A/N: This didn't take as long as I expected, but we should be grateful for that. Anyway, the chapter's title may just be "That Cat", but this focuses on a you-all-probably-know duel monster who will probably have play an important role here. (If u wished a chapt abt Yuri, sorry; that wont be until the next chapter or maybe after it :P)
Btw, can you guys give me a Melodious Monster suggestion for Yuzu? I mentioned aria last time but she doesn't seem to fit. If no one will give any good suggestions, I will either keep Aria or choose a monster myself. U can tell me thru reviews/PM.
Disclaimer: I do not own YGO arc v lmao.
Without any further ado, less go!

-The Internet
As Yuri was driving, Serena felt drowsy. She didn't know what to do, she felt like passing out, but that would mean she'd fall asleep on Yuri's back.
Still, sleep was taking her, so she decided to ask.
"Y-Yuri…?"
"Yeah, what?"
She blushed, "C-Can I uhh…"
"Can you what?" Yuri smiled; he knew she looked sleepy earlier.
Serena first punched him lightly then yawned but covered her mouth instantly after. "Can I have some sleep? I mean like, on your…. back?" She blushed hard, she's lucky she's at the back; if she were not, he'd see her face that could rival even Yuya's hair. "Since… you know… I can't lean on anything."
"First you pull my ear, yell, then… nevermind; maybe we should get an uber first." He suggested.
"Hm, if you have money, I guess." She said, not noticing that Yuri didn't say no.
Yuri stopped the bike and took her bag as he helped her get down. He then left the bike on the wall.
"Oh, by the way, how about this bike?"
Serena shrugged. "I don't know. Meh, leave it."
Yuri sighed and just took his phone (A/N: I still have to get used to the fact that they ain't usin duel disks _) to get an uber.
After a while, it arrived. They entered.
"Oh, what happened to her?" The driver asked as he looked at them. "And good noon."
"Uhh she's—"
"Cut the convo, I got into a fight." Serena said bluntly as she sat in the center, right in front of the AC. "Ahh…" it had been a while since she was in front of one.
"Oookay…" The driver just looked away after, he didn't want to mess with them any further.
After Yuri entered, he put the bag down, closed the door, and gestured for the guy to start driving.
Some while, Serena felt drowsy again. "Need to sleep?"
As much as she didn't want to answer, she did. "…Yeah,"
Yuri chuckled. "You can lean on me if you want, or if needed." Hearing that, she placed her head on his shoulder. He usually didn't like being touched, hugged, or anything of the kind. He just continued, "I'm first going to go to my house and get some suppli—"
"Ugh… can you take me with you? Really don't want to be in my "den" right now…" She asked immediately, head still on his shoulder.
"What? Fuck no, my bros would prolly make fun of me. And I'm never bringing you to my house."
"Whyyy?" Serena asked.
"Aren't you supposed to sleep?" Yuri didn't want to entertain anything he'd consider embarrassing right now. "Serena, do you know what guys usually do if they bring girls to their houses?"
"Mhm, yeah. They want to, well, you know, but I don't think you're the kind of guy who'd do that. Plus, you have, as you said, your brothers there."
"I'm not that kind of guy, eh? You clearly don't know me all too well, yet, Serena."
Serena wanted to glare, but couldn't, so she instead just said, "Why? Would you do that to me? Is that why you kept on saving me from such events most of the time? Or worse, is that why Strong said something about, 'You don't know how dangerous he is', hm?"
Before Yuri could retort, the driver coughed, probably in warning. "Ahem, please don't talk about such things in my car."
"Fine, then. Nevermind." Serena yawned and eventually passed out.
The driver just gave a heavy sigh at the two. 'Young adults…'
A figure was also observing them from a distance. 'I agree with you, random driver. And I'm glad he got her out of that mess."
Leo Corp. Building
The driver stopped near Leo Corp. Yuri paid him the amount needed and carried Serena out. "What relation do you have with that girl?" The driver then grinned. "She your girlfriend?"
Yuri's eyes widened. "Uhh, no… just a… friend." Yuri said, still carrying her. "And please mind your own business." He closed the door as the driver drove away.
