Once upon a time there was an adorable innocent blonde teacher named Mrs. Mayberry.
She taught in a red school with a gold bell on top. "Learning is fun" was written in bright yellow letters on the side of the building with colorful kite art and a rainbow painted on the wall. A sign in front said "Puppies Junior School" in the sunlight. There were tall green trees and a playground to one side. The old-fashioned gold bell rang for the start of the day. A blue jay and a cardinal sang from a tree branch as the teacher opened the white curtains.
Vivziepop's impersonator wrote "Hello!" with white chalk on the green blackboard.
"Good morning!" She spun around in a dance, grabbing her piece of plaster. She wore a white shirt with red colored cherries on it and a long blue-gray skirt. A green pendant rested on her shirt. She wore cherry earrings and round yellow glasses. Her blond hair was tied behind her in the shape of a flower. "Have a nice sunny day" was written on a poster with a big smiling sun with big eyes on it. Nearby was a calendar and an old squared-off computer on a desk. A white daisy was in a flowerpot. "The word of the day is harmony" was written on a program posted on a board behind the children sitting at the desks. The orange curtains on the windows had white mathematical symbols. The program read "math, history, reading, grammar, science, art and music" as the many school subjects of the days of the week.
"I hope you have done all your homework!" she trilled.
The children nodded with a dance to their bodies. A boy wearing an orange T-shirt turned on a stool wearing a donkey cap and faced the wall. The class randomly broke into a song.
"We love doing homework and we love our teacher too!"
The teacher sang: "And when I throw these funny questions, you should know exactly what to do."
"Good!" they cheered, arms in the air.
She wrote 2 6 = 8 on the board and added,
"Two plus six ago ..."
"Eight!" the class replied.
"And good behavior is ..."
"Great!" intervened.
"And now is that part of the class where we say the time of day and the date."
"It's nine in the morning," sang a blond boy.
"January 8 ..." added a black girl.
"The sun is smiling," said a brown-haired girl with a bow.
"And it's your husband's birthday!" she remembered the donkey with its tongue out.
As the class sang "la la la", the teacher found herself unwrapping the chalk in a line on the blackboard. Sweat covered her forehead while her cast was almost completely broken. The singing was a constant buzz in her head. Her right eye twitched and turned.
"Oh my stars, stop singing children! Shut up now!"
The class fell silent.
She put a hand to her forehead. "I forgot it's my husband's birthday! I didn't get him anything special."
The brown-haired girl stood up and said, "Maybe if we call him, we could have a happy birthday surprise!"
The teacher and the children gathered around the squared computer. At her husband's house, a lonely sock fell on the call screen that read "wife".
The screen went on and everyone gasped in disbelief.
The teacher's husband was about to have sex with another woman!
A tie, bra, and condom fluttered against the screen as they straddled their bed naked.
"We won't need this," said a voice as the condom hit the screen with Ms. Mayberry's face on the other side.
The teacher sat at her desk, looking stunned, his face flushed. The other woman was so young and beautiful. There was her husband, dressed naked and showing his muscles and parts of him to the other woman.
"Oh yeah," her husband chuckled, "Not there, not there." They also seemed to be playing with squeaky sex toys.
With a blank look on her face, the teacher suddenly stood up and walked away. If she couldn't get a divorce from that cheating bastard ...
"Wait! Mrs. Mayberry!" called the brown-haired girl. She took the teacher's hand. "Remember what you taught us ... she thinks before acting."
There was a long pause, the class was nervous about what to do next.
...
Instead of taking an action she would soon regret, Mrs. Mayberry took a deep breath and patted the girl on the head.
"You're right," she said. "Time to fix this, reasonably."
She got into her green car with "I love school" on the license plate and drove home on the road. The boys looked out the window and then at the computer.
"Oh honey," James said to Mrs. Mayberry as he walked home. "What are you doing here?"
"Shut up! I could ask you the same thing," Mrs. Mayberry retorted with a glare at the blonde lady below him.
Mrs. Mayberry crossed her arms. "We were going to have a family. And then you decided to put yourself behind me with her? What were you thinking ?!"
"Well ... her"
Mrs. Mayberry's face turned red and she growled. Her fists clenched and her eyes narrowed to a nearby gun hanging menacingly on the wall ...
Mrs. Mayberry closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
"Go away," Mrs. Mayberry declared. "You and that woman is never to be seen again!"
