Chapter 4

"I don't like it," Steve said to Tony quietly.

"What Rock of Ages giving up so easily?" Tony asked snarkily.

"That's just it. They never give up that easily. Especially not with tricksters," Kagome stressed to him.

"How would you know?" Tony asked her pointedly.

"Because my adopted son is a Kitsune. A trickster in nature, and when he wants something or motivated enough. He never gives up," Kagome whispered.

"Well I don't know, and hold up a son?" Tony asked flabbergasted.

"Dad there is a lot I need to tell you, but not here. Ok? We will talk later," Kagome stressed, sounding exhausted.

"She is right, not in front of him," Steve agreed with her standing beside her.

"You could have told me," Tony whispered angrily.

"I was, but after the misunderstanding with the boyfriend thing," Kagome said with a pointed look.

"Wait, what happened?" Steve asked curiously.

"Nothing," Tony snapped.

"If you reacted that way, how would you react to your daughter having to fight literal demons every day," Kagome whispered back angrily.

"I would have taken you away and hid you somewhere safe," he answered honestly.

"Exactly, I have a job to do as the Shikon Miko, and Lady of the West. I couldn't let your protectiveness interfere," she whispered harshly.

"Stark, If she has a job, a duty, you need to trust her," Steve said to him placing a hand on her shoulder. Showing his support for her."Besides Fury didn't tell me he was calling you in," Steve said in a serious tone.

"Yeah, there are a lot of things Fury hasn't told you," he said critically.

Then the lightning storm appeared around them. They noticed Loki looking a bit scared.

"What's the matter? Scared of a little lightning?" Steve asked Loki curiously.

"I am not overly fond of what follows it," Loki said, a bit scared.

'Great,' Kagome thought as something landed on the Quinjet's roof. Her dad put on his helmet, while Steve pulled his mask over the top of his head. Kagome pulled up her mask. Her father hit the button opening the hangar door. Where a man that looked like Fabio landed. Tony tried to blast him but was thrown back, hitting Steve and Kagome. He grabbed Loki and flew out of the Quinjet.

"I said it was too easy," Kagome groaned.

"And now there's that guy," her dad said annoyed.

"Another Asgardian?" Natasha asked over the storm.

"That guy's friendly?" Steve asked, helping Kagome stand back up.

"Doesn't matter if he frees or kills Loki. the Tesseract is lost," Tony said heading for the mouth of the ship.

"Dad, wait, " Kagome called getting up.

"Stark we need a plan of attack," Steve called as they watched him walk away.

"I've gotta plan, attack," he said over his shoulder, then blasting off. "Kagome Stay Put," he called over his shoulder. Kagome groaned but made a b-line for the parasites.

"I think you should sit this one out Cap, Kags. These guys come from Legend, they are gods," Natasha called to them as Steve and Kagome strapped on their parasites.

"There is only one God ma'am, and I am pretty sure he doesn't dress like that," Steve said heading to the hanger's mouth, Kagome following and jumping into the storm.

When they landed, Kagome sensed her father's aura and Loki's. "They are about a mile that way," Kagome said pointing West. "Dad is fighting the Asgardian, and Loki," she said her eyes closed. "Is all alone, dang it Dad," she called sprinting in that direction. "Steve, you break up the fight. I will get Loki," Kagome said over her shoulder as she ran in Loki's direction.

"Yes ma'am," he nodded and began running towards the conflict.

"Go southwest and you will come across them. I will go this way and grab Loki," Kagome ordered over her com. She sprinted coming up behind Loki with an arrow drawn and aimed.

"If I were you, I wouldn't move or I might hit an artery," Kagome said deadly serious. Loki put his hands up and slowly turned around. "Nat, track my beacon. I've got Loki," Kagome said in an ice-cold tone.

"The Shikon Miko," Loki said sounding pleased. "You above all people should be kneeling before me," he said smiling evilly at her.

"Sorry, but no. I am The Shikon Miko, I protect the earth from people like you. But I have noticed something, and has bothered me for a while," she said in a tone similar to Sesshomaru's.

