(And so, Gio, and his new friend, Petrie took the cake together as it's really heavy, and also took a strong rolling cart along as well, and went to drive Petrie's spiffy delivery truck to the lighthouse, and after bringing the cake in via rolling cart, placed it on the sturdy dessert table among the rest of sweets. Petrie took back the rolling cart, shaking hands with Gio, proceeding to head back to the bakery.)

Petrie: You go have a great time, Gio. Thank you for your business with Aloha Sweets. I hope you will consider coming in again and again.

Gio: You got it!

Petrie: Alright, see you around, Gio. Ta-ta! (Leaves with a wave)

Lilo: Wow, you sure got the biggest chocolate cake I'd ever seen!

Stitch: Ih! Yummy-looking!

Gio: Well, help me set this up!

Lilo: Right, Gio! Frenchfry, is there a cake knife in that apron kit of yours?

Frenchfry: Ih. Meegsta got one! (Looks into his apron kit, and pulls out a cake knife from it, and puts it besides the cake) Youga do honor, Gio. (Nods with a smile)

Gio (grabs knife): Thanks! (Cuts myself a large square)

Lilo: Let's get this party started! (Sample gave out a thrill, and then the created band of a few musical cousins including Sample, started the music, and the party began)

(After Gio took his piece, Frenchfry made sure that the cake is properly cut of multiple pieces for everyone after they have snacks or whatever, and the party went for a couple of hours, fun dancing, multiple conversations across the floor, and laughter at jokes or funny impressions, and Gio grew comfortable around the many, many cousins of the ohana.)

Gio (sips fruit punch): What a party.

Lilo: It sure was and is a great party! Are you going off soon to prepare for dinner? The cousins has to go back to their jobs in a half hour or less. Me and Stitch would probably figure something about the tables and the leftover stuff...

Gio: Wait...we still need to figure out a place for Slick! And for dinner, I'll order out for everyone tonight! So...do you want to find Slick a place tomorrow or today?

Lilo: (Grins) Helping out a new cousin to find the one place he belongs? Count me in! And cool, what are you going for? Pizza, Chinese, or burgers? Or something else?

Gio: All Italian!

Lilo: Awesome! Now, what is Slick's one true place? I know he bargains like heck! Last hour, I saw him bartering fruit punch for cupcakes with some cousins.

Gio (laughs): Oh, yeah, I witnessed his talent. Slick, tell Lilo about the swimsuit store event!

Slick: (Having heard Gio's call to him, coming over to them with a chuckle) Actually, she asked me in the first hour of the party, and I explained to her in simple terms, of course. You were hanging out with Stitch and Slugger on the other side of the room.

Lilo: You were so wicked awesome! No wonder why Felix seemed so happy after that call. It must have been really messy behind the desk and stuff.

Gio (chuckles): Oh, you bet it was!

Lilo: (Hums thoughtfully) You like to socialize around, Slick, and you are fair when it comes to bargaining and very quick with that auction voice...

Slick: Very observant, Lilo. Socializing around with people and seeing their smiles when they get something they need or want, it makes me happy...

Lilo: Where'd you think to be fitting for Slick, Gio?

Gio: Well...I honestly have no idea...(drinks cup of fruit punch) Besides, can we finish this party first?

Lilo: Totally! Come on, we have barely 25 minutes left before the other cousins leave. (Heads off to see to a few cousins)

Slick: (Smiles) Thank you for bringing me to my family...Lilo was right...Ohana means family...family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten...I hope this summer will be beyond your expectations, Gio. You deserve it.

Gio: Well, this is only my 5th day...and I have 87 more to go!

Slick: Wow, you sure had a lot of excitement this week, and today is the start of your first weekend of summer! Impressive!

Gio: Well, let's take you to Jumba so he can help us

Slick: Oh, boy, it has been a long time since I saw him. Hey, Lilo! (Sees other cousins leaving except for Stitch)

Lilo: Yeah?

Slick: Gio suggested we go see Jumba. What do you think of that?

Lilo: Sounds good to me! Hey, Gio, do you wanna take the dessert leftovers home? And, Stitch, can you push the tables to the walls so Sparky can have his space back?

Stitch: Ih!

Gio: Yeah, let's take them home!

Lilo: Great. Let's grab some bags, and you do the right side while I do the left side. (Goes to the dessert table, grabbing a bag, heading to the left side, putting different cookies in one container from two, same thing for cupcakes, donuts, not wasting space while Gio goes to do the right side. Stitch calls for Slick to help him push and slide the tables to the side of the walls, with Sparky folding up the plastic chairs, flying them over to a corner, putting them one by one)

Gio: Man...what a party. Lilo...thanks for showing me that not all aliens are bad...

Lilo: I am glad to see you having fun, Gio. (Smiles) Anytime. Aliens are like humans. It took a bit of time for you to see that, but I am happy because the ohana is happy, and you are happy!

Gio: (Hugs Lilo)

Lilo: (Hugs Gio back, taking the gesture as a thank of sorts) You're welcome. Now, come on, let's get going! Thanks for letting us have a party in your lighthouse, Sparky.