The couple obeyed, leaving the teacher sitting on her bed, her head buried in her hands.
The children looked at her sadly across the screen.
"Oh? I'm so sorry, kids," she said as she saw them. "Don't forget to work on your timestamps. I'll be back soon."
The children nodded and went back to their desks.
Ms. Mayberry related as she walked the C.H.E.R.U.B office floor:
"I was a good person before everything went wrong. I've been decent all my life. Do your best in everything, you learn from all your trials ... and if you can arrest true to yourself you end up in heaven with all the Martin Luther Kings and Gandhi .. "
Mrs. Mayberry stepped into the window light. She now she was an angel, with blonde hair in a flowery shape similar to what she had in life. Her white wings were folded behind her and a white halo hovered over her head. She wore her usual thin square glasses and her light purple dress was decorated with cherries. In the center of her where her pendant was on her chest was a small golden eye. Her eyes were a brilliant emerald green that sometimes looked golden in the sunlight. In Heaven, she was a popular kindergarten teacher and flight instructor for little angels.
C.H.E.R.U.B's boss, Cletus, listened intently from her office chair.
"Interesting. So your husband Jarold cheated on you with this Martha that was the name ..."
"Yes," Mrs. Mayberry corrected her.
"So what happened," Cletus said.
Mrs. Mayberry sighed. "Jarold eventually died apparently that woman Martha was a serial killer right after the crazy one was killed by the police you see that Karma thing is true. At that point I had made myself a new life or met a beautiful person that like me she had been cheated on with her two beautiful children whom she or loved from day one. I worked at school and made sure my students got a great education, of course. By the way, my new husband's names and Ted and those of our children are June and Cherry. "
"Lovely names!" Cletus smiled.
"I know. ... the last time I checked after my death Ted fell into a deep depression. I died in a car accident two years ago and he still can't get over it."
"I'm sorry. But why come to us?" Cletus asked standing up. "C.H.E.R.U.B aims to save those who are in danger and, from the look of things, the people you have known in your life while being sad are not in danger."
"No believe me Ted is in danger," Mayberry explained. "There are days when he can't get out of bed in pain if it weren't for his sister Rachel who came to help him he would have died of starvation is June and Cherry try to help as they can but they are also not well and they can't keep him an eye all the time or fear that he may take his own life. "
"I can't leave it like this!" Mrs. Mayberry yelled in frustration, stepping into Cletus's face.
"Oh yes, yes, exactly my thoughts," Cletus said with a nervous look. He has a button under his desk underneath.
The red light came on on a label that said "Customer in Need". The other labels read "More Tea", "Client Giving Birth", "Fell Asleep", "Entranced Client", "Ghost" and "Michael".
In another room, a purple-haired sheep Collin was busy pointing a golden wand at a family of mannequins.
"Collin, stop shaking," his girlfriend Keenie said. "He will strike our only heavenly kangaroo!"
Kayla The Kangaroo sat nearby, smiling silly.
"Come on Collin you can do it," she said, staring at Collin.
"Take a deep breath," Keenie said, talking more to herself as she inhaled, "... and let it out."
"But ... why do we have to use wands for blessings," muttered Collin. "We can't just go to them"
"You know what Lord Michael's clerk about being discreet," Keenie began, as Collin scratches his head.
"I know that being discovered by the public would destroy the concert of faith." He spoke through gritted teeth. "This is understandable." Then he spoke normally. "But granting miracles like this I don't think I know how to do it"
"Hey!" Kayla stood up. "Don't think so hilly." She pointed to the mannequin. "Aim and hit"
Kayla closed her eyes. "Trust yourself more."
"Exactly," Keenie said. "I know you're insecure but I know you can do it." She stroked her boyfriend's cheeks. "It won't be the classic way to bless but as long as it works we don't have to worry."
She kissed Collin and he focused on the target.
"I just think it's a detached method, that's all," Collin said.
Just then Cletus entered the room, followed by the angel Mrs. Mayberry.
"Guys! I want you to meet ..."
Collin accidentally shoots the divine beam off the bulletin board and splashes into the air, hitting the chandelier on the ceiling. Mrs. Mayberry stares at Cletus who shrugs.
"... our new customer!"
The chandelier starts generating a very powerful light immediately after the entire office goes into blackout.
"Damn, Collin that chandelier was new!" Cletus shouted.
