Gio: Mom...dad...if all of this was bothering you, why didn't you just tell me?! I... I wouldn't have known any better about how you felt since you just kept it from me. And does this mean that the real reason for the Hawaii trip wasn't just because I was getting to know my other family members better!?

Robert: We were afraid that you wouldn't listen to our concerns, and besides, you're a teenager. Teenagers of your age say that you're all fine, that you can take care of yourself, that you don't want us nagging on you, intruding on privacy... And no, mostly we wanted you to reunite with the rest of the family as the real reason. We were rather hoping that Nani and Lilo would have taught you several lessons, and yes, Ohana counts as a lesson as well. We're not leaving you, Gio, or forgetting you. We just want the old self of you back, Gio...along with good changes from Hawaii. What else would we have done? Your mother refused to send you to therapy, knowing how you are with strangers since that day, and I completely was disgusted at a co-worker's idea of sending you to military school after I only mentioned that you were troubled, but he presumed that you were a troublemaker instead!

Gio: Well, whoever said that is a fool because it's now my fault that I was attacked by that bully and it's not my fault that the bully decided to hit me with a brick for no reason. And mom...dad... I would have honestly listened to you and then talk about it for a while if you would have just told me the truth right from the beginning. You know how I feel about being lied to...

Robert: It was never your fault that the bully attacked you for no reason, through there should have been a reason...Your mother thought the bully was jealous of you having friends or something related about it. I theorized that the bully just had a really bad temper that day over some situation he was having at home...He wouldn't talk anyhow when I confronted him in that interrogation. (Sighs) Really, you would have listened to us in the beginning? I know, son, lying is bad...I guess we thought we wanted to protect you because...in that bed in the hospital with bandages on your face...you looked so helpless and small like a kid again...You were asleep from the pain mediation, but your mother cried...I was both furious and shocked...

Gio: Mom, dad, I'm alright. Luckily all those I had were few tiny cuts and bruises, but those old cuts managed to heal with no scars left behind. I'm surprised I don't have any scars left over, but it's a miracle that I don't have them at all.

Robert: (Chuckles shakily) Yes, it's a miracle, but those days when you had them without the bandages...It became such a painful reminder to me and your mother...And...I never showed the evidence photos from school to your mother, but I realized if the altercation went far worse, we would have lost you...No sophomore, junior, senior year, the graduation day, the first day of college orientation, the day you present your girlfriend or boyfriend, the day you show us the engagement ring, the day of your wedding, the day you give me a grandchild into my arms, sharing birthdays, holidays, no laughter from you, everything...

Gio: Dad...(sniffs): I'm...I'm so sorry. I...I didn't know. What is going to happen to that bully in the future? I think so far in the state of New York, a person can be in juvenile hall until they turn 21.

Robert: (Sighs heavily) If he goes on good behavior for a good while, he could leave juvenile hall earlier, but he will be on probation either way with a probation officer to keep a eye on him. And I don't blame you if you don't wanna see him ever again. I can always talk to his parents to figure something with another state's juvenile jail if they need to move away from New York City...It has been almost over a year and half since the incident...

Gio: Could you...maybe see about having him sent to an adult jail once he's done with juvenile hall? He's too dangerous and probably is still blaming me for his arrest despite him doing it to himself.

Robert: The big slammer, huh? I suppose since he's nearing 17, and attempting to attack you with a brick, as you are a minor, that's a major misdemeanor, meaning assault and battery, I could talk to the judge to putting him in adult jail for say, 10-15 years? And do you want me to convince his parents to consider moving on to another state, and putting him in that state's adult jail in a transfer of sorts?

Gio: Well, yes to this bully being in adult jail for 10-15 years, but...why move to another state?

Angela: Excuse me, dear, my turn to explain. Gio, you dearly love New York City, and I don't know if you are deciding to live here for the rest of your life with a apartment or whatever you choose on your own, but I believe you wouldn't want to see this bully ever again with the bully being in juvenile/adult jail in the vicinity of the city, even if the crowd of people here is like a ocean of faces. And besides, his parents would be feeling guilty and hurt since they raised him, and unintentionally be involved in the day the bully decided to do that fateful choice which happened to you...

Gio: Well...Mom, I do want to live in my own NYC apartment when it's the right time. So...yes, get that family out of the state of New York!

Robert: Tell you what, I will talk to the family this afternoon after our lunch, and to clarify, do you want the bully transferred to another juvenile/adult jail in joining the family's choosing of another state to move to?

Gio: Yes, that'll be better!

Robert: Well then, consider it done, son. I will be busy for the next couple of days then including this afternoon, but I will be there at the airport to welcome you home by your mother's side, alright?

Angela: Are you fine with that, Gio?

Gio: I sure am! And...thanks for everything...thank you.

Angela: Oh, sweetheart, we'll see each other soon! Just four more days, right, dear?

Robert: That's right, we'll see ya, kiddo. Just make the best of the remaining days, Gio, and have fun. I love you, son.

