Paragliding:
'Tara' he yelled.
'What?!' she yelled back
'Can we please not do this?' he pleaded to her
'No'
'Tara, have you gone mad?' he yelled at her
'No, just a little crazy' she retorted
'There are a lot of other ways to die' he pleaded.
'Then let's try this one.' She grinned.
'Why?' her boyfriend whined
'You're the one that said and I quote 'we live together, we die together''
'Oh, come on?' he cried 'I am a bloody idiot' he said, cursing himself
'No, you're a wuss. Now get moving' she said as she pushed him off the cliff and parachute rose as they ran and jumped. As they glided through the mountains 'I love you, Sareen' she yelled.
...
Mycroft stirred awake when he felt a cold hand on his shoulder. He smiled and turned to face the person, whose hand it was. He opened his eyes and gave her a sleepy smile. The sunlight shined brightly on her face, making it hard to see a part of her face. She beamed at him. She looked like she had been awake for quite some time, for there was no sleep in her eyes.
'Good Morning, Sleepy head' she said as she rose a little, resting her head on her hand, propped up on her elbow.
'Good Morning, dear' his voice groggy from sleep.
'We overslept' she whispered.
'Yes, we did' He blinked a little, trying to adjust to the brightness of his bedroom. He fixed his gaze on her, lost in thought. If the woman in front of him wasn't completely naked, he would've sworn the previous night had been nothing but an inappropriate but vivid dream. He smiled to himself as he let the memories creep into his head.
'What are you thinking?' she asked.
'Wondering if this a stupid dream' he told her as he brought his hand up to her face, cupping her cheek. His thumb caressing it as if making sure she was real.
She chuckled lightly and pinched his arm.
'What was that for?' he asked and laughed.
She laughed 'See. I am real. I am here for real. I am right here.' She told him with a smile.
He laughed and shook his head. 'Come here.' he said pulling her closer to him.
She smiled and snuggled into his chest, tucking her head under his chin. Her soft hair tickled his chin. He breathed in the scent of her hair. Lavender. His fingers played with her wavy hair, defeated by their silkiness as they kept slipping away.
'We should get up' he said.
'I want to stay here, like this for a while.' She told him. She wanted to stay in this moment forever, not wanting it to ever end. She embraced his warmth, snuggling deeper.
'We really should get up' Mycroft told her.
'Just one more minute' she said, tightening her embrace.
He sighed and stayed in bed with her. The room was completely silent. The only thing that was heard was their breathing. That was until Tara's stomach rumbled.
He chuckled 'We must do something about that at the very least.'
'That wasn't me. I am not hungry' she told him defensively.
'Your stomach says otherwise' he chuckled.
'We don't have to get out of bed, you know?' she said with a sly smile. But her stomach betrayed her, growling again.
He laughed again. 'Let's get you fed. I'll make waffles. And top it off with raspberries and then we can continue this' he said as he got on top of her and kissed her neck.
She wrapped her hands around his neck, a slight moan escaping her lips 'That does sound good.'
...
Time passed quickly when they were together. Without them realizing it was already dark. They hadn't left the room all day after breakfast.
'We should get something to eat. We even skipped lunch' he told her. She didn't move a muscle. 'Come on we need to eat. Get ready, I'll take you out for dinner.'
'Make me' she challenged with a smirk.
He accepts the challenges and gets out of bed. He lifts her in his arms and takes her to the bathroom. He makes her stand under the shower and turns it on.
'Be quick' he tells her with a playful smirk and leaves.
When she was done, she walked out to find Mycroft almost dressed and a beautiful red dress laid out on the bed. She looked at Mycroft and raised an eyebrow.
'It's for you' he stated in an obvious manner
'I know that, Mycroft. But you didn't have to' she told him. She didn't like being showered with gifts. She didn't want to be adored or coddled.
'I know but I wanted to' He fixed his tie one last time, turning to her 'Hurry up, I'll wait outside' he kissed her and left the room.
When she got dressed and left the room, Mycroft's jaw dropped as he looked at her from head to toe.
'If you're done admiring my beauty, can we go? I am starving' she teased him.
'You look stunning.' He told her 'Shall we?' he asked and led her outside.
...
'Good to have you back, Mr. Holmes'. The waiter said to Mycroft with a smile as he led the couple to their table.
'Thank you, Stephan' Mycroft said as he sat down.
'Sir, Madame, would you like to see the wine list?' he asked and offered the wine list.
'No, thank you, I'll just have a glass of the 2001 St Emilion' Mycroft said without missing a beat and then looked over at Tara. 'Or should we get a bottle?' he asked.
'Oh, definitely get a bottle' she said cockily.
Stephan brought them the wine and filled their glasses as they browsed through the menu.
'This is a nice place' Tara told Mycroft.
'It is.' Mycroft said absent-mindedly skimmed through the menu.
'So, you must be a regular here.' Tara said as she took a sip of her wine.
'Yes, the food's good and I bring a lot of colleagues for meetings' Mycroft told her as he browsed through the menu.
'Just colleagues?' she teased.
At that Mycroft looked up and blinked 'Let's not go there' Mycroft warned her.
...
'Was everything okay?' Stephan asked as he cleared their table.
'It was perfect, Stephan. Thank you' Mycroft told the man.
'Always good to see you, Sir' he smiled and left.
'I liked it too' Tara said as the man left, causing Mycroft to smile in amusement.
'It's getting a little late. Do you want to head back?' Mycroft asked after taking a look at his pocket watch.
'Oh, okay, well, let's get the check' Tara said and reached for her purse.
Mycroft stopped her 'I already took care of it'
Tara frowned at that 'That's not right.'
'No, it's fine. I asked you out.' The expression on her face made him think about his next choice of words 'You can get the check next time' he said doubtfully.
She shot him an approving smile.
