Chapter 3: The light provides!

"My goodness, gracious!" a floating star shell phases out from its hidden realm. Bringing shock, and awe to the Djinn sisters due to its sudden introduction. As for the Golden Eliksni he was shocked to see his partner speak. " You are hopeless as ever, guardian…"

"W-who are you?" Amira asks with caution as she hides her younger sister behind her. When the Floating shell notices their worried eyes, her hostile aura quickly shifts into a friendly to ease the tension between them.

"Oh dear oh dear, where are my manners!?" the floating shell said in a feminine voice as she flew closer to them. Then, she spun its star-like shell as a gesture of adjusting its mood. " Forgive me for my sudden emergence, Ahem! My name is Eureka, and I am a ghost of Ragnar. A long time comrade, and a family of mine."

"I am Pariya" the younger Djinn shyly introduces herself as she meekly hides behind the sleeve of her elder.

" Amira, her elder sister.." the oldest sibling said, and still feel hesitant around this strange being.

"Oh, you two are siblings. How sweet…" Eureka cheerly chirps, and motions its two pointy shell limb, acting as an invitation to shake her. " I am pleased to meet you."

The ghost kind voice, and her cute body movements are good enough to thaw the ice between them. So, the Djinn sisters shake its pointy shell without any worries.

"Nu Dru Skid!?....(You can speak!?)" The Golden Kell shouts like a demon that echoes from hell. Which brings the Djinn girls trembling in fear, wondering whether they did something wrong to him or to the floating shell. Although, Eureka can only sigh in disbelief for hearing an odd question from the Titan fallen.

"Of course, I can speak!" Eureka shouts back with her eyes flared in fire.

"UK!? (HOW!?)" The Golden Kell obviously asks back. Why? Because in the game, a ghost cannot speak regularly besides from its scripted events. So, for him hearing Eureka actually talking outside her scripts is something that he can't comprehend. Thanks to this, it made him wonder how far between the game, and reality, bent on this universe.

"H-How!? HAVE YOU FINALLY LOST YOUR MARBLES, TITAN!?" The ghost's sudden outburst brought a terrible quake on the Kell, and the Djinn girls. Never thought that this little light is capable of shouting like an angry god. They both wonder how much this thing can do if this little light pushes to its limit. Actually, they don't want to witness that. So the Djinn girls, and Kell both agreed to themselves not to pissed off this little gal.

"Is everything alright, Eureka? Is this about us…" Pariya chimed in, hoping that they didn't offend them.

"No my dear, no…." Eureka demon aura swiftly changes to angelic tone. "Well...how should I explain this?...Let me give you a picture….one day you walk down in a dark, and foreboding temple. Then, as you wander in these eerie halls. You stumbled yourself with a sphere that was purely covered in dark magic, and an aura of death. What will you do?"

'Is she talking about the time that I am trying to solve the puzzle in the hidden realm…' The golden Eliksni lift up his azure eyes when he heard that familiar tale, and remembered those exact moments that happened to them.

"Ummm… not to touch it." Pariya states the obvious of the foreboding traits of such objects.

"I know right, it's common sense! However, this jarhead behind me thought otherwise, and decided to touch it!" Eureka bouncing around the air in anger while the Golden Kell plants his palm on his mask as he remembers the embarrassing failure that he caused. " Thanks to him, that blasted curse mute my voice for too long!"

"Why would he do that?" Amira rubs her chin, and feels disbelief that such a person will take an obvious risk.

Of course, the ghost understood her view, but little did she know that a guardian is a type of being that is willing to take any risk even if it's foolish. After all they are immortal, thanks to the light. So, they are willing to die to any plan just to overcome the challenges on their path. Even if the plan is sounds dumb...That is why these Djinn girls will never understand that because the guardians are not very known in this foreign world. So, Eureka can only answer in a vague, and humorous way.

"Dunno, maybe this Fallen Titan ate too many crayons in his lifetime.." Eureka deeply hums in a mischievous way. However her jokes left the Djinn sisters clueless from her reply. Since this joke is only known between guardians, mostly for mocking the intelligent capacity of the Titan.

" Dav Fus Skad! (I heard that!)"

"What did he say?" Amira tilts her head, and she is curious of what the Golden Eliksni said.

"Ah! I'll let him answer that question!" Eureka dives in the chest of the Golden Eliksni which makes him gasp for air as he feels the essence of his spirit being pushed out from his body. After that, the ghost flies out from his body as it bounces in the air. "That's done!"

"As I said, I heard that…'' The Golden Fallen successfully speaks in the native language of this new world. Yet when he speaks in their tongue, the Djinn sisters can't help, but notice the clicking like an insect voice that his tongue makes. A sign that he is struggling to speak in their language, but still impressive enough to manage to talk clearly. Although, they wonder why his voice is clicking…..what kind of face lies behind the mask?...time will tell they thought.

