Gio (gets out video camera and finishes setting up his spot): NOW I'M READY!

Nani: (Grins and starts to stroke again, flawlessly moving through the water as she searches for the perfect wave, and her eyes gleam as she spots one, and as she swims further in, she turns her board around, and the wave forms underneath, and she gets up gracefully, her board rimming the wave left and right as she dives.

Once she gets enough speed and balance, she streaks across the wave, and with a swift turn, she leans upward, her board flying as she turns not one, not two, but three turns, and lands with a touchdown of perfection!) Yes!

Lilo: Way to go, Nani! I got lots of pictures! Did you get all that on that video?

Gio: Sure did!

Lilo: What did I tell you? She's a champion! It's no wonder why she had a whole bunch of trophies and ribbons in the old house.

Gio: What about you, Lilo? How well can you surf?!

Lilo: I think I am sort of a novice. I need lots of time to grow bigger before I actually take the big waves like Nani.

Gio: What about you, Stitch?

Stitch: Meega okay as long as meega have strong water wings.

Gio: Water wings? Why would you need those when you can do all of those other things?

Stitch: (Blushes and sighs) Meega prone to drowning.

Lilo: Yeah, Jumba said something about Stitch's bone density or whatever. He actually drowned. It was his first time taking upon a big wave with Nani steering the board...

Stitch: Meega didn't mean to drag you down after panicking, Lilo.

Lilo: Hey, Stitch, things happen. You were really scared, and besides, you apologized for that plenty times already!

Gio: Well, surfing will never be my thing.

Lilo: You sure you don't want to try some basics of surfing, if I can take pictures and Nani can video tape you, for your parents?

Gio: Oh, I'm sure. Besides, surfing is just for girls!

Lilo: Oh, really? David surfs too, and so many local boys too! Don't judge a hobby for its name, Gio.

Gio (sighs): I-I'm sorry, Lilo. I just...

Lilo: Spoke without thinking?

Gio (sighs): Yes...

Lilo: (Smiles reassuringly) It's okay, Gio. It happens to all of us, more or less. Right, Stitch?

Stitch: Ih. (Then ears perk, and looks over to see Nani resurfacing back on the beach) Nani!

Nani: From the sounds earlier, you must have took some good pictures and some great video of me. (Grins)

Lilo: Yeah, you were great!

Gio (Rushes over to the water): Need help getting back in?

Nani: Nah. (Plants feet into sand with grace, bringing up her board to stand besides her, and begins to walk with the little crashing waves behind her) I'd like a drink. The triple loop can be a bit tiring on the legs.

Gio (goes into cooler and takes out a large shrimp cocktail): Will this work?

Nani: Oh, thank you, Gio! (Takes the cocktail drink from Gio's hands as her other hand carefully puts her board down against the cooler, and goes to sit down on her own towel next to Gio's towel.) You are a lifesaver! Figuratively speaking, of course.

Lilo: Come on, Stitch, let's play some ball! (Puts camera back under umbrella in shade)

Stitch: (Takes football from spot next to cooler) Coming, Lilo!

Nani: We certainly picked a good day to have some beach time, huh?

Gio: Sure did! It's only 8:40am, and most people are still asleep!

Nani: (Laughs) It's summer. People tends to sleep in during summertime, except when they have summer jobs and etc. We're lucky indeed.

(At that point, the montage scene transitioned to show Gio skipping stones into a nearby lake, and unknowingly picking up a pod with the numbers "523" on it...)

Gio (voiceover): Occasionally, I did come across a new alien without warning...

Gio (tosses "rock" into water): Let's see how far it'll go...

(After a few skips, the "rock" glows, and Gio widens his eyes, recognizing that glow well enough, realizing that the rock was actually a pod!)

(The pod vanishes in a flash, and out appeared a new alien experiment. 523, a frozen floating alien that looks like a iceberg of sorts with eyes, smile, nose, and arms, legs. He has the color of ice blue. The alien chirps, and with a touch of its 'hand', the lake freezes.)

