Y'know, when all the outlets in your room stop working, it's really inconvenient. It really does make writing these chapters harder. But I'll push forward.

I like this episode, just a good old-fashioned alien invasion and the beginning to the League's troubled relationship with the US Government. There's also gonna be a little more revealed about the Anam in this chapter too.

So, WandaVision, eh? I mean, by this point we all know Evan Peters is in it, but man did that come out of left field. Now we just gotta wait 'til next Friday for episode seven. Man, Friday's feel like they're too far off now that there's something to look forward too, huh?

Now to reply to some reviews!

Ultimateben10k: Thanks for the review! And yeah, with Eric around it'd be pretty dumb if they did, the Omnitrix is a broken strong device after all.

Guest: Honestly, I don't read much Punisher, so it doesn't affect me that much, but yeah, current political climate in The US is tense to say the least.

God of the Challenge: Dude, I completely forgot about those guys. Man, that was definitely one of my favorite eps of the original series, definitely something I can remember very clearly.

Collinsjr: Hey, thanks for the kind review, really gives me that push to continue with the story. And I think it's pretty obvious where Eric and Zatanna's relationship is gonna go, this story is inspired by those two after all!

Yukid999: Did you stop reading the chapter near the end? 'Cause I make it clear that the Ultimen only went with Cadmus so the League wouldn't have to deal with the public backlash, but in like an hour Zatanna and Morrigan spirited them away. Cadmus didn't even have enough time to scan their blood and they don't know about the power boost they got.

Raidentensho: Ah, glad to see you again, buddy. Eric's studying magic with Zatanna, Morrigan, and Zatara, but yeah, he'll use instinctual spells that he's heard from Esmeralda as well.

Fpinheiro96: Thanks for your review! And here's what happens next!

Collinsjr: Hey there! This story will go through Justice League Unlimited. Of course we won't see all the episodes, but they'll usually happen either between chapters or at the same time as one you're reading. The next story planned for this universe will be the Victorious spin-off.

Triumphant Fun Fact 1: Eric was originally going to end up in the DCAU during the Thanagarian Invasion, meaning no family, no history, and he'd have met Zatanna and Zatara for the first time then.

Now, on with the story!

Dark Heart

I groan in annoyance as Zatanna continues her exaggerated story of my face at the arcade.

"I swear to God, Eric, your face went from this," she has a smile on her face. "To this!" It then slowly shifts into a blank look.

We enter my house and I turn on the lights as we take off our shoes.

Right now, we just got back from a date to the movie theater. And as we were leaving, we ran into some of her old friends from the Catholic high school she went to. Of course, they chose that time to catch up.

I was more than happy to be in the background, but Zee decided to pull me into the conversation.

And next thing I know, the four of us are in an arcade—me, Zee, her friend, and her other friend, who's the boyfriend to the first.

The three of them spend the entire time catching up, I was just playing arcade games and getting prizes left and right, all of them have even taken up the backseat of my new car.

Zatanna then drags me into the conversation, and I'm polite but curt. Eventually, I get tired, and according to Zee, my face goes blank.

"I should've taken a picture!" Oh, she's still on it.

I turn to look at her with an arched brow. "Seriously? You're still freaking out about this?"

"Babe, it was the funniest thing I've ever seen," she states, putting her hands on my shoulders and looking me straight in the eyes, completely serious.

I narrow my eyes. "Somehow, I doubt that. Hey, think you can bring the prizes in, I don't wanna go back and forth to bring them all in."

Zatanna says a quick spell and the massive number of prizes land on the couches in the living room and cover them entirely. "So, what's gonna happen to them?"

I begin to take off my jacket and head upstairs. "Gonna keep a few, give Esme some, donate the rest."

We enter the master bedroom and I turn to see Zatanna smiling at me. "Y'know, you're a good guy deep down, Eric. You shouldn't hide that side of you so often."

I just shrug and take off my shirt. Once I get to my jeans, I'm pushed over and land face first on my bed. I feel Zatanna's hands then turn me around so I'm laying on my back, she then sits down on me and pulls me into a kiss.

Don't know what this is about, but I'm not complaining.

"Not even gonna ask?" She questions between kisses.

"…What's this about?" I ask as I take off her shirt.

"Well, I know how hard it is for you to not be a jerk. So, when you meet new people and don't make them mad, you get a reward," she takes off her bra and kisses me along the neck. "This is the reward."

I smirk as my hands trail down to take off her pants. "One hell of an incentive."

"At this rate I'll have a great-grandchild to spoil rotten in nine months."

Zatanna and I scream as we leap away from each other. I end up on the other side of the bed and hit my head on the wall as Zatanna lands near the bathroom door. She quickly grabs her bra and puts it on before looking at Abuela Morrigan with a red face.

"Morrigan! What the hell!?" She shouts.

Abuelajust smirks and points her thumb behind her. "I made some dinner. Come down before it gets cold," she then turns around and heads downstairs.

Zatanna and I stare at the door before turning to each other. We slowly get up and get some comfortable clothes to change into.

As we change, Zatanna looks at me. "Y'know, it's great that you're letting your grandma stay with you and all, but it makes some alone time really hard to come by. And I'm not even talking about the little android helper."

"Hello," Silver Bolt greets as he pokes his head into the room before heading downstairs to the kitchen.

"Hey," Zee and I wave. I lean towards her. "I know, but think about it, she can't stay with my family, not with what's happening with her and Dad."

"How're things with them?" She asks.

"It's getting better. Slowly," I admit. "Dad's civil now, instead of hostile, so that's a plus."

Zatanna nods. "Good. Good."

I stop her as we exit my room and head to the stairs. "But speaking of parent-child relationships…"

She looks at me with a blank stare. "Eric…"

"I mean, if you want a better relationship between Dad and Abuela, then you should fix yours with your dad," I continue. "C'mon, Zee, do you really want to be mad at him forever?"

"He was a part of a magic cult that wanted power for power's sake," she states. "And I had to find out from an insane man who happens to have the same name as my boyfriend."

"Yeah, you found out from their point of view," I point out. "Your dad has to tell the truth. And if you want, we could just get Diana to come along, that way he can't lie."

"Okay, I'll talk to him tomorrow. I promise," Zatanna looks at the ground, thoughtful and nods before pouting up at me. "What's wrong Eric? Don't want me to stay in your house? Sleep in the same bed as you?"