"Y-you can speak like us!" The Djinn sisters jolted to their surprise, with both of their dazzling eyes, stare at him, and amaze how quickly he learns their language.

"I am glad I did…" The golden eliksni shifts his gaze over at his partner, and makes a request for her. "Eureka, I want you to share this translation module to everyone…"

"Of course, Ragnar. I already sent it to our scribe, and to my fellow ghosts.."

"Ragnar….your name is not solis?" Pariya asks nervously when she realizes that they made a mistake with his name.

"Aye! Solis is the title of my house that I belonged to. Correction, I am Ragnar. One of the proud warriors of the house of light." Ragnar lies about his role in the house. The reason he didn't tell his rank is because he wants to avoid unnecessary tension between them. After all, he is here to make them feel comfortable around him so he can communicate with them in ease.

"Forgive us, Mr. Ragnar for making a mistake." Amira gives her apologetic bow as she grabs her young sister's head to bow down too.

"Worry not, we all make small mistakes." Ragnar waves his hand to dismiss the topic as he lets them know that their error is not a big deal to him. So, the siblings sigh in relief, and are glad that their savior is a kind creature. "Enough of this small matter. Tell me why these metal men are chasing you?"

Hearing this question made the elder djinn grit her teeth in anger, reminding her that these men are the reason why she, and her sister are now clanless. After all, they gave everything they had to these men, and they repaid them by destroying her clan. That reason alone is enough to boil her blood.

"I don't know...all I know is that they attacked my family, and burned my home." Amira answers with spiteness in her voice as she stares at the ashes of her enemies with a deadly glare.

"Wait, these men attacked your home?" Ragnar, and his ghost look at each other's eyes as they realize that the situation is more grim than they thought.

"Yes...we just recently escaped from our village, and chase us till here. I thought we were both going to die here, but thanks to you we are saved from our terrible fate." Amira hugs her younger sister dearly as she sticks her sister's head closer to her heart. Feeling glad that she didn't lose the only family she has left.

"This is not good...if your village is still under attack that means there are some of them still wandering around." Ragnar gestures to his upper, and lower limbs to come with him. "Let us go, and find you girls a safe place to stay."

"No, we can't leave them yet!"

Pariya let go of her sister's embrace, and ran towards the Golden Fallen. Then, she bravely grabs on her solar cape with her begging eyes stare at the four eyes of the Eliksni. "My mother, and my clan are still in the village, and they are still alive. Please save them! please I beg you, Ragnar."

"Pariya, you!? We are in no place to make demands" Amira grabs her sister away from him, and covers her mouth. "Forgive my sister's foolishness, Mr. Ragnar. I swear we will not make that mistake again."

The ghost looks over her side, and notices her guardian staring blankly as he ponders his decision. "Guardian, I know that the house has no obligation over these people, and they don't come from the city, but as lightwielder it is our duty to help the lightless. After all, this is what we, and your friend stood for, right?"

"Misraaks…." Ragnar lifts his chin as he remembers his best friend, and gazes back from the past when they met….

"Damn it...another ambush. They almost got us...almost."

The two battered Eliksni guardians stood side by side while they were surrounded by the corpses of the guardians. These Fallens both equipped with the armor of the captain, however their color is differ from one another. Foretold that these guardians belong to a different kind of group.

"Why do they keep doing these, aren't we all guardians?" Eliksni in purple shakes his head, and sighs in disappointment.

"Simple, it's because you are ugly, and beautiful." The blue Eliksni laughs with a chittering voice as he reaches out his hands to his battered friend.

"Hur, hur, hur, funny…" the purple Eliksni shakes his head as he lets out an unamused sigh. Then, he shakes the stranger's hand with a small grin behind his mask. "Joke aside, thanks for the assistance friend. The name is Ragnar from house of dusk...and you are?"

"Misraaks, a former house of wolves. Now bannerless…" Misraaks said with a thousand yard stare while he clenched on the blue scarf on his neck.

Ragnar observes the corpses of his enemies, and recognizes the insignia of their cloak, banner, and coat. "These guys are from the warlord's clan."

"Yes, the only clan that is dedicated to hunting fallen guardians."

"Dickheads!" Ragnar kicks the titan corpse before him. "I know that there is no repercussion of killing guardian Eliksni, but as a fellow guardian that kinda a dick move"

"What can you do? The Warlords are a bunch of Corpo brats. So, their greed is in their blood.'' Misraaks shakes his head, and is disappointed how men went so low in this cruel world.

"Preach" Ragnar raises his fist in agreement.

"Fear not, soon these evil doers will meet their justice because here, we have power." Misraak said as he stood before the stars with his eyes reaching for the starry night, with his cape fluttering with hope.

