I wasn't going to post another Moment so soon but this idea would not leave me alone so here we are!
I also want to take a quick moment to thank y'all for the reviews on this and everything else I write. I can't tell you how much they mean to me. Thank you so much! 3
Disclaimer: Totally Spies isn't mine. If it were, Sam would be Mrs. Scam. That is all.

The Little Things
"Tim?! Tim, are you okay? Can you hear me?!" Sam frantically called out.
Glancing at the cave wall before her and then down at her X-powder in her palm, she confirmed that the little red dot that was blinking, tracking him via the Applique Tracking Device she'd placed on him in case they separated which was telling her that he was here.
But she couldn't see any trace of him. She tried and tried again, shouting out his name and praying for him to respond to her but after a few moments of doing that, with her throat raw from screaming she felt completely hopeless.
Worried sick for him, she was just about to cry when her ears picked up on a sound. It was very low and muffled but it was there.
"...Tim?" She said slowly biting her lip in apprehension and cautiously stepping closer and placing her green-gloved hand against the wall before pressing her ear up against it. Her eyes widened when this time she heard it as clear as day, her name being said from the other side.
Hope sparking in her chest, she reached into her pocket for her laser lipstick. She wasn't sure how effective it would be at cutting rocks away but she had to try because it was all she had.
Carefully aiming the laser beam, it took some time but with effort she was able to make a line. With her fingers she pried at the crack she made, a fingernail broke in her struggle but soon enough she managed in breaking off a piece of the wall.
And from behind it, the unmistakable glimmer of her husband's oceanic sea green gaze stared back at her, looking exhausted but still as breathtaking as ever.
"Tim!" Sam cried both in joy at finally finding him and panic at the situation he was in. Determined to get him out she used her lipstick to cut away as much of the stone as she could. Although difficult, she was making decent progress until her gadget suddenly fizzed and gave out.
Sealing her eyes in agony Sam knew it was useless. These walls were just too thick to be penetrated with any sort of ease. Whenever she tracked them down, she was going to kill the ones responsible for doing this to him.
"Forget it Sam," she heard him whisper. "I'm trapped, save your energy."
But she ignored his words, refusing to do nothing to help and bared her teeth now using her bare hands. She kept at it for as long as she could, her arms aching from the effort but she was only able to chip away a small amount at a time, not being nearly strong enough to do this all by herself. Still she didn't stop until she had him freed up until his waist so he could at least breathe a little better.
"Can you move at all?" She asked then, knowing that if he could then Tim had enough strength to break himself free.
"Can't, sorry," he breathed out, as he tried once more at her behest to escape only to get no where. Both his arms and his legs were still held firmly in place and he couldn't move them at all no matter how much he squirmed. And without them, there was no way he was going to be able to get out.
Sam looked at him sadly, her lips in a sad frown as she took in the condition he was in. Noting how his handsome face was smudged with cave dirt and covered with sweat making his brown bangs stick to his forehead she soon took off her gloves and used her hands to try and clean him up not caring how dirty and stained her own fingers got in the process.
"I'm ... sorry," she whispered when she was done, bowing her head and feeling guilty.
"Don't." Tim said firmly, determined to make her believe it. He would not allow her to blame herself for them getting separated and him getting ambushed after. After all she had just been following the plan that he had helped devise and agreed on. "It's not your fault."
A long sigh left her, unable to help but feel he was wrong about that and that she at least should accept partial blame. "I've called WOOHP," she said, not meeting eyes with him. "Help will be here soon and then we can get you out."
As she said that she couldn't stop herself from cursing at WOOHP and especially Jerry inside her head. To say that she was mad at him was a massive understatement. He knew what today was and how important it was to her and Tim and yet he'd still disregarded everything and given them a grueling mission.
And now? Well now as a result of that same mission her love was held prison inside a wall with no time estimate of when he'd be released.
"...What a way to spend our one month anniversary," she mumbled sounding exactly as bummed out and miserable as she felt.
And watching her sulk, Tim felt even worse. He absolutely hated seeing his Sammie so sad and letdown.
"Hey cheer up, will ya? At least we're together," he tried saying but Sam shook her head "no" vehemently while battling with herself to hold back the tears of frustration that were now prickling her emerald eyes and threatening to fall.
No matter how much he tried to put a positive spin on this she knew it wasn't true. This was not them being together. Them being barely face to face was not being together. He was trapped and in pain even if he was trying to hide it from her; she could still tell he was because she could recognize the subtle signs of stress on his face.
