("All by myself" by Eric Carmen plays)

The lovelorn, saddened Pepé Le Pew wandered through the streets of Paris. Since it was now raining, his fur was now sipping wet. His heart was torn to pieces at the fact his love was now forever gone.

Pepé wondered what exactly Penny saw in a cat like Marcel. The last he saw him, Marcel appeared to be nothing more than an egotistical jerk.

Pepé also wondered exactly why Marcel liked her to begin with.

The words of Pepé's father were greatly recalled by the skunk, that, "everyone needs to be loved, even a skunk." Those words seemed like hot, steaming garbage now.

"PHOOEY!" Pepé kicked a can. "Zat ees…not…true."

Pepé started at his hands for a moment—they were starting to stiffen due to stress. Everyone deserves to be loved, yes, but real love takes gradual time.

He'd gone on a date with Penny. He'd even kissed her. Marcel had not.

"Oui…" Pepé thought, realizing the situation now. "I must return to Madame Penny! Who knows what zat cat ees doing to her right now…"

And with that, Pepé ran all the way back to the Moulin Rouge, ready to defend his one and only, no matter what the peril or cost.