I just roll my eyes and pat her head. "Whatever," finally, the two of us head into the kitchen. "Okay, Abuela, we're…here…"

The entire island in the kitchen's covered in food. Pasta, tamales, some homemade pizza, and way too much food to list.

Zatanna and I just stare as Abuela Morrigan pulls us over to two seats at the table. The food then telekinetically flies over to the plates on the table. Which happen to be all of my plates. Jesus. That's gonna be a bitch to clean.

"Okay, well, enjoy!" Abuela Morrigan says.

Zatanna and I share another glance. She then looks at Morrigan. "Uh, here's the thing: I'm vegetarian. Sooo… I'll practice my magic now! Bye!"

A magic hand stops her from getting up. "Wait right there, young lady," Morrigan orders. She utters a spell, and half of the food turns into something for vegetarians. "There we go."

I blink and stare at the food blankly before slowly turning around and looking at my Abuela. "What's up with all of this?"

"What? I can't feed my own grandson and his love?" Abuela asks with an arched brow.

"Well, yes, you can… But this seems like a lot, doesn't it? I mean, even I'd have problems eating all of this," I point out.

She looks a little self-conscious now, which is a really rare occurrence for her. "I just wanted to do my part for my family," she quietly admits. "I've spent far too long away from your father, and I was stupid to expect him to welcome me with open arms. I just hope he'll forgive me eventually."

Out of the corner of my eye, I notice Zatanna look down as she slowly eats her food. I can tell she's in turmoil, she bites her lip and her eyes dart around. Eventually, she sighs and looks at Abuela. "Look, it'll take some time, but things will be better between you and Daniel. He's too good of a guy to hate you for too long. Your husband raised him well."

Morrigan smiles and the two hold hands.

As they do that, I get started on eating my food. Man, this could take some time.

Silver Bolt walks over and sits down next to me. He slowly reaches out for some food and swallows it, surprising us all. He chews the food very thoroughly, once he swallows, his eyes flicker and he nods before turning to Abuela. "This is great. Thank you, Morrigan."

Morrigan blinks in confusion before smiling and reaching out to rub Silver Bolt's head. "You're welcome," she then nods to me. "Definitely saying more than my grandson."

"Thank you, Abuela," I drawl.

"Good," she smiles.

The four of us then spend the rest of the night eating and talking, enjoying each other's company.

Watchtower

"You know, I'm surprised you let this stay for so long," Diana comments as she looks over mine and Victor's shoulders in the science lab.

"I know, I know," I say.

Right now, my left arm's on the table, Victor and I work on the Omnitrix. For the past few months, I've been on the communicator in the earbuds, which aren't my thing, so, we're getting the Omnitrix connected to the communication array of the Watchtower.

"Okay, give me your communicator," Victor says. I pull it out and hand it to him. "Okay, the Omnitrix is capable of shifting, form, right?"

I nod. "Yeah," I press some buttons on the touchpad, which opens up one of the segments on the part of the watch around my wrist. "According to Brainstorm, Grey Matter, and Upgrade, all we've gotta do is put it in, and it should be good."

"Well, it's a little more than that," Victor says. "But sure."

Victor's fingers have tiny little pincers coming out of the tips of them and the break the communicator apart, revealing the components of it. It then implements them into the Omnitrix. The compartment closes and the three of us look at the watch.

"That's it?" Diana asks.

"Now to test it," I activate the communicator. "Hey, Flash?"

"Yeah?" He replies.

"I hate you," I smirk.

"Love you too, Eric," Wally then ends the communication.

"Well, it works," I say as I get up. "So, you guys wanna train now or what?"

Diana smiles and palms her fist. "I've been trying to get the chance to spar against you."

I smirk and crack my knuckles. "Just 'cause I'm physically weaker than you, don't expect an easy fight."

"I'd be stupid to think that," she replies.

"I'd rather watch," Victor says. "I know how intense the two of you can get when training, I ain't trying to get caught up in-" He suddenly stops.

"Victor?" Diana asks.

Victor's eye widens and he looks at us. "Alien ship incoming. Very high-tech."

"You sure?" I ask as I get the memory feeling again.

The PA activates and J'onn's voice can be heard. "All Justice League members and associates, report to the Javelin bay for deployment. We have an omega-level threat; this is not a drill."

"I'm sure," Cyborg says.

"Damn, a third omega-level threat in such a short time? What the hell, universe?" I ask as the three of us run towards the Javelin bay.

Nevada

"Containment has failed, and we are taking heavy losses," the voice of a US Army commander says over the radio. "Requesting emergency support; I repeat, we cannot contain them!"

"Sounds like the commander could use a little reassurance," Superman says as he leads the League towards the mesa, the other fliers flying alongside him.

"Let's hope we can give it to him," Batman says from the Batwing.

"X Gon' Give it to Ya," Zatanna whispers. I groan and give her a blank stare.

"We'll give it to him all right, and then some," Wonder Woman says, piloting a Javelin with other heroes in it.

Next to her, I'm flying Silver Bolt, with Zatanna in the co-pilot's seat and the Ultimen, Zatara, Cyborg, and Hourman flying with us.

"So, Triumph, how many alien invasion have you fought in?" Downpour asks.

"I've fought a few in Seattle and Arizona. I tend to stop them before anyone else needs to get in, so I've stopped a lot on my own," I answer. "But I've fought a few off planet."

"When was the last time you beat back some invaders?" He asks.

"Three years ago. I barely won," I whisper.

"Approaching our destination," Silver Bolt announces.

Silver Bolt zooms in on the mesa, and a screen appears in front of Zatanna, revealing the massive mesa, covered in a strange silver, red, and black high-tech machine, robotic spiders seen around it.

"Ah, hell, I recognize this thing," I say.

"You do?" Flash asks from the Javelin behind me.

"Yeah, it's called the Dark Heart. I don't know much about it, but I've heard a lot of rumors. The prevailing one is that every planet it lands on falls within a day," I answer.

I can feel the tension in the air after telling the League what I know about the Dark Heart, but after a moment, Superman replies. "Well, that ends today."

Most of the Javelins and Silver Bolt land on the mesa, their doors opening for all of us to rush out, the Batwing and a few Javelins stay in the air, keeping an aerial view as well as being air support. On the ground, we get a better view of the mechanical spiders, who look a lot like the Dark Heart itself.

Zatanna takes my hand and I absorb some magic from her. She then looks at her dad and gives him a small smile and nods. He smiles and nods back.

"It's growing bigger," Batman notes. "And it's somehow devouring everything around it, then converting it into mass."