"Okay, Serena. Please wake up." He slapped her face lightly.
Hearing that, she at least mustered enough energy to stand up. "Mhm."
She was leaning on him for support, so he made sure to be careful as he walked.
Unbeknownst to them, someone was watching from above. A particular eleven-year-old and Reiji.
"Hm? Isn't she one of your sisters, niichan?" The eleven-year-old asked. "And that's one of your employees, right?"
Reiji nodded. "Yes, Reira. The girl is my sister, Serena. And the other is Yuri."
"Wait, she's hurt!" Reira gasped. "Do you think he hurt her?"
"No, as heartless as he usually is, that could not've been him—"
Reira looked at him.
"Okay, fine. But I really don't think he did this. If anything, Serena probably did that to herself."
"Ohh…" Reira said. "By the way, when are you going to introduce me to your family? Like her, your other sisters, and brother."
Reiji sighed, then adjusted his glasses. "Soon."
Back to Yuri
Yuri walked her to her den. (I'll call it that from now on.)
He made her sit so that he could easily drag and put her on her "bed". "Just wait, Serena. I'll get some bandages and food, I'll be back."
But he felt a tug – no, a grip on his sleeve when he was about to leave.
"…Stay…?" She mumbled. "We still have something to talk *yawn* about, remember? Plus, I'll be alone…"
Yuri laughed and shook his head. "I have to leave, but I'll come back, promise. I just have to get you some bandages and food. And we can talk about… uhh… that later. Now, please let go."
"You don't have to… I can take care of myself." She insisted. She also really wanted to know more bout this guy.
"You need help, and I'm going to give it to you."
But no, with all her stubbornness, she didn't let go. "I-I'll come with you, then."
'Wha - no, you really shouldn't…' Yuri thought. "Sorry, that I can't allow. I promise to come back right away, okay?"
He saw her mouth form a pout. "Ngh, pleeeaaase…"
"You have to rest." But instead, she mustered all her strength, got up, and stood up straight as if nothing hurt. "S-Serena!"
"I don't need no rest." Since she did so, she felt as if every nerve and neuron in her head had exploded. "Ahhggh…!" She clutched it.
Yuri sighed. "So stubborn…" he muttered. 'Like Yugo…' "Look, you have to stay here, okay? Why do you want to come with me anyway?"
"I… don't really know." She sat down. "You're right though, I do have to stay, why the heck did I even... nevermind, you may leave."
Okay, this was a bit suspicious, he knows she couldn't really be trusted.
Still, he really had to leave…
"Mreow meow ngeow." Misty annoyingly meowed as she entered the den, telling them both about her day. She walked straight to Serena when she saw her master's discomfort.
"Hmm I can help you out." Yuri heard a voice in his head say.
"Huh? Who's there!? Oh, it's you."
"She can't hear me right now, by the way. Only you can."
Serena looked at him. "What."
Yuri scratched his head. "I heard a voice, but it's fine; it's the—"
"Hey! Don't tell her. Anyway, I know how to make sure she won't go anywhere, and if she still will, you can find her easily." The voice said.
"...okay, then. How?"
"Who the fuck you talking to, Yuri?" Serena asked.
"Remember, DONT tell her."
"No… One…?"
Serena just brushed it off as she laid back on the box. She was way too tired right now.. "Fine."
"For privacy purposes, please go outside."
"Alright, I'll be right back," he said as he went out. "You sound like those websites requesting cookies, by the way."
"Okay, how." The figure smirked. It wasn't visible though, as she was in "voice" form right now. "That desperate, huh?"
"Pff, yeah right. She has her own family, and because they don't know I have to do this." Yuri scoffed.
"Hmm yeah, really. Fine, the cat."
"Eh, what?"
"The cat, take her."
"..Misty?"
"Yeah, her."
As the voice had said, Yuri went inside and slowly took Misty as to make sure she won't make any noise. "Mreeeaaaooow?"
"Shhhhhh…!"
"Meow."