Eventually, they left the room and waited outside. Other angels came to help, replacing the electrical system. Mrs. Mayberry got into a yellow cab that took off into the air on white wings.
"Hello!" called Cletus, "and don't worry, we'll save your husband in less than 24 hours." She waved her hand as Mrs. Mayberry left.
"When did we start implementing that agreement?" Keenie asked, frowning.
"When your boyfriend blew up the electrical system in our office in front of a customer!" Cletus yelled in anger, "Now someone can open the portal!"
"I already did Cletus," Kayla asked, showing the portal behind her.
"And that's why you're my favorite, Kay," Cletus said, speaking to her like a child. "Here, have a chocolate."
He pulled out a box full of her chocolates and held it in front of her.
"Em no thanks Cletus," Kayla said, dazed that he had just talked to her like she was a little girl.
"Or well more for me," Cletus muttered as he gulped all the chocolate in the box.
"You look like the German boy from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," Kayla smiled.
"Oh stop it, they all mistake me for Stewie Griffin already."
Kayla giggled as she walked away.
Cletus turned to his employees. "Now let's go to bless and pontificate!"
"The expression is, 'bless and sanctify', Cletus," Keenie said as she walked through the portal.
"Mine is better," Cletus said, following her.
"Oh, mother," Collin exclaimed with a worried sigh as he followed the two through the portal.
All three cherubs stood in front of a small red house by the lake as the sun set. Cletus and Collin leaned against the side of the house, rising from the bushes. Cletus got up and peered into a window. A row of white flowers stood in a window box on the windowsill.
"It must be him," Cletus whispered. Then he chuckled. "This is too easy." He looked at Collin. "Collin, do you want this?"
Collin looked dazed and smiled nervously. "Myself?"
"Yes, this is simple enough for you to handle. He's just a depressed father."
Collin got up and looked through the window. His face dropped as he looked at the sad family he was eating. In the center of the table was a turkey. The house was decorated with rifles on the walls and family photos. A black man with a sad face wearing a blue plaid shirt. He had shaved black hair and an athlete / superhero physique. together with him a woman his sister identical to him but with a big afro call and wearing a green gym suit Rachel walked next to her brother and two twin girls in the same dress had black braids, a red shirt with tie and a black skirt with boots. June and Cherry, Rachel holding a serving plate. They all had sad faces.
"Come on, we don't have all day!" Cletus shouted.
Collin pulled out her bulletin board, which was gilded with blue stars painted on top of her. He was pointing it at Ted.
"Don't put pressure on me," Collin muttered.
"What's difficult using the wand, the guy smiles again and the customer is satisfied ?!" Cletus asked incredulously.
"No, you think you make it a bit simple," Collin observed. "We are managing a grieving family here."
"Well, you sure don't help," Cletus began. "By doing nothing"
Collin then raised his wand but the sound of an owl appears out of nowhere frightening Collin making him miss the shot. The divine ray hit a glass mirror in the house, causing a gasp of fear among the family members.
"What the hell was that?" Rachel asked her Brother, who was sitting at the table.
Ted shook his head. "I have no idea ..."
He stood up with a grimace of anger, holding a hockey stick in his hands.
"But they sure picked the wrong time to ruin our dinner!"
Rachel set the plate down on the table, and grabbed a shotgun hanging from the wall.
Outside, Cletus was furious. "Damn Collin"
Collin breathed anxiously before emitting a croak. He fell to his knees, hands over his face.
"I'm sorry. I panicked." Tears rolled from his eyes.
Cletus with his hands in his face. "You seriously want to solve this performance anxiety problem of yours."
He leaned forward and took Collin's wand. "Now sit down and let me do it before you do some casino!"
One bullet and he went through the wall and hit Cletus in the arm of him. He screamed as the golden blood splashed.
"Damn it!" Cletus screamed in terror. "Scatter!"
Cletus and Keenie blew up just as another shot made a larger hole in the wall. A Rachel and Ted jumped through the hole and chased after them, weapons in hand. Collin peered out from behind the bush, glancing quickly around. A child's hand grabbed him and he screamed. He only saw a plate hit him before he passed out.
Keenie flew down a cobblestone path before diving into the lake.
"Where did you go?!" called Ted, holding the hockey stick and. He went up to the wooden dock. "What do you want from my family we haven't suffered enough, they also bring mutant goats!"
