are." Said Naruto.

"Alright, place your charges on the door." They did so and all of them shot and killed the hostiles that were watching the hostages. The latter were then secured.

They soon did the same thing upstairs, only they caught the attention of the Russians occupying the rig.

"Shit," Naruto thought aloud, after hearing the radio chatter.

"Sounds like we'll soon have some company." Said Capt. MacTavish. "Foxhound, Roach, place some C4 on those bodies." The two of them did so, and took cover behind an "elevated position", as the captain ordered. The C4 was soon detonated, and the whole rig was on high alert.

They had fought their way through the rest of the Russian forces (Naruto even shot through an enemy soldier's head with his M4A1 rifle), even making their way through smoke screens, and secured the rest of the hostages. The team then moved onto the Russian gulag, where the rumored Prisoner 627 is located.

(A/N: I know that it's been a good while, and that this one was a little shorter than usual. But then again, a lot of stuff I write on here is like that, and I hope you enjoyed this anyways