Gio (gasps): I better either try to catch him...or run...(reaches for tranquilizer gun)

523: (Sees Gio holding tranquilizer gun, and instantly gets scared, going into blizzard mode, making ice and snow at once)

Gio (fires it)

523: (Squeals in pain as the dart hits him in the soft flesh meaning his belly) Uhh-oooh! (Becomes dizzy as the blizzard vanishes, and falls down to lake which is still frozen)

Gio: That was easy...(Walks onto icy lake and picks him up)

523: (Whimpers)

Gio: It's okay, little guy...(Places him on shoulder) I'll take good care of you...(heads back to house)

523: (Purrs as he soon senses that Gio isn't harming him, and makes a ice mini sculpture of Gio in quick perfection, and thrills softly as 523 then shows it to Gio)

Gio: Awwww...for me?

523: (Nods with a chirp and a smile)

Gio (Sees Lilo and Stitch in distance): Hey Lilo! Stitch!

(Lilo and Stitch look up from their game of kickball, and wave as Lilo grinned, seeing a new friend on Gio's shoulder) Lilo: Aloha, Gio! Is that a new cousin?

Stitch: (Sniffs the air) Definitely cousin.

Gio: Sure is! (shows glass figurine of myself) He made me this!

Lilo: Whoa, that's a little version of you, and really good too! (Looks up at 523 with a grin)

523: (Blushes a dark blue on cheeks and smiles)

Stitch: (Comes up and talks Tantalog to 523 and 523 responds with a giggle) Cousin power is ice and snow.

Gio: Oh, can I name him?!

Lilo: Why not? You found him, so you can name him!

Gio: Slushy!

Lilo: Ooh, that's a really good name!

Stitch: Youga think of it, cousin? (Blinks in question at Slushy who spoke a bit Tantalog, and Stitch nods before translating) He loves name!

Gio (places Slushy down)

Lilo: Nice to meet you, Slushy, officially!

Slushy: (Squeaks happily with a smile)

Lilo: Now we gotta find your true place. Somewhere your skills can help out...

Gio: Well, it's clearly an alien that likes to freeze stuff so let's find something cold for him.

Lilo: Something cold, a place to be cold...Hmm, there's not many places for that...Especially on a tropical island, and having summer...Wait, I think I got it! Come on, guys, let's head to town! (Gestures with a grin and a hand)

Stitch: Lilo never wrong about true places. She positive.

Slushy: (Thrills softly in curiosity and glances at Gio)

Gio: So, Lilo...What is your idea?

Lilo: (Grins widely) Snowcones and icicles! If people's feeling hot, they can have a snowcone or a icicle to lick and suck upon to get cooler.

Gio: That's...actually a very good idea.

Stitch: Ih!

Slushy: (Squeaks happily at the mention of icicles; instantly forming one with a happy grin, but then frowns as he chitters to Stitch)

Stitch: Cousin Slushy no know how to make snowcones.

Lilo: Oh, that's easy to do, right, Gio?

Gio: Sure is! Say, let's construct him a booth! (points to hardware store nearby)

Lilo: Great idea! And let's paint it different shades of blue with white for Slushy.

Stitch: (Whispers excitedly) Ih!

(The scene transitioned to 3 hours later, where Gio, Lilo, Stitch, and Jumba finally finished constructing Slushy's shave ice place...)

Gio: And...done! (Hammers in final nail)

Slushy: (Comes closer, touches the booth place while chittering thoughtfully, and carefully darts around and over the booth, looking from every angle, and finally, stopping to stand upon the counter and squeaks happily)

Jumba: Ah, looking like 523 loves booth!

Lilo: Alright, Slushy! You ready to do your thing?

Slushy: (Nods, and grabs a cone from the supply of cones that Gio bought nearby, and blows ice with sprinkle of snow, forming a perfect ball, and looks at Gio as he gestures with a questioning manner to the three bottles of syrup; strawberry, blue raspberry, or grape.)

Gio: Uh...in my opinion, you'll need a LOT more options for flavors than that.

Lilo: Oh, that's what I got with my money earlier. I should have bought more, huh? It's just that those flavors are popular around here.

Gio: Well, if you have more flavor options to choose from, you'll appeal to most customers.

Slushy: (Blinks in surprise, and taps chin in thought before nodding with a trill)

Jumba: Bigger boy making sense. Little girl, where did flavored syrup being from?