Yuri finally took her outside. "Here." He said as he lifted Misty in the air lion king style. Yes, Misty was uncomfortable.
"This might take a while," The voice said, "I have to talk to her."
"What?" With that, though, the voice seemed to be gone. "Uh, okay."
"Okay, hey Misty."
'Huh, who's there!?'
"Blue Cat. Name's Blue Cat. Anyway, this guy here is going to go somewhere–"
'Oh, that's great, actually! Master's better off without him.'
"Uhh, are you still here?" Yuri asked. "Huh? Are you okay, Mist?"
Misty's eyes were as wide as soccer balls.
"Yeah, I'm still here, I'm talking to the cat. Oh, it's better if you put her down." Yuri then just put Misty on the ground. Said cat just sat there, eyes still as wide as soccer balls.
Blue Cat went back to talking to Misty. "Accept it or not, he will be a valuable person in your Master's life."
Misty just glared at her. 'Tch… I know…' Misty said sadly. If you're wondering, they're talking to each other telepathically.
"Look, right now he's the only one your master needs; she's seriously injured, and needs someone to take good care of her. He will be leaving in a bit, so I need you to look after your master while he's away."
'Okay…?'
"So, can you? Please?" Blue Cat asked.
'Why are you helping us, though?' Misty wondered. 'You were the one from last night, right?'
"Yes. And… you see… I was uhh "tasked" to take care of your master, my friends were also assigned to take care of her sisters." She explained.
'Okay… this is weird…'
"Yeah, I know, right!?" Blue Cat answered in a somewhat peppy voice. This made Misty raise an eyebrow… if she has one, anyway.
'You sound—'
"Anyway," Blue Cat quickly continued, voice normal, "their names were Aria, Ice Bell, and Sapphire Swallow, if you wanna know. They're probably in better situations right now, too." She uttered the last sentence quietly so Misty won't hear her.
'Hm, okay, fine. I trust you, and whatever those other "things" are.'
"HEY! We aren't "things" as you say we are."
'Then what are you?'
"We can talk about this a different time."
'Okay.' With that, the spirit went back to Yuri.
"Good news," Blue Cat started, "you can trust the cat."
"Excuse me, what?" Yuri asked.
"You can trust the fucking cat." Blue Cat reiterated boredly. As if on cue, Misty meowed quite loudly.
Yuri growled, but sighed. "Tch… fine. As much as I don't want to, it's not like I have any other choice. Heck, I'm trusting some voice I can't even see." Yuri then thought of something… "Hey… do you have a figure? Like, a form or something? If you do, please show me."
"Well, I don't see any reason not to, so… just don't freak out, as any movie where they have to show something considered "weird", or "not normal"."
Thus…
From her head to her toes, Blue Cat showed her true form; a humanoid cat with blue ears, one eye was covered by a crescent-shaped mask, the other with an iris colored the mix of a very light green, and gold. A black collar with a small crescent-shaped tag on her neck, her right arm (from her perspective) was covered with what looked like some cloth. below her waist, a short skirt. She also wore gold-colored shoes. She also had quite a long tail.
"You look cool!" Yuri yelled in amazement; he has never seen anything like such.
This woke Serena up from the sleep she almost obtained. "Yuri what…" She looked at them and saw Blue Cat. "…the heck is that?"
Seeing her, Blue Cat tried to calm down. "Hi, my name is… Blue Cat."
Serena slowly nodded. "Yeah, blue indeed. Wait, were you the silhouette of what I saw last night?" Blue Cat scratched her head. "Yea… sorry bout that."
"You guys have met?" Yuri asked.
Serena shook her head. "No, not really "met", just saw and heard the other, I guess."
"Ooh! I have a normal tabby form, wait…" Blue Cat went on four paws and stretched a bit. A few seconds passed, and she was now the size of Misty… but a bit smaller somehow.
"Huh… cool." Serena commented. "And cute…" she said under her breath.
"Like it? Well, sorry. I can't stay… yet." Blue Cat sadly said, she had to go back with her friends for a meeting.
"Wait, what? No, please stay." Serena begged. "Please."