"Anyone nearby?" I ask.

"There are three nearby towns," Batman answers. "Once they're done with the army's debris, they'll begin moving on them."

"Not if we stop them here," Zatanna whispers.

The communicators go off with a special noise, the indication that someone else not on the League's communicators are now in the call. "This is General Eiling, USAF. We're in the process of evacuating three towns in the immediate vicinity; we need those…things locked down."

"Then the first task is containment," Wonder Woman decides.

"I've got something onboard that might buy us some time," the Batwing flies over, and drops a large bomb. Then there's an explosion of ice that creeps over the device, locking it up.

"Batman?" Wonder Woman asks. "What was that?"

"Thermionic gas. Cooled a few degrees of absolute zero," he answers.

"Wait a minute…" Zatanna's eyes narrow. "Why the hell do you have this?"

"Had to freeze the Gotham river once. Long story."

Her eyes widen. "That was you! I was taking a shower then, you ass!"

"Wait, doesn't Shadowcrest have its own water system?" I ask.

"We were in a hotel," Zatara answers. "And it made all water in Gotham cold."

"I'm not apologizing," Batman grunts.

After the main vessel was frozen, the spiders pause to look at it, they then turn around and resume marching to the nearby towns. And would you look at that, we're in their way.

Everyone gets ready. Cyborg's arms turn into cannons, tornadoes build along Wind Dragon's arms, Long Shadow grows, and some scales appear along his arms, neck, and face, Supergirl's heat vision gets ready, and so on and so forth. Zatanna, Zatara, and I have magic circles appear over our hands.

"Adfishio Potentia!" I shout. Black and purple tendrils of magic shoot forward and destroy a number of the robots, which starts the battle.

I leap back and avoid a spider before creating a magic sword and cutting it in half. I then continue and cut another three in half with one swing. Zatanna then lands behind me and creates a pillar below us as the spiders around us leap at us.

"You're getting good with your magic," she compliments. "Edam tuo fo dael!" The spiders climbing up the pillar become heavy and fall over, crushing the other robots on their way down.

"I have a good teacher," I reply with a smirk before grabbing a spider by the legs and tearing it in half. "These things aren't tough. But they've got numbers, which could be a huge problem."

"Ekam su ylf," Zatanna and I fly off the pillar as the spider's overwhelm it. "Elbmurc," the pillar then falls, again crushing the spiders under it.

"Claws!" I chant. Claws of mana appear and scrape along the ground, cutting through any spider in the way.

I grit my teeth as my left arm feels weird. Did one of them get me and I didn't know? Do they have some kind of venom?

Doesn't matter, I need to do something about closing them in, that'd buy the towns more time.

I take a deep breath and bring my hands up, I let the breath out and slam my hands into the ground after Zee and I land. "Stonewall!" The ground at the edge of the mesa shoots up high, and its surface is uneven, which doesn't let the spiders climb up as easy.

I cry out in pain as a flash of heat can be felt in my right arm now. I bring it in and hold my left hand over the point. Seriously, the hell happened?

Two spiders jump to get me, but they're pushed back by a blue hand. Zatanna kneels next to me and helps me up. "Eric? What's wrong?"

"No idea, my arms feel like shit for some reason," I reply.

"No more spells!" Zatara shouts as he lands next to us.

"The hell are you talking about?" I then notice a spider go for a stab behind Zatanna. I push her out of the way and hold a palm out. "Shockwave!" A powerful burst of sonic energy shoots from the circle and tears the spider apart.

"MOTHERFU- DAMMIT!" I cry out as the pain in my arm becomes unbearable.

Green Lantern notices and flies down to scoop the three of us away. "What's wrong with Triumph?"

"That's what I wanna know," I say through gritted teeth.

"I never got to explain everything back in Ireland," Zatara says. "The magic of an Anam user kills them slowly, the process speeds up the more they use their magic."

The three of us look at him with wide eyes. "Ya couldn't have said something before!?" I shout.

"You didn't let me," he replies. "Look at your hand."

I look and see my right wrist, index finger, and middle finger are gray, with purple veins crackling along them. "What the hell?" I then have the right sleeve disappear, and most of the arm is the same, with a purple circle in the center, the epicenter of the pain. "What the hell!?"

"It's why they absorb mana, to be able to use as much magic as possible," he continues. "Eric, you need to stop."

I nod. "Yeah, no, I'm cool with waiting for the Omnitrix. There's a new form I've been meaning to try out anyway," I slowly get up, Zatara offers some mana and I take it, we watch as my arm returns to normal. "Okay, John, let's go."

He nods and transforms the shovel into a drill, the three of us in it. It then drops down and destroys many of them and lets us out. Two birds with one stone, nice one, GL.

I dodge an attack and pull out a kunai before stabbing a spider, I then drag the weapon up and cut its upper body in half. I pull out another one and stab another in the side of the head.

As we fight, I notice that we're beating them back pretty easily. Now, we've got the almost the entire might of the League down here, there are very few forces on Earth who could handle that, but the Dark Heart's from space.

There's something off.

"Good job with the stonewall," Wonder Woman compliments as she lands on a spider next to me.

"Yeah…" I look around, my memory doing its thing again. I bring the Omnitrix up to my face and activate the communicator. "Hey, Superman, isn't this a little too easy?"

"You're right… Hold up, let me check," he replies. After a moment, he comes back to the comms. "They're right under us!"

And suddenly, the ground erupts, hundreds of mechanical spiders shoot out of the ground and temporarily overwhelm us.

But it's temporary, considering how long we've all worked together, the ambush is quickly dealt with. Though I notice some Javelins get swarmed and pulled underground by a number of spiders.

Silver Bolt swoops by and his guns shoot up a large number of the spiders, which also takes a lot of pressure off of Hawk and Dove. Atom Smasher and Long Shadow work together at crushing many of the spiders, Juice transforms into lightning and shoots from spider to spider, short circuiting them as he goes by.

I dodge some attacks and punch and kick many robots away, also throwing some shurikens around that explode at contact.

"They're still pushing us back," Zatanna comments as she creates some spikes below a dozen of them that stabs up through them.

"Wonder Woman, can you hear me?" General Eiling asks. "I'm in the town of Goldhanger, two klicks from here; we're not going to get everyone out in time."

"You won't have to, General," J'onn says while in the Watchtower. "The Watchtower is now in stationary orbit over the sight. I am clearing the binary-fusion generator for firing."

"The what?"

