Boop! Sup y'all? :)

Supah late but I wrote smth for Valentine's! I still plan to do a follow up to the last moment but Feb 14th came first so this is being posted now and the other will be coming some time later!

Disclaimer: Sam Simpson and Tim Scam do not belong to me. If they did, there would have been a 1 hr special Valentine's TS episode with nothing but them in it. Thank you.

Special

Her heart hammered in her chest as she pushed her legs to run as fast as they could. The intense burn from the build-up of lactic acid in her calves begged her to stop but still she winced and carried on because stopping was not an option, if she dare halt for even just a minute then they'd catch up to her.

And just as she had that thought, right on queue she heard two rough and ragged male voices bellow behind her loudly.

"THERE SHE IS! GET HER!"

Gasping Sam didn't waste time in turning to look back, knowing full well that it was Frankie Dude's cronies who were hot on her tail desperate to get back what she'd stolen from him.

She grasped the object tight in her hand; a small vial of blue-pink liquid that looked harmless enough but was in fact a serum capable of causing violent tsunamis once a single drop of it came into contact with the salt of ocean water. It was something a poor hydrologist had had to create for Frankie after being abducted from his lab. But thanks to WOOHP's timely intervention, the villain hadn't had the chance to use it to cause any destruction. All she had to do now was find her way out of here, contact Jerry, and the mission would be a success.

Which actually was a lot easier said than done in this maze-like, labyrinth of a building Frankie Dude had annoyingly chosen for a lair.

"Come on! Come on!" Sam muttered to herself as her heeled feet raced along the narrow corridors and her head looked left and right for an exit. Suddenly her feet skidded to a sharp halt and her heart leapt straight into her mouth when she saw what was right before her. A wall. She'd walked herself right into a dead end.

"Oh no!" She thought with panic churning at her insides. Now what was she going to do?!

On instinct she whipped around to retrace her steps but never got the chance. Her feet froze ice solid when her ears picked up on just how close her pursuers were. At most there were another few seconds before they closed in on her. There was no time to get away now.

With no other choice she tucked the bottle in her pocket and raised her hands to adjust into combat mode, all the while calculating her odds of winning against three burly and most probably armed men.

Sam counted their footsteps as they came closer and closer and held her breath to prepare for the showdown only to find herself jumping in alarm when from above her, the duct suddenly gave way and out shot a hand. It waved itself in front of her for just an instant before she took it having recognized the shape and form of those muscular fingers.

Immediately she was pulled up and through the opening and when the duct closed under her she let out a huge breath of relief and threw her arms around her rescuer, hugging them the best she could in such a cramped and confined space.

"Tim!" She scream-whispered, so glad that he'd tracked her down even after they'd lost contact with each other some half hour ago. He'd come just in the knick of time too.

Sagging against his form she closed her eyes and took hard and deep breaths restoring her oxygen supply and lowering her adrenaline level.

"Did you get it?" Sam heard him ask once she'd caught her breath and she nodded that yes, she had.

"Good," he stated and even though his voice was hushed she could still detect his pride in it for her getting the job done. And despite her exhaustion, that emotion coming from him made her smile. Sadly it only lasted half a second because soon enough, they had to get back to the mission.

This time Tim took the lead and started crawling his way through the passage, using the ducts to make their way towards the exit hopefully undetected by the goons hunting them below.

Sam followed behind him but couldn't help but frown feeling letdown at them sharing just a second together before they had to get moving again. This was soooo not the way she had imagined this day to go when she'd woken up this morning. No despite knowing better, she'd naively expected a day brimming with excitement and romance.

Ironically enough, the early morning WOOHping had provided the excitement but had epically failed in delivering the romance that should come with the special day that it was today. It was February 14th, Valentine's Day and unlike most couples who were spending the day appreciating one another by exchanging thoughtful gifts and sharing kisses and proclamations of love with one another over candlelit dinners, she and her man were stuck tiptoeing through enemy territory hoping to just make it out alive.

Sam sighed inaudibly feeling bummed out at not even having had a chance to do the most basic Valentine's thing today. And that was to simply tell Tim that she loved him, lust say those three essential words to him. But Jerry had denied her the chance to even do that much. Sometimes she honestly didn't enjoy being a secret agent.

Staring at him as he remained just inches ahead of her in arm's reach she wondered if she should just go for it right here and now, just say it. It wasn't the ideal place, or the best time but it was either now or never. Midnight was fast approaching and she was running out of time.

Deciding to do it she was just about to clear her throat to get his attention and make him halt for just a second when the opportunity once again slipped away from her hands.

