Stitch: Meega and Lilo are really good! Has tons of practice!
Gio: Speaking of which, there is one in the closet that I've tied up already.
Jumba: He's being experiment 322. If you not wanting to be teased and taunted, better leaving him shut up.
Stitch: Cousin tied up? In closet?
Lilo: Why? What happened, Gio?
Gio: He started insulting me and before Jumba walked in, I was about to just cook him in the oven.
Nani: Oh, Gio, that's across the line of judging and thinking. You thought he was out to get you, did you?
Gio: Well, I wanted to put him in his place and show him who's boss.
Lilo: That's scaring him, not making friends with him!
Stitch: (Returns from closet and boys' room with a disgruntled face) Meega opened tape, he taunted meega! Put back tape, got capsule prison, put cousin in capsule prison, removed tape, capsule muffling taunts but he breathing and talking. He in closet still.
Gio: He hurt me verbally!
Stitch: Cousin hurt meega verbally too, but meega no scare or hurt him because even if annoying and taunting, he still ohana.
Gio: Oh, come on!
Nani: Ohana means family. I mean, you have friends who have weird uncles and stuff, right? Your friends may be your age, but they still love their weird uncles and stuff. It's the same thing here with annoying experiment cousins.
Gio: I'm sorry for what I did...
Lilo: Apology accepted, Gio!
Stich: Ih, forgiven! You not bad, Gio.
Lilo: We will figure out this cousin's one true place after dessert. I really want a slice!
Gio: Well, you have to finish your lunch first because I don't skip to dessert unless my food is done.
Nani: Gio's right, you can't be that finished yet with that rib and bread roll, Lilo.
Lilo: (Glances at plate) Let's finish this, guys!
Pleakley: You better take your time because Gio looks like the kind of person who savors his food.
Gio: I sure do, and I enjoy every minute of it.
Stitch: We forgot it's summer. We been used to eating fast because work, school and other stuff!
Nani: Stitch's got a point. We usually have cereal, quick stuff for lunch and dinner because we can't afford to be late, tired, or just wanting to just sleep on public school and work days during the rest of the year.
Lilo: I guess we are still getting used to the fact that we ain't waking up at 6:00 and stuff because it's only been three days since public school ended.
Gio: Stitch, are you saying that you attended school with Lilo?!
Lilo: No, not inside public school anyway, but he often waits outside for me. Hula school is the exception because my teacher, Moses accepted him well enough.
Stitch: Ih. When bored and Lilo in class, meega check on cousins and see town, and come back to wait a hour or less for public school to finish.
Gio: Oh...
Nani: So, you can see that Stitch and Lilo has pretty much figured everything out for themselves. I may be worried sometimes as I am the big sister, but I am proud of them.
Gio: Oh.
Jumba: I thinking you broke him again.
Gio: Sorry...
Gio (sighs): Yes, I was.
Nani: As that's all cleared up, let's take time to enjoy lunch, no need to rush toward finishing even if dessert is tempting more than one of us.
Gio: So...Nani, what is your job?
Nani: I am basically the cashier/overseer of the surf shop near the beach. Everybody rents surfboards, snorkeling stuff, floaties, and buys snacks/smoothies.
Gio: But is it part of a hotel?
Nani: No, and it's both simpler yet harder for me because I only get reprimanded by my boss who is the manager/owner of the surf shop.
Gio: Oh, okay. But...it sounds like you need better work.
Nani: Are you saying that I need a different job?
Gio: In my opinion, yes. A boss that makes you miserable is a boss I wouldn't want supervising me.
Nani: Oh...
Lilo: You can be a surfing instructor, Nani! I mean, you won lots of surfing competitions and you are really good!
Stitch: Ih!
Gio: Oh, you are?!
Nani: A professional surfer, yeah, I am, but those competitions were ages ago...(Sighs) I had to stop when the accident happened, and Lilo was my highest priority...
Gio: Nani, I'm so sorry, I...
Lilo: It doesn't mean that you should stop going to competitions. You can be a great instructor! It's tourist season, and you know how many people want to surf. And winning competitions again would get you famous again!