"It converts our station's entire energy output into a single shot; it's a gun with the punch of a small nuclear weapon, General," J'onn answers.

"You can't be serious!" Eiling shouts.

"It's either that, or they overrun the towns, followed by the country, the continent, then the world," I cut in. "Take your choice, General."

"Triumph is right," J'onn agrees. "Now pull your men back. We can't hit the aliens directly, because it could scatter them for miles; so, we're going to burn a trench around them."

Eiling grumbles before ending the communication. Superman then orders for us to temporarily fall back. After getting lifted off of the mesa, someone points up to the sky, bringing the laser to our attention.

It hits the ground, and the explosion kicks up dirt, rock, and other minerals, the blinding light also forces most of the others to cover their eyes, my goggles let me see everything. The laser slowly circles the mesa, any spiders that get too close are destroyed by the laser.

Eventually it ends, and leaves behind a massive, fifty-foot wide, half-mile deep trench in the ground. Everyone watches in awe as smoke still lifts from the trench.

Well, shit.

Watchtower

Martian Manhunter looks around in the darkened station. Thanks to the cannon, most of the systems onboard were shut down. He looks down at a panel in front of him, showing that there are fifty-nine minutes left until power returns.

"An hour until we find out if it worked," he whispers.

Nevada

When we learned about the cannon there were two main reactions: one side thought it was a bad idea, that it'd just invite more challenges. The other side thought it was a good idea, if you have a big gun, almost nothing can stand in your way. I'm in the latter.

Zatanna whistles as she stands next to me. "Now I see why you think the gun's a good idea," she's in the former.

"That should buy us some time until they get the townspeople out," Superman says. "Now I want to learn about these things," he's silent for a moment as he uses his microscopic and x-ray vision to study the Dark Heart.

After a moment, he looks down at us. "I think the main spacecraft is replicating; there's some sort of near-microscopic machine at the center of each one, a kind of… dark heart, building around itself."

"I could go Nanomech and check it out," I offer. "But we'll have to wait about seven minutes, the Omnitrix is still recalibrating."

"And you won't do it alone," Batman says as the Batwing flies by. "We need Ray Palmer, he's in Boston. Flash, you'll get there fastest; get to him, explain the situation, then bring him here."

Right, because the Watchtower's down, our communicators can only go fifty miles, and Boston's more than fifty miles from here.

"On it, Bats," Flash nods before speeding off.

"All right, the aliens are getting back in action, people," Superman announces. "Hold the line!"

Well, time to punch some more robots.

Boston, Massachusetts

Dr. Ray Palmer is currently hunched over a desk in one of his labs, this one not in his home city of Ivy Town.

Currently, he's working on a device to help him better defend himself when he's shrunk down, something he and Triumph have been trading notes on for a while now.

But suddenly, a red and yellow blur arrives in his lab, stopping him from his work.

He takes off his goggles and looks up at the Flash. Ray arches a brow in confusion, he doesn't have much in common with the Flash, and the two have only spoken a few times, and that was because he was hanging out with Triumph. So why is he here now?

"Hello, Flash," Ray says as he reaches out and shakes Flash's hand. "What brings you to Boston?"

"Omega-level threat in Nevada, Doc. We kinda need your help now," Flash answers.

Ray's eyes widen a little before he nods with grim determination. "Tell me everything."

Nevada

One Hour Later

"This stopped being fun about forty-five minutes ago," I comment as I clench my fist, a hand of sand then crushes many of the robot spiders.

Right now, I'm my new form, an Urodelasa named Saharamander.

I'm a tall, humanoid lizard with black scales and tan inner scales from my abdomen to the bottom half of my snout. I have two horns that sweep back on either side of my head and a mouth full of fangs. I have a tail with sharp spikes going down it and a large spike curving inward on each shoulder, with four claws on each hand and three on each foot. My orange eyes have black slits for pupils. I wear black shorts with an orange trim and there's a skirt-like piece in front of my shorts, two orange triangles on each side giving it an Omnitrix crest design. The belt buckle has the Omnitrix crest on it.

"You're telling me," Zatanna agrees. "I'm not used to alien invasions."

"Yeah, you just deal with demon incursions," I open my mouth and fire a powerful blast of sand that cuts through five robots.

"Demon incursions are fun… You should join me on the next one," she suggests.

"I'd rather not," I reply as I cut another spider in half with my claws. My tail then shoots out and stabs through a spider's face.

This is getting bad.

Shortly after Flash left, the spiders began to push. Some would form bridges to let their brethren scurry over them to bypass the trench. We'd destroy them quickly, but they'd remake two bridges even quicker.

And with the constant battle of keep-up, many of us are tiring. Zatara's currently hanging back with Hourman and Huntress inside of Silver Bolt as they recover. I've had to transform back every now and again, all to avoid running out of charge when I really need it. And Zatanna's breathing rather heavily, with sweat pouring down her brow.

Even the Teen Titans were called in, with Alloy now among them. Thanks to their late arrival, they're doing most of the work in holding the spiders back.

I open my mouth, but instead of highly pressurized sand shooting out, the inside of my mouth glows a hot white before I shoot molten glass at high speed. It collides with a spider and sends it flying back, knocking it into other spiders and melting it. After my attack cools, the ground around the spider's covered in glass.

I raise my foot and stomp another spider, my toe claws dig into it before I toss it high into the air for Supergirl to fly through it, leaving scraps behind.

The Batwing flies by and launches some missiles, destroying a pack of spiders. "That was the last of my useful armaments. I can't do anymore."

And as if those were the magic words, several tiger-like robots bust out of the ice and land on the Batwing, clawing and tearing through it.

Batman opens the cockpit and knocks some of them off, he then tosses two explosive batarangs that take out another two, leaving one left. It reaches out for his face, so Batman pulls the eject-lever, launching himself out of the plane, and the force of the launch sends the tiger flying away.

But for one last attack, it fires a laser through its mouth, tearing through Batman's parachute and sending him into free-fall.

"Batman to all points," he says as he falls. "I could use some air-support. Since I can't fly. At all," he continues falling, silent for a moment. "Now would be good."

Starfire flies up and catches him, the two grabbing each other's wrists. "Thank you, Starfire."

"You're welcome, Batman," she replies. "Mar'i wants to visit soon."

"She's always welcome," Batman replies. "But let's focus on this first."

"Spiders, tigers, what's next, warthogs!?" I shout in annoyance as five sand spears stab five tigers.