Sparky: Meesta glad party been amazing. Meesta being around to see youga all. Aloha!

Stitch: Aloha, cousin! Meesta had fun!

Slick: Yes, it was quite a fabulous party. Bye, my electrifying cousin.

Lilo: Bye, Sparky!

Gio (waves to everyone): Bye!

(And so, Lilo, Stitch, Gio, and Slick made their way home by using the buggy which was parked nearby to the lighthouse via a little-used road rather than the main road.)

Gio: Why is this road so...overtaken by nature?

Lilo: Because since Stitch's driving, I just don't want anybody from the mainland to question about a blue dog-like person driving a buggy as you noticed that the town is small enough for people to gossip around yet big enough to have a mall and hotels. The locals are used to seeing Stitch around because I and Nani told them that he's a funny dog and all, but with summer being tourist season, and tourists seeing a alien might catch the government's attention. You understand that I really want to keep Stitch and the others safe?

Gio: Yes...I do..

Lilo: (Sighs in relief) That's good to hear. Are you fine now? I mean, with finally facing the cousins, and being comfortable around them, and that you aren't scared anymore to do crazy stuff like threatening to call the government or whatever?

Gio (smiles): Yes... you really have proved to me that not all aliens want to kill you, and send you to the emergency room.

Lilo: So, no nerves then? Just intending to have a good summer, yeah?

Gio: Lilo, I'm going to have the best summer here, and nothing is going to change that!

Lilo: (Grins) Brilliant! (Looks in thought with a sigh) I sure wish your parents aka Aunt Angela and Uncle Robert came along with you, but I bet they're busy, huh? I mean, Aunt Angela and my mom were both sisters! I could have loved to hear stories about her. Sure, Teacher Moses mentions her a few times here and there as Mom was part of hula school long ago before Nani or me...

Gio: Why didn't my parents tell me about you or your family?

Lilo: Maybe it's the long distance thing and mailing letters trend. Dad used to mention that Mom had lived here for a short time with your mom while being really young, but your grandparents decided that the mainland would be a better opportunity, and of course, and then Nani mentioned they grew up in New York City before Mom decided she wanted to come back to Hawaii, doing college in the process, and having met Dad in college, and of course, afterwards, had Nani and me.

Gio (sighs): I thought it was out of spite...

Lilo: Nani said that both sides of the family really tried to keep in touch, but the grown-ups sure got busy, and they couldn't help forgetting to remember, and besides, Nani mentioned that the long-distance calls can be loads of money which was rare. Something about the high middle-class and the low middle-class differences...I don't know...

Gio: But...that's not fair!

Lilo: Yeah...And I think Aunt Angela aka your mom might have freaked out when she didn't hear anything from us for a while when we were...in shock after the accident...It took us a long time before we were able to visit their stones...Nani mentioned that your mom cried on the phone when she heard about the funerals...Especially Mom's...Do you think your mom is too afraid to come?

Gio: Lilo... When you first heard that I was coming for the summer, what did you think about that?

Lilo: Well, I had two thoughts. One; What?! I have a new cousin and he's coming here?! And the second; I hope he's really nice, being a boy. What about you? Any thoughts you had about me and Nani?

Gio: Well, the only thing I was thinking at first was that I didn't want to go on the trip.

Lilo: (Blinks in surprise) Really?

Gio: My parents told me about the trip 16 days before it was to take place, and I was just shocked that all my summer plans went out the window in one announcement.

Lilo: Almost the same thing for me and Stitch! We had a plan by 3 codes of the summer; 1: Try new things. 2: Whatever happens in summer, it stays in summer. 3: Have Fun. (Hums lightly) Be glad that they didn't tell you the night before the trip, that wouldn't be a great reaction, that's for sure. If that happened to me, I would probably had a tantrum or gone off to hide in the treehouse, ranting to Stitch.

Gio: How did you react when Nani told you about my trip?

Lilo: Gosh, I think I was a mix between being bewildered and horrified, because I rarely heard things about you, and that I didn't want practically a stranger to threaten Stitch and the boys about being aliens.

Gio: Oh, Lilo. I...

Lilo: (Pats Gio's arm reassuringly) No need to apologize, Gio. After all, the past is in the past...or something like that.

Gio: Thanks, Lilo...

Lilo: Anytime, Gio. Hey, we're almost home! If I know Jumba, and I do, he's either in the boys' bedroom, or in his lab at the ship.

Gio (knocks on front door)

Pleakley's voice behind the door: Oh, I am coming, hold on! (The door opens) Lilo, Gio, Stitch! Oh, wow, that's a lot of leftovers from the party! (Notices Slick) Please tell me that he isn't messy or crazy!

Slick: Hello, sir. I am not messy for I am a gentleman. My name's Slick.

Lilo: Gio actually found him, and named him. We are hoping that Jumba's here so we can figure out the perfect home for Slick.

Pleakley: Wow...You actually tamed a experiment, Gio?

Gio: Yes, I did.