Lilo: Oh, I bought those from the local grocery store just over there. But I have just a few dollars left, and that's not enough to buy more flavor options.

Gio: Well, go and get them so we can officially open this thing!

Lilo: Did you hear me? I only can manage to buy one more flavor option with my few dollars!

Jumba: This calling for sharing. (Goes into pocket, muttering) At least bigger girl be telling me that this be for emergency or shopping need. (Draws out a $20) Here, little girl, you heard bigger boy. Go getting more flavored syrup!

Lilo: (Grins) Great! I will be right back in a bit! Slushy, you're going to be happy at the end of the day, I know it!

Gio: And I'm glad to have been a part of this!

Stitch: (Nods with a excited grunt) Ih.

(The scene cuts to Show a line of tourists and locals in front of the now-open shave ice stand...)

Gio: Mission accomplished! (High-fives Lilo and Stitch)

Jumba: Let's be heading home. I believe it being soon for dinner.

Lilo: Let's order something! Gio rehabilitated a cousin for his first time!

Stitch: (Nods in agreement)

Lilo: So, what do you want for dinner, Gio? I am sure Nani won't mind!

Gio: Oh, let's order Chinese food!

Lilo: (Smiles widely) Sounds awesome to me! Stitch?

Stitch: (Nods) IH!

Jumba: What be we waiting for? Let's go!

Lilo: Today sure was great, wasn't it?

Gio: Sure was! (gets out phone) Know a place?

Lilo: Sure do! (Tells him the name as they walk to the buggy, with Jumba going in to drive)

Stitch: Meega happy cousin Slushy got true place! (Jumps into passenger seat next to Jumba with Gio and Lilo going into back seats)

Gio: What is the phone number for this place? I'll call them and order ahead of time!

Lilo: I think Nani wrote it down like other restaurant phone numbers she did, and sorry, I actually don't remember it. Anyway, we're almost home, and the notepad of restaurant phone numbers and their names is resting somewhere in one of the drawers.

Gio: Alright...

(The scene cuts to Gio back at the house later on, dialing the restaurant...)

Gio: Hello?

Cashier/Side Cook: Hello. Welcome to Hun's. What can we do for you, sir?

Gio: Yes, I have a HUGE order so be prepared!

Cashier/Side Cook: Family style, then? Alright, bring it on, sir.

Gio: For starters, I will have an order of pork buns, pork dumplings, chicken dumplings, vegetable dumplings, pork egg rolls, shrimp egg rolls, and 10 bags of crispy noodles.

Cashier/Side Cook: Whoa! (Off screen) We got a jumbo client here! (Back on phone) Okay, and you want large container size for the starters so you can split portions into your plates?

Gio: A large container size, please.

Cashier/Side Cook: Yes, sir, that can be done! And for the main courses, sir?

Gio: Yes, I'll need the following all to be family sized, alright?

Cashier/Side Cook: Yes, sir! I'm ready to hear it all!

Gio: I'll have orange chicken, beef wontons, sweet and sour chicken, honey garlic chicken, and chicken wontons.

Cashier/Side Cook: Great choice, sir. Family size, check! And the desserts, sir?

Gio: Oh, what do you have?

Cashier/Side Cook: Oh, we got egg tarts, pumpkin pancakes, sweet egg buns, pineapple tarts, chinese fried dough, eight-treasure rice pudding, and of course, fortune cookies!

Gio: Hmmm...Give us the chinese fried dough, fortune cookies, and egg tarts!

Cashier/Side Cook: Excellent, sir! Let me do some calculating here, sir. One moment, please. (Sound of register and computer) Okay, sir, the total is $114.32.

Gio: Perfect! I'll pay with a debit card!

Cashier/Side Cook: Understood, sir! The delivery man will be there with a debit card scanner when he arrives. The time of arrival will be 5:20 pm, maybe earlier if traffic's good. May I have your address, sir?

Gio: (gives address)

Cashier/Side Cook: Thank you, sir, and have a great afternoon/evening! Many thanks for picking Han's as your restaurant for the day.

Gio: My pleasure! (hangs up)

(The scene transitions to a couple of hours later where everybody at the table is cracking open their fortune cookies, having eaten dinner)

Lilo: Okay, here it goes. 'Your life makes you orange juice, go drink it then.'. What the heck does that mean?