Angela: I love you, Gio. Now you better get some sleep if you want to spend all day tomorrow outside, alright?

Gio: You got it, mom...but can you both promise me one thing?

Angela and Robert: (In unison) What?

Gio: From now on...if anything is wrong, could you just tell me what is wrong and be honest with me?

Angela: Of course we will be honest with you from this moment on! We are so sorry that we did this, but we wanted to protect you.

Robert: I shall call you if anything goes wrong with the plan with the bully's family, but I don't believe that to be happening anyhow.

Angela: In return, just think about what I asked earlier. Take your time to say that you're at peace or you're back to your old self, something you could say when you get home. We really want our old Gio back, not that sarcastic, judgmental boy you've changed into...Just remember that you're always loved, Gio, we don't wanna lose you.

Robert: That's right, we love you, Gio. Now, listen to your mother, and get some sleep, my son.

Gio: I love you both...and I'm glad you did send me to Hawaii to meet my other family members...I've had so much fun.

Angela: We're so happy to hear that, sweetheart! Now, it's time to sleep, Gio Pelekai. Good night.

Robert: Have good dreams, kiddo.

Gio: Good night, mom...good night, dad.

(The scene transitioned to the next morning at the breakfast table, where Gio placed plates of warmed-up leftover pizza slices from a previous day for breakfast. Nani and Lilo were already seated at the table, each with a glass of orange juice...)

Gio: And here is some leftover pizza!

Nani: Thanks, Gio, appreciate it.

Lilo: Ain't hungry...

Nani: Thinking about Stitch, huh?

Lilo: I and Scrump both are...She's worried about him. (Glances at Scrump who's laying across Stitch's back of the chair.)

Nani: Come on, you gotta eat a little bit, at least...

Lilo: Okay...Just a few bites...

Gio: Want some garlic bread with it? (Gets out basket of it)

Lilo: Just split half off it...

Nani: (Sighs softly) Look, if you're that worried, why don't you make a call?

Lilo: (Scoffs) Mr. Cobra Bubbles is all too busy or something...The ship is gone, and Pleakley took his space phone with him...It's intergalactic, Nani, not overseas! (Gasps) That's it! Gio, whip up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

Nani: For breakfast?

Lilo: Nope. A trade of sorts.

Gio: Uh...after I eat, if you don't mind.

Lilo: That's fine.

Nani: If you have to wait, eat your slices. Wherever you're deciding to go, you need energy in your body. Deal?

Lilo: Deal! (Goes ahead to eat more than her pre-planned few bites of pizza.)

Gio: Anyway, what do you want to "trade"?

Lilo: I was thinking if Gantu's out of the ship, I can sneak in, see 625, trade the sandwich for a few minutes of the ship's videophone. I know you saw him a few times, and he really, really loves sandwiches. He couldn't refuse a peanut butter and jelly classic.

Gio: Woah, no, no, no, no, NO!

Lilo: Gio, shut up! I am really getting worried about Stitch! There's no other way to call him than Gantu's ship videophone! Besides, how do you know that 625 is bad if he never hurt me or Stitch, hmm? He never hurt you either from the sounds of the story Stitch told me...

Gio: First of all, please don't tell me to "Shut up". That is a very rude thing to say to me and I will not tolerate it

Lilo: Well, I wanted you to be quiet. You get crazy over things like this. And besides, I ain't letting you stop me from going!

Nani: She's really serious, Gio. We don't have any other way to contact Stitch, and if there's a intergalactic videophone in Gantu's ship, it's the only chance for her to see, be sure that Stitch's okay and all.

Gio: Lilo...(sighs) Calm down. Please... just apologize for getting mad at me because I never implied that I was going to stop you from doing what you want to do. If that was the case, I would have grabbed you before you even said that.

Lilo: (Blinks in surprise and exhales slowly) Sorry, I am sorry for being rude and getting mad...I just really miss Stitch...

Gio: Good. I understand that you miss him, but that doesn't justify what you did to me just now.

Lilo: I know...I need to do this...625's the only chance I got...

Gio: Wait...you said that Stitch told you something?

Lilo: Stitch didn't tell me all the details, just that there was your bike involved, and that you were getting the movie at the time...Stitch heard you and 625 yelling at each other for some reason. I was confused when he ran from me while playing ball, and now I know he was being mediator between you and 625.

Gio: Oh...and I'm sorry for that, Lilo.

Lilo: It's okay..So, can you whip up the sandwich? You look like you're almost done with that slice, anyway.

Gio: Sure, no problem.

(And so with that, the scene transitions to the waterfall area where Gantu's ship resides at, and after whipping up the sandwich and finishing up breakfast, about a half hour later, Lilo and Gio made it by briskly walking)

Lilo: No freaking out, Gio. I got this. (Smiles confidently while holding a bag containing the peanut butter and jelly classic sandwich)

Gio: But...I don't trust him still.

