Chapter 35
Back at the school.
The week Suiryu was out cold, was the sign they needed. The council knew something was wrong. After all, the clone of Sukuna is never in this sorry of a state. "Something must have happened, I swore I did sense the demon sorcerer for but a moment, and yet… like that, it vanished!" one stated.
"Indeed, but also doesn't anyone else feel less heavy? That clone was able to hide his curse energy well, but still enough of it leaked out for us to be made aware of his presence, I don't sense that anymore…" one stated as an evil grin came over his lips. "It's as if the gods are smiling upon us now."
The room shared in the optimism. "Perhaps it's time to clean out the school and start anew. The students are too tainted by the teachings of Satoru Gojo. The demon vessel still lives and now has become a greater threat than before. Fushiguro has been named as the new head of the Zenin clan after the head has passed away, yet the clan is going to be… correcting that shortly. I am surprised Mika Zenin went home as well, despite what awaited her."
"It's a good thing the mother called her home, had it been anyone else, she never would have left. What becomes of her is our of our hands."
"Then it's settled, we will also step up our original plans, and perfect the method. Soon, it won't matter if we obtain new students or not, for we will have the ultimate power within our hands!"
The council agreed with everything that was said, they are going to clean house and ensure no one knows anything about their plot…

What the council didn't know is this.
Rats can find any and every entrance possible. Even if it were no bigger than a coin, they would squeeze themselves in. One ambitious one happened to hear everything in the room, and relayed it all back to it's master, Tanso.
Tanso was with his brothers, he sat in silence, his back to them as every word that was spoken, became temporary engraved on his flesh. As the words appeared, the skin healed over before more information came out.
However, it was all that they needed to know. Tanso turned to the brothers and nodded. His instinct to leave was spot on and it was time to get out before it was too late.
"We have everything ready, do we not?" Choso asked aloud.
The brothers have been packing for some time. Ever since Suiryu took them to the domain he discovered, one preserved by Sukuna himself. Their most precious items have been already taken there, and they were just finishing up on the remaining possessions they have left to move.
Tanso has been working non-stop to achieve this, after all. His familiars do depend on him for curse energy. Not a lot of it, but since he has thousands of them, it can be quite draining on him.
He has endured for the week to move various items. He has even raided the dorms and began to move and 'displace' their possessions as well. Before long, the dorms were rather minimal. Choso had discreetly explained the situation, but everyone understood.
When Suiryu woke, Tanso went into overtime to prepare. They are going to be leaving that day, but first, he had to ensure his brothers are safe. Choso went on ahead with Yuuji. He was still passed out and has yet to wake up. "I will wait for everyone there, Tanso, older brother… please look after us."
He nodded. On his chest he gave him details as to what familiars he has set up and where, at each meeting point they will switch off to ensure they are not being followed or hunted. He knew that he may lose those that he has gathered through the years, but his familiars were aware of his feelings. They know if they are to die, it's not for the sake of glory, but survival.
He felt their thoughts, and was grateful for their loyalty.
Tanso watched on as Choso decided to make his way out. He was the first to leave, and yet, the moment he did. He saw the sorcerers gather and begin to follow him.
"This is going to be difficult…" Sho whispered. "Is everyone prepared?"
They nodded, Junpei appeared rather nervous but took a deep breath. "There's no other choice, we either die here or we die trying to leave if they make such an attempt…" he said offhandedly.
"We're not dying!" Eso snapped back. "We have done so once before, I refuse to do so again. I am not leaving my brothers like that again."
"So, do we divide ourselves?" Junpei asked. "If we do, we will be on our own, but also thin out their numbers against us."
Sho paused but he nodded. "They will send more sorcerers knowing if we are banding together."
Tanso paused, his eyes widened but then, he appeared relieved.
"Tanso?" asked Noranso.
The etching appeared once more. 'I suggest we get going as well.'
There was little time. The brothers nodded and each wished the others good luck and a safe journey.
It's do or die time…
