Gia woke to a very loud, engine-like sound from above them. She woke with a start, but realizing she was right next to Jake, her breathing returned to normal, and she began to stretch as much as she could in the third row of their SUV.

"You awake finally?" Jake asked his sleepy girlfriend. Yawning, Gia nodded.

"I still don't get how I can be this tired after having coffee" she muttered, earning a laugh from Jake.

"Mystery of life" he said. "Anyway, were like 10 minutes from the airport…"

"2 minutes. HOV lanes came in handy for once" Mr. Moran interrupted.

"Well, 2 minutes now" Jake stated. Gia yawned again, and looked out the window. She could see they were just about to enter the airport, and wondered if it was a plane that woke her up. Figuring that was the most probable cause, she lay her head back on Jake's shoulder. "Don't fall back asleep again." Jake said.

"I'm not, the coffee is starting to kick in now." Gia said. Exactly two minutes later, the group of five teens and two adults were unloading their bags from the car at the airport dropoff, and handing the car to airport personnel, who, according to Mr. Moran, would park the car in a safe lot until they returned. Shouldering her bag and grabbing her suitcase, Gia assumed natural position next to Jake, who had slung his duffle over his shoulder, taking the weight, while Noah carried his backpack for him. "You had Noah carry your bag for you?" Gia smirked. Jake shrugged.

"You were right. Too much weight." He said. Noah laughed.

"I offered to carry it. Besides, I packed light." Noah unzipped his suitcase to show his rather light pack. Gia nudged Jake as she smiled at him.

"You could take a page from his book, ya know." She taunted. Jake laughed.

"What's so funny?" Troy asked as he and Emma emerged from the back of the car, their bags in tow.

"Just telling Jake he should pack more like Noah." Gia summed up. Troy eyed Jake's bag.

"It can't be that heavy" he assumed. Smiling, Jake handed his duffle to Troy.

"Be my guest" he snickered. Rolling his eyes, Troy accepted the duffle bag, but was immediately yanked down from the sheer weight of the bag. Straining to lift the bag back up, which he eventually did, he looked at Jake.

"Dude! Did you just pack a bag of rocks!?" Troy asked through clenched teeth. Jake laughed, taking the bag back.

"Nope. Just cloths and some soccer stuff" Jake confirmed at Troy stretched his shoulder. Mr. and Mrs. Moran then came up to them, and told them to grab their things, and stick together.

"Security won't take too long, but just make sure you have an eye on everyone" Mr. Moran told them. Nodding, the group entered the airport, eager to officially begin their vacation.

-

As Mr. Moran predicted, security didn't take too long to go through. The group made it though in a little over half an hour, and were now heading to their gate. They all decided to make a quick stop off at the food court to grab breakfast, as it was almost 5 in the morning. "Alright everyone" Mrs. Moran spoke. "Grab what you want, and meet at our gate in half an hour. Our gate is number 34, just over there" she pointed at where she was referencing, and everyone nodded in agreement. Shortly after, the group was split, and either wandering the food court, or having a quick breakfast. Jake and Gia decided a stop at Dunkin was a top priority, so they stopped off there first.

"What do you want?" Jake asked Gia, pulling out his wallet.

"Oh, are you buying for me again? What a gentleman" Gia teased. Jake nudged her playfully.

"Don't go overboard, Gia" Jake said. Gia nodded.

"Don't worry" she winked. Fortunately, Jake's bank account was spared, as they each just got a doughnut and a coffee. They were in the middle of eating when a thought crossed Gia's mind. "What if Troy's right?" She asked.

"Hm?" Jake asked her, turning to face her. Gia sighed.

"What Troy said yesterday, about there possibly being more monsters. What if he's right?" Sighing, Jake gave her a hug, and whispered in her ear.

"I had the exact same concerns." he admitted. Gia pulled away, surprised.

"You did?" She asked, stunned. Jake nodded.

"I keep thinking about how last time, we celebrated because we thought we had won, then along came the Armada." Gia sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Same. I was kept up a while last night thinking about it." Gia admitted.

"Well, if things do go sideways, we'll just do as you said; we'll take care of them, then go right back to vacation." Jake assured. Gia looked up at him.

"But what if there's an attack in Harwood while we're away?" She asked.

"Robo-Knight will handle it. He's more than capable" Jake explained. "And if things get out of his control, we can just swing by in our Zords." Gia saw relief in Jake's statement. Robo-Knight was capable of handling monsters, but if he needed back-up, their Zords can get them back to Harwood in less than 5 minutes.

"I guess you're right" Gia said, getting up from the table. "C'mon. We have to be at our gate." She said, throwing out her empty coffee cup. Jake and Gia then headed back to their gate, but were stopped by Noah, who was in a small airport bookstore, contemplating on what book to get.

"Which one should I get for the plane?" He asked, holding up the two options.

"Hm." Gia said, deep in though. "I've read White Fang before, it's pretty good, but Jurassic Park sounds more interesting". Noah nodded.

"That's what I was thinking, but it also seems like a quicker read, which, for me, means less than an hour." he told them. Jake smirked.

"Well, we have 5 hours in a cramped metal tube. It's your call, man" Jake said. Noah took another look, and nodded.

"Both it is" he confirmed, heading up to pay. "I'll meet you guys back at the gate".

"Will do" Jake said, and he and Gia headed back over to the gate, where their stuff was waiting by the chairs, with no one else around.

"It's still pretty early." Gia filled in, noticing Jake's confusion at a seemingly empty gate. "Our flight's not until, like, 7." she said, sitting down, and gesturing at the seat next to her. Jake sat down, and Gia resumed her earlier position, with her head on his shoulder, as they both watch the sunrise out of the gate window.
