Now with the last chapter/my first original chapter for the fic is now done I now going to start doing episodes in my own order now and I already got many ideas how to do things.

I was looking forward to doing my own fully setup so I am happy to start that now. Hope you all will enjoy it all like you all have done for my previous chapters.

And sorry for the long silence of this fic, I had a pretty bad cold and got very busy with work and then my computer's graphics card's fan started acting up which I needed to replace so my computer's graphics card didn't risk of overheating, but all good now.

I do not own Thomas the Tank/Thomas & Friends or I would have kept them in their models forms.

A few months had passed since Edward told his fellow drivers about the history of the Sodor Railways and since than the drivers found themselves more inspired to work harder after learning about the history of the Railway they worked on.

During those months, the fame of Sodor really skyrocketed as more people came to live on the island and more people wanted to use the trains of the 'haven' for Steam Engines. Sir Topham Hatt had used the money gotten from here to get some more passenger coaches seeing the Orange Coaches, Green Express Coaches and Old Coaches along with Toby's Coach wasn't enough to keep up with so many more passengers. The Engine Drivers were glad he did that seeing they felt pressured to try to get the Coaches they using done and get them to someone else to use in time too many times.

He had ordered three Red Coaches for local trains usage and a few more Express Coaches. One of them were longer versions of the Green Express Coaches which made them have the name the Long Greens and the original ones be called the Short Greens. Another longer Express Coaches the looked like the Long Greens but they had white instead of the beige colouring to them thus they were called the Long Whites. Another set of Long Express Coaches that had the white colouring of the Long Whites, but instead of the green stripe it had red instead and there were Shorter Express Coaches of it too that had the red stripe, but had the beige colouring thus giving them the names of Long Red and Short Reds.

These extra coaches helped out a lot with dealing with increase of passengers and Sir Topham Hatt had more Express runs scheduled assigning Gordon to handle the Long Greens, James the Long Whites and Henry the Long Reds. The Short Reds and the Old Coaches were assigned to Edward's Branchline while the rest of the Orange Coaches were assigned to Thomas's branchline and the Short Greens and the Red Coaches were assigned to local train runs.

These extra coaches did help out with the increase of passengers, but put a lot of work on Percy with his duties as Station Pilot at Knapford had to make sure the right trains were given to the right engines. Gordon, Henry and James had gotten bossy over him acting like they were in charge of him which poor Percy had to deal with constantly.

However, one day he was called into Sir Topham Hatt's office which was surprised about and was curious what he needed of him.

"Good morning Percy you looked tired." Sir Topham Hatt greeted his employee with that warm smile of him and Percy smiled back tiredly. "All the work at Knapford has really been wearing them out and it doesn't help that those three have not made it easier, but bossing me around too."

"Yes I heard about their recent behaviour as of late and I am planning to address it soon, but that is not the reason why I called you Percy. As you probably heard of I am planning to reopen the old Knapford Harbour and I am going through with it along with re-opening the line to it. I am reassigning you to fully work on Thomas's branchline now and your first job is to help repair the harbour." Sir Topham Hatt said finally confirming the rumour of him reopening the old Knapford that was the main harbour for until the North-Western Railway was formed and the current Knapford was built leaving the old one to fall apart. Percy was glad to hear that the 'Old Harbour' was getting used again seeing it seemed like a waste just leaving it there seeing Knapford has had some troubles of getting too busy handling too much cargo & goods coming in & out of it so having all goods & cargo from the Fraquhar branchline going to this other Harbour should help take the pressure off Knapford Harbour.

"But wait who is going to handle Pilot duties at Knapford?" Percy asked realising that and Sir Topham Hatt smiled. "Already got that sorted. I hired a new Engine Driver recently and he brought his own Engine with him. He will handle pilot duties at Knapford from now on. He should arriving to Sodor soon and before you head off to join Thomas & Toby I want you to show him around with jobs at Knapford." He answered his employee who nods before leaving to get things ready and Percy was now interested in hearing that there was a new engine driver on the railway with them now.

The next day at Knapford Sir Topham Hatt stood on the platform waiting for his new employee and soon a Green Panner Tank Engine pulls up to the station and a man with well-kept black hair and wore green overhauls hopped out of the engine's cab.