"Maybe pumas?" Flash asks as he skids to a stop next to me. He then spins his arms around, creating a tornado that catches a lot of the robots, I then follow up by tossing in glass shards, adding to the attack.

"Oooh! Maybe the Chupacabra!" Victorious adds as Luna in his sabretooth form bites the head off of a tiger. Well, now we know who's the dominant cat.

"Nice form," Flash compliments as the attack stops. "When'd you get him? And what's he called?"

I create a sand hammer and crush more robots. "He was unlocked last night; I call him Saharamander."

"Dope," Nightwing comments as he flips around many of the robots, leaving explosive wingdings on them as he leaps next to me. He then presses a button on his gauntlet, and the wingdings explode, destroying the robots. "Y'know, you get a new form almost every week and I totally think it's unfair."

"Don't forget the magic," Cyborg comments as he lands on some tigers next to us.

"Eh, he could use some work," Zatanna says while using a tiger as a surfboard. She then hops off of it, and it continues on and crashes into the mesa, crushing itself on impact.

Star bolts destroy more spiders around us, followed by Starfire landing gracefully next to Cyborg. "We all start somewhere."

"Less talking about my powers and more beating the robots please," I reply. I thrust a fist out, and sand wyverns shoot out of the ground and swoop down, destroying many of the robots and giving us some much-needed breathing room.

"So, this is what the Titans look like in action."

Oh, shit, the Atom's here, I forgot about that.

"Hey, Doc, how are ya?" I ask.

"I'm good, Triumph, thanks for asking," he says as he leaps to my shoulder. "Flash said you know something about the invaders?"

I nod and claw a tiger in half. "Yeah, they're called the Dark Heart. Everything I know is from rumors, but the leading one is that every planet they land on, falls within a day."

The Atom hums, leaps off my shoulder, grows to normal size, and looks around.

Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman land next to us. "Anything to input, Doctor?" Wonder Woman asks.

"These creatures are self-replicating, yes. But they use any materials they can to create copies. Meaning they'll only stop once they've exhausted all useful matter," he then looks at me. "That's when the planet falls."

"All matter?" Batman asks.

The Atom nods. "Everything. Coast-to-coast, then across the seabed. They'll use rock, metal, plastic, plant life…"

"And even people," Wonder Woman finishes with a whisper.

"And attacking these spiders and tigers isn't doing anything," Nightwing adds.

"Neither will attacking the ship itself," the Atom says. "We need a surgical strike. The core of the Dark Heart needs to be destroyed, otherwise they'll win."

I narrow my eyes and look up at it as sand spikes erupt from the ground and stab through some spiders that tried to leap at us with our backs turned.

"Superman, you said the core was near-microscopic, right?" I ask.

He nods.

"Then the Atom and I are the only ones capable of doing anything," I slap the Omnitrix dial and become my nanochip-human form, Nanomech.

I become a centimeter-tall hybrid creature with metallic gray skin. I have triangular feet and claws for fingers. My forearms are black with orange lines and my abdomen is black and orange. I have four orange wings, two bigger ones on top and two smaller ones below them. My shoulders are two shades of orange and I also have orange circuits along my body. I have a single orange eye and the Omnitrix crest is on my chest.

I look at Batman and nod.

He nods back, which surprises me, I half expected him to not see me. He then activates his communicator. "This is Batman to all points; we have a new plan. The Atom and Nanomech are to enter the Dark Heart and defeat it from within. Make a path for them and hold the creatures off long enough for them to complete their objective."

There are affirmatives from all around, and everyone's efforts seem to redouble with the hope of an end to this dragged-out fight.

"I'd shrink if I were you, Doctor, I can get the two of you up there fast," Zatanna says and holds a hand out. I immediately fly into it.

The Atom nods before leaping up, shrinking the entire time, and landing in Zatanna's hand. "I've never had a spell casted on me before. This should be interesting."

"Hold on tight, Doc, it's different from the Watchtower's teleporters," I reply. I hear Cyborg and Flash snicker at my high-pitched voice. If things weren't so dire, I'd hit them with a stinger blast.

"Ekat meht ot eht kraD traeH," blue mana swirls around us, and next thing we know, we're at the Dark Heart.

But we're in the middle of the air.

I quickly sprout out my wings and grab the Doctor by the wrists, stopping him from falling. "Don't worry, I've got you."

"Thanks, Triumph," he replies. "Now, let's stop this."

I nod and the two of us fly into a crack in the Dark Heart.

The Atom and I land inside the machine and look around, what looks like veins can be seen all over, and black liquid that seems blood-like is pumped through them. There are multiple openings in the area we just landed in, which most likely means there are multiple paths to the heart of the Dark Heart.

"We should split up," I suggest. "You go left, I go right."

He nods. "We'd find the core faster. Be careful, if you bite off more than you can chew, I'm not sure if I can reach you in time."

"Same goes for you," I reply before the two of us follow our paths.

After a few minutes of looking around, the Omnitrix beeps. "Triumph, Atom, status report," Batman says.

"It's unbelievable…" the Atom whispers in awe.

"What're you talking abou- WHOA!" I trip over and land in the black liquid. Once I get up, an image pops up, kind of reminds me of a documentary. "Oh, that's what you're talking about."

"What is it?" Batman asks.

"The Dark Heart is showing us its history," the Atom says. "Long ago, two planets were at war, and the Dark Heart's creators launched it at their enemies home world. It-it ate the entire planet!"

"But it didn't stop there," I continue the story. "It continued, eating planet after planet. This thing probably ate an entire galaxy!"

"And it's creators?" Batman asks.

"Either dead or they don't know about the war anymore. If I'm reading this right, this thing's over fifty-thousand years old," I answer. "Would like to see it fight the Reapers from Mass Effect."

A tendril stabs into my back, electrocuting me and then sends me flying into a vein. I groan and look up to see a number of them looming over me.

"Triumph! Eric!" Batman shouts.

"Defense mechanism," I slowly get up. "Don't worry, I can handle it. Doc, you focus on defeating this thing."

"Of course," the Atom replies.

I charge up my stingers and flutter my wings. "Okay, you assholes, let's dance."

Two of the tendrils stab at me. I fly away and hit them with the stinger blasts, cutting through them and leaving the rest of the tendrils wiggling in the air as their pointed tips are still in the side. I then shrink down even more to avoid another attack before flying forward, dragging my stinger-enhanced hand across the tendril, cutting it in half.

I narrowly avoid the fourth and kick it down, trapping it between the ground and my triangle foot. I then punch through it.