Lilo: Gio, how many cousins you got to know better by making friends with them, hmm?

Gio: Uh...

Lilo: (Smirks) My point exactly. Now, come on. I'm guessing that Gantu decided to go get something to eat or probably taking some time off on the beach today as lately, he hasn't been causing trouble otherwise, by now, he'd be running out of the ship, shouting and wearing that grumpy face.

Gio (walks up to hatch door and knocks): Uh...hello? Anyone home?

625: (Intercom buzzes) Hey, Gio, dude, and is that Lilo? You're in luck! Come in! (Something else buzzes and hatch door opens up)

Lilo: Now, that's a good attitude! Keep that up! (Comes through hatch door, and widens her eyes in surprise as there's stacks of sandwiches everywhere as Gio follows her in) Whoa...Hello?

625: Over here! (Lilo turns into the direction of the call, and walks on, finding 625 cutting up bread and meat)

Lilo: Hey. You're sure busy. Is Gantu out?

625: (Scoffs) Oh, yeah. He stormed off, leaving me behind. Stupid lunk.

Lilo: (Blinks) I see. Well, I was hoping that I'd use your ship videophone to check on Stitch.

625: Is that right? Sorry, it's busted like the rest of this junk of a ship.

Lilo: Oh...Anyway, I got you something. (Places bag next to 625 as he's stacking up another tower of sandwiches, using a knife to cut down the stack into triangles)

Gio: Uh...hey. (smiles nervously)

625: Hey, Gio. No worries about that bike incident and other times, it's all water under the bridge. You're all good, yeah? (Smiles before looking in the bag to see what Lilo brought him) Ah, the classic peanut butter and jelly! Nobody has ever given me one before...

Lilo: Really?

625: Yeah, and speaking of giving, why didn't you ever name me? I mean, I am practically related to Stitch!

Lilo: Oh, gosh, I didn't, did I? You were technically captured by Gantu and Hamsterviel, but you didn't hurt me or Stitch or any of the other cousins...You just wanted to make sandwiches...

625: So? (Raises eyebrow)

Lilo: Well...How about Rye? (625 looks disgusted) Pastrami? (625 shakes his head) Subway? (625 scoffs) Jersey? (625 rolls his eyes)

625: I ain't getting named after a state!

Lilo: (Glances at Gio) Can you suggest something, Gio?

Gio: Hmmm...(eyes widen) Oh, Reuben!

Lilo: Reuben! That's perfect! (Looks over) What do you think?

625: (Considering the name) That's the classic corned beef and sauerkraut on rye. Reuben, I like it!

Lilo: Great. Say, Reuben, if I give you the full ohana status, would you fix the videophone? (Smiles craftily)

Reuben: (Laughs) Ooh, you're smart, Lilo. Alright, you're on. Wanna help me out, Gio?

Gio: Uh...sorry, I'm not good with fixing videophones.

Reuben: Oh, gotcha. Well, help yourself to a sandwich or two while I work on this. Gonna take a while.

(Reuben took to work upon the videophone for the next 10 minutes as Lilo and Gio helped themselves to a couple of sandwiches, and then Reuben called them over as he's close to finishing up)

Lilo: Pickles?

Reuben: (Grins) You'd be surprised that pickles can be a great conductor. (Puts a couple of pickles in the bracket of wires, and the videophone sparks, beeping on) There! You will thank me later.

Lilo: I will thank you now. (Hugs Reuben) Mahalo, Reuben.

Reuben: (Smiles) No problem, Lilo. (Feels a hand ruffling his head and looks up to see Gio smiling at him) First time I saw you doing that to me without anger or anything.

Gio: Uh...y-yeah...(rubs back of Reuben's neck) It...feels very good!

Reuben: Thanks. Oh, look, we're connecting now! Now we gotta wait for him to take the call.

Gio (puts a hand on Rueben's shoulder): You did good, Rueben.

Lilo: Yeah! Oh, here it comes! Aloha, Stitch!

Leroy faking as Stitch: Ih..

Lilo: Are you okay?

Leroy faking as Stitch: Oh, yeah, I'm fluffy!

Reuben: Yep, that's Stitch.

Lilo: Hmm. (Looks closer) Wait a minute, he's not wearing my tiki necklace! That's not Stitch!

Leroy faking as Stitch: Bye-a-bye! (throws seat canister towards videophone)

Lilo: Wait! (Videophone goes dead, static buzzing out) That wasn't Stitch!

Gio: Oh, no...you don't think...?

Lilo: Someone was faking to be Stitch, and I know Stitch promised to wear the tiki necklace. Something has happened to him! I just know it! And if this fake person is driving the Big Red Battleship, then we're in a whole lot of trouble. Earth, Turo, the whole galaxy!

Reuben: So what? Stitch can handle himself wherever he is.

Lilo: He needs help, and I am going! Gio, you staying back?

Gio: I got to stay back, Lilo. I can't risk getting hurt before I leave back to New York City.