"Kay, here we are," Tim said, stopping moving and peeking out from the narrow vent slots to check if their cost was clear. When he'd decided that it was, he pried the metal frame away to make room before leaping out from the duct in one swift jump. Once he landed safely he motioned for her to jump, catching her in his arms with ease and lowering her slowly to the ground as to not let her heels bring attention their way.

"Think we lost em?" He murmured under his breath and Sam decided to forget her earlier plan and just focus on the mission like Tim clearly was. The faster this was over, the faster they could act like a normal couple.

And when they finally got home ... if they ever got home, she'd just have to accept letting him know just how much she loved him them.

Suppressing a sigh she nodded. "Yea I think so, and I think that the exit is right up ahead."

"Better safe than sorry," she heard him caution before he asked for her X-Powder, quickly explaining that he needed it because he'd misplaced his wallet communicator before disappearing to go check for sure.

While she waited for him to return Sam made sure to tuck herself in a safe corner which was just out of sight where she wouldn't be a sitting duck and then proceeded to pout sadly when she caught the time staring back at her from her gadget watch.

11:54 pm.

Just 6 minutes till Valentine's Day was officially over.

"Great," Sam muttered frustrated, pulling her hair a little as an outlet for her rage before deciding to forget it because there was literally nothing she could do about it anymore. She made herself feel better by thinking that maybe in a day or two, they could have a makeup Valentine's celebration that maybe WOOHP wouldn't hijack. She then put her energy towards praying he'd be back soon and safe.

But little by little the moments ticked by with no sign of Tim and as they totalled to about five whole minutes, panic hit her like an atom bomb. Oh God, what if while she'd been sitting here moping they'd captured him?!

No longer being able to just wait around uselessly Sam sprang to her feet and dashed off in the direction she'd last seen him go in. Her eyes strained themselves to catch any glimpse of him as her heartbeat clenched and released so hard inside her chest that it began to hurt. She didn't know what she'd do if something had happened to him! Frankie was a dead man if he so much as laid a finger on her Tim!

Fear moved to destroy out all the hope she had when he still was no where to be seen a full minute after her marathon when suddenly her breath caught with a hitch in her throat and she came to an immediate stop when she turned a corner to be greeted by something totally unexpected.

Right there before her, in streams of bright red and green laser lights were spelled out three words in capital letters:

I LOVE YOU

With eyes peeled wide, Sam could only stare at the romantic declaration which had been achieved at least in part by deflecting laser beams from a Laser Lipstick and a Laser Fountain Pen against the reflective surfaces of her compact and the Titanium mirror of Tim's Wallet Communicator.

It had never been lost after all, he'd lied in order to get her to give him her mirror and pull this off. And that was why she realized at the same time, that he'd gone off on his own. All just so he could set this up for her. All for her.

Astonishment sparkled in her emerald eyes and melted into adoration as the man responsible for all of this stuck his head out from his hiding place before slowly walking out entirely before her. All she could do was stare at the stunning display and then back at him for a good minute before finally locating her misplaced voice.

"Tim ... " She whispered his name in wonder and pointed at the laser beams slowly, still disoriented from being so blown away. "H-how did you?"

"Pfft. Come on," Tim drawled confidently and winked one of his sea foam eyes in response while shrugging a shoulder her way as if to say, she did remember whom she was talking to right?

"M-my bad," Sam mumbled sheepishly before smiling widely as her eyes once again landed on the words flashing at her in contrasting light. Sure something like this was probably child's play to him but she couldn't help but be stunned at him doing this for her anyway. Especially during such a risky moment.

She had to battle with herself not to outright swoon. Before they got together, never would she ever have dreamed in her wildest fantasies that Tim Scam could be such a utter and total romantic.

"I know it's not what you had planned for today," Tim started to say as he came over to her while admiring all the happiness on her beautiful face that was showing in spades. "And God knows it's not what I had planned either but ..."

Reaching down he picked up her small green gloved hand in his large black gloved one and held it snugly. "At least we're together, right?"

"Right," Sam whispered back with butterflies whizzing inside her chest as she curled her slender fingers around his. They connected perfectly like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and she smiled harder until her lips started to ache. Because that was just the thing that made their relationship so extra special.

He was always with her.

Unlike all the other guys that had come and gone in her life before him, he wasn't some random civilian who didn't know who she really was, nor was he someone whom she had to fear explaining herself to when she disappeared out of the blue while worrying that he'd leave her for being too absent too often without a seeming cause.

Tim understood her and he complimented her spy-life so well because he was part of it himself and always had been. Even before when he was on the other side, even while being a baddie, Tim Scam had always only known her as exactly herself.

And today when were together, Tim was there through all her struggles. Just like a perfect partner he knew how to adjust regardless of what WOOHP tossed their way to ensure that they always got their special moments together, even through all the chaos of them both being full-time secret spies.