She had had such plans for today, such hopes and dreams and this was how it had ended up being. A total and utter train-wreck, nothing at all that even vaguely resembled the day of love and romance she had been longing and marking off days on the calendar for.
"It's not fair..." she muttered sounding broken, a tear actually tricking down her cheek now and falling. Another one soon followed and then another and she didn't even bother trying to stop them anymore.
"It's just not fair," she sobbed, covering her face with her hands. She had known when she chose to marry another WOOHP agent that it would come with challenges that few if any other couples would ever face.
But this? This was just ridiculous. WOOHP was always getting in the way, always stealing away all their precious moments and ruining any plans they made.
Reminded of WOOHP again she glared only angrier that they weren't showing up now when she actually needed them. Why wasn't WOOHP here yet? What was the hold up?!
Growling to herself she called Jerry again and gave him a earful, yelling at him to hurry up.
And listening to her do that Tim could tell how stressed and upset she was. She was yelling at Jerry as if he was the one who had placed him in within this cave with his own two hands, as if he had known exactly how this mission was going to go and send them on it anyway, neither of which was true of course and he knew Sam knew that also. She was a logical person who was normally calm and collected but she was still human and had her limits.
When it came to them, their marriage, and the well being of their relationship, she was fiercely protective of everything about it, especially him. So whether or not Jerry had directly done this, she was still going to hold him responsible and be mad unless he cheered her up somehow.
At that thought, his eyes lit up as he remembered something that might help.
"Hey ... can I ask you to do something for me?"
"Anything!" Sam responded with urgency, hastily putting away her X-powder and giving him all her attention.
"Can you reach into my coat?" He asked and Sam stopped sulking for a second and wondered if he had a more useful weapon in there that would help get him out. Which to be honest was like Tim to be prepared and have a backup just in case they'd need it.
"Have another gadget?" She asked, hopeful as she wiped away her tears.
"Just do it, will ya?" She heard him say and she nodded carefully crawling her hands into the cramped space and moving her hands against his body under the fabric of his coat.
"The left side," she heard him direct her search but still she couldn't feel any gadgets being there and that left her unsure of what exactly she was looking for.
Suddenly she stopped when she finally felt something tucked there between the inside of his breast pocket and against Tim's chest. It was soft and very, very delicate.
Carefully, very carefully she pulled it out and was left wide-eyed and stunned at what was now held limply between her fingers.
It was a flower. Her favourite flower: A pure, white lily.
"..."
Her jaw parted in awe she stared at the semi-squashed, half-wilted thing which was now missing two, almost three petals and then back up at Tim speechlessly.
"I picked it for you when we first landed in Puglia," he explained while watching her face closely. "I know it's not the diamond tennis bracelet that I wanted to surprise you with today, but I was hoping it would at least put a smile on your face in case we didn't get home in time for our actual planned celebration."
Listening to his admission Sam honestly didn't know what to say. Here he was in this haggard state practically suffocating and still ... all he cared about was making her feel better. Somehow, someway he had still found a way to show her that he loved her on the one month anniversary of them being husband and wife.
And she didn't have the words to tell him just how much this little gesture, this half torn flower was worth to her. Much more than all the diamonds in the world.
Her heart turning to mush inside her chest, Sam started shaking as her tears fell again but this time they were of sheer happiness.
"Oh Tim!" She cried out a moment later, overwhelmed and soon forgetting that he had little room to even breathe right now as she threw herself on him and squeezed him to her tightly while thanking him over and over again.
"Easy there," he coughed after just a few seconds of her doing that, his lungs straining.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She said apologetically as she blushed and pulled back immediately giving him puppy dog eyes to prove how much she was.
Laughing at her cute face, it took him some effort but he managed to crane his neck out a little so that she could at least kind of kiss him as a consolation. And it took every ounce of her willpower to just give him a quick peck on his lips and nothing more.
When she separated from him again Tim spoke once more.
"I will take a rain-check on that thank you you want to give me though." He managed a small chuckle and a sly wink. "Redeemable immediately upon my getting out of here of course."
And Sam was forced to finally laugh at her husband's words, any sadness she'd felt before now gone.
Moving and resting her forehead against his, cradling his face affectionately and looking at him with half-lidded, loving eyes as she heard the familiar buzz of WOOHP helicopters finally announcing their arrival in the air nearby, Sam smiled at him and winked back.
"You got it baby."
Am I the only one who gushes over them? xD
Anyway, another chapter update coming soon! Might as well keep writing while I'm on a roll haha. :P