"And what would that be Priestess?" Loki asked trying to seduce her. Her kind is usually easy to seduce.

"Who is pulling your strings?" She asked smirking. Especially when his eyes darkened in anger. 'Bingo,' she thought. "The way you talk about enlightenment, and glorious duty, all tell me someone has told you these things. So tell me puppet who pulls your strings?" She asked as the Quinjet landed behind her. Natasha came out and dragged Loki on board. He was glaring at Kagome the whole time. She was observant and more than human. Loki then smirked evilly as the thought popped into his head. 'She'd make a wonderful queen', he thought mischievously. He watched her till she was out of sight. After shoving Loki onto the ship again, and strapping him insecurely. She returned to Kagome, who was sheathing her arrow.

"Nice job Kags," she smiled at her. Kagome knew that was far more than capturing Loki. She had gotten a bit of information out of him, without him even talking.

"No prob Nat, " Kagome smiled at her. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go break up the idiot fight," Kagome sighed sensing that Steve got dragged into the squabble.

"Need a lift," Natasha smirked at her.

"Nah," Kagome smiled, then taking off in the direction of the fighting.

Kagome soon came to her dad, Steve, and the man that looks like Fabio fighting. Kagome took out her arrow, charged it with her Miko, and fired it. She aimed for the middle of the three men. It hit the ground shining a bright light. Temporally blinding them and blasting them back. They all three looked up to see an annoyed and ice-cold kagome.

"If you're done with your pointless squabble, children. I suggest you start acting like the grown men you are," Kagome said scolding them coldly. "If you two," she pointed at Fabio and her dad, "had noticed. You left Loki alone and unguarded. He could have run away, but no. You had to fight like children over a new toy. So get your heads out of your asses and think. Steve, I asked you to stop the fight. Not join in," Kagome said, lecturing the men thoroughly.

"I tried, but he attacked me," Steve said pointing to Fabio.

"After you asked him to put down his hammer," Tony countered.

"Really? You attacked him because of some hammer. Geez, " kagome tasked.

"My sincere apologies priestess. I did not mean to anger you," he said bowing his head to her. "I am Thor son of Oden," Thor said bowing to her. Tony and Steve's jaws were dropped at the sight.

"I am Kagome Higurashi, The Shikon Miko, Sister Of Lord Sesshomaru of the western lands, and Daughter of Tony Stark," Kagome introduced herself regally "Would you please explain to us why you had come, and taken our prisoner?" Kagome asked jumping down to face him.

"It is an honor to meet the Legendary Shikon Miko. My father spoke very highly of you," Thor said taking her hand and lightly kissing it.

"I know, your father attempted to arrange for me to be betrothed to his eldest son. I am guessing that be you," she said nodding as she took her hand back.

"Aye, but I am grateful you had refused. I love a mortal named Jane Foster," he said with a spark in his eyes.

"I simply did not want to marry a man I have never met," Kagome shrugged. "But you're avoiding my question," Kagome said, crossing her arms.

Tony was growing impatient, aggravated, and shocked. His little princess is acting like a legit princess, all regal, and stuff. Also, what were those titles she used? On top of that, his Little Princess and Point Break are having a polite conversation like they are at a gala.

Steve meanwhile was just impressed by her regalness, and ability to handle this situation peacefully.

"I have come for my brother, and bring him home. So he can face Asgardian law," Thor told her in an upset tone.

"I understand that, but he had stolen the Tesseract from S.H.I.E.L.D, along with brainwashing a lot of good people, good warriors. We need him to find them and bring them back to their senses. If you could wait patiently while we search for them," Kagome negotiated.

"Then Loki will be given to me, and I can bring him to Asgard?" Thor asked her pointedly.

"Yes, I swear it upon my honor as a Miko and lady of the West," Kagome nodded. "Though I am not held responsible if the greasy eel escapes," Kagome smiled as she shook his hand. Thor gave out a thunderous laugh at that comment.

"I wouldn't dream of it, Priestess, he is quite the trickster," he laughed.

"Indeed," Kagome smiled politely. She then turned to the shocked men. "That's how grown-ups solve a problem," she said as the Quinjet landed.