Nani: Even if I can instruct people...how can I do that? I heard of self-employment, but I don't know how to do that...
Gio: Well, my mother might know a thing or two since she went to business school.
Nani: Aunt Angela? You think she'd help me?
Gio: I think so!
Nani: (Smiles) Well, I better email her tonight as she's awake over there...I think... I mean, we're almost done with lunch, soon to have dessert, and Lilo and Stitch will have to find today's cousin their one true place...I probably have to figure out what to cook for dinner as you've done breakfast and lunch today.
Gio (grins): Oh, I already got dinner planned too!
Nani: Really? Did you make that plan while in town?
Gio: Yep! It'll be an authentic FRENCH dinner!
Lilo: French? Oh, we gotta invite someone!
Gio: Invite someone? But who...?
Lilo: Frenchfry!
Gio: Who's he?
Stitch: Frenchfry cousin! He professional chef!
Lilo: Yeah, he's the best in making so many kinds of food including fast food!
Nani: You better not do fast food this time. Remember last time?
Lilo: Lesson learned, Nani. Gio knows what he's planned, and he can ask Frenchfry to make dinner really good and fast!
Gio: What...happened last time?!
Jumba: Frenchfry being created to be personal chef for me, but flaw in his purpose is being removing nutrients from food, and allowing people to get fat, and well...
Stitch: Frenchfry wrong to think eating people is good! But Jumba remove impulse, and now cousin makes low-fat food for people, keeping people trim and natural, seeing happy faces, makes him happy now.
Gio: E-eating people?! No way! He's NOT coming near me!
Lilo: Gio, Listen! He's...
Gio: A killer! That's all he is, a-
Stitch: Cousin not killer! Cousin upset that he was bad, and happy he reformed to good! Frenchfry has job, home, and feelings!
Gio (glares): I don't trust him...
Lilo: How do you know if you don't trust him when you hadn't met him yet?! You don't know him yet! He's a great guy, honest!
Nani: Gio, listen to Lilo. I met Frenchfry, and he really likes healthy food and food channels. He thought that fast food was the only way to eat, but when he tried my oatmeal, it was like he had a change of heart.
Pleakey: He certainly did. And his restaurant is one of the best around town!
Gio: Ugh...Fine! But if he hurts me, I'm kicking him out!
Stitch: Thank you, Gio!
Nani: That's fair. Since you've been talking about dinner, there's something that's nagging at me, and I quite couldn't remember what...
Gio: Nagging?
Nani: Like tinging at the back of my mind, like I'm forgetting something.
Gio: Oh...What was it?
Nani: I just know it has to do with dinner, and I am supposed to meet someone, wait, I am so lolo! I can't believe I forgot about David!
Gio: You got a date.
Gio: No...?
Nani: I knew that was a long shot.
Stitch: Nanee would be pretty in a braid.
Lilo: Stitch's right. If David's taking you to a high spot, there might be some wind, and a braid would lessen the annoyance than windswept loose hair would.
Nani: Alright, Lilo, you can help me with the braid. Gio, I know it's weird, but you seem to have a good fashion sense...Pleakley's making the skirt, but I need a long-sleeved or least a medium-sleeved shirt because I am gonna bring my shawl along. David's considerate, so he can possibly bring a blanket along as well.
Pleakley: I am thinking the skirt would be purple, a orchid shade.
Nani: That's a nice color, Pleakley, thanks. And Gio, yes, that would mean going through my closet, but I give permission just this once, okay? It's your choice to help me out or not.
Gio: Yes, but after lunch.
Nani: Deal. We all know what to do for this afternoon. Let's keep eating before it gets really cold!
(The scene cuts to Gio and everyone finishing the large lunch, and Gio serving up the cake slices...)
Gio (cuts cake)
Lilo: That looks really good. I can't wait to taste it!
Stitch: Ih!
Gio: Oh, and don't forget the milkshakes! (places them all on the table)
Jumba: Oh, yes, can't forgetting those!