Blue Cat turned back to her humanoid form and started to float away. "Sorry. I'll come back soon. And Misty, do your job," she turned invisible then floated away. "Bye!"
After all that, Yuri turned to Serena. "You should go back and rest."
"Will do…" Serena yawned as she entered her den to continue and sleep. "Well, I'll go now. See ya."
"*Yawn* Yeah… see ya…"
"And don't go anywhere." He added.
"Yeah, I won't." With that, she slumped on her box-bed. It actually hurt somewhat since it had no foam or mattress whatsoever. "Ow."
'Hmm… maybe I should bring some pillows, too. And a blanket.' Yuri thought.
When he saw Serena pull Misty towards herself, he was assured that she wouldn't leave, so he then left.
Sakaki Household
As Yuri went inside, (he didn't bother sneaking) Yuya was talking to someone on his phone.
"Hiii, Yuzu-chan~!" He said dreamily, Yuya's eyes also sparkled as he talked. He's also upside down on their couch; head on the floor and legs on the back. "How are you~? Wanna meet up somewhere?"
Yuya didn't really notice him, so he just walked away… even though he really wanted to fix Yuya's position.
When he was upstairs, he saw Yugo all dressed up. "Mind telling me where you're going?"
Yugo huffed. "You don't need to know." But he really can't seem to keep his mouth shut now, can he?
With all his peppy energy shaking him, to the point that he looks like he's gonna explode, he said: "I'm going to help Rin!"
"Help her with what, exactly?"
"Uhh, find her other sister, again. And after an hour whether we find her or not, we're going to go to a computer café and I'm gonna teach her some code." He then went downstairs. "Bye! Oh, don't worry, I talked to Yuto, and I'm allowed to go until 5PM." With that, he left.
Yuri just stared at him while he left the door. If he's gonna be honest, he's a bit… jealous. Not just with Yugo, but the others, too.
"Hi, Yuri—" Yuto started.
Yuri just ignored him and went in his room.
'Tch… whatever.' Yuto just went downstairs.
In his room, Yuri opened one of his drawers, the one where he keeps his first aid materials at. He always kept them there in case something happened to him or his brothers during work, like this one time when Yugo fell off a big drone he rode for testing… good thing he was only about five feet off the ground and he was wearing a helmet, so his injuries were minor.
He took some bandages, cotton, antibiotic ointment, and some pain killers if needed. He placed them all in an empty first-aid bag.
When he was about to leave, he remembered to bring a spare blanket and pillow.
'Shoot, how do I get those out without raising any suspicion…' If only Serena had her own things…
He saw his case and knew what to do.
He took it and put his important papers on the desk and put something atop it to keep it from flying away. He then put a spare blanket and pillow (he rarely uses the spare areas of his room, so they put spare blankets, pillows, bedsheets, and pillowcases in it) in it, it still had a bit of space, so he put the first-aid kit in it, too.
But he remembered that bruises needed to be treated with ice or hot compress; he decided to just buy some ice on the way.
But when he was about to leave, Yuto went in front of him. "Where are ya goin?"
"Out."
"Well yes, but what do you have your case for?"
Yuri glared at him. "…Reiji… called me."
"Why? It's our day off." Yuto questioned.
"Well, he said it's confidential and that it's an emergency."
Yuto tsked. "Fine." 'Why're you so bitter about it, though?'
"Thanks." Yuri walked out of the door.
While walking back, he thought about what happened earlier, with Strong. Did he really miss those days? Those days when he was just an air-headed teenager…
When he helped, and killed people mindlessly and for the sake of fun…
Watching the rest of them r*pe – he rarely did the same though, prolly only once or twice – those poor girls amongst other things.
No. He can never go back to the past. True, his mother died, and his father treasured the others more than him, but… even so, he was given enough love, enough food, water, shelter, everything.
Then… why?
Why, someway, somehow, did he still end up as one of those guys? When everything he ever needed was already given to him?
Well, speaking of "those guys", he went to Dennis's coffee shop. He knew Dennis had 2-or-so bed spaces for rent, and he had to leave Serena somewhere safer right now. The blanket and pillow he brought are extras and are to be left in her den.