"A power?"

"Yes, we have the power of the Guardians! With it, we can build a place where everyone matters, and is equal. Where every Eliksni, lightless, and lightwielder is welcome, and fair. A place where everyone can call home." Misraaks stare at his friend, with his eyes shining like stars.

"And that place is?"

"The house of light!" Misraaks offers his hand to his fellow Eliksni."So, are you willing to stand with me, and build this home together?"

"Why not? I think it's worth a shot." Ragnar accepts his offer, and shakes his hand as he looks forward to their future. Thinking that maybe that they can really make a change in this world.

"This will not be a cakewalk. There will be more enemies in this road, than allies. There will be hardship, and there will be death...a lot of death."

"Wow...now you mention it, I REALLY looking forward to that" Ragnar replied with a sarcastic tone as he shrunk his shoulders.

"Ahahahaha! Worry not my friend!" Misraaks taps his friend's shoulder as he lets out a joyful laugh. "The light provides!"

"So we shall…" Ragnar mutters under his breath as he finds his newfound resolve.

"Will you…help us, please?" Pariya asks again.

"We are the House of light." Ragnar proudly stands tall while the light shines behind him, basking the sisters with a ray of hope. "There is no plea that we do not answer, there is no light that we betrayed. You ask us to aid your people, the House Solis accepts."

"Oh, Ragnar! Thank you, Thank you so much."

Pariya hugs the giant eliksni as the tears of joy fall from her eyelids. As for the Golden Titan, he is clueless of how to respond to this surprised hug. After all, it's been a long time since he was hugged by someone he is close with, which made this warm embrace so foreign to him…yet familiar at the same time. It reminds him of…

"Umm…as much I am happy to hear you, willingly to help us, but…" Amira said, and interrupted the golden eliksni from his deep thought which made his four eyes focus on the elder. "How do the four of us stand against the army..let alone save my people?"

The Golden eliksni, and the ghost look at each for a second, and shift their eyes on the Djinn sisters as they reply in their confident tone together.

"Fear not"

"Don't worry!"

""The light provides!""

Meanwhile at the Village…

"Hold! Hold! Our people depend on us…hold them off!" Chief Talas shouts as she loose her bow along with her Eihon warriors who desperately fighting alongside with her

In this burning village, an army of knights flock over the walls of the village temple as they exchange their arrows, and insults between the knights, and the warriors of Eihon clan. However, it seems like the overwhelming numbers of knights is having a hard time breaching the wall, and the tenacity of the locals is proving too much for them. Which is not something that they can't tolerate, because wasting more time, and men is an expensive cost for their resources. That is not something that they can't waste.

"Captain, shall we burn the temple!" the knight suggests the officer who is wearing red decorative armor, and red plume on his helmet.

"No we can't risk killing the chief….we need her alive!" the captain retorts.

"Captain!"

A messenger appears behind the Captain, and whispers something in his ears. Then, a disturbing smile grew inside the helmet of the Captain.

"Chief look!"

Chief Talas looks below her, and observes the invaders falling back from the gate, and wall. Then, the knights return back to their defensive formation with their shield raised in the air, and cautiously waiting for something.

"Cease fire! Cease fire!" Chief Talas raises her hand with an open palm to stop her men from wasting their arrows. Once everyone lowers their bows, the Djinn chieftain notices a red knight in decorative armor emerge from the crowd of her enemies. "What in the underworld are they planning?"

"Chief Talas, I offer you an accord! Surrender now, in return I will spare you, and your people."

"An accord from the snake! you think I will be fooled by you. Away, away you bastards!" Chief Talas furiously shouts back, along with her men shouting their battle cry, and insults. For they are confident that these fools will never reach their people for they are escaping through the secret tunnel of the temple. So, all they can do now is buy them more time, and this short talk is a blessing for delaying them more.

"I see then this will convince you!"

The chieftain Djinn drops her jaw, while her pale pupil dilates when she recognizes the man, and girl emerging from the crowd. That man was no other than her second in command, and his daughter.

"He is still alive?"

"I thought he was dead?"

"Oh no it can't be, Chief Talas look!"

The Djinn warriors look at each other, and share the same faces of concern. While the Chief Talas froze in fear when she realized where this was going.

"No! No! No! How did they, how did they!?"

The men of Eihon fall in despair when they witness a group of people emerging more from the crowd of enemies. Beyond their eyes of despair, they helplessly watch their own wives, daughters, sons, and elders being held by the knights as they send them to kneel one by one.

"I am sorry, Chief! I am sorry Chief!" The Djinn traitor cries in despair, hoping that they will forgive him. "I can't let them have my daughter, so I tell them…I know this is wrong, but please you have to understand this is the only way for me, and my daught….no for all of us to survive. So, please listen to him."