Keenie had her head above the water under the dock. She crashed the dock and tried to escape. Ted swings her club hitting her on the head. and she fell to the ground with a loud yelp. Keenie struggled feebly to stand, but she collapsed onto the dock, her eyes twitching. Ted picked her up and headed deep into the woods.
Collin opened his eyes and gasped with a squeak as he found her hands and his body tied with a rope. He appeared to be tied to a chair. Collin's face dropped in fear as she stared at the twins in front of him.
Collin tried to defuse the fear. "Oh. Hello little ones. You could set me free"
Children look at each other dazed:
"That sheep barely talked!"
Collin looked up in terror at a red spotlight above him. The light revealed that she was in the family kitchen
Collin glanced and whimpered. "Aw.."
Meanwhile, Cletus was flying to save his life in the woods. Four gunshots rang out as he darted through a bush, leaves falling to the ground. Rachel quickened her pace. The Cherub crouched under a bushes, looking around. She gasped, catching her breath.
"I know you're here somewhere," Rachel said.
Cletus launched himself behind a tree, taking deep silent breaths. His back was pressed against the bark. He covered his mouth, not daring to move.
"I don't know what you do but I will find you."
Rachel was walking in the woods, not too far away, in the shadows. "Come on, there's fear!"
Cletus sighed in relief after hearing the footsteps fade away.
Ring! Ring! Ah!
A surprised Cletus hurried to retrieve his yellow cell phone, which was ringing a pop ringtone. Eventually he grabbed the phone before pressing it against his ear. The phone had a laughing angel emoji on it.
"This is a really bad time," Cletus whispered harshly.
At Michael's palace, the celestial general was currently sitting on his balcony sipping tea.
"When isn't it a bad time, Cletus?" he pondered while he held a phone.
Cletus sighed in frustration. "What is that?"
Michael's blue eyes blinked. "Was I going to follow up on our last conversation about the portal?"
"Now?" Cletus asked.
Cletus ducked as a bullet flew through the tree he was standing behind. Rachel's dark figure appeared in the woods.
"Here you are !" he called him.
"Shit," Cletus muttered, running away.
"Anyway," Michael continued. "I've been thinking about it. You know, I've been allowing you to enter the mortal realm for some time and so far you haven't done anything serious.
Cletus stopped short when another bullet hit a tree. He hid behind another and whispered frantically: "Could you please get to the point"
Bam!
Another bullet hit a spot on the tree.
"Then let it be simple," explained Michael. "You and yours must be more discreet"
His eyes shone blue,
"There are reports of humans having sighted angels on earth." .
"It's really so hard not to get noticed"
"Everything is fine!" Cletus screamed
Suddenly, Cletus found himself pinned against the shaft by the lower handle of Rachel's pistol.
"Near!" She smiled. Cletus's phone was on the ground, Michael was still talking.
"So chucky," he asked angrily. "Come and annoy my brother and my nieces!"
It hit Cletus hard and he collapsed to the ground. He took it and headed into the woods.
Back home, Collin struggled to free his bound hands and body. In the reflection of the window, he could see the yellow-orange lights of the fires. He gasped.
"What are you some kind of Leprechaun?" Cherry asked
"What don't you hear is all a big misunderstanding" Collin replied
The two girls stared at him suspiciously.
"You tried to kill our father with a laser"
"That's ok I can understand the confusion but I didn't want to hurt anyone," Collin replied
"Prove it sheep," one of the twins said
"Your mother is sending me" as soon as the girls heard these words their expressions became pure anger
"That horrible woman sent you who abandoned us!" They both screamed
"No no not your other mother Mrs. Mayberry declared the angelic sheep sorry for what she had heard about Their birth mother.
She froze when one of the girls revealed a long sharp knife in her hand. "Watch what you say"
"It's the truth I ..." Collin knew he was forbidden to reveal himself to mortals but it is a desperate situation
"I am an angel it is your mother who asked me and my colleagues to help your father with your mourning"
"And you think we believe a story like that you took us for idiots," Cherry yelled
Collin looked at them, obviously they wouldn't have believed him. When the girl raised the knife, Collin pushed her back in the chair. There was a thud as the chair fell to the floor. Collin grabbed the knife and cut the rope, freeing himself. Collin burst through the round window. Without wasting time, I fly into the woods and towards rows of torches. There were also tents around the area.