He knocked on the door. It was Saturday, and he usually keeps the place closed and opens around 3pm to 7pm.
In a matter of minutes, the carrot-top finally showed himself.
"Oh, hi, Yuri! Wait, I'll just get my keys." Yuri heard Dennis's voice, although a bit inaudible, say.
After a while, Yuri went inside the coffee shop. The place itself wasn't just a coffee shop; it was a small house in the middle of the city. Its front was modified to look like a normal coffee shop, while the back was Dennis's real home. Since he was living alone, he made use of some extra rooms he doesn't use as bed spaces to make some extra money. It was nice and all, but Yuri doesn't like it because it doesn't have a garden; only a backyard with very few plants.
"So, what're you doing here? You know I'm on half-day during Saturdays." Dennis asked as he brought Yuri to his small living room. "Wanna hang out somewhere, or…?"
"Uhh…" Yuri didn't really know how to properly explain this. "I'm not here to hang out, not that I want to, but I have something else to do."
"Okay…?"
"Can I rent a bed space? It's for something…"
Dennis gave Yuri a suspicious, creepy, look with a smile almost comparable to Yuri's own. "What's that something, Yuri? Or is it… Who's that someone?"
Yuri gave him a bored look. "Like, why'd you think that?"
"Oh don't you start dodging my questions now, Yuri. Tell me, what's it for? I have to know if I'll let you have one, and if it's for good reason. Knowing how you randomly lose your mind once in a while and… nevermind." Dennis said, whispering the last sentence.
"Sheesh, fine. I need to keep Serena somewhere—"
"WHAT!? Why?"
"—safe. Look, I'll be explaining things when I get her here. For now, can you just give me a room? Don't worry, it ain't for a bad purpose… surprisingly."
Dennis just decided to give in. He stood up and walked towards a room. "Sigh, fine. Come here."
"Okay."
When Yuri was about to take the keys, Dennis said, "But first," he raised them, "Say, 'Dennis, please give me the keys.' then, 'Thank you.' Come on, it ain't gon' be hard."
Yuri gave a big, deep, sigh as he proceeded to kneel, making Dennis raise a brow. "Oh, Dennis, my liege, with all of who I am, none but a peasant, please, give me ye fucking keys! There."
"Hmm, nah. Again. Properly, this time. And get up." Dennis said as he kicked one of Yuri's thighs. "Serena can definitely run away now, I mean, who is she to wait for a peasant, whom is begging for shelter?"
"Ow, fine. Can I have a room, please?"
"Sure." Dennis smiled, handing Yuri the keys.
"Thanks." Yuri said, going back to the door that led to the shop. "I'll be right back."
He paused. "Oh, I'm gonna leave this here." He put the case down and continued what he's about to do.
"Yeah, see you in a while." 'To think that you'd even care for another person in your life other than your brothers and I…'
After an hour or so, Dennis heard a knock on his door again. Yuri can be seen standing, a very sleepy-looking Serena leaning on him for support and one of her arms draped on his neck. A cat was also purring on their legs.
"What took you so long?"
"Sigh," Yuri pinched the bridge of his nose. "Serena took a while to wake up, and she's injured. Can you open the door again, now, please?"
"R-Right." Dennis opened the door, quite surprised at the sight that's in front of him.
"Don't. Say. Anything." Yuri warned. Dennis just nodded then looked at Serena. She did have some visible injuries, on the face and her left fist, but that's all it seemed to be.
Serena yawned. "The coffee shop? The frick…"
"Yes, the shop. Den-den has some spare rooms he puts up for rent, so I rented one… for you." Yuri said, leading her to the backdoor that leads to Dennis's living room.
"B-But what about Misty?"
Yuri looked at Dennis. "Can the cat stay, too, please?"
Dennis, wide-eyed, shook his head, and whispered, "No!"
"Please…?" Yuri begged once again.
"Ugh, fine."
"Thanks."