"You damn rat!"

"Fuckin traitor!"

The warrior of Eihon cries in anger, and insults the rat from the depths of their hatred hearth while the chieftain stands silently with a thousand yard stare as she realizes that her clan is doomed, and the hope abandoned them.

The Captain signal on of his men which led the two knights grabs the father, and the daughter

"What are you doing! What are you doing!?"

"Father! Father!"

"Kill them…"

"Noooooo!"

The knights slit the throats of the traitor, and her daughter without any hesitation. Then, they toss them together so they can watch each other drowning in their own blood before they die. Of course, this cruel execution made the people of Eihon cry in fear, and beg the chieftain to surrender.

"Chief, enemy behind us!"

The chieftain, and her warriors look back to the temple, and witness a dozen knights emerge from the temple gate as they surround them from all the sides.

"It's done, chief…it's done…it's over." the warrior said with a doleful face.

"Yes…..it's done." Chief Talas replies with a bitter tone as she tosses her weapon to the ground. Accepting the fact that this battle is no longer worth fighting for.

"Captain, they surrender! They surrender!"

"Hahahahaha! We got them!"

"Finally!"

The knights shout their victory cries while they watch the warriors of eihon, and the chief marches out the gate with the chains on their arms, and legs while being escorted by the knights.

"Gather them all to the plaza.."

"As you command." the knight nods, and shouts to his idle men. "You heard the Captain, move!"

Quickly, the knights began to scramble as they gathered up every prisoner in the area. However, little did they know that there is an eagle flying above them, and keenly observing them from the skies….

"I wonder how the hosts are able to see through the eyes of the eagle." the ghost said as she observed the village from the hills.

"Indeed, I wonder how…." The golden Eliksni shares the same curiosity as he folds his four arms together.

"Oh you wanna know more about Bibi?" Pariya chimes in while feeling excited to explain the existence of her Amira's eagle.

"Yes, please do. I am curious about this eagle!" Eureka dives towards the small djinn, and shows her single eye glowing with curiosity.

"Bibi is a Familiar that was created from the 1st tier summoning magic. I heard from big sis that every Familiar you summon will mentally link with you which explains how big sis can see through Bibi's eye." Pariya explains eagerly, and feels proud for being a clever girl for once.

"Oh, magic. Interesting!"

"Hmmm…." Ragnar rubs his mask chin with his narrow eyes staring at the eagle, and wonders why this concept of magic sounds familiar to him. However, he snaps away from his thoughts when he sees the elder djinn jump out from the branches of the tree.

"Guys! Guys! My mother, and my people…they are still alive." Amira said, and tried to hold off her tears of joy.

"Oh, Sis! That's too good to hear!" Pariya hugs her sister dearly as she thanks the goddess for protecting her family.

"But…there is a problem."

Ragnar, and Eureka look at the Djinn siblings as they give their undivided attention.

"T-they are being held captive, and they are taking them all to the plaza….as for the numbers…there are hundreds of them." Amira steps closer to the Golden kell as she stares at his four glowing azure eyes. "There is no doubt that you are a strong warrior, Ragnar….but, I really don't think we can save them all with just four of us."

Ragnar nods his head silently, while he stares at the heavens above. "Let me tell you why I am here in the first place…I was here because I am searching for a place where my people can settle."

"Your people…so, you are not alone!" Pariya said as she realized what he meant.

"Indeed…" Ragnar mandible is clicking together in satisfaction, and points his index finger at his ghost. "Are they ready?"

"Yes, Ragnar. They are waiting on your command"

"Drop them" Ragnar looks up at the sky along with his ghost while the Djinn sisters do the same as they wonder what they are observing. Soon, that question was answered when they saw two objects falling from the sky like shooting stars. "Stand behind me!"

The Djinn sisters comply, and hide behind the golden cape of the towering titan. Then, a shockwave of dust passes through them as they feel the ground quake below them. Once the dust, and quake settles, they emerge from his cape, and peer their vision beyond them which makes their wide eyes open.

Before them are two otherworldly objects that crashed on the soil. This huge object is made of metal with a shape of a sphere, and sharp edges. Edges that seem glowing in light, and suddenly this light melts the rock until mist remains. Then, a group of towering figures emerge from the mist, and reveal themselves to them.

These tall creatures are a group of Eliksni that are composed of ten assault Vandals, and ten stealth Vandals. Being led by Skelos the blue Archon, and escorted by the Fallen Captain

"Umm…Ragnar there is more of you." Pariya mutters under her nervous lips, and anxiously stares at the strange people who share the same looks of Ragnar.

The Eliksni steps forward from their place, and together they kneel before the Golden kell while they bow their head before him.

"Weź Helk Kulaz! Retek Sorvani! (We heed the call, ready to serve)"