Pleakley: (Slurps and gulps) So good!
Nani: (Forks a bite to her mouth and hums) Wow, this is definitely richly sweet!
Gio: The cost was $20!
Nani: That makes sense when this cake is professionally made. Any person would want the best.
(Suddenly, Sparky knocked on the front door...)
Pleakley: Who would that be?
Lilo: I will get it! (Leaps from chair, sprinting to door, opening it up to see Sparky waving with a smile.
Sparky: Aloha, Leelo!
Lilo: (Smiles) Sparky! (Blinks in concern) Did something happen at the lighthouse?
Sparky: Meega hear you've got human cousin!
Lilo: Oh, I guess news really get around fast. Yeah, it's Nani and I's cousin, Gio. He came from New York City.
Gio (walks out): You called for me? (notices Sparky) No! No, no! No! Get that thing away from me!
Lilo: Gio, hey, hey, Sparky is good. He's a electric starter for the lighthouse where he truly belongs!
Sparky: Meega hoping to have friend, and friends can be part of ohana!
Stitch: Cousin! (Hugs Sparky happily, and Sparky purrs softly)
Sparky: Aloha, cousin! Meega wondering if youga be coming to cousins' weekend party?
Stitch: Wheesta?
Sparky: Anniversary of when youga and Leelo found meega true place!
Lilo: Oh, my gosh, has that been a year already?!
Sparky: (Nods as antenna sparks happily) Cousins excited be coming to party in lighthouse!
Gio: Wait...you're having a party in the lighthouse?! Uh...who does that?! It doesn't sound safe...
Sparky: Meega only uses lighthouse at night, being job. Party in afternoon, being two hours before cousins go back to their true places, not wanting to leave people they love too long.
Lilo: Really? Is Sample going to make the music?
Sparky: Ih! Party on Sattday.
Lilo: Sure, and I can bring my camera! I am sure they would want pictures to remember.
Stitch: Meega can't wait!
Sparky: (Smiles at Gio brightly) Meega Sparky. Leelo name me! Youga Leelo cousin?
Gio: Younga? What does that mean?
Lilo: Younga means 'you'. Many cousins don't speak perfect English, so mixes them with Tantalog which is Jumba's native tongue.
Gio: Y-yeah...I'm her cousin. (stands behind Lilo)
Sparky: Neesta to meet you! Meega being happy ohana is growing.
Lilo: Sparky, would you like to do something nice, a favor for me?
Sparky: Ih, wheesta is it?
Lilo: I was wondering if you could act as a comet tonight. Nani's having a date with David tonight, and we figured that David's taking her to a high spot to look at the stars while having a dinner picnic.
Sparky: Comet?
Stitch: Ih, like zipping star!
Sparky: Can meega ask cousin Topper to help?
Lilo: Oh, Topper, yes, that's perfect! Yes, ask him if he could help too.
Sparky: Ih, meega will ask cousin Topper when head back to lighthouse.
Gio: Oh, Lilo, don't forget about the french dinner I'm making tonight.
Lilo: Oh, yes! Sparky, could you tell Frenchfry that he is invited to do dinner here? Gio here got it planned, but Frenchfry can whip it up fast and low-fat for him!
Sparky: (Blinks in surprise before understanding) Ih, will tell cousin Frenchfry about inveetation.
Lilo: (Hugs Sparky) Thanks, Sparky! (Sparky purrs happily)
Sparky: Younga be welcome, Leelo. Bye, cousin! (Waves good-bye with his hand)
Stitch: Bye, cousin! Neega forget!
Sparky: (Nods with a smile) Bye, ohana! (Flies off into his zooming electric dragon shape, heading back down the road to town)
Gio (sighs): Good, he's gone! (shivers) He could've electrocuted me!
Gio: Oh, and Lilo, Frenchfry will NOT be doing any cooking, I will, since I planned to and everything. Can you PLEASE let him know that when he gets here?