So far, so good.

The tendril in half becomes two, the three tips imbedded in the side of the Dark Heart extend out and become their own tendrils, while their old bases grow new tips.

Oh, so far not so good.

"Atom! Please tell me you have something!" I shout as I avoid the tendrils. A few manage to get me in the shoulder and knee, knocking me off course. I roll out of the way and run from more of them. "I really need news now!"

The Dark Heart shudders, and the black blood-like substance begins to boil. Okay, that's good news.

"I've reached the heart!" The Atom announces. "I'm tearing the veins away from it and it seems to be working!"

"Continue please!" I shout. A tendril wraps around my neck and begins to choke me. I kick and struggle as its grip spasms with the Dark Heart. If this keeps up, it'll take my head off.

As I begin to black out, the tendril suddenly lets go, and then it, and the others fall over, limp. I tilt my head in confusion, but I don't have a lot of time to think it over, what with the Dark Heart exploding.

Zatanna

Fall, dammit. Just freaking die.

It's been a little over ten minutes since Eric and the Atom entered the Dark Heart, and since then the thing's decided to hit us with what we like to call mega-spiders. These things are bigger than the normal variants, and far more deadly. Though they seem to go for the more powerful members, like Atom Smasher, Long Shadow, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Blue Beetle, and Victorious.

Everyone's injured as well, hell, some of us nearly died. Mordru and Amazo weren't this bad. Then again, Mordru was attacking for chaos, to power his lords, and Amazo was only hunting Luthor. This thing, on the other hand, is out to kill us, and it's damn near doing a good job.

One of the tigers leaps at me, and I don't even have enough energy to attempt a spell, so I try to leap out of the way, but I don't think I have enough time. Thankfully, a far more friendly pale-white sabretooth tiger stomps it down, Luna then chomps on the robotic tiger's neck and tears its head off.

I lean on him and scratch behind his ears, he purrs in delight. "Thanks, Luna. I'm gonna buy you all the expensive fish you can eat."

He nods before swiping a mega-spider away.

I leap back and prepare a fireball spell, but suddenly the spider stops.

In fact, they all stop.

The robots freeze in place, some fall over as they were leaping in the air, and others fall over on their sides stiff, kind of like a cartoon.

Suddenly, the Dark Heart erupts, and black liquid flows out of every orifice, the thing even sags in on itself.

There are some cheers and a lot of us sigh as they fall over. I'm in the second group, but Luna lays down next to me, becoming a giant, fluffy pillow for me to lay on.

I notice Victorious stumble over to me, I scoot over to let her flop on Luna, she groans before turning to face me. "I don't think I want to work with the Justice League anymore."

I chuckle and tuck some of her white hair behind her ear. "I don't blame you."

It's been half an hour since the Dark Heart was defeated, and we've heard nothing from the Atom or Eric since.

Of course, that worries me and Esme greatly, so we help search for him along with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Silver Bolt, and Luna. Other's would help occasionally but they're too tired or injured to really help.

"I think I found something," Superman points at a random spot. The black liquid bubbles regularly.

Esmeralda and I share a glance before running ahead. On the way there, we see a familiar red flash of light that drowns out another white light. Once they clear, we see Eric and the Atom, their heads next to each other, staring up blankly.

Eric's mask disappears as we stand around the two.

Slowly, Eric looks at us. "I want a week off. And I'm not asking."

Esme and I drop down and wrap him in a tight hug. Eric groans but slowly reciprocates, an arm around each of our backs. Luna leans forward, still in his sabretooth tiger form, and licks Eric's face.

"Okay, yeah, lovely," he groans. "Man, I'm gonna take one hell of a bath after this."

"And I'll join you," I whisper.

"Eww!" Esmeralda shouts.

A few hours later and everyone's patched up and better than before, though there are still some injuries that need to be looked into more. Yeah, after this, the League's gonna be at its weakest for a while. Kind of scary to think about.

The Titans and Teen Titans stand together as the kids excitedly retell the story of the fight.

"Dude! We gotta fight with our dads! It was awesome!" Jon shouts excitedly.

Damian shrugs. "It was…eye opening," he's totally freaking out on the inside.

"I'm just saying, Wonder Woman's hot when she fights," Travis whispers, eyes wide.

Wally, Victor, Eric, and I sigh. "And there it is," I whisper.

"What?" Travis asks.

"You're the first of the Teen Titans to say it," Victor answers. "Was honestly expecting that to be Gar."

"Hey! I take offense to that!" Gar puffs his chest out. "Besides, if I were to say such a thing, it'd be in the safety of Titans Tower. After all, Wonder Woman might've heard you, and who knows what's gonna happen to you?"

Travis pales and looks in her direction. She's currently talking with Superman and Booster Gold. She then looks in our direction and waves. Travis lets out a high-pitched 'eek' and hides behind Rachel.

"Seriously?" She drawls as she slowly looks behind her. "You're the biggest on the team, and you're hiding behind me?"

"You're the scariest!" He reasons.

Rachel looks up at me.

I just shrug with a smirk. "That's your problem," I look behind her to see Dad healing Gypsy. I tap Eric's elbow. "I'll be back."

I feel Eric's eyes on me as I walk over, I turn around to see him nod before he gets pulled back into the conversation with the others.

"Thanks for the help, Zatara," Gypsy says. "Honestly, magic's really useful, glad you, Fate, and your daughter are on the team."

Dad just nods with a smile. "It's nothing, Gypsy. Thank you for saving me earlier."

"We're a team, Big Zee, we look out for each other," Gypsy then notices me behind Dad. "Well, see you two later. I hear there's gonna be a party on the Watchtower! Don't miss it!"

Dad says a goodbye before turning around to face me. There's an awkward air as the two of us stare at each other, waiting for the other to say something.

"Dad/Zatanna," we both stop, and he motions for me to start.

"Right, Dad. I'm sorry," I say, getting right to it. "I should've seen things from your side. I was- I was just so angry that I had to find out about your history with the Cult of the Cold Flame from Necro and Mister E of all people. I hope you'll forgive me."

Dad pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead. "My darling Zatanna, I was never mad at you at all. In fact, I hope you'll forgive me," he takes a deep breath. "I was wrong to keep that from you. It's just that I was terrified of what you'd think of me, that you wouldn't love me anymore."

"Daddy, I could never not love you," I reply. "It's impossible."

He chuckles. "The same for me. You and Rachel are all the family I have left. If I were to lose either of you, I wouldn't know what to do."

