Hey guys! I know it's been a while... but I couldn't get off of the radar long enough to start writing. Happy New Years! Good bye to 2020, the worst year of my life! I want to thank all of you, cause without people reading this, I wouldn't be encouraged to write, so thank you all so much! Here's the story, hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I do not own PJO or HP and any of the characters, except for the OCs (which I don't have any)
Percy POV
As we walked in, we heard a woman screaming, "Filthy Mud Bloods, half-breeds, blood-traitors!"
She sure sounds rude. It looked clean, but old, maybe ancient. Wow I'm actually becoming smart, using big words like that and all! There was some arguing going on in the kitchen, about not being able to trust someone and all. Wonder what that's about.
The kind redheaded woman came in again, and she led us to our bedrooms. "I'm Molly Weasley, you can call me Molly. What are your names? I don't believe you told me earlier." she said as she led us up.
"I'm Annabeth, and this is-" Annabeth started, until I interrupted.
"I'm Percy Jackson, at your service!" I said cheerfully. I could tell I annoyed Annabeth by interrupting, but I smiled anyways, and she settled with just sighing.
"Well, Annabeth and Percy-" her voice cracked, and I could tell something was wrong with the name, "Welcome to 12 Grimmauld Place. Your rooms are up there."
She pointed at the 2 rooms furthest down the hall, "You can call me Perseus," I said as we left. I couldn't have her crying every time she said my name, now could I, "But you have special priveleges, everybody else calls me Percy."
She gave me a sad smile, and I walked away. I wanted to ask, but I had a feeling that it wasn't something that she wanted to talk about. I caught up to Annabeth, and we opened the door to the room they gave us.
Wait, we weren't going to stay in the same room! I can sleep without Annabeth for one night, but I still have nightmares about our escape from Tartarus. I walked in and Harry and Ron were already there.
"Hi!" I said. I didn't know why they didn't like me, but I was determined to make them like me. Harry looked at me with a questioning expression.
"Mrs. Weasley sent me up here. Where do I sleep?" I asked.
"Wait, she sent you to our room?" Ron asked.
"Yeah, is there a problem? I could always sleep somewhere else, I'm kind of used to sleeping on floors and all." I said. Hey, it is true, I slept in Tartarus, I can sleep anywhere.
"No, no, it's okay. You can sleep over there." Ron pointed to an empty bed.
I went into the bathroom and changed into some more comfy clothes. Once I came out, I jumped onto the bed, and fell asleep instantly. I had some awesome dreams about blue cookies. It's really a first, considering usually I'm dreaming about what's going to happen to someone, or what plans some evil ancient god has.
Annabeth's POV
I opened the door to the room that Mrs. Weasley sent me to and saw 2 other girls sitting on their beds. There was Hermione and another girl with red hair and freckles, a lot like Ron! I'd bet that they were siblings.
"Hi, Annabeth! Mrs. Weasley told me that you were going to be coming here. Feel free to unpack and all, we were all just about to go to bed."
"Okay, I'll just go change. Is there a bathroom in here?" I asked. Hermione just pointed to a door, already absorbed in her book. I think I might get along with her well! I quickly changed and slept on the open bed. I was kind of worried I would end up screaming in a nightmare, but I tried to think of happier things. I slowly fell asleep...
I woke up early, even with the jetlag and went downstairs. Usually at this time, I would go for a jog, but considering the fact that I didn't know about anything around me, I decided to go downstairs. Mrs. Weasley was already up, along with almost everyone. I checked my phone again, and realized it was still on New York time. I changed it to England, and put my phone offline. Even in a magical world, there was always a chance of monsters.
I walked down and everybody said hi, and how ya doing, but that was really it. I sat down at the table where everyone was eating, and got a pancake. They weren't blue. That meant that Percy would have a problem.
"Umm, Mrs. Weasley, is there any way to make this pancake blue?" I asked.
"Yes, but why?" she replied, obviously confused.
"Oh, I won't need them blue, but Percy kind of has a thing, he won't eat pancakes or cookies if they aren't blue. It's a thing from his childhood." I explained, so that she wouldn't think we were damaged in the head. But I guess that wouldn't matter, since having blue food was crazy, even if it was a reminder of home.
"Oh, no problem, dear. It won't take more than a wave of a wand, just tell Perseus to come on down." Mrs. Weasley said.
I got up as soon as I finished the pancake I was eating and ran back upstairs, "Percy!" He didn't wake up, "PERCY!" Still no response.
I kneeled so that I could whisper in his ear, "Blue pancakes," in a sing-song voice.
He literally jumped out of bed and ran downstairs, then ran back up, and said, "You're not joking are you?"
I laughed, "No, Seaweed Brain, I'm not joking, but you might want to change into some proper clothes," He looked down at himself and realized that he was still wearing his pajamas, and quickly changed, running back downstairs again.
As soon as I got downstairs, he whined, "Annabeth, I don't see any blue pancakes, not even one!" I laughed on the inside, he was so childish.
"Just sit at the table, take a pancake, and close your eyes. If you think of blue pancakes, a blue pancake will appear." I said, and when he closed his eyes, I nodded at Mrs. Weasley. She waved her wand, and apparently said some silent spell, because a second later, the pancake was blue.
Percy gasped and started eating while saying, "I guess... I... really am... a wizard," then he continued eating.
After breakfast, I told him what really happened, and he just laughed. I guess he doesn't really care, as long as he gets his blue pancakes. We asked if there was any big open field or something so that we could do some exercise. We were going to be here a while, and I needed to get in my exercise. Either that or I start studying, and we haven't gotten all our books yet.
"Actually, we were about to go to get everybody's books. You all seemed to have just gotten the letters, so we can go now, and get everything we need to for school. You'll have an unforgettable time there, it's really an amazing place, Hogwarts," Mrs. Weasley said, obviously reliving some old memories, when we asked.
When we heard the name, I was able to control myself. It was funny, but not too much. Percy, on the other hand... well he did keep it in, but a few water pipes broke, and his face kept on twitching. It was amusing to watch.
Hope you guys liked it! I'm really trying, though my updates might take longer from here on out. I'm trying but I have Geometry and Biology along with normal courses, so life's hard. Please review!
Yours Truly,
2Fashionista.