Lilo: Sparky rather likes machines, and besides, the lighthouse is the only place he can't short out thanks to being required of lots and lots electricity, and he only electrocutes Gantu's ship when necessary. And as for Frenchfry, well, I suppose he could like to eat somebody else's meal like he did with Nani's meals after working all day in his restaurant, especially with tourist season.
Stitch: Ih!
Gio: Good. Let him know before he comes in or else I'll deal with him myself, and trust me...you don't want that!
Lilo: Gio, don't tell me that you forgot Nani's advice already! No judging before you get to know anybody!
Gio: Just please promise me that. I'm capable of cooking my own food!
Lilo: (Nods) Alright, I will tell Frenchfry that he's here to try your food.
Gio: Good!
Lilo: (Closes door quickly) I ate half of my slice, I better finish it as I really want to braid Nani's hair!
Stitch: Ih! Cake waiting!
Gio: Anyway, I'll also let you figure out what to do with the alien I have tied up in the closet.
Lilo: Oh, yeah! What do you think, Stitch? Should we help Nani first or figure how your cousin fits into town with his power?
Stitch: New cousin annoying but want him out of the house.
Lilo: Good point. Gio, what time would be dinner?
Gio: 6pm sharp.
oLilo: That's quite some time. (Walks into the kitchen) Nani, what time is David picking you up?
Nani: David said that he'd be here at 5:20 pm. (Looks at clock) It's almost 1:10 pm. As you know I don't want any cousin causing any mess in here excluding Stitch, you better find that one true place for this cousin asap.
Lilo: Are you sure? Because I can whip up that braid in almost no time.
Nani: Pleakley needs some time to make the skirt, and besides, I need a shower after working all morning and all.
Lilo: Oh, okay. It will give me and Stitch the chance to tell Frenchfry of the required time to be here while we get the cousin rehabbed. I am sure Sparky already told Frenchfy that he's invited, but we didn't know the set time until Gio told us.
Gio: But first, let's finish dessert!
(Murmurs of agreement ringed around the table, and they went down to business, focusing on finishing dessert at last.)
Gio: So...what did you think?!
Jumba: Being really good, bigger boy!
Pleakley: Oh, yes, it's like heavenly!
Stitch: Yummy! Very yummy!
Gio: Nani?
Nani: It's fabulous, Gio!
Lilo: Yep! (Takes last bite of slice) That was really delicious!
Gio: It was my pleasure.
Lilo: Stitch, are you almost done with that slice? We gotta convince the cousin to switch from bad to good.
Stitch: (Gulps milkshake all at once, washing down his slice) Ih! Meega done!
Lilo: Great! May we be excused, Gio?
Gio: Sure.
Lilo: Thanks. Let's go, Stitch! (Gets down from chair with Stitch joining her, heading to the closet. Stitch opened it up, smirking lightly at the glass enclosed, tied up cousin, and picked it up with 322 inside, and closed the closet with Lilo telling Stitch that they'd have to take the buggy on the way to town after some talking, and heading to the tube elevator to Lilo and Stitch's spaceship room.)
Pleakley: Well, I better get busy with the skirt. After all, you deserve to look beautiful yet simple tonight, Nani! (gets up with a smile)
Nani: Thanks, Pleakley. I gotta take that shower. (Glances at Jumba in curiosity)
Jumba: If anybody be needing me, I be in ship doing science work. (Nods and gets up, heading through the house to the back door/backyard)
Pleakley: He better watch the time. He gets so distracted with inventing stuff and all. (Shrugs) Oh, well. See you guys in a while. Don't worry, the skirt will be so lovely on you, Nani! (Waves with a hand, and heads to the boys' bunkroom, to his sewing machine and clothing samples)
Nani: What about you, Gio?
Gio (sighs): No idea, actually.
Nani: Maybe watching some tv would help you relax. After all, you must have been tense from cooking the big lunch!
Gio: And dealing with aliens. I'm so afraid of them still.
Nani: Facing fears take time, Gio. It's...ummm, I know Dad said something very important to me a few times... Oh, I remember now! You are not defined by your fear, and your fear does not define you.
Gio: And...what does that mean?