When they got to the bedroom, Yuri let her lay on the bed. Misty also followed."Alright, you can go to sleep now, I'm going to be treating your injuries while you do so. Please take your parka off."
"...Why?"
"So I can treat your injuries easier."
"Meow." Misty agreed.
"Hmm… make sure it's only that…" Serena mumbled as she took the parka off, and drifted off to sleep. Misty just laid down beside Serena in cat bun/croissant form.
Denis observed the two (three, if you include the cat). "She doesn't seem to be all that beaten up."
Yuri ignored him as he put the parka on the foot of the bed then went back. He lifted Serena's shirt to her waist, and at the side lies a big bruise.
"Oh my…" Dennis gasped. He has seen others worse than this, but for a girl to have one…
Misty also woke up to observe Yuri… and the bruise.
"I wasn't lying when I said she got into a fight; she got into a real fight. I saw half of it happen myself. She was already on the ground, glaring at the ones that beat her." Yuri stated. How he got there even though it was at a far part of the city was because he had followed what Blue Cat said. He got confused on the way, (when Serena entered the warehouse/building - the fighting place thing) but heard some people talking to each other and what sounded like fighting. So he decided to take a look only to find Serena.
"Do you have an ice pack or at least some ice?" Yuri asked.
"Lucky her, I do." Dennis said, walking away to get some ice.
Yuri nodded, then looked at Serena again. "Serena. I don't want you to get beaten up next time. I'm going to be honest, your facial features are stunning. How the indigo-lavender part of your hair contradicts with your lighter shade of steel blue. Your emerald-colored eyes full of life when you're happy, how it glints when you have another shenanigan in mind, or when you have another mischievous thought. Fists as hard as steel when it meets the gut, hands swift to snatch almost anything from an unsuspecting passerby. And that part of you that's serious, a face that clearly yells out, "I can fight and I will if you get too close/hurt me". Frankly, you are what I may consider…" he gulped, "Perfect."
Hearing all that, Misty did her best to not react. "Mrow…"
"I know you pack a punch, literally," he sighed. "But it doesn't give you the freedom to get into whatever fight you want. Everyone has limits, even me. What's more is that you're a girl! Not to be sexist, but… nevermind. You're prolly not even listening to me."
Outside, Dennis was a bit… bewildered. To think Yuri would find someone he himself would consider "perfect". Still, he couldn't help but laugh. Damn, though, he laughed a bit too loudly.
Yuri heard him and sighed. "Come in, will you."
Dennis stepped in the room, still laughing. "I heard everything; no wonder why Yuya said you had good English grades. Are ya always like this?"
"No. I rarely do and say such things." Yuri just stood up and took the ice pack from him. "Don't tell anyone. Even my bros don't know my soft side, except Yuya, of course."
Unbeknownst to the both of them, Serena was half awake as Yuri complimented her. She had heard everything before smirking and going back to deep sleep. 'So that's how you look at and see me, huh. Good to know.'
"Tee hee hee so you do, in fact, like her—"
"No," Yuri said, cutting him off. "I was just… complimenting her. Anyone who'd see her soft, vulnerable, and beautiful side–both the good and the bad–would think the same." Yuri explained, hoping it'd deter Dennis from his thoughts.
Sadly, though, it didn't. And Dennis continued laughing… inwardly.
"Well, you do your thing, imma go to my room, call if you need me," Dennis said as he left.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Yuri then gently placed the ice pack on Serena's bruise. 'Tssssss ahhhh…!' Serena thought. It felt like a sharp needle with weights at its other end pierced through her torso. She gripped the bed's sheets and pillow for support.
Yuri went to her knees and pulled his first-aid out and rubbed some alcohol onto his hands to rid it of germs before treating her scrapes. He then went near her face and went on cleaning the little scrapes and cuts before putting steri strips on them.
"Stupid fucking idiot," he mumbled then sighed. It's been a long time since he's treated these sorts of injuries. "Guess I'll have to tolerate and get used to this if I wanna continue being with her…"
He sighed. It's been a long time since he's treated these sorts of injuries.