"Hello there, you must be Montague from the Great Western railway correct?"

"Yes I am sir, but everyone calls me Duck because of my engine's so called 'waddle'. I don't think she actually waddles sir, but I like Duck more than Montague sir." Duck spoke with a professional tone of voice and had a kind smile on his face.

"Very well than Duck it is then and you're engine will be branded as Number 8 from now on too. I want you to go meet Percy and he will show what is to be done at Knapford as Station Pilot." Sir Topham Hatt told his new employee he could already tell was a hard worker and had a good attitude to him making like him already.

Duck nods and not long after found Percy who liked Duck immediately despite his professional way of speaking he was easy to get along with and was a hard worker.

The three Tender Engine drivers heard of the new tank engine driver and made sure to check him out.

"He seems like a simple person." James grinned when watching the new driver do the work.

"What was his name again Duck?" Gordon asked grinning too at that while Henry shook his head, but went along with their antics.

"We will have some fun and boss him around." James said to Gordon who chuckled before hooking up to the Long Green express to head off, but as he did he passed by Duck and as he did he made some 'quacking' noises. Duck looked over with a raised brow and Gordon let off some steam at that time which blew over Duck's engine.

Duck gave no reaction to it and Percy who had seen it all came marching over furious. "Sorry about that those three can be a real pain."

"Not it's so bad. They will grow out of it. Do they do it to you too?" Duck replied back in his still professional tone of voice as he was not bothered by the act towards at all. "Yes they do! Gordon and James are the worse of it while Henry isn't too bad, but he still goes along with those two's…bullying." Percy explained angrily as he was having enough of those three's antics.

"Right! We sort this out once and for all." Duck said with a serious tone of voice and Percy was curious in what Duck had planned.

Later on as the day's work was done and the sun was setting, Sir Topham Hatt was sitting in his office enjoying a nice warm cup of tea as he was reading over some reports on busy on his railway. He also had a proposal for the company that ran the Skarloey Railway and the Mid Sodor Railway where he is offering to buy the two railways to help them with their recent financial troubles. He was hoping they would see he was truly here to help as he love Steam Engines and didn't want another company to lose to the rise of Diesels engines.

His train, no pun intended, of thought was suddenly interrupted by loud whistling and it made him jump spilling his tea. He groaned annoyed before hearing now loud steam hissing and that made him get up to look out his office window towards the Knapford Sheds.

He saw Gordon, Henry and James were stopped right before the turntables and Duck had his engine on the turntables with Percy's right behind his. From all the shouting from Gordon, James and Herny, Sir Topham Hatt could tell this was going to be a trouble to handle.

The three tender engine drivers were shouting at the two tank engine drivers loudly and angrily when Sir Topham Hatt arrived to the scene.

"Quiet!" He suddenly shouts very loudly and all drivers went instantly quiet as they looked at him as he stood there looking very cross. "Now one of you explain what is going on?" He asked slowly with a big scowl on his face.

"They won't let us put our engines away!" Gordon called out and Sir Topham looked at him before looking over to Duck who looked on calmly. "Duck explain this."

"Beg pardon sir, but I'm a Great Western engine. We do our work without fuss. But begging your pardon sir, Percy and I would be glad if you would inform these, um... engine drivers, that we only take orders from you." Duck calmly stated and he simply smiled at how the three drivers start shouting about how he should know his place and all that.

"Silence!" Sir Topham Hatt shouts silencing all voices and looked at Duck and Percy firmly. "Duck and Percy, I am please with your work, but not this behaviour. If you have a problem you come to me to address it and not carry on in this way." He said sternly to the two where Percy looked on sadly while Duck still had a calm look while the other three chuckled…only for Sir Topham Hatt's stern glare to fall on them. "As for you lot! You caused his disturbance! Duck is right, this is my railway and I give the orders. Not you. Do I need to have you 'locked up' again?" He said angrily to the three tender engine drivers and with that all three immediately felt ashamedness for their behaviour.

Since than Gordon, Henry and James got back in line as they wisely realised the error of their ways and didn't care try to act like they were in charge again.

Percy was sent off to work on Thomas's Branchline which he enjoyed greatly.

Duck handled all the station pilot duties, something he had handle expertly.

Again sorry for the long delay

Hope you all enjoyed