And the reason why she was so crazy over him? It was the one thing he always made sure to do for her, the same that just so happened to be the one she found most important.

No matter what he always, always, made an effort to tell her those three, special words that every girl wanted to hear from her lover as often as possible, the exact words she'd been so badly wanting to say to him today. It seemed he'd known all along and had taken it on himself to grant her wish for a chance to finally say them.

A pretty pink blush stained the skin of her ivory cheeks as she did her best not to cry at his persistent thoughtfulness towards her needs.

"I ... I love you Tim," she breathed out, saying the same words to him that he'd spelled out for her and watching him smile a small little smile in response, the cuteness of which could not be described in words.

Yes it had been years since he'd been her enemy yet every time he smiled at her like that, she felt just a little bit overwhelmed that he was actually smiling at her.

They should just continue making a break for it now, she knew because they didn't have much time. The head start they had would only last mere moments longer at best but ...

She just had to kiss him.

And so she did, giving into temptation by grabbing the side of his handsome face and drawing it down towards hers until their lips met each others.

It was just meant to be a quick kiss, a short peck to show him how much she appreciated him and vice versa. Just a way to convey to him and him to her that which they didn't have the luxury to say with words right now.

Who knew when they'd have the chance to be alone again? Who knew how much longer this mission would last?

But the second she tasted him on her tongue she couldn't find it in herself to pull away. The ever-present spark between them shot off like a fuse and then went off like a bomb.

"Mmm..." Sam moaned from deep in her throat as her eyes fluttered then sealed themselves in ecstasy, her glossed lips squishing themselves harder against his hunting for the warmth only his mouth could offer.

Her grip on him tightened, her hand that had been clutching his cheek travelled along his chin and past his square jaw to claw at his broad shoulder. It roamed a pathway across his wide shoulder blades before grabbing the base of his neck, her other hand soon joining it as she pressed her curves to his muscular form silently demanding him for more.

Any care that she should have for their surroundings right now took a back seat as her brain became clouded from the overdrive of pleasure she experienced by simply being this close to him. Her fingers curled into the chestnut hair at the nape of his neck as she inhaled him into her senses.

Tim was like a drug, without even trying to he toyed with her sanity and seized away her self control. One little hint of him and she was hooked with endless appetite, needing and wanting more and more to survive.

It seemed that she had the same effect on him as soon enough a low rumble erupted from the pit of his throat, a growl of awoken passion as he more than eagerly responded to her kiss.

Tim dragged her flush against him by her spandex clad hips, the digits of his fingers digging hard into the skin of her buttocks before making their way up her back to tangle wildly with the waves of her lustrous ginger hair.

Their once chaste kiss grew hotter and deeper. The tip of his tongue swept across the crevices of her lower lip, knocking on the door to be let in and her mouth parted in a reflex. In a split second her tongue was dancing every dance with his, sparring for dominance to such an effect that it left him hissing and shoving her against the nearest wall with all the force in his body.

Tim's left hand released her long locks and instead grabbed her outer thigh, lifting it to connect her leg around his waist. Once it wrapped around him like a snake, they could easily feel the other twitch in excitement to their new position from under their clothes which suddenly felt much too tight on their respective forms.

And as such they proceeded to grapple at each others', her palm slipping under his shirt to caress the abs in his taut stomach and his yanking at the collar of her spy suit just enough to start to uncover the ample cleavage that he knew was hidden beneath all the while their lips infinitely devouring each others.

Their heartbeats soared and their faces felt as though they had caught flame as the heat pooling inside them both reached fever pitch and every inch of their bodies yearned and begged for the fire burning within them to be snuffed out.

There was only one way to do that they knew, only one cure.

But unfortunately they wouldn't be able to get to that as the sounds of feet moving hastily were once again heard getting dangerously closer to them.

Their eyes snapped open at the same time as they broke their lip-lock but not without one last second of prolonged lingering.

Raggedly they collected their oxygen and composure and tried to get their heads back into the game. Tim succeeded first while Sam, despite her best attempts couldn't keep from mewling audibly in discontent at being so cruelly interrupted like this.

Hearing it he didn't taunt but instead wordlessly held out his hand towards her with a tired smile, but nonetheless a smile on his face which told her that she wasn't alone, he too felt her pain just the same.

She took his hand and together they continued running on their search for an escape and then eventually to home where they would not have to fight their desires and stop after just one kiss.

And as she ran she realized something.

The typical Valentine's Day with chocolates, flowers, and romantic dates over candlelight were nice for sure, but what she had?

Her hand held Tim's tighter and she smiled to herself as from under the leather, she felt the metal of the wedding band he wore press against the side her thumb as she sprinted alongside him as close to him as his own shadow.

It was pretty special.