Pleakley: First time for that, huh? Oh, first before you all go off to see Jumba, you may have to clear some room in the refrigerator if you want these leftovers to keep fresh and steady. After all, it's summer, and it's bad form to let leftovers spoil. Can all of you do that for me, please so I don't have to freak out about mold or food spoils?

And yes, I know where Jumba is. He's in his lab again, in the ship. Something about cold vs machines, I don't understand about.

Lilo: Oh, okay! Come on, I know where the ceramic containers are, Gio. I can't reach them, but you can. And Stitch, see if you can find some Ziploc bags for the leftover chips.

Stitch: Ih!

Lilo: And Slick, stay out of our way, stay at the table, okay?

Slick: Of course, Lilo.

Lilo: Great! You good with that plan, Gio?

Gio: Yep, I'm fine.

Lilo: Then let's do this. (Heads to the kitchen with the boys following her including Gio, leaving Pleakley to resume his cleaning duties in the living room; the boys in the kitchen went to do what Lilo said with her pointing to a cabinet high above her) There, Gio, the containers are in there.

(The scene transitioned to the task being done 30 minutes later...)

Gio (sits down on chair): Ugh...

Lilo: I guess we are covered for quite a while, huh? Those leftovers sure can last us a week, and you can make meals out of leftovers. Nani does, anyway.

Gio: Oh, but I already had dinner planned...I'm ordering us an Italian feast!

Lilo: Oh, I remember. I just was saying that for next week or something.. Are you ready to see Jumba? We really need to find a home for Slick.

Slick: That would be brilliant, and I hope Jumba isn't holding a grudge for that fiasco. Let's say his lab is off-limits to sell ever again.

Stitch: Youga did that?

Slick: (Chuckles sheepishly) I am a sorts of salesman, remember?

Stitch: (Nods lightly) Cousin practice to control, ih?

Slick: (Smiles brightly) That's part of my goal. After all, I do not want any customer angry with me ever again since Jumba...

(At that point, Jumba entered the kitchen...)

Jumba: Hello, family! I seeing you being back from party! (Notices Slick) 020?

Slick: (Smiles nervously) Hi, Jumba. Gio found me, and out of his graciousness, he gave me a true name. My name is Slick.

Jumba: Is that being right? Well, I no doubting that name fits you well, 020. You actually found him before little girl and 626, bigger boy?

Gio: Yes, I did...but since Slick told me about something he did to you years ago...don't even THINK about attempting to hurt him!

Jumba: (Widens eyes in surprise as Lilo and Stitch stare in amazement between Gio and Jumba) Now I seeing where you related to little girl and bigger girl. You actually protecting ohana and like little girl says, my beloved experiments is being part of ohana, and I not stopping you from protecting 020 nor I not going to hurt 020 just for being part of ohana either. I just hoping you know way to curb 020's auctioning program. I admitting I was at end of rope, and I deactivating 020 back into pod, but past is past.

Gio: And...what did he do?

Jumba: 020 attempting to sell my lab. He succeeding with equipment and tools, but when he auctioning off the lab itself, I was angry as volcano. Okay, I was being amused and happy when he auctioned off my ex-wife. (Shudders) Manipulative woman. But when coming to auction off my lab, you know how I am being dedicated to being a mad scientist and genius, yes?

Gio: Did you get your lab back?

Jumba: Yes, and don't worry, I never be hurting 020 at the time. I was being angry, yes, but not insanely evil like Hamsterviel. I only put 020 back in his pod, like giving him a long timeout.

Gio: Well...(shrugs) What can we do with him?

Lilo: Slick, you always want to make people happy, right?

Slick: Yes. There's no losers or winners. I just want to be fair with my customers no matter what.

Lilo: I think I have a idea. What about the summer weekend fair? It opens every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from the start of June to the end of the weekend before Labor Day. Slick could be assisting in games, auctions, etc. Heck, with practice, he can eventually invent a game and auction off merchandise!

Gio: Hmmm...that can work!

Stitch: Ih! Wheesta youga think, cousin?

Slick: It sounds very exciting.

Jumba: That is being brilliant idea.

Gio: Thank you!

Lilo: What are we waiting for? Let's go take Slick to the one true place he belongs!

Stitch: Ih!

(Lilo, Gio, and the cousins left the house, heading to the location of the weekend fair, taking the buggy, and after a couple of hours, the gang returned home without Slick who found employment and a home.)

Gio: Man, that task wasn't easy, but I say it was worth it!

Lilo: Yeah, it sure was! Slick was wicked cool with those kids at that pinball game!

Stitch: Meega liking when Slick did at donkey auction, fast with mouth.

Gio (nods): And that is dedication in my book!

Jumba: (Comes into living room from boys' bedroom) Ah, I seeing you succeed with 020. And bigger boy, you being used to surprise days soon enough. Ohana gets crazy, but I wouldn't having it any other way.

Pleakley: (Peeks in from kitchen, having made lemonade) I have to agree with Jumba on that one. And when you have fun, you won't notice that summer will fly fast until you check the calendar or phone.