"Yeah, same…" I get out of the hug and stand in front of him. "So, I guess I'll come back to Shadowcrest soon?"

"Are you sure?" He asks. "What about staying with Eric? Do you not enjoy it?"

I shake my head. "No, I love living with him. And I'm forever grateful he let me stay with him, it let us get over any lingering issues from the breakup. It's just that I kind of miss Shadowcrest, and whenever I move in with him again, I want it to be on good terms with you."

Dad arches a brow with a smirk. ""Again"?"

I smile and look back at Eric as he sighs from a joke Wally said. "Yeah, again."

Dad puts his hands on my shoulders and smiles at me. "Well, at least when you do, Shadowcrest will be a lot quieter."

"Dad!" I playfully whack his hands away.

"It's true," he shrugs. "I'm no longer woken up by obnoxiously loud music or Rachel telling me you're annoying her. In fact, she'll be excited for this move too."

I glare at him before smiling and leaning up to kiss his cheek. "I love you, Daddy."

He hugs me again. "I love you too, Zatanna."

The two of us walk back to the group, Green Arrow and Black Canary now with them. Eric notices us and he and Dad nod.

"Military man incoming," Jaime announces.

We turn to see General Eiling marching towards Clark and Diana. The military comes along and begins to gather the bodies of the robots. Eric narrows his eyes and hums at that.

Clark and Diana see him coming and turn to him. "I don't suppose you need any help destroying that. Wouldn't want that technology falling into the wrong hands," Superman says.

"We could learn a lot from this," Eiling says. "It almost beat the Justice League and your child soldiers, after all."

"Hey! We volunteered for this, jerk face!" Jon shouts.

Eiling glares at him before turning to Clark. "You need to control your boy. Discipline him, maybe?"

Clark's eyes narrow. "I'll raise my son how I see fit."

Diana folds her arms. "Why would you need something to do that, General?" She asks, bringing the conversation back on topic.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because it turns out the Justice League has had a secret, space-based weapon of mass-destruction all along," he glares at her. "And we're going to talk about that soon, believe me," he salutes. "Ma'am," then saunters off.

"Amazing, show him a weapon that destroys everything it sees, and he wants to play with it," Oliver comments. He then turns to Eric. "What's to stop history from repeating itself?"

"Us," Eric replies.

Seattle

Eric

Now, the party's been postponed to a later date when most of us can at least dance without the risk of tearing open their stitches and bleeding all over the floor. That'd be something to see.

Zatanna and I are teleported back home. My armor disappears while Zatanna stays in her black pants and white strapless top as we flop on the couch. She brings her legs up and curls into me, her head resting on my shoulder.

"Y'know, now I get why you love to sleep," she whispers.

"Sleep sounds lovely right now," I grumble. I rub her back and she responds positively to it. After a few minutes of silence, I turn to her with a small smile. "So, you and your dad are good."

I feel her smile against my neck. "Yeah, we are. Thanks for pushing me."

"It's what I do," I shrug.

"Hey," she says.

"Yeah?"

"Where's your grandma?"

I scratch the side of my head with my left arm. "She's probably with Mom right now. The two of them spend a lot of time together."

She picks her head up to look at me. "Does your dad know?"

I nod. "He was mad when he first found out. First argument they had in a long time that got heated. Remember when Esme came to stay three weeks ago?" She nods. "That was when."

"Oh," she says quietly. "And now?"

"He grits his teeth and bears it," I answer. "Mom's extremely stubborn. I get that from her."

"Oh, so she'd slam her head into a thick steel wall for ten minutes straight?" She smirks.

I groan at the memory; a phantom headache comes. "Recklessness comes from my Dad."

She chuckles before yawning loudly. She's then immediately asleep. Mana exhaustion, when it isn't too severe, the person falls asleep at the snap of their fingers.

I yawn and lay down on the couch, holding Zatanna close to me as my eyelids get heavy. But the same can be said for an Anam user, I guess.

I blink a few more times before my eyes close.

I open my eyes to find myself laying on the blanket in the field. I look to my right to see Sindella sitting down next to me, a gentle smile on her face. "Hello," she greets.

"Hola," I groan as I sit up. "So, what're we going to talk about today?"

"Tell me, how did you meet my daughter?" She asks, her head tilted. Zatanna does the same thing when she's really interested in something.

"Yeah, I could tell that story," I get comfortable. "It was simple, really, one of my enemies—Hex—had beat me in a fight, mainly 'cause I had no idea how to fight against magic, I had heard that Zatara was having a show in Seattle, which my family and I had moved to the year before."

"Why move there from Arizona?" She asks.

I flinch and grit my teeth. "That's not a good memory."

"Oh, sorry," she apologizes. "Continue with how you met my daughter."

"Anyways, I managed to get the special ticket that let you see things backstage, and I got a special seat reserved for me. Zatara had a big trick to show, and Zatanna came along to help," I smile as I get lost in the memory. "She was beautiful. When she came on stage, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Everything she did was just…perfect. I still can't believe how beautiful she is. At seventeen and now, at twenty-three."

"Well, according to many friends of mine, I was an extremely beautiful seventeen-year-old myself," Sindella boasts.

"Well, considering how alike you and Zee look, I wouldn't be surprised," I compliment.

"Flatterer," she smirks. "So, after the show?"

"I went backstage and got to meet them. Off the get-go I told them that I knew they had real magic, I can sense mana, after all. I had to transform to prove myself, but from that point on, Zatara trained me to fight magic and Zee and I had grown close during that time," I answer. "When we started dating, I half expected Zatara to throw me to the street honestly."

Sindella laughs lightly. "That sounds like Giovanni all right. Always so protective of his little girl. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I had to tell him to back off so she can make friends of the opposite sex."

I smirk. "Yeah, when we started training, he made sure to tell me I was to only talk to Zatanna if it was extremely important. But his tune's changed since."

Her smile turns to a frown. "And how is he? My Giovanni?"

"He's good," I answer. "Like I said, he's adopted a girl named Rachel Roth and he's raised Zatanna great. Though, I'd sometimes notice a faraway look in his eyes. It happened every year on June 18th."

"That was the day we met," she says. "In a bar in Turkey, he had bought me a drink, and we hit it off from there," she rubs the wedding ring on her left ring finger. "I miss him."

We're silent as we watch the simulated nature of this pocket realm. I look down at her wedding ring before nodding. "Where are you."

