Hi everyone! I wanted to play with prompt 228) OQ go to a thrift store and Robin is fascinated from OQ Prompt Party 2021, so here it is!

Therewere only two words to describe this: organized chaos. And Robin loved it.

It was like a thief (not someone like him, someone like Gold who only took things for his own gain) took a little bit of everything the Land Without Magic had to offer and put it all in one place. There's everything from books and children's toys to kitchen appliances and furniture. There's even a place for various tools and artifacts that help people pursue their latest hobby, whether that's sewing or playing an instrument.

"People just donate their old things and someone else comes and buys them?" he asked Regina, who he only just noticed was staring at him with an amused smirk on her face. Let her be entertained by his fascination. He knows better than anyone how little she'd had to laugh about in her life. She deserved it after all she'd been through.

"They do," she confirmed. "So, what catches your eye?"

He knew it had to be killing her to be here. Regina liked order and cleanliness, after all. However, she had thought of coming here just for him, thought he might like to choose his birthday present from among the objects here. She had, of course, given him an additional present, a wallet that had pictures of her and the kids inside, but she had wanted to do this for him too, and he couldn't love her more for it.

He spent the next hours looking around every inch of the shop, making sure to explore every nook and cranny. He found many treasures, but only one that he kept coming back to: a guitar, sleek and shiny despite the fact that he knew it must have been used at some point by its previous owner. He had always wanted Alan to teach him how to play, but somehow in the midst of all their escapades, it had never happened.

"Oh good," the owner of the shop said when he and Regina brought the guitar, pick, strap, and a few music books to the counter to check out. "Ever since that was brought in, I've wanted to see it go to a good home. The man who brought it in looked like he could have used a little music in his life, if you know what I mean."

"Well, we're happy to take it," Robin said, a smile on his face. He didn't know if he'd be the next great guitarist, but he was eager to embark on this next great adventure.