A full moon appeared in the sky from behind thin clouds. Below, Cletus and Keenie were tied to a pole. Ted growled in anger as he stood in front of them. R was nearby, with a rifle in his left hand.
Cletus groaned in frustration. "I'm in pain. Thanks a lot, Collin."
"You don't know which laboratory you came out of but now!" Ted declared. "You will go back to where you came from!" He raised the bat. "Rachel calls the police!"
Rachel takes out the phone Cletus and Keenie, struggling to free themselves.
"Wait we were sent here to help you," explained Cletus. "You see we were trying to make the pain go away for your wife." While Keenie Smiles to let him know I'm not a threat.
"Like shooting me." Ted looked confused. "It's how you know about le."
"We are angels," said Cletus.
"Cletus!" Keenie spat.
Ted looked confused by this answer.
There was a loud bang and a beam of divine energy hit Both Rachel and Ted causing them to collapse to the ground.
"Collin!" Keenie happy to see she looks good with blessing wand in hand. Collin ran over and untied Keenie and Cletus.
"If I paid you I'd cut your salary for this Collin casino in half!" Cletus mentioned before falling. Collin and Keenie hugged each other with small smiles. They slowly moved their heads against each other with affection.
"Oh yes, thank you! I'm fine!" Cletus spoke in angry sarcasm.
Collin helped his boss by supporting him.
"I'm sorry, Cletus I got carried away by the emotions and or made a casino I assure you it will not happen again."
Cletus held Collin in a hug. "Apologies accepted." He then he spoke to Collin in a threatening voice. "But if you can do a stunt like this again, I'll have you excommunicated."
Equally fast, Cletus broke away from Collin and announced, "Okay! Job well done! Now let's go." Collin raised his arms in applause. From his chest, Cletus pulls out his phone.
"Huh. Yeah, give me a moment. I need to take something I left behind," Collin said.
"Okay, but hurry up," Cletus said. He put his phone to his ear and spoke loudly, "Kayla! We're ready to go home, dear!"
Collin ran through the woods, determined to make things right.
Back inside the house, the twins were waiting in a corner for the return of their father and aunt.
"Hey," Collin asked, greeting them. the girls looked scared and angry with him.
June looked at the cherub. "What do you want now"
"I'm sorry about the way things went," Collin replied, stepping back. "I know you miss your mother. She misses you too. I know you don't think I'm an angel but it doesn't matter."
She took a picture of them along with Ms Mayberry and hands it to him. "Because I know you have everything you want is to see you happy."
The twins took the photo of the only woman they could call mother and then they threw themselves on Collin and hugged him in tears.
"Oh my," Collin muttered.
After consoling the girls, he rushes into the dark wood.
"There he is," Cletus said. "you were browsing some leaves"
"Excuse me?"
C walked over to him. "Well, I don't care you come to your work on time, okay?" She hit Collin several times for emphasis. "See you at the office!" She ran through the portal.
Keenie put a hand on Collin's cheek. "Are you okay, honey?"
"Better now, honey," Collin replied with a smile. "I think I just need a minute to process."
Keenie tenderly touched Collin's chest. "You have a good heart, honey." She playfully pinched Collin's nose. "Just try to stay focused." She kissed him and Collin's heart pounded. She smiled happily as Keenie walked through the portal.
Collin saw that the girls' father and aunt stood in front of the house.
He could see the man hugging the two girls happily and in a carefree way
He was happy that the family he had to help is finally happy.
Cletus grabbed Collin firmly by the neck and dragged him through the portal.
Later, everyone laughed and celebrated at the C.H.E.R.U.B. Headquarter. They all wore birthday party hats. Kayla and Mrs. Mayberry kept the slices of cake on their plates. A white banner read "Mission Accomplished" in blue letters. A blue and white cake was sitting in front of Collin, the blue icing said "We did it! :)" Everyone looked joyful especially Collin. Sure they had come within inches of being killed or captured by humans. But Now here they were celebrating a successful job.
Keenie sang for joy and squeezed Collin tightly around her neck. "Did you see my little Collin in the end everything was fine!"
"Well, here's another mission accomplished," Cletus announced, "... and I hope you don't do any more nonsense."
Collin was staring at his plate with glee.
"It wasn't what I expected," said Ms. Mayberry, "But I can't complain!"
Everyone giggled.
"Yes, and live the family!" Cletus declared, throwing a victorious punch.