The next hour-or-so, as I don't really know how long it takes to treat a badly injured person, was spent on Yuri treating Serena's injuries. From her face, to her fists–her fingerless glove from her right hand was also taken off–then checking back on her bruises, including the ones from her elbow (as she was wearing her parka after the incident, and the cage fight's floors are smooth, she wasn't wounded, only bruised).
Serena now had a bandage over her torso and fists, multiple steri strips on her face, and a square-shaped pad on the right side of her face. Her knees, good thing, were just scraped and didn't need to be covered, only cleaned and only needed some ointment to heal faster. She's now just sleeping peacefully, chest slowly moving up and down as Misty slept beside her.
He now only had to leave. "Bye, Serena…" He whispered to her ear and patted her head as he left the room.
Serena smiled faintly at the act then fell back to sleep.
"Dennis? Well, I have to go now. Cause obviously I can't really stay out long and my bros will kill me."
Dennis walked over to him. "Alright then, take care. But who's gonna take care of… her?" Dennis asked, implying the person in the room who prolly just had her first best sleep in months.
"Oh! Right…" Yuri looked at him. "Can you, please?"
"What? No! You're already leaving her in my place and now I have to take care of her!?"
"I'm paying for her to stay here. And please…! When she wakes up, give her another ice pack. If it's more than 24 hours, give her a hot compress. Tell her to put it on her big bruise then you can leave. Here, I'll give you some money for a simple cup of instant ramen to give her for dinner. And please, please guard her. If you can, lock–no, secure your doors and windows so she can't go out." Yuri begged and warned.
"And for whose protection?"
"Sigh, hers. She loves–and won't hesitate–to escape. Honestly, she never should've opened up to me. I'll come back as soon as I can tomorrow, I promise. And here are some spares for her." Yuri said, handing Dennis the case that had the pillow and blanket in it.
Misty walked up to them, stretching. "Mreow."
"Oh, and take care of the cat, too. She loves the thing so much, she'd risk her dear life saving the thing."
"Look, no. Yuri, I can't—"
"100 bucks."
"What?"
"100 bucks for taking care of her and the cat."
Dennis rolled his eyes. This seemed a bit… too much in his opinion. But he caved anyway. "Tch, fine… 150 because of the cat."
Yuri laughed then secretly glared at Misty. 'Damn thing… you're going to be the reason why I'm broke!' "125? Come on, man; it's just a cat."
Misty glared at him.
"No, I quote, 'she loves the thing so much, she'd risk her dear life saving the thing,' so 150 or no." Dennis reminded.
"Gaah, fine! I'll give the rest tomorrow, or when I have enough." Yuri growled in frustration, giving him the 100 then headed to the exit of the living room.
"Heh. You better have it by then." Dennis teased.
"I'll try." Yuri then exited the room. He wasn't one who'd endure endless arguments.
'What you're doing for her is something I have only seen you do when… that happened to Yuya. Oh well, it's nice to know you're trying to start something new.' Dennis thought as he too left to buy some instant ramen for Yuri's beloved.
Yeah… that's what he'll call her from now on.
With Yuri
"Hey." A voice called.
Yuri turned around and saw Blue Cat's tabby form, sitting and looking at him.
"Ra, I thought you were a ghost," Yuri exclaimed. "Anyway, you were right; she did end up very injured and did almost get raped. Prolly would've happened if I didn't hear 'em."
"Told ya." Blue smiled. "My senses told me it could happen."
"How did you know, anyway? If you don't mind me asking."
Blue Cat thought of it. "I just… Felt it? Felt that something bad would happen. Oh, and thanks for saving Master, by the way. What you did now was way more than I expected, by the way."
"You're welcome, cat. I'll get going now." Yuri said as he left.
"Bye, see ya!" Blue said before floating away.
A/N: Sooo yeah, we have Blue Cat! What else did ya expect? Anyway, hope ya liked it. This went through a whole lot of thought and editing (don't they all, though?) so hopefully its fine.
Don't forget to review/comment/PM to suggest a better melodious monster for Yuzu.
Speaking of Yuzu, next chapter will have some fruitshipping in it, so stay tuned!