She stops turning her ring and looks at me with wide eyes. "What?"

"Where are you?" I repeat. "You've gotta be somewhere on Earth, right? Maybe I can save you? Get you back to your family and meet your new adoptive daughter?"

Sindella studies me before her face becomes downcast. She sighs and looks down at her ring again, shaking her head. "No, there's no use. If you come to get me, you'll just be captured, and Zatanna will have lost the love of her life as well as her mother. I can't do that to her."

"Well, I can't knowingly let you live the rest of your life in this prison," I counter. "Now, where. Are. You."

"I'm not saying anything," she sighs. "You should wake up. Or have another dream about astronaut bears or something."

"No, I'm not-" Wait a minute, I think I know where she is. "Turkey," I whisper.

"What?" She asks.

"Turkey. It's the only location you've ever mentioned, and Zatara's told me of an ancient, hidden city of Homo Magi there," I whisper. "That's where you're imprisoned."

Her eyes widen before she reaches over and puts her hands on my shoulders, looking me in the eyes with a serious air, which also makes the atmosphere of our meeting area heavy. "Eric, listen to me. Do not attempt a rescue. I cannot let you do this. What would happen to Zatanna if she lost you too?"

I put my hands over hers. "She won't, 'cause I'll rescue you. After all, I always triumph."

She stares at me blankly.

I sigh and droop my head. "That catchphrase was so much cooler when I was a kid."

"I highly doubt it," she deadpans.

"Ouch, you know how to hurt me with words just like Zatanna does," I hold my hands over my heart. "I bet she'll love to insult me with you at her side."

"Eric," she sighs. "Don't."

I get up and slowly back away, a purple door emitting black wisps of energy appears behind me. "Too late, already planning your rescue," I turn around and open the door, but before I exit, I turn around and smile at her. "I'd get ready if I were you, this jailbreak might get a little...explosive."

I ignore any of her attempts to dissuade me and step through the door.

I open my eyes to see it's now three in the morning. Good, I can work with this.

I carefully move out from under Zatanna. "But…Captain Space Bear…The Meteor Turtles are surrounding us," she whispers.

I look at her with an arched brow. This dream's back. I have a lot of questions.

But they can come later, now I've got some important business to deal with. I quickly run to one of the rooms on this floor and open the door. I find Silver Bolt inside, working on repairing his damages from earlier. His head perks up when he sees me in the doorway.

"Oh! Hello, Eric! Today was quite the experience, wasn't it?" He greets.

"Yeah, it was," I whisper as I close the door behind me and sit down on the bed, which Silver Bolt still uses. "Look, SB, I need your help with something."

He stops welding his arm together. "Of course, anything for my creator."

"Right," I sigh. Okay, this could backfire, he listens to Zatanna almost more than me, but I hope he understands the situation. "There's…someone close to Zatanna, that I have to save."

"Whom?" Silver Bolt asks with a tilt of his head, something he picked up from Zee, who in turn picked it up from Sindella.

"I can't say. All I can say is this: she's very important, and I plan on rescuing her. But in all honesty, I might be biting off more than I can chew," I admit. "I'm gonna go now, and I most likely won't be here when Zee wakes up. What I need you to do is keep this a secret, say I had to go fight the Vreedle Brothers off-planet or something, just make something up, okay?"

Silver Bolt looks at me, blinking. Oh, man, this might not end well. "You want me to lie? To the woman I see as my Mother?"

I knew I shouldn't have done this.

Silver Bolt sighs. "Okay," wait, what? "But if she pushes too much, I will not be able to cover for you any longer."

I let out a breath of relief. "No, Silver Bolt, thank you," I get up and head to the door. "Like I said, I'll most likely be gone when she wakes up, if I'm not back five hours after that, tell her everything, and make sure you send a message to Zatara as well."

"Okay," he nods. "Good luck, Eric."

"I won't need it. After all, I always triumph," I smirk.

He stares blankly at me.

I sigh and droop my head again. "The marketing team said the kids loved that catchphrase."

"I am not a human child," Silver Bolt points out.

"No, you aren't," I whisper. "All right, see you later."

I head over to the garage and see my workbench just behind my new car I'm working on covered by a blue tarp. Once at my workbench, I open one of the compartments, I then pull out a box and put it on top, I then open it to see two bands with sharp knives on the bottom of them.

I look over my new grappling bands, something I've been meaning to use for years now, but like I said, last time they weren't so easy to make, and they were able to leave scratches on even my wrists, scaring the hell out of Mom and Dad.

I put the right one on my wrist and flex my fingers in a specific manner, and shortly after, the blade on the bottom extends out, a lot like the hidden blade from Assassin's Creed. And if I do it again, it'll shoot the grapple blade out.

The one on my left was a little more difficult to make, mainly because Silver Bolt and I had to find a way for it to work around the Omnitrix. But as we worked on it, we found that the bottom side of the Omnitrix shifted to work with it, so it worked out in the end.

I do the same test maneuvers with the left one. It works great, so with a satisfied nod, I put the box back and smirk. Oh, I can't wait to Spider-Man swing around a city of mages.

He waves back as I quietly tiptoe out of my own home. Once in the backyard I cycle through the Omnitrix and transform into Jetray. I flap my wings a bit before taking flight, my destination, Turkey.

Hold on Sindella, I'm on my way.

But first, I have a prior arrangement to keep up on.

But we aren't seeing that until two chapters from now!

It was weird, writing this chapter felt really long, yet once I got to the fight at the mesa in Nevada, it just churned out, almost like it wrote itself. Then again, maybe it's 'cause I'm writing in the kitchen instead of my bedroom. The outlets in there suddenly stopped working, we've tried the circuit breaker many times, but it's never worked, and it's going to take a while for someone to come in and check it, so shit.

Buuut regarding the story, new alien, Saharamander! Now, I've always found it weird that there never was a sand manipulating alien seen in the show, so, I decided to make one! At first, he was supposed to be a tanooki, which would've been a reference to Shukaku, the One-Tailed Beast from Naruto, but then I thought "His name needs to be a pun. Now, what works with "Sahara"?" And thus, Saharamander was born! He's great, and his ultimate form's something I'm excited to show you.

And yeah, after the next flashback chapter we'll get to the really important original chapter, The Rescue of Sindella! This is something I've had in the works for a while now, and I can't wait to share it with you all.

Well, that's all from me. If you have any questions or want to leave a constructive review you know where to leave 'em! Remember to stay awesome and see you next time you beautiful people!