Gio: Uh...no idea...

Nani: Me neither. How about mine? Let's see here...'A short pencil is better than a long memory any day.' That's so obvious! A short pencil runs out of space faster than a long memory!

Jumba: You being wrong, bigger girl. Long memory having more hiding information than pencil.

Pleakley: But doesn't a long memory fade out faster than a pencil does?

Nani: Good point there. Gio?

Gio (opens one): It says here..."You will find a home away from home"!

Stitch: That happening already to Gio! He got home here on Kauai!

Lilo: Stitch's right about that.

Pleakley: I agree with that one.

Jumba: Some fortune cookies being right while others being funny or weird.

Stitch: Meega turn! 'Feeding cow roses not get you appreciation.' Meega not understand.

Nani: Now that's actually weird.

Gio: (bursts out laughing)

Lilo: You understand that one, Gio? It's actually funny to you?

Gio: No...I don't understand it, but I find it funny.

Stitch: Glad meega say it to make you laugh happy.

Jumba: Indeed! Being my turn now. 'Strong reasons making strong actions'. That one being making sense to me.

Nani: Huh, I guess that means when we have dreams, we want to do things to make those dreams happen.

Pleakley: That is a reasonable saying, don't you think, Gio?

Gio: Yep, I agree. It requires TONS of years of hard work!

Pleakley: That, I agree. Okay, my turn now! 'Every flower blooms in its own sweet time.' Does that mean patience in a way of sorts?

Nani: Perhaps, but I think it means that every person grows to be their true selves in time.

Lilo: Like me?

Nani: All people of ages like you or Gio. He will find a job he loves in his own time. Right, Gio?

Gio: Right, Nani!

Stitch: Weega have movie night again? (Everybody agrees to the idea, and goes to have a great movie night as usual, and later on, they went to sleep, wondering what the new day's gonna bring.)

(The montage then faded to another random day to show Dr. Hamsterviel trying to find a way into Lilo's house, not knowing that Gio was home alone there...)

Gio (voiceover): Every once in a while, Dr. Hamsterviel would show up, but I found it odd to see that he now had a phobia of me!

Hamsterviel: Hmmm, now, where is Jumba's room? His computer, I will hack it, and reprogram all the experiments to exploit my plans to perfection!

(Hamsterviel pulled out a pin, and inserted it into a keyhole on the front door to pick the lock...)

Hamsterviel: Aha! Yes! Prison may have been horrible, but it sure was valuable in watching others attempt to escape themselves. Pick locking, indeed.

Gio (looks up from video game he's playing in the kitchen): I feel like I'm not alone...

Hamsterviel: (Door opens) Too easy! Let's see, where is that lunkhead's room? Must be in hallway beyond kitchen and living room.

Gio (sniffs air): Is that...rat hair?! (gets up and grabs a knife from kitchen)

Hamsterviel: (Sees Gio exiting the kitchen with knife in his hand, and screams) Never mind! Don't wanna be you! (Runs for his life, impossibly fast like Road Runner, disappearing off into the jungle, leaving Gio in the dust, staring after him, dumbfounded as he lowered his knife.)

Gio: Wait...WHY AM I LETTING HIM GET AWAY?! (drops knife and grabs jar) GET BACK HERE! (chases after him)

Hamsterviel: YOU'LL NEVER GET ME, BOY! (Running for his life)

Gio (runs after him): I'M GOING TO STOP YOU!

Hamsterviel: YOU WON'T CATCH ME! (Laughs smugly as he's a fast bunny-hamster alien)

Gio (grabs a brick): SUCK BRICK, GERBIL! (tosses it)

(The brick tumbles upon Hamsterviel's feet, tripping him) Hamsterviel: (Groans and growls) I am not a gerbil! I am a hamster! Get it in your head. Hamster, not gerbil!

Gio (walks up to him and grabs him): Time to go! (seals him in jar)

Hamsterviel: (Mutters angrily in frustration) Trapped again by your hands! That's it, I had enough of seeing you this long, frustrating summer! Once I get rid of you, I will have peace and your world in my hands!
